America’s Civil War Rising – The nephew of George Floyd, Cortez Rice was arrested this past week, and rightly so.
Rice was arrested in Waukesha in connection with his juror intimidation in the trials. He was charged with felony harassment and tampering with a juror or retaliating against a judicial officer.
No one is sure why he was even in Waukesha, but you know that this was where six people were killed and dozens were injured last month after Darrell Brooks drove his SUV through a Christmas parade.

Twitter Suspends Key mRNA Vaccine Contributor Dr. Robert Malone
Epoch TImes – Dr. Robert Malone, a key contributor to mRNA vaccine technology and an outspoken critic of COVID-19 mandates and rules, was suspended by Twitter.
Writing on his Substack page, Malone, who had massed more than 500,000 followers, confirmed that his account was “permanently suspended from Twitter” and said, “We all knew it would happen eventually.”
“Over a half million followers gone in a blink of an eye. That means I must have been on the mark, so to speak,” he wrote on Dec. 29. “Over the target. It also means we lost a critical component in our fight to stop these vaccines being mandated for children and to stop the corruption in our governments, as well as the medical-industrial complex and pharmaceutical industries.”
According to Malone’s post, he directed users to read his Substack page for future updates. Meanwhile, he’s slated to appear on comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan’s podcast on Dec. 30.
“Substack is absolutely the best way to see my writings. I appreciate everyone’s support in signing up for my newsletter. It truly matters to me,” he wrote in the post.
When attempting to access Malone’s page, it gives the boilerplate Twitter suspension message: “Account suspended. Twitter suspends accounts that violate the Twitter rules.”
The San Francisco-based social media firm hasn’t issued a public comment yet on why it suspended Malone’s account, or specifically what post drew the company’s ire. Twitter has not responded to a request by The Epoch Times for comment by press time.
Malone told The Epoch Times on Wednesday evening that Twitter provided him with no advance notice before it handed down the suspension.

Dr. Peter McCullough: Vaccine Mandates Should Be Repealed
Epoch Times – COVID-19 vaccine mandates “have to be repealed” as the vaccines are “still in research” and “people cannot be mandated to participate in research,” says Dr. Peter McCullough.
McCullough, a cardiologist, epidemiologist, and internist who manages COVID-19 patients with heart-related complications and patients who become ill after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, contends that COVID-19 vaccine mandates violate the Nuremberg Code.
“When it comes to research, research can only be voluntary. And under no circumstances can anyone receive any pressure, coercion, or threat of reprisal—cannot. It violates the cornerstone of ethics; it’s unethical, it’s immoral to do that,” he says.
McCullough notes that the CDC and FDA have yet to publish “their first monthly safety report” on the vaccines, and that as of Dec. 17, the CDC’s VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System) has reported 20,622 deaths post-vaccination globally and over 983,000 adverse events.
While VAERS has issued a disclaimer discouraging the interpretation of its data “to reach conclusions about existence, severity, frequency, or rates of problems associated with vaccines,” McCullough says that the system’s death reports deserve serious attention.
He cites a June 2021 analysis of VAERS COVID-19 vaccine death reports led by the University of London’s Scott Mclachlan. Mclachlan found that “contrary to claims that most of these reports are made by lay-people and are hence clinically unreliable,” health service employees were the reporters at least 67 percent of the time, and “there were only 14 percent of the cases for which a vaccine reaction could be ruled out as a contributing factor in their death.”
COVID-19 vaccines commonly used in the United States use genetic mechanisms to install genetic material into cells, and then the cells produce the spike protein of the virus, says McCullough. “That’s the mechanism of the spike protein, it’s the dangerous and lethal part of the virus.”
The “uncontrolled quantity and duration of spike protein” produced by the vaccine in the human body “almost certainly is the proximate cause of death,” according to McCullough.
McCullough said that the data satisfy all five of the Bradford Hill criteria, a framework scientists use to work out whether one thing is causing another. In this case, because COVID-19 vaccination data satisfies the Bradford Hill principles, McCullough says that reported deaths are highly likely caused by COVID-19 vaccinations.
McCullough also mentioned the “non-fatal events that just go right along” with COVID-19 deaths which makes it more plausible that the vaccines are causing adverse reactions and in turn, deaths.
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Reinstates COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
Epoch Times – The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), in a policy reversal, announced on Dec. 28 that it would start enforcing its COVID-19 vaccine mandate to facilities in half the U.S. states, where the mandate hasn’t been judicially enjoined.
CMS modified the compliance dates for the vaccine mandates. Facilities that receive Medicaid or Medicare funding must comply with the mandate’s first phase, meaning that all health care staff has to have received the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine by Jan. 27, 2022—or 30 days after the CMS memorandum (pdf) was issued.
Those facilities will have to comply with the CMS mandate’s second phase, meaning health care workers need to receive the second dose by Feb. 28, 2022, according to the memo.
Earlier this month, a CMS spokesperson told The Epoch Times that it suspended enforcement of the vaccine mandate for health care workers “pending future developments in litigation.” It came after several courts issued injunctions against the rule.
But now, according to its latest directive, a health care facility will have to show that “policies and procedures are developed and implemented for ensuring all facility staff” under the agency’s mandate “regardless of clinical responsibility or patient or resident contact are vaccinated for COVID-19,” the memo stipulates.
The facility also must show that “100 percent of staff have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, or have a pending request for, or have been granted a qualifying exemption, or identified as having a temporary delay as recommended by the [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention],” CMS’s directive says.
If fewer than 100 percent of staff are compliant with the mandate, “the facility is non-compliant under the rule,” according to CMS. “The facility will receive notice of their non-compliance with the 100 percent standard. A facility that is above 80 percent and has a plan to achieve a 100 percent staff vaccination rate within 60 days would not be subject to additional enforcement action.”
Under the mandate, a facility that isn’t in compliance with the rule will be at risk of losing its federal Medicare or Medicaid funding.
Biden Administration Takes Down Post on ‘Potential Terrorist’ Apprehended at Southern Border
Epoch Times – President Joe Biden’s administration has deleted a social media post that informed the public that a “potential terrorist” had been apprehended this month at the U.S.–Mexico border.
Chris Clem, a top Border Patrol agent, posted pictures on Twitter last week showing the man who was apprehended.
Clem included the man’s age (21), his country of origin (Saudi Arabia), and said the male was “linked to several Yemeni subjects of interest.”
But Clem’s post was taken down recently, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which includes Border Patrol, confirmed to The Epoch Times on Dec. 29.
“All individuals encountered at or between U.S. ports of entry are screened and vetted against a broad range of law enforcement and intelligence information to determine if they pose a threat to national security or public safety, consistent with the law. CBP is continuing to investigate the matter following its standard protocols. This may include referral, if appropriate, to other relevant law enforcement entities for further investigation and a custody determination,” Luis Miranda, CBP’s public affairs assistant commissioner, said in an emailed statement.
“A December 20, 2021, tweet on the matter has since been deleted as it contained law enforcement sensitive information, violating agency protocols,” he added.
A similar situation played out in April when CBP announced that two Yemeni nationals on the FBI’s Terrorism Watch List were apprehended at the border. In that case, the agency issued a statement detailing the arrests.
That release was pulled within days.
Technocrat Success: Lockdowns Positively Correlated With Higher Death Rate, Economic Destruction
Technocracy News – Lockdowns were one of the “greatest peacetime policy disasters of all time,” concludes Professor Douglas Allen in a paper just published by the International Journal of the Economics of Business.
Elsewhere, a team of researchers with the National Bureau of Economic Research “failed to find” any evidence that lockdowns led to a reduction in the covid death rate. In fact, the researchers—who examined data from forty-three countries and all US states—found that lockdowns were positively correlated with a higher total death rate. That preventing people from engaging in work, school, and socialization would cause widespread suffering is hardly surprising. Sadly, Nevadans are all too familiar with this fact.
Governor Steve Sisolak’s lockdowns did nothing to stop covid. They did, however, inflict widespread harm upon working-class Nevadans. A recent analysis from the Pew Charitable Trusts found that Nevada’s prime-age employment rate dropped a full 10 percentage points from 2019 to 2021. In other words, ten out of every hundred prime-working-age Nevadans that were employed in the spring of 2019 are now out of a job. This was by far the highest rate of job loss found in any state nationwide, and triple the average rate found among the other forty-nine US states.
As bad as that is, nothing compares to the harm that Sisolak’s failed policies inflicted on children. School closures caused massive learning loss, which can have compounding deleterious effects that lead to reduced future earnings, an increased poverty rate, and even reduced life expectancy. Rates of mental health issues among children, including acts of intentional self-harm, have skyrocketed.
These horrific costs were imposed without any corresponding benefits. As even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now admits, “COVID-19 transmission does not appear to be demonstrably more frequent in schools than in noneducational settings.” A more rigorous study published later by the Journal of Global Health found that “children and adolescents had lower odds of infection in educational-settings compared to community and household clusters.” In other words, school shutdowns did nothing to stop the spread of covid.
The scientific data makes clear that these policies should never again be implemented in response to covid—which, as a reminder, is less deadly than the flu for healthy young children and comparable to the flu for adults who choose to get vaccinated.
But, for whatever reason, many in the public health establishment have been reluctant to acknowledge that the lockdowns, school closures, and other draconian measures they championed in response to covid were utter failures. Tragically, many other countries are still implementing these dehumanizing and ineffective measures today. This is a problem, given that covid is clearly here to stay, and that American politicians have demonstrated an uncomfortable willingness to emulate the totalitarian practices of other nations.
Sadly, nothing can undo the damage already caused by Sisolak’s failed policies. But when the next rise of covid cases inevitably occurs, it is imperative that Nevadans are represented by political leaders willing and able to stand against the hysteria and groupthink. Never again should our children and most vulnerable be sacrificed to placate the misguided fear and neuroses of adults.

Sarah Weddington, lawyer who argued Roe v. Wade, dies at 76
AP – Sarah Weddington, a Texas lawyer who as a 26-year-old successfully argued the landmark abortion rights case Roe v. Wade before the U.S. Supreme Court, died Sunday. She was 76.
Susan Hays, Weddington’s former student and colleague, said she died in her sleep early Sunday morning at her Austin home. Weddington had been in poor health for some time and it was not immediately clear what caused her death, Hays told The Associated Press.
Raised as a minister’s daughter in the West Texas city of Abilene, Weddington attended law school at the University of Texas. A couple years after graduating, she and a former classmate, Linda Coffee, brought a class-action lawsuit on behalf of a pregnant woman challenging a state law that largely banned abortions.
The case of “Jane Roe,” whose real name was Norma McCorvey, was brought against Dallas County District Attorney Henry Wade and eventually advanced to the Supreme Court.
Weddington argued the case before the high court twice, in December 1971 and again in October 1972, resulting the next year in the 7-2 ruling that legalized abortion nationwide.
Weddington’s death comes as the Supreme Court is considering a case over Mississippi’s ban on abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy that’s widely considered to be most serious challenge in years to the Roe decision.
While that case was before the court, Weddington also ran to represent Austin in the Texas House of Representatives. She was elected in 1972 and served three terms as a state lawmaker, before becoming general counsel of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and later working as advisor on women’s issues to President Jimmy Carter.
The South Florida attorneys alleged that the Voyager Digital companies inflicted over $1 billion in damages as a result of the company’s false common representations to its customers on its publicly traded cryptocurrency platform.

Coral Gables attorneys have hit a publicly traded cryptocurrency platform with a class action lawsuit in a federal court in Miami, in which one of their experts alleged common damages exceeding $1 billion.
Stuart Z. Grossman and Rachel Wagner Furst — partners at Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen —and Adam M. Moskowitz, managing partner at the Moskowitz Law Firm, represent the plaintiff, Mark Cassidy.
They alleged that Voyager Digital Ltd. and its subsidiary, Voyager Digital LLC, made false common representations similar to those that evolved from the tactics of brokerage houses decades ago.
As a result, those alleged false representations, such as the claim that the defendants’ cryptocurrency platform is “100% commission-free” and that customers will receive the best possible price on their crypto trades, have enabled the companies to create billions of dollars in new revenue from inexperienced investors, like Cassidy, the complaint argued.
“Our main goal is to allow common investors a fighting chance, so if Voyager simply agrees to all of our proposed injunctive relief within 75 days, we will not seek any fees or costs from our extensive investigation,” Moskowitz stated in an email.
He added: “It is a shame that national business icons, such as Mark Cuban, have decided to buy the Kool-Aid and join these efforts to take advantage of the common investor’s lure of cryptocurrency.”
No Wonder People, Businesses Are Dumping California
Daily Signal – A recent study by the Cato Institute, the libertarian think tank, ranked California 48th out of the 50 states in personal and economic freedom.
The study also examines fiscal policy and regulatory policy. For the first time, California’s population decreased last year, resulting in the loss of a congressional seat. In the third quarter of this year, 150,000 more people on average left the state versus 60,000 net departures in the first quarter of last year.
Between March 2020 and September 2021, there has been a 38% decrease in new arrivals. California has 58 counties, and new arrivals fell in every single one.
As to the loss of personal and economic freedom, consider the following examples. As of the end of 2021, a publicly held company headquartered in California must have between one and three female board members, depending upon its size, or face a fine of $100,000.
Proponents insist that female membership on boards of directors increases profits. One wonders why companies do not simply sack their male members in favor of an all-female board.
The California Department of Education has proposed an “equitable math” framework. California Political Review says the framework “promotes the concept that working to figure out a correct answer is an example of racism and white supremacy invading the classroom.”
As of Jan. 1, 2022, California’s new bacon law is scheduled to take effect. According to The Associated Press: “Put simply, the law requires that breeding pigs, egg-laying chickens, and veal calves be given enough space to stand and turn around. For pigs, that means they no longer can be kept in narrow ‘gestation crates’ and must have 24 square feet of usable space.” Producers predict shortages and more expensive bacon and pork products.
In October, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, to continue the fight against “climate change,” signed a bill to eliminate gasoline-powered lawn mowers and leaf blowers. Never mind that a spokesperson for the National Association of Landscape Professionals said a three-person landscaping crew will need to carry 30 to 40 fully charged batteries to power its equipment during a full day’s work.
“These companies,” said the spokesperson, “are going to have to completely retrofit their entire workshops to be able to handle this massive change in voltage so they’re going to be charged every day.”

First-Ever Fully Autonomous Semi-Truck With No Human On Board Traverses Arizona Highway
Activist Post – Hardly a day goes by without some truck drivers thinking their days are numbered as AI, machine learning, and robotics could soon take their jobs.
In an industry that moves over 70% of U.S. freight by weight and labor and fuel costs are becoming more expensive, transportation companies are itching to swap human drivers for robot ones.
The latest example that automated semi-trucks could be available for commercial use in the next few years was the recent test by San Diego-based TuSimple.
According to a TuSimple press release, the company tested a class 8 vehicle (otherwise known as a trailer tractor) on a public road without human intervention. The nighttime test was conducted on Dec. 22 on an 80 mile stretch of highway between Tucson, Arizona, and Phoenix.
TuSimple “successfully completed the world’s first fully autonomous semi-truck run on open public roads without a human in the vehicle and without human intervention,” the press release said.
The one-hour and 20-minute drive is the first time a class 8 autonomous truck has operated on open public roads without a human in the vehicle and without human intervention and is part of an ongoing test program that will continue into 2022.
The test was performed in close collaboration with the Arizona Department of Transportation and law enforcement. The autonomous driving test was 100% operated by TuSimple’s ADS without a human on-board, without remote human control of the vehicle, and without traffic intervention. – TuSimple
TuSimple’s Autonomous Driving System can navigate streets, read traffic signals, maneuver on and off highways, and even change lanes while interacting with other vehicles.
