Japan Launches Official Investigation Into Millions Of mRNA Vaccine Deaths

Japan has launched an official investigation into the unprecedented numbers of people dying after receiving the Covid-19 vaccination.

According to reports, Japanese researchers have been instructed to investigate the mechanisms by which experimental mRNA jabs could be causing deaths and severe adverse reactions.

Hiroshima University School of Medicine Prof. Masataka Nagao highlighted how the bodies of vaccinated persons he performed autopsies on were abnormally warm, with upwards of 100 degree F body temperatures.

“The first concern was that the body temperatures of the corpses were very high when the police performed the autopsy,” Nagao declared.

“The body temperatures were unusually high, such as 33 or 34 degrees celsius (91-93ºF).”

In other bodies, Nagao says “temperatures were very high at the time of death. Their body temperatures were above the normal temperature, more like over 40 degrees celsius (104ºF).”

Graphing the data, Nagao’s research team found there were significant changes to the genetic makeup of vaccinated autopsied patients’ immune systems.

The research has led Nagao to conclude the vaccine causes immune system abnormalities that prompt inflammation throughout the body, which is likely the cause of the high body temperatures at the time of autopsy.

“Based on the data and the circumstances alone, it is not possible to conclude that the vaccine was the cause of the deaths,” Prof. Nagao said, adding, “However, it is impossible to say that the vaccine was not the cause. We can only say that it is doubtful, but we believe that vaccination was sufficiently related to the immune abnormalities.”

In another report, dermatology expert Prof. Shigetoshi Sano of the Kochi University School of Medicine discussed discovering spike proteins at the site of skin lesions and other skin problems on patients who were vaccinated.

“The spike protein derived from the vaccine was found in the skin,” Sano explained, highlighting a slide showing a bright green region on a lesion made visible by a special dye.

UK Govt Will Supposedly ‘Crack Down’ on Biological Males in Women’s Sports

Britain’s Conservative (Tory) government is preparing to “crack down” on “transgender” males competing in women’s sports, a report has claimed.

Culture Secretary Michelle Donelan is supposedly preparing to “crack down” on the inclusion of biological males competing in women’s sports, The Telegraph has reported.

How effective such a crackdown remains to be seen however, with the Tories historically doing very little to challenge transgenderism, even when it actively endangers the welfare of biological women, and even actively helping to advance gender ideology by, for example, planning to include gender identity in a forthcoming law banning so-called “conversion therapy”.

UK: ‘Conservative’ Govt to Make ‘Conversion Therapy’ for Transgender Individuals Illegal

Britain’s Conservative (Tory) Party is planning to make it illegal to provide “conversion therapy” for individuals who identify as transgender, reports suggest.

It will soon be illegal to try and change a transgender individual’s “gender identity” — described as “conversion therapy” — in England, with the country’s Conservative Party now said to be preparing a bill that will ban the practice.

The coming bill represents only the latest of the Tory government’s many pro-transgenderism manoeuvres, with the party frequently empowering gender ideology at all levels of British life, despite the dangers it often poses to biological women.

According to a report by broadcaster ITV, the bill is also set to make it illegal to try and change someone’s “gender identity”, a key tenant of transgender ideology.

This represents a major reversal on the part of the Conservatives, who had said last year that they would remove transgenderism from the ban due to concerns that, for example, parents and health professionals would find themselves accused of breaking the law if they did anything other than affirm the imagined gender identity of children who think they are trans.

U.S. Builds Enhanced Combat Training for Ukraine Forces in Germany

Enhanced training of Ukraine combat elements by U.S. forces in Germany has begun, with the aim of having a battalion ready to field against the Russians within five weeks, Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, announced Sunday.

AP reports Milley plans to visit the Grafenwoehr training area on Monday to get a first-hand look at the program being delivered by the 7th Army Training Command.

The U.S. has already trained about 3,100 Ukrainian troops on how to use and maintain certain weapons and other equipment, including howitzers, armored vehicles and the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, known as HIMARS.

Milley said the latest tranche left Ukraine a few days ago and are now based in Germany using a full set of donated weapons and equipment alongside trainers not just from the U.S. but from other countries around the world.

Speaking to two reporters traveling with him to Europe on Sunday, the AP report sets out Milley said the complex training — combined with an array of new weapons, artillery, tanks and other vehicles heading to Ukraine — will be key to helping the country’s forces take back territory captured by Russia in the nearly 11-month-old conflict.

U.S. NEWS, POLITICS & GOVERNMENT

Whitehead: Trust In Government Is No Longer Possible

How do you trust a government that continuously sidesteps the Constitution and undermines our rights? You can’t.

When you consider all the ways “we the people” are being bullied, beaten, bamboozled, targeted, tracked, repressed, robbed, impoverished, imprisoned and killed by the government, one can only conclude that you shouldn’t trust the government with your privacy, your property, your life, or your freedoms.

Consider for yourself.

Don’t trust the government with your privacy, digital or otherwise. In the two decades since 9/11, the military-security industrial complex has operated under a permanent state of emergency that, in turn, has given rise to a digital prison that grows more confining and inescapable by the day. Wall-to wall surveillance, monitored by AI software and fed to a growing network of fusion centers, render the twin concepts of privacy and anonymity almost void. By conspiring with corporations, the Department of Homeland Security “fueled a massive influx of money into surveillance and policing in our cities, under a banner of emergency response and counterterrorism.” For instance, all across the country, police are installing Flock Safety license plate readers as part of a public-private partnership program between police and the surveillance industry. These cameras, which upload data in real time to fusion crime centers, signal a turning point in the transition from a police state to a police-driven surveillance state.

Don’t trust the government with your property. In yet another effort to legitimize warrantless searches, police are employing “hit-and-hold” tactics in which police enter a home, carry out an initial sweep of the property, handcuff the occupants, then wait for official search warrants to be secured and applied retroactively. In the meantime, police have managed to bypass the Fourth Amendment. The rationale, to prevent possible destruction of evidence, is the same one used to deadly effect with no-knock raids. If government agents can invade your home, break down your doors, kill your dog, damage your furnishings and terrorize your family, your property is no longer private and secure—it belongs to the government. Hard-working Americans are having their bank accounts, homes, cars electronics and cash seized by police under the assumption that they have allegedly been associated with some criminal scheme.

Don’t trust the government with your finances. The U.S. government—and that includes the current administration—is spending money it doesn’t have on programs it can’t afford, and “we the taxpayers” are being forced to foot the bill for the government’s fiscal insanity. The national debt is $31.3 trillion and growing, and we’re paying more than $300 billion in interest every year on that public debt, yet there seems to be no end in sight when it comes to the government’s fiscal insanity. According to Forbes, Congress has raised, extended or revised the definition of the debt limit 78 times since 1960 in order to allow the government to essentially fund its existence with a credit card.

Don’t trust the government with your health. For all intents and purposes, “we the people” have become lab rats in the government’s secret experiments, which include MKULTRA and the U.S. military’s secret race-based testing of mustard gas on more than 60,000 enlisted men. Indeed, you don’t have to dig very deep or go very back in the nation’s history to uncover numerous cases in which the government deliberately conducted secret experiments on an unsuspecting populace—citizens and noncitizens alike—making healthy people sick by spraying them with chemicals, injecting them with infectious diseases and exposing them to airborne toxins. Unfortunately, the public has become so easily distracted by the political spectacle out of Washington, DC, that they are altogether oblivious to the grisly experiments, barbaric behavior and inhumane conditions that have become synonymous with the U.S. government, which has meted out untold horrors against humans and animals alike.

Don’t trust the government with your life: At a time when growing numbers of unarmed people have been shot and killed for just standing a certain way, or moving a certain way, or holding something—anything—that police could misinterpret to be a gun, or igniting some trigger-centric fear in a police officer’s mind that has nothing to do with an actual threat to their safety, even the most benign encounters with police can have fatal consequences. The number of Americans killed by police continues to grow, with the majority of those killed as a result of police encounters having been suspected of a non-violent offense or no crime at all, or during a traffic violation. According a report by Mapping Police Violence, police killed more people in 2022 than any other year within the past decade. In 98% of those killings, police were not charged with a crime.

Don’t trust the government with your freedoms. For years now, the government has been playing a cat-and-mouse game with the American people, letting us enjoy just enough freedom to think we are free but not enough to actually allow us to live as a free people. Freedom no longer means what it once did. This holds true whether you’re talking about the right to criticize the government in word or deed, the right to be free from government surveillance, the right to not have your person or your property subjected to warrantless searches by government agents, the right to due process, the right to be safe from militarized police invading your home, the right to be innocent until proven guilty and every other right that once reinforced the founders’ belief that this would be “a government of the people, by the people and for the people.” On paper, we may be technically free, but in reality, we are only as free as a government official may allow.

Whatever else it may be—a danger, a menace, a threat—the U.S. government is certainly not looking out for our best interests, nor is it in any way a friend to freedom.

Remember the purpose of a good government is to protect the lives and liberties of its people.

Unfortunately, what we have been saddled with is, in almost every regard, the exact opposite of an institution dedicated to protecting the lives and liberties of its people.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People and in its fictional counterpart The Erik Blair Diaries, “we the people” should have learned early on that a government that repeatedly lies, cheats, steals, spies, kills, maims, enslaves, breaks the laws, overreaches its authority, and abuses its power at almost every turn can’t be trusted.

Testing the Most Effective Method to Manipulate Minds

The U.S. government is planning to launch an “overwhelming” COVID-19 vaccine campaign in November

It’s still unclear exactly when a vaccine will be available, but it could be as early as October, or as late as January 2021. According to a White House administration official, the advertising campaign will be tailored to specific subsets of the population, depending on the people the vaccine is likely to benefit the most

Yale University is studying the effectiveness of various messages about vaccinating against COVID-19 to ensure maximum vaccine uptake

The primary outcome measure is willingness to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Secondary outcome measures include the participants’ confidence in the vaccine, their willingness to persuade others to get vaccinated, their fear of those who have not been vaccinated and the level of social judgment of those who choose not to vaccinate

More Classified Documents Found at Biden’s Delaware Home: White House

Additional classified documents have been found at President Joe Biden’s Delaware home, the White House stated on Jan. 14.

Biden’s personal attorney found one document on Jan. 11, and Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president, discovered the rest of the documents along with Justice Department (DOJ) officials a day later.

Six pages, all bearing classification markings and stored in a room adjacent to the garage at Biden’s home, were found during the search, Sauber said in a statement.

“The President’s personal attorneys discovered one document with a classified marking consisting of one page in a room adjacent to the garage. At that point, the President’s personal attorneys stopped searching the immediate area where the document was found,” Sauber said in the statement. “I went to Wilmington Thursday evening to facilitate providing the document … to the Justice Department.

“Five additional pages with classification markings were discovered among the material with it, for a total of six pages. The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.”

Biden’s personal attorneys have been helping search the Penn Biden Center and Biden’s Delaware home after classified documents were found at the president’s previous office and home.

The attorneys—who don’t have active security clearances—will halt the search and notify the DOJ once they find a document with a classified marking, Sauber stated.

Sauber reiterated on Jan. 14 that the White House would cooperate with a special counsel investigation into the matter.

Comer Tells Biden to Release Visitor Logs for Chief Executive’s Wilmington, Delaware, Home

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, is demanding that President Joe Biden make the visitors log for his Wilmington, Delaware, residence public, as well as “documents and communications about all properties and locations searched, including the identities of the Biden aides conducting the searches.”

In a Jan. 15 letter to White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, Comer wrote: “President Biden’s mishandling of classified materials raises the issue of whether he has jeopardized our national security. Without a list of individuals who have visited his residence, the American people will never know who had access to these highly sensitive documents.”

The oversight committee “demands transparency into whether any individuals with foreign connections to the Biden family gained access to President Biden’s residence and the classified documents that he has mishandled for years. The committee is also concerned White House aides and President Biden’s personal attorneys searched the Wilmington residence knowing that the Department of Justice was already investigating the matter.”

The Kentucky Republican was referring to the fact that either White House aides or Biden’s personal attorneys discovered classified documents at the Penn Biden Center, the president’s joint foundation with the University of Pennsylvania, or the Wilmington residence. It’s illegal for any individual without the proper security clearance to handle classified documents.

Comer is also concerned because months elapsed between the first discovery of classified documents at the academic center on Nov. 2, 2022, and Attorney General Merrick Garland’s Jan. 12 announcement of his appointment of special counsel Robert Hur to investigate the matter. Throughout that period of time, Comer noted, White House aides and Biden’s personal attorneys have had unfettered access to the documents.

“Nonetheless, President Biden has returned to Delaware this weekend without any reported law enforcement ever conducting an independent search for classified materials,” Comer added.

House Republicans Officially Launch Investigations Into Biden Documents

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) requested a range of documents and other materials from the White House after it was revealed that classified documents were found at President Joe Biden’s office and Delaware home, triggering a special counsel investigation.

In a new letter issued to White House counsel Stuart Delery on Friday, Comer noted that his committee recently initiated an investigation into Biden’s possession of classified materials and said that more documents are needed by Jan. 27. That includes “all classified documents” that were recently obtained by Biden’s lawyers “at any location,” according to the letter.

Comer’s letter also sought a complete list of Biden’s aides and lawyers who are tasked to look through Biden’s documents, a list of locations where the documents were found, and communications and documents that were sent between the Department of Justice and White House or the National Archives. The latest House Oversight letter was triggered after a second batch of documents were found by Biden’s aides and lawyers inside rooms of his Delaware residence; classified materials were also found at his Washington office.

“We have [documents] revealing this address appeared on Hunter’s driver’s license as recently as 2018,” House Oversight Republicans wrote, referring to Biden’s son Hunter Biden, “the same time he was cutting deals with foreign adversaries.”

The nexus between the tranche of documents and Hunter Biden is notable, as the GOP has long sought to investigate connections between the president and his son’s controversial business ventures in China and Ukraine. Before Republicans took control of the House, Comer and other Republicans announced they want to make investigating the Bidens’ business dealings a priority.

Dershowitz: Biden Classified Documents Finding Undermines Trump Prosecution

Retired Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz said that the discovery that President Joe Biden kept classified documents from when he was vice president undermines arguments to prosecute former President Donald Trump.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in August was raided by FBI agents as prosecutors alleged that he kept classified records there. But this week, Biden’s lawyers said that classified records were found at Biden’s Delaware home and a Washington office that he had used, triggering a Thursday announcement from Attorney General Merrick Garland that he appointed a special counsel to investigate the matter.

“You cannot have two systems of justice unless the claims against Trump passed what I used to call the Clinton-Berger test,” Dershowitz told Just the News on Wednesday, responding to the two incidents. “Now it’s the Clinton-Berger-Biden test. Unless his conduct is so much more egregious and unlawful than what the three Democrats were accused of doing, you can’t have a criminal prosecution of Donald Trump.”

Dershowitz then stated that Biden possessed these documents when he was vice president and, unlike Trump, did not have the authority to declassify. After last year’s FBI raid, Trump and former White House officials have said he declassified a range of materials when he was president.

“We know for example presidents can declassify material when they’re in office, but not after they leave office,” he said. “We know that vice presidents cannot declassify material.”

However, the former law professor and high-powered criminal defense attorney said that neither Trump nor Biden should be prosecuted over these documents.

“There’s not enough for a criminal prosecution of either of them,” Dershowitz told the outlet. “Even if there was some inkling that maybe Trump should be prosecuted for Mar-a-Lago, it’s not going to happen now. Merrick Garland is not going to want to be perceived as somebody who applies the law differently to Democrats and to Republicans.”

ATF Stabilizer Brace Rule Means the Registration of Millions of Guns

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives’ (ATF’s) stabilizer brace rule was finalized January 13, 2023, and it portends the registration of millions of guns.

Breitbart News reported the announcement of the finalized rule, noting that owners of said braces will have 120 days to register them once the rule is published in the federal register.

This means millions of guns must be registered within 120 days.

At the low end of the spectrum, NPR notes, “Officials estimated about 3 million stabilizing braces are currently in circulation in the U.S.”

At the higher end of the spectrum, the Congressional Research Service suggested there were already “between 10 and 40 million” stabilizer braces by April 19, 2021.

New Biden Administration Immigration Program Adds Loopholes to Title 42 Order

President Joe Biden’s new immigration program includes loopholes that could enable would-be illegal immigrants to bypass expulsion under a public health order called Title 42.

One prong of the program enables immigrants located in Mexico to submit information on a mobile application called CBP One and to schedule appointments at ports of entry, or manned entry points at the U.S.–Mexico border.

Title 42, which the Biden administration has been forced to keep in place, requires the quick expulsion of some illegal immigrants because of COVID-19 fears. It also allows the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis, including for humanitarian reasons.

When announcing the new program, DHS said it would let migrants claim certain “vulnerability criteria” on the CBP One app. The criteria weren’t detailed.

The Epoch Times used the CBP One app after it started accepting applications for appointments and found the criteria include simply being under the age of 21 or over the age of 70.

Other criteria include having a “physical or mental illness,” having a disability, being pregnant, having “no access to safe housing or shelter in Mexico,” and having been “threatened or harmed while in Mexico.”

If an immigrant—or a person with whom they’re traveling—meets one or more of the criteria, they could be allowed into the United States as an exception to Title 42.

Meeting one or more criteria “may make you eligible for an exception” to the public health order, DHS states on the app.

Treasury Secretary Warns Congress US Will Hit Debt Ceiling Within a Week

Treasury Security Janet Yellen warned the United States is projected to hit its $31.4 trillion debt borrowing limit by next week, according to a letter she sent to congressional leaders on Friday.

In a letter (pdf) to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), Yellen wrote that according to projections, the country will hit the debt ceiling by Jan. 19. If that deadline passes without Congressional action to raise the borrowing limit, the Treasury would have to take “certain extraordinary measures” to avoid a default on its obligations.

Measures that could be implemented by the Treasury Department include temporarily redeeming existing and suspending new investments of the Postal Service Retiree Health Benefits Fund as well as the Civil Service, Retirement, and Disability Fund. The Department would also suspend investment into the Government Securities Investment Fund of the Federal Employees Retirement System Thrift Savings Plan, she said.

“Failure to meet the government’s obligations would cause irreparable harm to the U.S. economy, the livelihoods of all Americans, and global financial stability,” she wrote in a letter that will trigger discussions and new proposals in Congress on whether to pass a debt limit increase. Some Republican members of Congress have said they would agree to a bill to raise the debt limit to pass additional spending cuts.

Yellen noted that the Treasury cannot estimate how long the extraordinary measures will enable the federal government to pay its obligations but asserted “it is unlikely that cash and extraordinary measures will be exhausted before early June.”

As of Wednesday, Treasury data showed that U.S. federal debt stood $78 billion below the limit, with the Treasury operating a cash balance of $346.4 billion. The department on Thursday reported an $85 billion December deficit as revenues eased and outlays grew, particularly for debt interest costs.

“It is therefore critical that Congress act in a timely manner to increase or suspend the debt limit. Failure to meet the government’s obligations would cause irreparable harm to the U.S. economy, the livelihoods of all Americans, and global financial stability,” Yellen also wrote to McCarthy. Similar letters were sent to top Senate and House leaders.

McCarthy Says He Would Consider Expunging Trump’s Impeachments

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) revealed Thursday that he would be open to the idea of “expunging” one or both of former President Donald Trump’s impeachments.

When asked about the possibility of erasing the impeachments during a Jan. 12 press conference at the Capitol, McCarthy replied that he would “have to look” at the situation, saying, “I understand why members would want to bring that forward.”

“Our first priority is to get our economy back on track, secure our borders, make our streets safe again, give parents the opportunity to have a say in their kids’ education, and actually hold government accountable,” he added. “But I understand why individuals want to do it, and we’d look at it.”

Trump was first impeached by the House in December 2019 over a phone call he had with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He was charged with abuse of power for allegedly pressuring Zelenskyy to investigate a political opponent, and with obstruction of Congress, but was ultimately acquitted of those charges by the Senate.

In 2021, Trump was impeached again for alleged “incitement of insurrection” following the Jan. 6 Capitol breach. Again, he was acquitted.

US Court Upholds Religious Schools Title IX Exemption

A federal court in Oregon on Thursday upheld a Title IX exception that permits religious universities to receive federal funding even if they follow religious beliefs regarding marriage, sexual identity, and gender.

A group of 40 LGBT individuals filed the 2021 lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education to challenge an exception or loophole in Title IX that permits religious colleges to seek exemptions from the civil rights law’s restriction against sex-based discrimination.

Judge Ann Aiken from the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon found that the loophole is “one narrow exception” to Title IX designed by Congress to safeguard institutions controlled by a religious organization and avoid interfering with their convictions that may conflict with the regulations.

“Exempting religiously controlled educational institutions from Title IX—and only to the extent that a particular application of Title IX would not be consistent with a specific tenet of the controlling religious organization—is substantially related to the government’s objective of accommodating religious exercise,” Aiken wrote in her ruling (pdf).

The LGBT group, the Religious Exemption Accountability Project, the plaintiffs in the case, argued that the exemption violated the students’ equal protection rights under the U.S. Constitution by treating them differently than other students due to their sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Investigation Panel Disapproves Georgia’s Takeover of Fulton County’s Elections

Georgia is not recommended to take over Fulton County’s elections, a panel appointed by the State Election Board said.

The panel observed substantial improvements in Fulton County elections and identified several areas for further improvements.

It’s not recommended for the state of Georgia to replace the Fulton County Election Board, the panel concluded.

“Replacing the board would not be helpful and would in fact hinder the ongoing improvements to Fulton County elections,” the Performance Review Board said in a report (pdf) on Friday.

The report was first obtained by Georgia Public Broadcasting.

Fulton County—where most of  Atlanta city is located and one of every ten voters of Georgia lives—is known for election-related issues. After its chaotic primary election in June 2020, the State Election Board was pressed to appoint Seven Hills Strategies, a consulting company, to review the elections in Fulton County.

Besides the hiring of Seven Hills Strategies, the Georgia State Election Board also established a Performance Review Board on Aug. 18, 2021, to conduct a comprehensive review of Fulton County elections after the Peach State passed a sweeping election law SB 202 in March 2021.

SB 202 allows the state election authority to establish a review board per request from certain parties and suspend up to three county-level elections boards for at least nine months.

Three officials were appointed to the Performance Review Board including Stephen Day, member and former chair of the Gwinnett County Board of Elections; Ryan Germany, general counsel for the Office of the Secretary of State; and Rickey Kittle, chair of the Catoosa County Board of Elections.

Internal Twitter Documents Show Prominent Democrats Pushed Russiagate Lie

The latest Twitter Files release shows how prominent Democrats had pushed a false Russiagate-related narrative about “Russian bots” promoting a key House Intelligence Committee memo that detailed efforts to spy on the Trump campaign.

The 14th installment of the Twitter Files was released on Jan. 12 by journalist Matt Taibbi, who explained in a series of posts that, at a key moment in the Trump-Russia investigation, Democrats alleged that “Russian bots” were spreading an explosive report from then-Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).

“At a crucial moment in a years-long furor,” Taibbi explained in one of the posts, “Democrats denounced a report about flaws in the Trump-Russia investigation, saying it was boosted by Russian ‘bots’ and ‘trolls.’”

“Twitter officials were aghast, finding no evidence of Russian influence,” Taibbi continued.

In support of this take, Taibbi shared screenshots of correspondence from Twitter executives to several Congressional Democrats, including Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), confirming that Twitter had “not identified any significant activity connected to Russia with respect to Tweets posting original content to this [#ReleaseTheMemo] hashtag.”

The #ReleaseTheMemo hashtag had spread like wildfire on Twitter, topping its trending list starting on Jan. 18, 2018 and reflecting the widespread call to publicly release a then-classified memo submitted by Nunes, who at the time was the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

Biden Issues Major Disaster Declarations for California, Alabama

President Joe Biden approved major disaster declarations for California and Alabama on Jan. 14 to assist state and local recovery efforts following major storms in both states.

Storms in California have left at least 19 people dead amid widespread flooding, mudslides, and other adverse weather incidents, while severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes affected Alabama on Jan. 12. The storms in Alabama were among the severe weather that left at least nine people dead across the southeast.

Waves of storms have hammered California since late December 2022 as part of what the National Weather Service (NWS) says is an “atmospheric river.”

“The president’s action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in the counties of Merced, Sacramento, and Santa Cruz,” the White House said in a statement. “Federal funding also is available to state, tribal and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work in the counties of Merced, Sacramento, and Santa Cruz.”

The NWS stated that more rain is expected through Jan. 16 in some parts of California, according to a Jan. 15 bulletin. However, after that, drier weather is anticipated in much of the state.

“Lower elevation valley/coastal rain and heavy high elevation mountain snow continue to expand across the west as multiple storm systems affect the region,” the agency stated. “The first system that brought more heavy rain and flooding concerns across California on Saturday is moving through the Great Basin and towards the Rockies today ahead of another system moving in from the Pacific early [on Jan. 16].”

Up to two inches of rain was predicted for the already-soaked Sacramento Valley, where residents of semi-rural Wilton, home to about 5,000 people, were ordered to evacuate as the Cosumnes River continued to rise. Another three inches of snow and gusty winds were expected in the Sierra Nevada. Interstate 80, a key highway from the San Francisco Bay Area to Lake Tahoe ski resorts, reopened after being closed for most of Jan. 14 because of slick roads, snow, and whiteout conditions.

Lawmakers Warn Gas Stove Ban Would Eliminate Affordable Cooking Method

Lawmakers, particularly on the Republican side of the aisle, are continuing to voice their opposition to the idea of a ban on gas stoves.

Concerns about a gas stove ban have risen after a recent study linked their use to childhood asthma and after U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. discussed regulating gas stoves in a recent interview with Bloomberg News.

“This is a hidden hazard,” Trumka told Bloomberg. “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”

In a Wednesday press statement, the new chairwoman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), said this proposed ban is the latest example of President Joe Biden’s “war on American energy.”

“It is not about public safety. It is about telling the American people the federal government knows best and will decide what kind of car they can drive, how they can heat their house, and now how they’re allowed to cook food for their families,” Rodgers said.

Senator Wants ‘Full Accounting’ of ‘Highly Concerning’ Capitol Police Failures, Delayed Jan. 6 Evacuations

Congress owes the American people “a full accounting” of the critical delay in evacuating lawmakers at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson said.

Reacting to an investigation by The Epoch Times that showed a Capitol Police lieutenant was never answered when he repeatedly asked the No. 2 commander for authorization to evacuate the U.S. Senate, Johnson (R-Wisconsin) said it’s another example of Jan. 6 questions needing answers.

“I’ve sent numerous oversight letters to Capitol Police regarding the security failures on January 6th,” Johnson told The Epoch Times in a statement. “While I have received some information in response to my inquiries, many people responsible for security on that day have repeatedly failed to cooperate.”

Former USCP Lt. Tarik K. Johnson said he got no response when asking for authorization to begin evacuating lawmakers and staff on Jan. 6. The top commander that Johnson said was responsible—former Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman—was missing in action when he pleaded for direction.

Youngkin Blocked Ford Battery Plant over China Concerns

Virginia Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin does not want his state to participate in the Ford Motor Co. request to build a battery manufacturing plant due to national security concerns associated with China. The automaker has an ongoing agreement with a Chinese company.

“We felt that the right thing to do was to not recruit Ford as a front for China to America,” Youngkin told reporters on Jan 11., after his State of the Commonwealth speech to the General Assembly. Later, Richard Cullen, the governor’s chief legal counsel, told the Washington Post that the battery project involved “national security risk-type technology.”

In his address to the General Assembly at the beginning of a new legislative session, Youngkin said that the risk tied to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was “common sense,” calling the CCP “a dictatorial political party that only has one goal: global dominance at the expense of the United States.”

He explained the balance between attracting business to Virginia and incurring CCP-related national security risks: “I’ve said before that I want ‘Made in America’ to mean ‘Made in Virginia.’ But let me be clear, ‘Made in Virginia’ cannot be a front for the Chinese Communist Party.”

In his speech, Youngkin also highlighted his support for an upcoming bill prohibiting foreign entities tied to the CCP from buying farmland in Virginia. “Virginians—not the CCP—should own the rich and vibrant agricultural lands God has blessed us with,” he added. “The stakes are too high, and the consequences are too great.”

Last month, Youngkin issued an Executive Order (pdf) to ban TikTok and WeChat apps on Virginia state-owned devices.

The Daily Caller first reported in December that Youngkin directed the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) to remove Virginia from location consideration for the Ford battery plant and not to submit an incentive package.

The agreement between Ford and China’s Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) to supply batteries to Ford’s electric vehicles would qualify CATL to receive lucrative production tax benefits under the new Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), according to a Bloomberg report. The report also said that the ownership structure of the deal would be Ford owning 100 percent of the plant and CATL owning the technology and operations of the facility.

Inflation ticked lower in December. Here’s what went up and here’s what went down

Food costs are still rising but used cars are still getting cheaper

The Labor Department’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell 0.1% in December, pulling the annual inflation rate down to 6.5%. The reading was exactly in line with economists’ estimates.

For consumers who have already trimmed spending to focus on the bare necessities, the report was a mixed bag. Gasoline prices continued their decline, falling 9.4% from November. Compared to December 2021, gas prices were 1.2% lower last month, though they have begun to rise again this month.

Consumers also continued to pay less for used cars and trucks in December. After rising to record highs earlier in the year, used vehicle prices were 2.5% lower last month. Over the last 12 months, prices are down 8.8%.

But those breaks for consumers were offset by continued price increases at the supermarket. The price of food prepared at home rose another 0.2% last month and is up 11.8% over the last 12 months.

When Social Security Recipients Can Expect First Boosted Payments to Arrive in 2023

Social Security recipients started receiving a significant increase in their benefits this week amid decades-high inflation that sparked an 8.7 percent cost-of-living adjustment last year.

The first payments with the adjustment for 2023 were already disbursed for many Social Security recipients, with more coming throughout the month.

The adjustment, known as a COLA, is the largest since 1981 when Social Security recipients saw an 11.2 percent increase. The increase this year will increase the average monthly benefit by about $140 per month on average, according to a previous estimate from the Social Security Administration.

It means that the average retiree benefit will increase to $1,827 in 2023 from $1,681 in 2022, according to the administration. About 66 million Americans receive Social Security payments, the agency says on its website.

Starting Jan. 11 (pdf), retirees whose birthdates fall on the first through the 10th of their birth month are scheduled to be sent payments. Those payments are sent out starting on the second Wednesday of each month throughout the year.

Beneficiaries who were born between the 11th and 20th will get their payments on Jan. 18, and the next group of people—born between the 21st and 31st—will get their payments on Jan. 25.

Data released this week by the Labor Department show the Consumer Price Index, a key inflation metric, slowed for a sixth consecutive month in December to 6.5 percent year-over-year. It came after the Federal Reserve aggressively raised interest rates by levels not seen in about two decades.

IRS Announces Start of 2023 Tax Season: Here Are Some Key Changes

Agency warns taxpayers to make 2022 fourth quarter payments to avoid ‘surprise’

The Internal Revenue Service announced Thursday that the agency will begin accepting 2022 tax returns on Jan. 23 and that April 18 is the deadline to file taxes.

In a news release, the agency said it expects that 168 million individual tax returns will be filed this year, and the “vast majority” will be filed before the April 18 deadline. “People have three extra days to file this year due to the calendar,” it said, adding that people requesting an extension will have until Oct. 16 to file.

The agency used the news release to tout last year’s passage of the Inflation Reduction Act, which Republicans say would allow for the hiring of 87,000 new IRS personnel—although Democrats say that such hiring initiatives are needed to deal with IRS backlogs. House GOP lawmakers this week proposed a bill to rescind that funding.

“This filing season is the first to benefit the IRS and our nation’s tax system from multi-year funding in the Inflation Reduction Act,” said acting IRS Commissioner Doug O’Donnell in a statement. “With these new additional resources, taxpayers and tax professionals will see improvements in many areas of the agency this year.”

O’Donnell added that the IRS has “trained thousands of new employees to answer phones and help people. While much work remains after several difficult years, we expect people to experience improvements this tax season. That’s just the start as we work to add new long-term transformation efforts that will make things even smoother in future years. We are very excited to begin to deliver what taxpayers want and our employees know we could do with this funding.”

Free tax filing services can be anyone who made $73,000 or less in 2022 starting on Jan. 13, according to the release. But those returns won’t be processed until the 2023 tax season starts later in January, it said.

“These steps took place as the IRS worked for months to prepare for the 2023 tax season. The January 23 start date for individual tax return filers allows the IRS time to perform annual updates and readiness work that are critical to ensuring IRS systems run smoothly,” the agency said. “This is the date IRS systems officially begin accepting tax returns. Many software providers and tax professionals are already accepting tax returns; they will transmit those returns to the IRS when the agency begins accepting tax returns on January 23.”

7-Eleven Stores Blare Classical Music to Deter Homeless Individuals from Loitering: ‘It’s Working’

Some 7-Eleven store owners across the country have resorted to blaring classical and opera music to deter homeless individuals from loitering outside their stores.

This has reportedly occurred in Austin, Texas, and in multiple California cities, where the homeless crisis has jeopardized the safety of local residents and small business owners.

Jag Patel, a 7-Eleven store owner in the Riverside neighborhood of Austin, recently started playing loud opera music to dissuade homeless people from hanging outside his storefront who made customers feel unsafe, Fox 7 reported. After hearing about the measure from other owners, he started using it and says it is working.

“Studies have shown that the classical music is annoying. Opera is annoying, and I’m assuming they are correct because it’s working,” Patel told the outlet

Illegal Aliens Linked to South American Theft Ring Accused of Burglarizing Alabama Jewelry Store

Two illegal aliens linked to a South American theft ring are accused of robbing a jewelry store in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Ricardo Fabian Soto-Vargas, a 34-year-old illegal alien from Chile, and Sebastian Vilches, a 36-year-old illegal alien from Chile, were arrested this month and charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, and marijuana possession.

According to the Gulf Shores Police Department, Soto-Vargas and Vilches were in the midst of burglarizing the Diamond Jewelers store when officers were called to the scene. When they arrived, officers found that the alarm had been set off as a result of Soto-Vargas and Vilches allegedly forcing their way into the store.

Up in Smoke: Elon Musk Breaks Guinness World Record for ‘Worst Loss of Fortune’

Tesla CEO, Twitter owner, and self-promoter Elon Musk has broken the world record for “worst loss of fortune,” according to Guinness World Records.

The Washington Post reports that according to Guinness World Records, Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and CEO of Tesla, has experienced the “worst loss of fortune in history.” Data from Forbes and the Bloomberg Billionaires Index states that between November 2021 and January 2022, Musk lost about $200 billion. The previous record was held by Japanese billionaire Masayoshi Son, CEO of SoftBank, who lost $58.6 billion during the 2000 tech stock crash. Taking inflation into account, that loss would be equivalent to about $100 billion today.

Doctor Calls for Withdrawal of Pfizer, Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines Following New Research

An American doctor is joining the calls for the withdrawal of the messenger RNA COVID-19 vaccines, pointing to new research that highlights a connection between the shots and adverse events.

Dr. Joseph Fraiman, a doctor based in Louisiana who also conducts research on COVID-19 and other health issues, says it’s time to halt the administration of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines until new clinical trials prove the benefits from the vaccines outweigh the harms.

The new research, including a reanalysis of the trials for the vaccines, raise concerns about whether the benefits from the vaccines outweigh the harms, according to the doctor.

“I don’t see how anyone couldn’t be certain that the benefits are outweighing the harms on a population level, or even in the high-risk groups. I don’t see the evidence to support that claim,” Fraiman told The Epoch Times. “But I also can’t say that there’s evidence to support that it’s potentially more harmful, but there’s also uncertainty here. … Given that scenario, I believe that people should not be given the [vaccines] outside of a clinical trial, because we need to figure out … if their benefits outweigh harm or if harm outweighs benefits.”

“The only thing that can answer that question is going to be a randomized trial,” he added.

Pfizer and Moderna did not respond to requests for comment.

Toxic Stew: Big Pharma Seeks To Inject Livestock With mRNA ‘Vaccines’

The pharmaceutical industry has been quietly at work for years now concocting excuses and methods to inject livestock — whose flesh will eventually end up in human digestive tracts — with mRNA therapies marketed as “vaccines.”

A research project underway at Iowa State University titled NOVEL MRNA VACCINE TECHNOLOGY FOR PREVENTION OF BOVINE RESPIRATORY SYNCYTIAL VIRUS is developing mRNA vaxxes for domesticated cows:

Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a significant viral pathogens [sic] of young cows that is a key component of the respiratory disease complex and often leads to secondary bacterial pneumonia… we will test a novel mRNA vaccine system we have developed that substantially lowers the price point for production animals and may lead to more thermal stable transcripts compatible with vaccinating on the farm… Our overall goal is to test a novel mRNA system for inducing immunological protection from bovine RSV infection.

In Australia, the vax-happy government has “fast-tracked” mRNA vaccine development for cattle in partnership with a U.S. biotech firm:

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole said today marks an important milestone towards securing the vaccine technology that will protect Australia’s $28.7 billion livestock industry.

“The NSW Nationals in Government are taking the threat of FMD and Lumpy Skin Disease extremely seriously, and this milestone is another step forward in preparing for a potential outbreak,” Mr Toole said…

“COVID-19 demonstrated to us that all possible avenues in developing vaccines must be explored and we will leave no stone unturned.”

Pharma biotech research is also hard at work on wildlife mRNA vaccines:

Two-thirds of captive-bred black-footed ferrets have been vaccinated for the novel coronavirus, and not a single one of the endangered mustelids is known so far to have contracted the disease.

Researchers are concerned that black-footed ferrets (Mustela nigripes) may be able to contract SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans, since close relatives like European mink (Mustela lutreola) and domestic ferrets (Mustela putorius furo) can be infected.

After finding similar species can be infected, researchers quickly began to increase safety protocols at zoos and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Black-footed Ferret Conservation Center in Colorado, the main source of the captive-breeding and release program for the federally endangered species.

What will the consequences be of vaccinating every captive and wild animal on Earth? No one knows, including the reckless pharmaceutical firms conducting this mass-scale experiment.

It’s been way past time to stop pussyfooting around the core of the problem: the people directing these efforts are pure, raw evil. Whether they are literally possessed by some off-world spirit, just plain psychopaths, or whatever else, is up for debate.

What is increasingly non-debatable is that, whatever the root cause of their hatred for life on Earth and nature itself (as a proxy for God), they won’t stop until they a.) are neutralized with irresistible force (ideally through legal means) or b.) have irreversibly infected the entire animal, plant, bacteria, and fungi genome with their Frankenstein genetic material.

SEC Crackdown on Crypto Continues With Charges Filed Against Gemini and Genesis

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is going after some of the largest crypto companies, by filing charges against Gemini and Genesis.

The federal government’s legal crackdown on crypto is expanding, as the SEC charged some of the biggest names in the industry of operating illegal lending services on Jan. 12.

The SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission have each brought complaints against FTX co-founder and former CEO Sam Bankman-Fried with the same intent in mind.

Genesis, which was founded by the crypto magnate Barry Silbert, is a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group. Gemini is run by the famous billionaire twins, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss.

The securities regulator alleged that the crypto exchange, Gemini, and crypto lender, Genesis, caused its customers to suffer major financial losses.

Genesis and Gemini were charged for partnering up to sell unregistered securities through a high-yield financial product called Gemini Earn.

Sheriffs in 80 Illinois Counties Say They Will Not Enforce ‘Assault Weapons’ Ban

Sheriffs in 80 Illinois counties are making clear they will not enforce the “assault weapons” ban Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed into law on Tuesday.

Breitbart News reported that the “assault weapons” ban targets commonly owned semiautomatic rifles and requires those who already own such rifles to register them with the Illinois State Police.

Pritzker’s office released a statement upon his signing of the bill. It highlighted the registration requirement: “The new law also requires existing owners of semi-automatic rifles to register their ownership, ensuring that law enforcement knows the location of these weapons of war and who to hold accountable if they fall into the wrong hands.”

Washington Fire Captain Found Dead in His Bed Hours After Responding to Call: ‘Completely Unexpected’

A fire captain in Clallam County, Washington, was discovered dead Thursday morning only hours after he had returned from a call.

Charles “Chad” Cate, 46, was found deceased in his bunk bed by fellow firefighters at the station at around 7:00 a.m., Callam County Fire District 3 said in a press release. He was last seen at around 2:20 a.m. that same morning after returning to the station from a fire alarm activation at a commercial building.

Evidence of Serious Adverse Events in What Is Believed to Be One of the Most Effective Vaccines

The decline of public trust in COVID-19 vaccines significantly impacts vaccination rates against routine childhood diseases. This multiple-part series explores the international research done over the past two decades on the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine—believed to be one of the most effective vaccines developed to date.

Summary of Key Facts

  • This multiple-part series offers a thorough analysis of concerns raised about HPV vaccination following the global HPV campaign, which commenced in 2006.
  • In the United States, the HPV vaccine was reported to have a disproportionately higher percentage of adverse events of fainting and blood clots in the veins. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) acknowledges that fainting can happen following the HPV vaccine, and recommends sitting or lying down to get the shot, then waiting for 15 minutes afterward.
  • International scientists found that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) logged a substantial increase in reports of premature ovarian failure (POF) from 1.4 per year before 2006 to 22.2 per year after the HPV vaccine approval, yielding a Proportional Reporting Ratio of 46.1.

The HPV vaccine is widely regarded as one of the most effective vaccines developed to date. Nevertheless, safety issues have been raised following its approval, and in response, additional research has been published and litigation has been brought on behalf of those with a vaccine injury.

How a Once-Struggling Indiana Farm Found Success, and Hope, When They Embraced Farming Practices that Nurture the Soil

If you drive through the countryside of Roanoke, Indiana, you will see acres of corn and soybean crops. This is fertile farm country, and this is what you’d might expect. However, if you’re lucky, you will find yourself at Seven Sons Farms, owned by the Hitzfield family, and here you’ll discover something surprising.

At Seven Sons, there are 550 acres of perennial pasture on which 200 head of cattle graze and 14,000 hens wander and peck. The farm’s woodland is foraged by 300 to 400 hogs, and there are also bison and sheep. At Seven Sons, said CEO of distribution Blaine Hitzfield, who is the second son of the seven, “we’re a farm with over 10,000 beating hearts out on the land.”

Seven Sons is committed to raising free-range, grass-fed, non-GMO, antibiotic-free food products, and farming regeneratively to preserve soil nutrient value. “It’s a sacred thing that we do,” said Hitzfield. “Regenerate soil by stopping tillage and chemical use, produce nutrient-dense foods, and make an exchange with the consumer, knowing that we are affecting their future health. We are accountable to that.” The farm supports 35 full-time careers, and it feeds over 10,000 families per year via the farm’s meat subscription service.

Hardship Leads to Epiphany

It was not always this way. The abundance on the farm today is the result of a miracle that has taken place over the last 20 years in the lives of the family, the animals, and the soil. In his high school years, Hitzfield’s father, Lee Hitzfield, developed an interest in farming. He dropped out of college and got to know a local farmer in Roanoke who operated a conventional row crop and confinement hog farm. Hitzfield explained, “My dad worked on that farm for about a year free of charge and learned the business, and he purchased it in the early ’80s. It was just 20 acres and came with 800 to 1,000 acres of leased row crop land.”

Lee and his wife Beth continued to farm conventionally through the 1980s, selling the products to Tyson Foods. “Things were going all right,” said Hitzfield. Lee and Beth were able to make their debt payments, and while “it wasn’t the most profitable business, it was cash-flowing.”

But they faced a problem: Farming 1,200 acres of row crops was barely enough to support Lee’s single full-time income; there was no opportunity for his sons to join him. “That’s the reality for most farms,” explained Hitzfield. “How do you transfer to the next generation if the farm cannot support more than one person at a time?”

Then, a turning point came. After the birth of her third son in 1993, Beth became devastatingly ill with rheumatoid arthritis. Severe cases of this condition can affect not only the joints but also the vital organs, and Beth’s case was very severe. Hitzfield said, “Her doctor told her that she couldn’t have any more kids and that in five years she might be in a wheelchair.”

Struggling with an unprofitable farm and a serious health crisis, the Hitzfields happened to meet and become friendly with a soil agronomist called Ray Smith who was willing to take them under his wing. “He was the first person my dad had met who understood so much about animal, plant, and soil biology and how the nutrient cycle is tied together,” said Hitzfield. Smith recommended some simple but fundamental dietary changes for Beth—first by consuming high-nutrient plants through drinking vegetable juice. At the time, recalled Hitzfield, “my dad was carrying her back and forth from the bathroom to the bed because she was in too much pain to get up and walk.” Within a few months of following Smith’s advice, they saw drastic improvements in Beth’s health. Later, Beth removed inflammatory foods from her diet and started eating only meat from the farm and locally grown produce.

“That changed their perspective on everything,” said Hitzfield. Experiencing health changes so dramatically, and at the same time learning from a soil agronomist about “how the nutrient density of foods links back directly to the nutrient cycle in the soil,” caused them to shift their farming philosophy. From this time on, Lee and Beth adopted the belief that “as farmers and food producers, the moment we exchange food dollars for food products to the consumer, we as a farm become personally responsible for that person’s health and well-being.” And, said Hitzfield, “this is the foundational belief that drives what we’ve been doing over the last 20 years.”

NY Supreme Court Strikes Down COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate for Health Care Workers

A state Supreme Court judge in Syracuse, New York, struck down a statewide mandate for medical staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19, ruling that Gov. Kathy Hochul and the state’s health department overstepped their authority.

In a landmark ruling issued on Jan. 13, state Supreme Court Judge Gerard Neri declared the statewide COVID-19 vaccine mandate for medical staff “null, void, and of no effect.”

Hochul and the state Department of Health exceeded their authority by sidestepping the state legislature in imposing a permanent COVID-19 vaccine mandate for medical professionals, the judge wrote in the order (pdf).

Neri also found that the mandate was “arbitrary and capricious,” citing evidence that COVID-19 vaccines don’t prevent the spread of the virus, undercutting the basis for the mandate.

“In true Orwellian fashion, the Respondents acknowledge then-current COVID-19 shots do not prevent transmission,” Neri wrote, citing a Summary of Assessment of Public Comment that was entered as evidence in the case.

Possible Safety Concern With New Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Identified: CDC

Data indicates Pfizer’s new COVID-19 vaccine could cause a type of stroke in elderly people, two U.S. health agencies said on Jan. 13.

The threshold for a safety signal was met for Pfizer’s bivalent booster in the Vaccine Safety Datalink, a monitoring system run by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The signal was for ischemic stroke, a type of stroke caused by blood clotting.

The signal was triggered for people aged 65 and older, the CDC and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said in a joint statement.

Safety signals are triggered when an adverse event such as stroke happens at a certain rate following vaccination.

Signals suggest a connection between an adverse event and a vaccine but further study must be done to verify a connection.

Are Athletes Dropping Dead From the COVID Jab?

Over the past two years (2021 and 2022), more than 1,650 professional and amateur athletes have collapsed due to cardiac events and 1,148 of them proved fatal

Damar Hamlin, a 24-year-old Buffalo Bills football player went into cardiac arrest on live television after being tackled during a January 2, 2023, game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Team trainers and emergency medical staff performed CPR for more than nine minutes, which saved his life

Whether the COVID jab played a role in what happened to Hamlin is impossible to know for sure, but Dr. Peter McCullough suspects it may have played a role — provided he actually got the shot

A condition called commotio cordis is known to occur in baseball when a player is hit hard on the breastbone, thereby causing cardiac arrest. There are approximately 20 to 30 such cases each year, but never in pro football. In McCullough’s view, commotio cordis can likely be ruled out. The more likely cause for Hamlin’s cardiac arrest, he believes, is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), or abnormal thickening of the heart muscle, which is the primary cause for athletes suffering cardiac arrest

During exercise, adrenaline is pumping, and when the heart is damaged this adrenaline rush is what triggers the cardiac arrest. This helps explain not only the death of athletes on the field, or people dying while jogging, but also why so many are dying in their sleep, because adrenaline is released between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., as your body readies to wake up

Football Player – America’s Frontline Doctors

We are all praying for Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills, who suddenly collapsed last week on Monday Night Football.

What was interesting about the moment was the hit before his collapse wasn’t especially hard. Yet, he suddenly stopped being able to breathe on his own.

Melatonin as a Potential Treatment for SARS-CoV-2

More than 140 scientific studies suggest melatonin is a useful agent for treating SARS-CoV-2, according to research published in Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences

Melatonin was most often researched for its ability to suppress inflammation and the cytokine storm related to COVID-19

When people with COVID-19 were given melatonin, either alone or in combination with other treatments, severity of infection was reduced, death rate was lowered and hospitalizations were shortened

Early on during the pandemic, a number of physicians and researchers called for melatonin in the treatment of COVID-19, but it was largely ignored

Since melatonin is nonpatentable and inexpensive, there was little interest from the pharmaceutical industry or their government counterparts in promoting this compoun

Rittenhouse Rally Censored By Southern Star Brewery After Receiving Pressure From H-E-B

Southern Star Brewery has withdrawn an upcoming “Rally Against Censorship” event featuring Kyle Rittenhouse after being pressured by its sponsor H-E-B Grocery Stores.

The event was originally scheduled for January 26th and was hosted by Defiance Press Publishing. The brewery announced on its social media Friday that they had decided to yank the event, citing that they were an apolitical establishment and the event “doesn’t reflect our own values.”

The event’s organizers shortly found out that the decision only came after Southern Star was issued a threat by H-E-B to end business dealings with the brewery if they carried on with the event with Rittenhouse.

NHL Backtracks After DeSantis Alleges Discrimination in Minority-Only Hockey Event

The National Hockey League (NHL) has reacted to allegations of discrimination from the office of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by backtracking on some of the eligibility criteria for a job fair that was meant to be restricted to select minority groups.

A spokesperson for the NHL told The Epoch Times that the event—the Pathway to Hockey Summit—is now open to anyone 18 years of age or older and that the original wording for a LinkedIn announcement for the event was “not accurate.”

The NHL’s post on LinkedIn—which has since been deleted—said that the event was limited to a narrow range of job-seekers from a list of “underrepresented communities.”

“Participants must be 18 years of age or older, based in the U.S., and identify as female, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and/or a person with a disability. Veterans are also welcome and encouraged to attend,” the post stated.

A similar notice is still up on the University of Pennsylvania’s career services page, which describes the event as intended for “diverse job seekers who are pursuing careers in hockey.”

Interested attendees would be given the opportunity to meet with recruiters, with the event featuring guest speakers and panelists, and offer networking opportunities.

But the NHL post drew ire from DeSantis, who has made pushing back on progressive ideologies and policies a cornerstone of his administration.

The governor’s spokesman, Bryan Griffin, said that this type of discriminatory job posting would not be tolerated in Florida and demanded that the NHL “immediately remove and denounce the discriminatory prohibitions it has imposed” on the upcoming summit.

“Discrimination of any sort is not welcome in the state of Florida, and we do not abide by the woke notion that discrimination should be overlooked if applied in a politically popular manner or against a politically unpopular demographic,” Griffin said in a statement.

“We are fighting all discrimination in our schools and our workplaces, and we will fight it in publicly accessible places of meeting or activity,” he added.

The NHL appears to have taken heed of DeSantis’ warning, with a spokesperson for the hockey league telling The Epoch Times in an emailed statement that the “original wording of the LinkedIn post associated with the event was not accurate,” adding that the event is now open to anyone aged 18 and older.

Public School Enrollment Drops By 1.4 Million Students Posing Financial Challenges For Big Cities

Enrollment in U.S. public schools saw a one-year drop of 1.4 million in the fall of 2020, hitting a 10-year low of 49.4 million students.

The sudden decline followed annual growth averaging 3 percent for more than a decade.

Although enrollment rebounded slightly in 2021, it remains at its lowest level since 2010 prompting some districts to consider school closures and other cost-saving measures.

New York City’s public school enrollment decreased to 903,000 in 2022 according to the website Gothamist, down some 10 percent over three years.

New York Man Breaks Into School to Shelter 24 People During Blizzard, Leaves Note, Is Praised by Police

A New Yorker who broke into a school during a winter blizzard to find shelter for himself and 24 others who were stranded outside has been publically recognized by police for his good deed.

The man, identified as “Jay,” was caught on security camera breaking into Pine Hill School in Buffalo during a storm on Dec. 23. A key holder at the school received an alert that a window had been smashed, but owing to the severe weather it was some time before police could investigate.

When an officer from Cheektowaga Police Department (CPD) did arrive at the school, they found the building empty and seemingly undisturbed with a handwritten note left on a table.

Who Planted the Biden Documents?

“Alleged classified documents showing up allegedly in the possession of Joseph Biden… I’m suspicious of the timing of it,” Rep. Johnson told Fox News’ Hillary Vaughn on Thursday after a second batch of documents was found in the president’s garage in Wilmington, Delaware, next to his Corvette. “I’m also aware of the fact that things can be planted on people…things can be planted in places and then discovered conveniently. That may be what has occurred here. I’m not ruling that out. But I’m open in terms of the investigation needs to be investigated.”
