Missouri Charity Investigated for Terrorism Ties

Washington (AP) -- A federal judge has ordered the government to turn over classified information about a Missouri charity accused of ties with terrorism.

U-S District Judge Reggie Walton gave attorneys two weeks to hand the files over.

His order came yesterday after the Islamic American Relief Agency asked that its assets be unfrozen.

The federal government raided the agency's Columbia headquarters in October, claiming the agency was a branch of a Sudanese relief agency tied to Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaida (al-KY'-ee-duh).

But attorneys for the Islamic American Relief Agency say there's no evidence that the group supported a terrorist organization based in Sudan.
