Guest Host: Former CBS TV and Newsweek reporter, Hugh Simpson joins to discuss our vulnerability to a catastrophic breakdown of infrastructure, energy, and food, which is greater than it’s ever been because of our dependence on technology, and our lack of preparation and survival skills. Hugh is originally from the Jesus Revolution of the 70s, which took place in his church in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida.

Before that he had been a Post Newsweek TV Group investigative reporter before returning to Florida State University to finish his degree. Then he went to the University of Illinois to get a Master’s in Advertising and Public Relations.

Since then he has had over 50 years in the public relations consulting business, 40 years in video production including as a Comcast TV producer, 30 years of event production and 20 years of internet marketing. Also while living in Atlanta he discovered a two paragraph article about an upcoming event – Y2K. That led to his first book in 1999 entitled A Family Survival Manual for Y2K & Beyond. This has led to 24 years of Preparedness and Survival Skills consulting and writing numerous books in this niche. His latest is GRID Going Down When NOT If.

His new ministry at Lifted Up Ministry™ led him to write another book – Jealousy, Loneliness and Satan DESTROYS A 30+ Years Friendship, a true story involving his long time friend D, whose daughter is a high profile Congresswoman from Georgia
