Israeli forces step up efforts to pound Rafah with bombs and tanks!

With a renewed ceasefire push in the eight-month-old Gaza war stalled, Israel bombarded central and southern areas again on Friday, killing at least 28 Palestinians, and tank forces advanced to the western edges of Rafah.

U.S.-backed Qatari and Egyptian mediators have tried again this week to reconcile clashing demands preventing a halt to the hostilities, a release of Israeli hostages and Palestinians jailed in Israel, and an untrammelled flow of aid into Gaza to alleviate a humanitarian disaster. But sources close to the talks said there were still no signs of a breakthrough.

Russia is developing an mRNA cancer vaccine …

An mRNA vaccine that works on all types of cancer has shown promising results in mice, Gamaleya Center director Alexander Gintsburg said in a June 6 interview with Gazeta.ru.

The drug is “being created based on mRNA technologies like the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines”, Gintsburg told the outlet, adding that his institute has its own mRNA platform that doesn’t rely on Western patents. The genetic vaccine will be custom-fit to each individual patient based on the results of tumor biopsies.

When asked about the vaccine’s safety, Gamaleya’s director said that the benefits of mRNA “therapeutic” vaccines outweigh the potential risks—but that the same cannot be said of “preventative” mRNA drugs.

Russian warships will be deployed to the Caribbean next week, Cuba announces …

‘None of the ships carry nuclear weapons, so their stopover in our country does not represent a threat to the region,’ the communist regime said.

Russian warships will be deployed to the Caribbean Sea next week, the Cuban foreign ministry confirmed on June 6.

The four Russian navy ships do not carry any nuclear weapons and will not present a threat to the region, Cuba’s foreign ministry said in a statement, confirming reports that cited unnamed U.S. officials.

“This visit corresponds to the historical friendly relations between Cuba and the Russian Federation and strictly adheres to the international regulations,” the communist country’s statement said, according to a translation. “None of the ships carry nuclear weapons, so their stopover in our country does not represent a threat to the region.”

WHO: Man in Mexico died from first human case of H5N2 bird flu!

The World Health Organization said the case is unrelated to a different outbreak of bird flu, H5N1, that has been detected in the United States.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed that a person with prior health conditions who contracted the H5N2 variant of avian influenza, also known as bird flu, died in April.

The individual, a 59-year-old resident of Mexico, first developed a fever, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nausea, and a general feeling of discomfort on April 17, the public health agency said on June 5.

The man was subsequently hospitalized at the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Mexico City on April 24 and died later that day.

Supreme Court finds 5-4 that federal government must cover native American health care!

Four conservative justices dissented, saying the law doesn’t require federal reimbursement.

The Supreme Court ruled 5–4 on June 6 that the federal government will have to cover Indian tribes’ costs incurred in operating tribal health care programs.

The majority opinion in Becerra v. San Carlos Apache Tribe and Becerra v. Northern Arapaho Tribe was written by Chief Justice John Roberts, joined by all three liberal justices and one conservative.

U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra was the petitioner in both cases. He appealed unfavorable rulings by lower courts.

Court: Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs broke the law in order to empower her henchmen!

Unable to legally get her way, Hobbs found an alternative means of installing agency heads.

Just months after Republicans expressed concern over Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs’ apparent willingness to “circumvent the laws of this state,” the Democratic governor realized their fears, violating the law and unilaterally appointing 13 of her henchmen to lead state agencies.

A judge said as much in his Wednesday ruling, indicating that when Hobbs failed to legally get her way, she elected instead to run roughshod over Arizona law.

Hallie Biden testifies that Hunter Biden was using drugs during the period he bought the gun!

Prosecutors seek to corroborate testimony from three of his former romantic partners to argue he was still addicted to crack cocaine when he bought the gun.

rosecutors called Hallie Biden to testify on June 6, the fourth day of Hunter Biden’s federal gun trial, and she detailed their romantic relationship, their alleged drug use, and messages purportedly showing that Mr. Biden was using drugs around the time he bought the firearm.

Ms. Biden is the widow of Mr. Biden’s deceased brother, Beau, who died from cancer in 2015. Mr. Biden previously said he succumbed to crack cocaine addiction after his brother’s death, and he began seeing his sister-in-law romantically around the same time.

She testified to prosecutors that Mr. Biden sent her messages in the days after the gun sale on Oct. 12, 2018. She alleges that Mr. Biden said he was “waiting for a dealer named Mookie” in one and that he was “sleeping on a car smoking crack” in another.

ACLU suing Milwaukee over protest zones during the Republican National Convention

The American Civil Liberties Union of Wisconsin is filing a lawsuit against the city of Milwaukee over protest zones during the Republican National Convention. The ACLU says the city is “severely restricting the rights of those seeking to protest.”

The lawsuit, brought on behalf of the Coalition to March on the RNC, argues that Milwaukee’s ordinances governing parade and protest activity directly violate the First Amendment by unlawfully limiting the locations where protesters can parade and exercise their right to free speech during the RNC.

Q1 Loan Origination Report: U.S. home mortgage lending declines again in 1st quarter …

ATTOM, a leading curator of land, property, and real estate data, today released its first-quarter 2024 U.S. Residential Property Mortgage Origination Report, which shows that 1.28 million mortgages secured by residential property (1 to 4 units) were issued in the United States during the first quarter, representing a 6.8 percent decline from the previous quarter. The drop-off marked the 11th in the last 12 quarters, to the lowest level since 2000.

The latest decline left total residential lending activity down 4.8 percent from a year earlier and 69.3 percent from a high point hit in 2021. It came amid another period of rising mortgage interest rates and elevated home prices unaffordable to significant portions of American households, on top of low supplies of homes for sale.

Ongoing decreases in lending activity during the first quarter resulted from losses in all major categories of residential lending. Purchase-loan activity went down another 9.9 percent quarterly, to about 565,000, while refinance deals dipped downward by 1.9 percent, to 491,000. Home-equity credit lines slipped 9 percent, to 222,000.

Home prices are falling in these four former boomtowns …

Home prices are falling in four former hotspots – as near-record housing costs push homebuyers away.

Three of the metros where prices are falling are in Texas, according to new insights from real estate company Redfin.

The sudden drop in values comes after millions of Americans fled to the state during the Covid-19 pandemic – pushing prices through the roof.

Social Security spending adds to the national debt …

At a recent congressional hearing, Representative Randy Feenstra (R‑IA) grilled witnesses on one fundamental point of disagreement regarding how Social Security works: Does Social Security spending add to the national debt? (Scroll down for the transcript of the exchange.)

The answer is yes because the US government did not save any of the excess payroll taxes the Treasury Department collected when Social Security was running a surplus. Instead, the US government turned around and spent those payroll taxes on other things.

While Social Security Chief Actuary Stephen Goss suggested at the hearing that “Social Security can only service some of the debt that the rest of the federal government develops,” Social Security surpluses have also fueled the growth in federal government borrowing. Several economic studies confirm that Social Security surpluses have historically not been used to reduce the public debt, but rather to increase non–Social Security government spending. Some estimates suggest a dollar‐for‐dollar ratio in higher spending, meaning that Social Security’s surplus payroll taxes increased non–Social Security government spending in direct proportion.

Study: Chiropractic care reduces opioid prescription for lower back pain by 68%!

Recent research highlights how spinal adjustments can significantly reduce dependency on pain medication such as the often prescribed tramadol.

Could spinal adjustments replace pain pills? Recent research suggests that chiropractic adjustments can significantly alleviate low back pain and reduce the need for tramadol, offering a non-drug option for managing sciatica pain.

Millions of Americans suffer from sciatica, a type of radicular low back pain that radiates down the leg. Often caused by compression or inflammation of a spinal nerve, sciatica can result in pain, loss of sensation, and impaired motor function. The discomfort typically follows the path of the nerve, extending from the lower back down to the calf or foot, depending on the severity of the condition.

Traditionally, tramadol has been the main prescription for managing this pain, seen as a milder alternative to stronger opioids. However, concerns have grown about tramadol’s long-term effects and the risk of dependency.

A recent study analyzing more than 115 million patient records from academic health centers offers new insights. Published in BMJ Open, the study shows that adults receiving chiropractic spinal manipulation (CSM) for newly diagnosed sciatica are less likely to be prescribed tramadol in the following year than those receiving standard medical care.

FDA RECALL WARNING: Agency issues recall notice on soda products sold across the U.S.!

Several soft drink products that were recalled earlier this year have now been classified by their risk level by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), according to notices posted on June 3.

The drinks were produced by Charles Boggini Company and include the Pink Lemonade, Yellow Lemonade, and Yellow Lemonade X. The firm’s website says that the products are not sold directly to consumers, but are distributed to other manufacturers and retailers.

One of the products, the Yellow Lemonade X, falls under a Class III recall for “undeclared undeclared FD&C Yellow No. 5,” said the FDA’s enforcement report. The Pink Lemonade and Yellow Lemonade fall under a Class II recall, with the Pink Lemonade being flagged for “undeclared FD&C Red No. 40” and the Yellow Lemonade containing “undeclared sulfites,” according to the FDA.

Experts Alert Doctors & the Public to the Arrival of Hard-to-Treat Fungal Skin Infections in the U.S.

Healthcare providers should watch out for new and highly contagious forms of ringworm or jock itch, which are emerging as a potential public health threat, according to a pair of reports.

In the first of the studies, experts at NYU Langone Health who focus on the spread of contagious rashes document the first reported case in the United States of a sexually transmitted fungal infection that can take months to clear up, even with treatment. In the second report, NYU Langone physicians partnered with authorities at the New York State Department of Health to describe the largest group of patients in the country with a similar fungal strain that resists standard therapies.

Both species of fungi are among a group that causes skin rashes, or tinea, which easily spread on the face and limbs (ringworm), groin (jock itch), and feet (athlete’s foot). However, the tinea explored in the new reports can look very different from the neat, regular circles seen in most forms of ringworm. They may instead be confused for lesions caused by eczema and can therefore go without proper treatment for months.

The first report, which published online on June 5 in the journal JAMA Dermatology, describes a man in his 30s who developed tinea on his penis, buttocks, and limbs after returning home to New York City from a trip to England, Greece, and California. Genetic tests of fungal samples collected from the patient’s rashes revealed that the infection was caused by the species Trichophyton mentagrophytes type VII (TMVII). This sexually transmitted form of ringworm has been increasingly diagnosed throughout Europe, with 13 instances reported in France in 2023, mostly in men who have sex with men. Notably, the man in the current study said he had sex with multiple male partners during his travels, none of whom reported similar skin issues.

“Healthcare providers should be aware that Trichophyton mentagrophytes type VII is the latest in a group of severe skin infections to have now reached the United States,” said study lead author and dermatologist Avrom S. Caplan, MD. Dr. Caplan is an assistant professor in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.

Note: Oregano oil has antifungal properties and can be used to treat ringworm. Apply a few drops of the oil to the affected area two to three times a day.

Oregano oil may be a more powerful antifungal than other commercial products that are available, and can inhibit and treat fungal skin infections, including athlete’s foot and ringworm.

The highest grade oregano oil can be found at www.thepowermall.comOreganol P73 Oil can be used to treat fungal diseases by taking internally and also applying externally.

FDA rescinds ban on Juul e-cigarettes; however, it doesn’t mean they’ll be marketed here!

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reversed its two-year ban on Juul’s e-cigarettes on Thursday.

The decision was made in response to new case law and the FDA’s review of the information Juul provided, the agency wrote in its public statement.

An FDA spokesperson told The Epoch Times that they could not expand on what case law the FDA is referring to.

Antibiotic found to increase deaths in sepsis patients!

Hospital records show Zosyn is more likely to lead to death than other treatments for sepsis.

Researchers at the Veterans Affairs Ann Arbor Healthcare System and the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor found a widely used antibiotic for the treatment of sepsis was more likely to be associated with mortality than another treatment.

A period of shortage of the antibiotic Zosyn—trade name piperacillin-tazobactam—was used by researchers to help determine the death rate associated with it. Bacterial sepsis patients who received Zosyn were 5 percent more likely to die within 90 days than those treated with cefepime, an antibiotic in a different class. Zosyn is commonly used to treat stomach infections, skin and uterine infections, and pneumonia.

SURVEILLANCE STATE

Cognitive warfare, mental manipulation, tyranny of digital transformation …

Technocracy’s official definition starts with “Technocracy is the science of social engineering.” Because a digital prison is distasteful for most people, it is necessary to condition them to accept their enslavement; in other words, a little bit of cognitive warfare goes a long way. When a person is captured by this process, he can be made to think – not just parrot – like the captor. ⁃ TN Editor

A centuries-old plan to control humanity on a micro-level is being enforced through the construction of a new bio-digital prison system. Relegated to mere conspiracy theory by legacy media and vehemently denied by accused conspirators, the plan continues unabated with only pockets of resistance — nowhere near enough to bring the house of cards down.

The plan has been identified by many throughout the decades. It is both simple and complex; subtle yet overt; ancient yet contemporary; and alluring yet appalling. Under the guise of safety, convenience, and inclusion, humanity is being primed to accept complete and total surveillance as a condition of simple existence in a “brave new world.” That’s the plan in a nutshell. What follows are the gory details.

Virginia will exit California electric vehicle mandate

Virginia will stop following California’s standards for car emissions that would’ve required every new car sold in Virginia be fully electric by 2035, Gov. Youngkin announced Wednesday.

Why it matters: Youngkin’s announcement could draw legal challenges because of a 2021 state law that’s still on the books, despite Republican lawmakers’ efforts to repeal it the past two years, Virginia Mercury reports.

Catch up quick: Lawmakers passed a law in 2021 aligning Virginia’s car emissions standards with California’s as part of a clean-energy push.

Backyard Flock Prep: Worms in chickens …

Upon hearing the phrase “worms in chickens,” most people get a little squigged out. Right?  I know I do.  But what if I use the word helminth?  Nematode?  Annelid?  Do these words sound better?  No?  And, why?  Well, because they all mean worm.

Yes.  Those wiggly, squiggly, squirmy things.  But not the ones that dangle on the end of our fishing poles, or the ones that get cozy in our garden beds.  The worms I’m talking about are parasitic worms – the ones that can infect your backyard chickens and cause problems for your home egg and meat production.

First, you should know that worms are a very common parasite in backyard chickens.  And at low loads, chickens are just fine.  It’s when intestinal parasite loads become severe that you will start to see the effects on your flock.  Worms in chickens are a hot topic.

In fact, a recent review of online searches inquiring about chicken worms showed that there were almost 10,000 requests for more information — does my chicken have worms, what are the types of worms parasitizing my chickens, how do I identify them, and how do I get rid of worms in my chickens?  So, we are here to provide answers to these questions and more.

Keep your coop and chicken yard clean

  • Bedding needs to be clean and dry and changed regularly
  • Clean and sanitize the coop before introducing new poultry
  • Clean waterers daily
  •  Avoid overcrowding
  • Control flies in and around your coop.  They can be a host for tapeworms.

  Practice good biosecurity

  • Clean and sanitize any equipment that you use in and around the coop regularly
  • Get your chickens moving – if your flock has had a worm infestation, move them to new land through use of a mobile coop or chicken tractor.  This gives you an opportunity to clean the infested area.  Manure buildup increases the eventuality that you will have a significant load of parasites, viruses, and bacteria.  And, if your chickens are mobile (free ranging or in a moveable coop, you can incorporate them into your rotational grazing.
  • Quarantine new chickens before exposing them to your flock.  This gives you the opportunity to ensure that your new birds are healthy before adding them to your coop.
  • Prevent wild birds and animals from getting to your chickens.  Wild birds can be heavily infested with all sorts of pathogens.  Netting, hardware cloth, and chicken wire can help minimize exposure.
  • Monitor your flock!  Interacting with your chickens regularly allows you the opportunity to see who is thriving and who is not.
  • Wash your hands after handling anything in the coop. Sanitize your boots between livestock areas.

2ND AMENDMENT

Second Amendment Foundation pledges litigation on Trump’s behalf if his concealed carry permit is revoked!

On Thursday, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) pledged to litigate on Donald Trump’s behalf if the NYPD revokes his concealed carry permit.

On Wednesday, Breitbart News reported that the NYPD was preparing to revoke Donald Trump’s concealed carry permit following the numerous felony convictions handed down by the jury last week.

CNN pointed out the permit was actually suspended on April 1, 2023, following Trump’s indictment on various charges. And the New York Times noted an investigation into the matter is underway by the NYPD and it is anticipated that Trump’s permit will be revoked once it ends.

Alex Jones to convert his bankruptcy into a Chapter 7 liquidation to pay Sandy Hook families!

Radio host Alex Jones asked a U.S. judge Thursday to convert his bankruptcy into a Chapter 7 liquidation, dropping an effort to settle massive legal judgments related to his comments about the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.

Reuters reports Jones believes “there is no reasonable prospect of a successful reorganization” of his debts, most of which stem from $1.5 billion awarded in defamation lawsuits, his attorneys said in a court filing.

A Chapter 7 liquidation would not allow Jones to escape paying the legal judgments, but it offers a streamlined procedure for selling his personal assets under the supervision of a court-appointed trustee.

Courts in Texas and Connecticut have respectively ordered Jones to pay $1.5 billion to the relatives of 20 students and six staff members killed in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook, the Reuters report notes.

Bankruptcy can be used to wipe out debts and legal judgments, but the judge overseeing Jones’ case ruled in October that most of the defamation verdicts cannot be legally discharged because they resulted from “willful and malicious injury” caused by Jones.

The move comes after Jones warned Saturday that Infowars might be shut down sooner rather than later, as Breitbart News reported.

Jones said, “This is going to be Infowars’ last show, because I learned yesterday that they were going to padlock the door and kick us out last night.”

Related story: Alex Jones agrees to liquidate his assets to pay Sandy Hook families, in move that would end his ownership of Infowars

The seismic move paves the way for a future in which Jones no longer owns Infowars, the influential conspiracy empire he founded in the late 1990s. Over the years, Jones has not only used the media company to poison the public discourse with vile lies and conspiracy theories, but also to enrich himself to the tune of millions of dollars.

The legal maneuver ultimately “means [Jones’] ownership in Free Speech Systems is going to get sold,” Avi Moshenberg, an attorney who represents some of the Sandy Hook families, told CNN on Thursday night, referencing the parent company of Infowars.

Jones technically has not controlled the Infowars business for some time, given that Free Speech Systems has also filed for bankruptcy protection. The company’s business has, thus, been under the supervision of a court appointed restructuring officer.

A hearing is scheduled for next Friday to determine the fate of Free Speech Systems’ bankruptcy.

Peter Navarro speaks from behind bars in Joe Biden’s prison; warns of unrestrained lawfare!

Peter Navarro, the former top economic aide in former President Donald Trump’s White House, who is currently languishing in federal prison serving a multi-month sentence for having stood up against subpoenas from the January 6 committee last Congress, is speaking out now from behind bars in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News.

Navarro, who was the director of Trump’s White House’s National Trade Council, is 74 years old and is currently incarcerated in a federal prison in Miami. He is on track to be released in mid-July, around the time of his 75th birthday.

Senate Republicans Accuse FCC of Being ‘De Facto Arm’ of Biden Campaign for Advancing Election-Year AI Advertising Regulations

Senate Republicans on Thursday accused the Democrat majority at the FCC of acting as a “de facto arm” of the Biden campaign for advancing AI regulations during an election year, Breitbart News learned exclusively.

Sen. John Thune (R-SD) led a letter, which was obtained by Breitbart News, with Sens. Eric Schmitt (R-MO), Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Mitch McConnell (R-KY), to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, as the Democrat majority at the agency has moved to regulate artificial intelligence (AI) in political advertising.

Teen brothers launch booming business turning junk into cash in Massachusetts!

The booming business owner had to hurry to explain the workings of his operations—his final exam was one hour from now.

Kirk McKinney, 20, turns junk into treasure by removing it for cash alongside his younger brother and business partner, Jacob McKinney, 18, who just graduated from high school. They live in Needham, Massachusetts, where they own three $80,000 dump trucks, run a boisterous and brawny young crew, and haul around 30 jobs a week. The McKinney brothers are awash with junk and profit.

And it all started with a trip to the dump in 2019.

The Senate Republicans said the move raises serious “statutory and constitutional concerns” and that the agency should police political advertising, especially ahead of a contentious presidential election. The lawmakers also made it clear that the proposal would enact onerous regulations on cable companies and broadcasters and not “unregulated” big tech companies.

“Rather than favoring certain political speech and interfering in the election, we urge you to abandon this dangerous proposal that threatens to tip the scales of free speech in our nation,” the Senate Republicans noted.

hune, Schmitt, Cruz, and McConnell are not the only ones concerned about the FCC proposal; they noted the Federal Election Commission (FEC) has raised concerns about the proposal as well.

Sean Cooksey, the chairman of the FEC, wrote to Rosenworcel this week, charging that they are infringing on the FEC’s jurisdiction to regulate election policy.

Cooksey explained:

Congress vested the FEC with the sole authority to interpret, administer, and enforce the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended. This includes the disclaimer and reporting requirements specific to political communications set out under federal law. Indeed, federal courts of appeals have upheld the FEC’s unique authority to regulate political disclaimers against other agencies’ attempts to circumvent or supplement our rules, concluding that “the FEC is the exclusive administrative arbiter of questions concerning the name identifications and disclaimers” for political communications. Consequently, I maintain that the FCC lacks the legal authority to promulgate conflicting disclaimers requirements only for political communications.

Cooksey also said Rosenworcel’s plan to have the regulations enacted before the 2024 election would cause “confusion and disarray” among political campaigns, and ultimately stifle free speech.

Charleston, South Carolina’s Ravenel Bridge closed temporarily; ship out of control!

Joro Spiders: What to know about them as they continue to spread in the U.S. Northeast!

A large cargo ship lost control of its engines and went nearly full throttle through a South Carolina harbor, prompting the closure of one of the busiest bridges in the state.

The incident comes after an out-of-control cargo ship smashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore on 26 March after losing power, bringing the span down and killing six construction workers.

Harbor pilots in Charleston on Wednesday were able to help the nearly 1,000ft (300-meter) ship, which was going nearly 20mph (32km/h), get under the Ravenel Bridge safely and eventually anchor several miles offshore while the Coast Guard investigates, said Randy Preston, commander of the US Coast Guard’s Charleston section.

Police cleared traffic, cyclists and pedestrians from the eight-lane bridge before the ship arrived, keeping it closed for 10 minutes as the Michigan 7 steamed underneath, authorities said.

The only damage was caused by the giant ship’s wake, which knocked aground a small boat and caused minor injuries to two people, Preston said.

The ship is registered in Liberia to Mediterranean Shipping Company, which did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment. It was heading to Savannah, Georgia, from Charleston’s port.
