France to Look to Import Energy from Britain and Others as Winter Power Cuts Loom

It is a very real possibility that France will see rolling power cuts this winter and will seek to import energy from Britain and other European neighbours to try and cope, the head of the nation’s public electricity company said on Thursday.

Amid continuing failures with the French nuclear reactor fleet, which is currently running at around half of capacity, the chairman of Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) Xavier Piechaczyk said that currently there will be at least a few days during the winter in which the red alert signaling potential cuts will be in effect.

Too Late? Foolish Decision to Close Britain’s Biggest Gas Storage Site Reversed Amid Crisis

Rough, a gigantic British gas storage facility in the North Sea which the government allowed to go to the wall in 2017, is being gradually brought back to life as the energy crisis bites.

North Sea gas storage site Rough had accounted for an astonishing 70 per cent of Britain’s relatively unimpressive gas storage capacity at the time of its closure — a strategic resilience issue in itself, given the ‘all eggs in one basket’ situation it left the country in — with operator Centrica estimating the loss of the “cushion” energy supply it provided ended up costing customers around £88 each, or £2.4 billion in total, last winter.

United Nations Adopts Resolution Calling Israel’s Founding a ‘Catastrophe’

The UN General Assembly this week passed a resolution to characterize the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948 as a “catastrophe,” in what has been heralded as a major victory for pro-Palestinian activists.

The word “Nakba,” which means catastrophe or disaster in Arabic, was also a term coined by the Palestinians to commemorate the Jewish state’s founding.

Great Reset: Germany Bans Farmers from Properly Fertilising Land to Serve EU Green Agenda

Germany has banned farmers in one of its federal states from properly fertilising large swathes of land at the behest of the EU’s green agenda.

As of Thursday, the use of nitrate fertilisers has been greatly restricted for large swathes of farmland in North Rhine-Westphalia, with the green agenda change greatly angering farmers as it is likely to drastically reduce yields.

Trilateral Commission Related Think Tank Pushes $1 Trillion To Rebuild Ukraine

ZeroHedge reports that:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a video address on Tuesday estimated it will cost more than $1 trillion to rebuild his country following the Russian assault, now over nine months in. If this number sounds absolutely shocking and unrealistic… it is, given this would be five times Ukraine’s entire GDP.

“The reconstruction of our country will become the most momentous economic, technological, and humanitarian project of our time. Even now, we engage dozens of our partner countries to rebuild Ukraine,” Zelensky said during his nightly video address Tuesday, translated by Newsweek. “The total volume of work amounts to over a trillion dollars.”

Further down in the article, it is mentioned that the Center for Strategic Studies (CSIS) is the “think tank” in question. CSIS is one of the premier agglomerations of Trilateral Commission members in the United States, with no less than six Trustees belonging to the “founding fathers” of the “New International Economic Order”, aka Technocracy, back in 1973. They are:

  • Carla Hills
  • Mellody Hobson
  • John Hess
  • Henry Kissinger
  • Joseph Nye
  • Francis Townsend

Notably, the former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Paul Ryan, is also a Trustee of CSIS. He is not a member of the Commission, however.

Exclusive — Mitch McConnell Blocked from Moving Media Cartel Bill JCPA via Hotline

Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell tried to move through the U.S. Senate a highly controversial plan called the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA) using a procedure called a “hotline,” Breitbart News has learned.

Before the close of business on Thursday, at least two GOP senators–including Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR)–objected to the effort and put a hold on the push. To stop a bill from being passed unanimously through the Senate via the “hotline” track, only one senator needs to object. Sources told Breitbart News that more Republican senators are racing to express opposition to the proposal, and they expect more holds to be placed in the coming hours and days ahead.

Arizona County Certifies Election Results After Bucking Deadline, GOP Seat Flip Scare

An Arizona county’s three-person board of supervisors certified the county election results Thursday after a court order and after the board’s certification delay sparked fears that the uncertified results could flip a Republican-won congressional seat.

Pima County Superior Court Judge Casey McGinley ordered the Cochise County board, comprising two Republicans and one Democrat, to convene on Thursday and certify the results by 5:00 p.m. local time, per the Arizona Republic.

The order came after the two Republicans on the board expressed concerns about whether ballot tabulation machines were legal to use and proceeded to delay certification.

“Our small counties, we’re just sick and tired of getting kicked around and not being respected,” one of the Republicans, Peggy Judd, told the New York Times on November 28, the day the certification was due.

Judd and the Democrat board member met Thursday and voted 2–0 to certify the results. The other Republican member, Tom Crosby, did not attend the meeting, the Arizona Republic reported.

Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs (D), the current secretary of state, had threatened to certify the state results, which must be done by December 8, without including Cochise County’s votes, which would have theoretically changed the results of the Sixth Congressional District race.

Appeals Court Stops Special Master Review of Documents Seized at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Estate

A federal appeals court on Thursday has put a stop to a special master’s external review of the thousands of documents seized from former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate.

The ruling comes after a panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit heard from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Trump’s lawyers on Nov. 22 regarding the government’s motion to remove U.S. District Judge Raymond Dearie as special master.

This appointment of a special master by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, barred the DOJ from getting their hands on the documents as they pursued a criminal investigation into Trump “pending resolution” of the review.

The federal appeals court ruled that Cannon had no jurisdiction to exercise what’s known as equitable jurisdiction—or the authority of the court to act in the interest of fairness—in this scenario where an indictment hadn’t been announced and without showing that the seizure of documents was unlawful.

Ron DeSantis Hammers Disney as CEO Bob Iger Regrets Anti-Groomer Bill Fight: ‘They Brought This on Themselves’

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is firing back at the Walt Disney Company’s returning CEO, Bob Iger, who lamented the entertainment giant was somehow unwillingly “dragged” into a political fight in the Sunshine State over the “Parental Rights in Education” bill.

DeSantis made the remarks during an interview Tuesday evening with Fox News’s Tucker Carlson.

Florida Pulls $2 Billion from BlackRock in Largest Anti-ESG Divestment

Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis announced on Thursday that the state would start to pull $2 billion in assets away from BlackRock due to the state’s opposition to the company’s major push into Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies.

The CFO’s $2 billion divestment is the most significant anti-ESG divestment to date, as Republican states have started to take a stand against this type of leftist activism in financial investing.

Mac and cheese isn’t really ready in 3.5 minutes, lawsuit claims

A Florida woman has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that the Kraft Heinz Foods Co. misled consumers when it claimed that its Velveeta Shells & Cheese product is “ready in 3.5 minutes.”

The Nov. 18 would-be class action says the 3.5 minutes represents the time to microwave the product, which is one of four steps that consumers must take before the shells and cheese are ready to eat.

Consumers must also remove the lid and cheese sauce pouch; add water to the cup and stir; and, after microwaving, stir in the cheese sauce. Consumers also learn that the cheese sauce will “thicken upon standing.”

The deceptive claim allows the Kraft Heinz Foods Co. to charge a premium price for the product, the suit says.

Consumer Amanda Ramirez of Hialeah, Florida, filed the suit in the U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida. She is represented by the Wright Law Office and Sheehan & Associates. The latter law firm has filed more than 400 lawsuits alleging deceptive labeling of food products, according to a June 2022 ABA Journal article.

The suit alleges violation of Florida laws regarding unfair trade practices, consumer fraud and misleading advertising. It also alleges breach of warranty, negligent misrepresentation, fraud and unjust enrichment.

The Washington Post covered the lawsuit.

The Kraft Heinz Foods Co. told the Washington Post in a statement that the lawsuit is frivolous, and the company will “strongly defend against the allegations.”

Job Growth Shatters Expectations In November As Labor Market Stays Tight

The U.S. added 263,000 jobs in November, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Friday, accelerating slightly from the 261,000 in October, as unemployment held steady at 3.7%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The number shot past investors’ expectations, with economists polled by Dow Jones predicting that the market had added 200,000 jobs in November, according to CNBC.  A cooling labor market might convince the Federal Reserve to slow its aggressive campaign of interest rate hikes, since reduced demand for workers would help reign in historically high inflation, according to CNN. “The market is increasingly pricing in a 50-basis point hike but that might be premature – nominal incomes are still growing at a fast clip and core inflation is still quite high, although the Fed has become so unpredictable that it’s anyone’s guess,” Heritage Foundation economist E.J. Antoni told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Don’t forget that Powell said a 75-bps hike was off the table and then delivered four of them in a row.”

Elon Musk Says Neuralink Is Almost Ready to Implant Brain Chips that No One Thinks Are Good for Society

Elon Musk’s brain chip company Neuralink aims to start implanting its brain implants into human patients within six months. A Pew poll in early 2022 found that only 13 percent of Americans believe that Musk’s brain chips will be good for society.

Bloomberg reports that Neuralink, Elon Musk’s brain-computer interface firm, said at a Wednesday evening event at its headquarters that it plans to begin putting its coin-sized computing brain implant into human patients in six months. This news comes despite the fact that an overwhelming majority of America think slapping a computer chip inside the human brain is a terrible idea for society.

Musk: Robots Will Perform Brain Implant Surgery As Outpatient Procedure

At an event at its Fremont, California headquarters on Wednesday night, Elon Musk’s Neuralink Corp. announced that it is hoping to start inserting its coin-sized computing brain implant into human patients within six months.

According to Bloomberg, the brain-computer interface (BCI), will “allow a person with a debilitating condition — such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or the aftereffects of a stroke — to communicate via their thoughts.”

The CEO of Twitter and owner of Tesla wrote on the social media platform Wednesday night in response to a write up by the outlet about the device, “We are now confident that the Neuralink device is ready for humans, so timing is a function of working through the FDA approval process.”

Biden Has Handed America Over To The Biodefense Cartel

On the heels of Biden’s September 12th Executive Order titled The National Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Initiative, I wrote two days later that it “is a complete capitulation of our government to Big Pharma, the biotechnology industry and the entire transhuman cabal that wants to create Humanity 2.0 by changing our genetic structure.”

The Initiative literally opens the floodgates of taxpayer resources and turns over government control to the biotech and Big Pharma industry. Some highlights include:

  • “We need to develop genetic engineering technologies and techniques to be able to write circuitry for cells and predictably program biology in the same way in which we write software and program computers; unlock the power of biological data, including through computing tools and artificial intelligence; and advance the science of scale-up production while reducing the obstacles for commercialization so that innovative technologies and products can reach markets faster.”
  • “bolster and coordinate Federal investment in key research and development (R&D) areas of biotechnology and biomanufacturing in order to further societal goals”
  • “Building a Vibrant Domestic Biomanufacturing Ecosystem.”
  • “expand training and education opportunities for all Americans in biotechnology and biomanufacturing.”
  • “Federal investments in biological sciences, biotechnology, and biomanufacturing to enhance biosafety and biosecurity best practices throughout the bioeconomy R&D enterprise.”

In sum, our nation has become the vassal of the biodefense cartel to finance its R&D, build its manufacturing capacity and train workers to fill its factories. What’s wrong with this picture?

Don’t Trust Zuck: Facebook Failed to Block Ads Containing Death Threats to Election Workers

While social media giants are known for acting quickly and without hesitation to censor certain information being posted during election season — such as the bombshell news story about Hunter Biden’s infamous “laptop from hell” — Facebook reportedly failed to block ads containing death threats to election workers ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.

Facebook failed to block 75 percent of ads “explicitly calling for violence against and killing of US election workers” ahead of the midterm elections, according to an investigation by Global Witness and the New York University Tandon School of Engineering’s Cybersecurity for Democracy (C4D) team.

How Vitamin C Is Effective in Treating Inflammatory Issues Analysis by Dr. Joseph MercolaFact Checked

Vitamin C is an essential water-soluble nutrient that evidence shows helps protect fat-soluble vitamin E in individuals with cystic fibrosis, an inflammatory condition that affects the lungs and gastrointestinal tract

Researchers believe the data can be extrapolated to other inflammatory conditions as vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, helps to protect your skin from sun-related damage and vitamin E-rich foods may help protect against some types of cancers

Vitamin C is a crucial component in the treatment of sepsis developed by Dr. Paul Marik that lowered the risk of mortality from 40.4% to 8.5% in one study and has demonstrated effectiveness in pediatric sepsis

Chronic inflammation can contribute to the development of cancer. Early studies demonstrated vitamin C could be a candidate for cancer treatment and to help ameliorate symptoms

National Cancer Institute believes current preclinical studies support the implementation of vitamin C in treatment as it may help lower the cost to patients and improve symptoms

13 Cancers Are Related to This One Physical Condition, and It’s Only Increasing

Studies have found that many cancers are related to obesity. Nowadays, more and more people are becoming obese. However, doing two things can easily achieve the effect of cancer prevention and weight loss.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), obesity will increase the risk of 13 types of cancer, and these cancers account for 40 percent of all cancers diagnosed in the United States each year, including breast cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer (esophageal adenocarcinoma), pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, gallbladder cancer, thyroid cancer, meningioma (a type of brain cancer), and multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer).

Increased Risk

Compared to those with normal weight, the risk for several cancers increases substantially for those who are obese or overweight:

  • Endometrial cancer: The risk is seven times higher for those with severe obesity, and two to four times higher for those who are obese or overweight.
  • Esophageal cancer (esophageal adenocarcinoma): The risk is 4.8 times higher for severely obese people and 1.5 to three times higher for obese or overweight people.
  • Stomach cancer (gastric cancer): The risk is twice as high for obese people.
  • Liver cancer: The risk is twice as high for obese or overweight people.
  • Kidney cancer: The risk is twice as high for obese or overweight people.
  • Pancreatic cancer: the risk is 1.5 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Colorectal cancer: The risk is 1.3 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Gallbladder cancer: The risk is 1.6 times greater for obese people and 1.2 times greater for overweight people.
  • Meningioma: The risk is 1.5 times greater for obese people and 1.2 times greater for overweight people.
  • Breast cancer (after menopause): The risk is 1.2 to 1.4 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Thyroid cancer: The risk is 1.2 to 1.3 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Multiple myeloma: The risk is 1.1 to 1.2 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Ovarian cancer: The risk increases 1.1 times for every five-point increase in body mass index (BMI).

New Study on Vitamin D Combating COVID

Researchers from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Chicago and the Department of Veterans Health Affairs conducted a large-scale pharmacoepidemiologic study of the association between vitamin D and COVID-19 infection and mortality

Those who took vitamin D2 supplements had a 28% lower risk of COVID-19 infection, while those taking vitamin D3 had a 20% lower risk

Death from COVID-19 was also lower among those taking vitamin D — 33% lower among those taking vitamin D3 and 25% lower among those taking vitamin D2

If the entire U.S. population in 2020 had supplemented with vitamin D3, it would have prevented 4 million COVID-19 cases and 116,000 deaths

I strongly recommend getting your vitamin D from proper sun exposure if possible, as it will provide numerous other benefits, many of which are only beginning to be understood

Vitamins C and D Finally Adopted as Coronavirus Treatment

Vitamins C and D were adopted in the conventional treatment of novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. This fortunate turn of events is likely to save thousands of lives, while keeping health care costs down

During the pandemic, seriously ill coronavirus patients in New York state’s largest hospital system received 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C three to four times a day, in conjunction with other conventional treatments

Vitamin C at extremely high doses acts as an antiviral drug, actually killing viruses

In recent articles, former CDC chief Dr. Tom Frieden and Dr. John C. Umhau, a public health specialist at NIH, highlight the usefulness of sun exposure and/or vitamin D supplementation to reduce your risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection

Although vitamin D does not appear to have a direct effect on viruses, it does strengthen immune function, thus allowing the host body to combat the virus more effectively. It also suppresses inflammatory processes

Musk Meets Apple’s Tim Cook, Gives Critical Update on App Store Twitter Ban ‘Misunderstanding’

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he met with Apple CEO Tim Cook and the two resolved the issue of Twitter potentially being cut from Apple’s App Store, which Musk had earlier identified as a threat facing the social media giant.

Musk said in a post on Twitter late Wednesday that he and Cook had a “good conversation” and that they “resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App Store.”

“Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so,” Musk added.

Musk also shared a brief video clip of a pond at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, saying in the caption that Cook had shown him around the “beautiful” site.

100 Farmers, Neighbors Help Harvest Iowa Farmer’s Crops After He Died Suddenly From Cancer

When an Iowa farmer died suddenly and unexpectedly from lung cancer, his neighbors rallied together within days to reap the corn crops he left behind. His family, deeply humbled, are grateful for the tight-knit community that showed their love and saved their harvest.

Born and raised in Creston, Iowa, Paul Baker farmed around 500 acres of land, raising beef cattle, soybeans, and corn. Nobody, including Paul and his wife of 46 years, Lynn Baker, had any idea Paul was battling cancer.

After he became seriously ill in March, his health never improved. “He didn’t ever get his breath back, and [had] no energy,” his wife, Lynn, 68, told The Epoch Times. “We finally went to the doctor about a month ago.”

With fluid already on his lungs, a biopsy brought more foreboding news: lung cancer. “He passed away about four days later,” Lynn said. “We didn’t expect it to be anything like that … I think we were all very sad and shocked.”

A devout Catholic, Paul placed his faith in God but was “just aggravated that he didn’t feel better,” his wife said. He kept farming up until the day he was admitted to the hospital, and died on Oct. 20 at the age of 66.

Their daughter Melissa Baker said, “The community knew something was wrong … farmers and friends had already worked with my uncle John to harvest the soybeans while he was in the hospital. They just volunteered, nobody asked them to do it … that’s what happened with the corn, too.”

When the Bakers’ community learned Paul had passed, they called Don, the husband of John and Melissa’s sister Meredith, who plans to take over the farm, offering to help in any way they could.

“By the time we went to the visitation and the service, I think we had a huge spreadsheet of all these different teams of farmers,” Melissa said, who lives three hours away in Cedar Rapids. “They just wanted to help my dad because he would do it for anybody else.”

On Oct. 27, two days after Paul’s funeral, some 30 combine harvesters, 38 semis, and countless tractors and buggies arrived on the Bakers’ land before sunrise. Melissa guessed some 100 people lent their time, equipment, love, and labor for a full day’s work harvesting crops.

Local businesses donated breakfast and lunches to the farmers, and children from nearby St. Malachy Catholic School, where Paul’s granddaughters attend, decorated lunch bags and crafted thank you letters. Melissa tried to visit every field to thank them personally and was quickly overwhelmed.

‘You mean we have to feed these people?’ Remark part of judge’s ‘habitual intemperance,’ ethics complaint says

A Georgia judge is facing a 58-count ethics complaint alleging that he made improper gender-based and intemperate comments, tried to influence cases involving acquaintances, and participated in a promotional video and Facebook fundraiser for a children’s advocacy center.

Judge Robert Reeves of Georgia was charged in a Nov. 16 ethics complaint filed by the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission.

The alleged conduct “amounts to willful misconduct in office, habitual intemperance and is prejudicial to the administration of justice bringing the judicial office into disrepute,” said Charles P. Boring, director of the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission, in the complaint.

Reeves is the chief judge for the Georgia Middle Judicial Circuit Superior Court, which covers Candler, Emanuel, Jefferson, Toombs and Washington counties.
