China Is “Now Moving Out Apparently to Begin the Process of Taking Control of the World” – Frank Gaffney on China’s Recent Actions

On Saturday morning Steve Bannon held a discussion on the situation with China and Taiwan and China’s efforts to rule the world.  Frank Gaffney was one of the War Room’s guests to warn about China’s recent action

Earlier this week Gaffney warned about how the US under Biden is taking actions to support China while at the same time China is at war with the US.

Gaffney in his Secure Freedom Minute discussed how China was being bolstered by the Biden regime:

As Team Biden continues to flail publicly about what, if anything, it will do if the Chinese Communist Party attacks Taiwan, the CCP’s menace is becoming ever clearer.

A leaked video of a top secret meeting on May 14th shows leaders in Guangdong Province planning the transition from “normal to war.” And hacked Chinese police data confirms the CCP’s oppression and genocide of Uyghur Muslims and other minorities.

Such revelations should bring to a screeching halt efforts to get U.S. military personnel and other government employees to invest their retirement savings in Communist Chinese companies. But will it? It’s still possible to prevent the Thrift Savings Plan from inflicting a disaster on investors and a threat to our national security.

Biden Announces He Will Send Advanced Rocket Systems to Ukraine

President Joe Biden announced in an op-ed Tuesday evening that he has decided to send advanced rocket systems to Ukraine, marking an increased capacity for Ukrainian forces to hit Russian targets as well as deeper U.S. support in the war.

He argued that the war will end with negotiations and Ukraine should be in the “strongest possible position” at the negotiating table. He said, “I’ve decided that we will provide the Ukrainians with more advanced rocket systems and munitions that will enable them to more precisely strike key targets on the battlefield in Ukraine.”

The systems reportedly include the wheeled High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), which would enable Ukraine to strike Russian forces from a farther distance than anything Ukraine has in its arsenal, at 48 miles. The systems will be included in a $700 million package the administration is expected to announce on Wednesday.

Biden denied that his administration wanted to see war between NATO and Russia, or Russian President Vladimir Putin’s ouster, or U.S. forces directly involved in the conflict.

He added, “We are not encouraging or enabling Ukraine to strike beyond its borders.”

Prior to Biden’s announcement, his administration had equivocated for weeks on whether it would send the advanced rocket systems, reportedly out of concern that Ukrainian forces could use them to strike targets inside Russia and broaden the war and NATO’s involvement in it.

In fact, Biden on Memorial Day suggested the U.S. would not be sending the systems, which could be used to hit targets inside Russia.

But the administration reportedly secured an assurance from Kyiv that the systems will not be used to strike targets on Russian soil, officials said in a background briefing before Biden’s announcement.

Stop the Spread by Not Having Sex, UK Tells Monkeypox Sufferers

British officials have told those suffering from monkeypox that they should abstain from sex in the hopes of curbing the spread of the disease.

Those showing symptoms of the monkeypox virus should avoid having sex with other people, government experts have advised those suffering from the disease.

The advice comes as officials confirm that an additional 71 cases of the rare disease were confirmed in the UK on Monday, with the current outbreak disproportionately affecting the country’s so-called “MSM” population, which stands for “men who have sex with men”.

According to the latest guidance agreed upon by all UK nations, those who are confirmed to have the disease should also make sure to use a condom for sex for eight weeks after infection, while so-called “high risk” close contacts of infected individuals have also been told that they should self-isolate for 21 days.

Pregnant women and people who are immunocompromised have also been told that they should avoid caring for someone with the disease if at all possible, with the WHO warning of the danger that the disease can lead to “congenital monkeypox” or stillbirths.

In total, 172 cases of the disease already endemic in a number of African countries have been confirmed in the UK, with it being believed that the current outbreak is the result of “risky sexual behaviour” amongst “gay and bisexual men at two raves held in Spain and Belgium”.

This has led to a mobilisation of resources with the aim of informing homosexual men about the disease, with gay dating app Grindr going so far as to send out general warning messages to its European user base regarding the outbreak.

Trump Responds After Former Clinton Lawyer Is Acquitted

Former President Donald Trump on May 31 said the legal system isn’t working properly after a jury in Washington acquitted a former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer who had been charged with lying to the FBI.

“Our Legal System is CORRUPT,” Trump said in a post on Truth Social, adding that “our Judges (and Justices!) are highly partisan, compromised, or just plain scared” before lamenting that Michael Sussmann, the lawyer, was found not guilty.

Jason Miller, a former Trump campaign aide, also reacted to the verdict, writing on Gettr that Sussmann admitted to giving opposition research to the FBI and not telling the bureau that the research was conducted for Clinton.

“How did Sussmann get off??? RIGGED SYSTEM!!!” Miller wrote.

Sussmann was accused of lying to the FBI because he said in writing that he wanted to meet with a bureau official to deliver information but that he was not acting on behalf of a client.

Prosecutors said Sussmann was acting on behalf of both the Clinton campaign and a client named Rodney Joffe, a technology executive who has said he was promised a position in the government if Clinton won the 2016 election.

The defense said Sussmann was not acting on behalf of a client, even though Sussmann previously told members of the House of Representatives under oath that he was. The defense also said that even if Sussmann was representing a client when he met with the bureau official, the statement was not material because the bureau was aware Sussmann represented the Democratic National Committee and other Democrat persons and entities.

Federal law prohibits making a false statement or representation to the government. The charge carries up to five years in jail, or up to eight years if the lie is related to international or domestic terrorism.

The jury unanimously found Sussmann not guilty.

“I don’t think it should have been prosecuted,” one juror told reporters. “There are bigger things that affect the nation than a possible lie to the FBI.”

Corrupt Media Suddenly Covers Michael Sussmann’s Acquittal After Ignoring His Criminal Trial For Weeks

After largely ignoring charges against Michael Sussmann, which alleged that the former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer lied to the FBI, the corrupt corporate media finally decided to cover the trial results when they realized Sussmann would walk away with an acquittal.

The Sussmann trial first began in mid-May as Special Counsel John Durham’s probe into the Russia collusion hoax picked up steam. The same media outlets that peddled the Clinton campaign’s Russia lies, however, deliberately ignored Sussmann’s role.

ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, and MSNBC stayed completely silent on the matter despite their history of obsessing over the debunked Steele dossier.

CNN briefly mentioned the trial but spent less than 10 minutes of coverage on it over the course of five days. As Fox News noted, “none of CNN’s coverage has come during primetime” when CNN sees a significant spike in viewership.

Even Tesla CEO and Twitter takeover hopeful Elon Musk noticed the media’s absence as key information about the Clinton campaign’s role in targeting Donald Trump’s presidential run became even more clear than before.

“Why is @abcnews ignoring this story?” he tweeted.

Now that a D.C.-based jury and judge with connections to Sussmann and the Clintons have let the Democrat off the hook, the same corporate media mouthpieces who were predictably quiet when the trial began have spoken up about why they think the decision to acquit was the right one.

“Sussmann not guilty,” Harry Litman, a legal affairs columnist for the Los Angeles Times and former Department of Justice official, tweeted. “Extremely fast verdict. more or less total humiliation for Durham. Jury presumably recognized the picayune pettiness of the case.”

Many of them used the verdict to claim the Durham investigation is a Trump-orchestrated failure and downplay their own roles in peddling the Russia collusion hoax.

After Sussmann was found not guilty, one Washington Post opinion column labeled the trial “A clever effort to try to de-Putinize Trump.”

Despite the media’s attempts to retroactively paint Sussmann’s trial as a nothingburger, Durham’s criminal charges against the lawyer provided the public with crucial evidence proving Clinton’s interference in the lead-up to the 2016 election.

Uvalde Mayor Announces Good News for Embattled School Police Chief

The police chief of the school district in Texas where a mass shooting at an elementary school took place on May 24 can assume the City Council seat to which he was previously elected, according to the city’s mayor.

Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District Police Chief Pete Arrendondo was elected to the Uvalde City Council about two weeks before the shooting. He received 126 votes, or 69 percent of the total, in the election.

“There is nothing in the City Charter, Election Code, or Texas Constitution that prohibits him from taking the oath of office,” Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin said in a statement to news outlets on May 30. “To our knowledge, we are currently not aware of any investigation of Mr. Arredondo.”

However, Arredondo, who told a local paper after being elected that he was “very excited” to take on the new role, will have to wait.

The swearing-in ceremony was scheduled for Tuesday but is being postponed due to the first funerals of those who died in the attack on Robb Elementary School.

“Our focus on Tuesday is on our families who lost loved ones,” McLaughlin said. “We begin burying our children tomorrow, the innocent victims of last week’s murders at Robb Elementary School. The special City Council meeting will not take place as scheduled.”

McLaughlin did not say when the rescheduled ceremony would take place.

70 Children Rescued From Sex Traffickers in Multi-State Operation

After a three week operation involving multiple agencies, law enforcement officers managed to locate and recover 70 missing children, most of them in West Texas, according to a May 25 news release by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The missing children and teens, many of whom were runaways, ranged in age from 10 to 17 years old and were victims of sex trafficking and physical and sexual abuse. Headed by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) El Paso, and assisted by numerous other federal, state, and local agencies, “Operation Lost Souls” ran from the end of April through mid-May El Paso, Texas, and the Texas counties of Midland, Ector, and Tom Green.

Although a majority of the children were located in West Texas, a few were also recovered from the Dallas–Fort Worth area, the state of Colorado, and Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Results of the operation were published on May 25, which is National Missing Children’s Day.

“HSI is committed to continue working with our law enforcement partners to locate, recover and help missing children heal, while ensuring that perpetrators are held responsible for these heinous crimes and brought to justice,” said Taekuk Cho, HSI El Paso’s deputy special agent in charge.

The agencies have provided victim services and counseling to the recovered children and their families.

The ICE announcement follows the capturing and charging of eight individuals connected with the alleged trafficking and exploitation of a 15-year-old girl from a Dallas Mavericks game at the American Airlines Center arena in Dallas on April 8.

The girl went missing after she separated from her father to use the bathroom. Later on, she was seen leaving the arena with an unknown man.

A few days later, the Texas Counter-Trafficking Initiative found the girl’s photos on a website associated with prostitution. She was rescued April 18 when authorities located her at an Extended Stay America hotel in Oklahoma City.

“We are thankful for the work of the Oklahoma City Police Department and the recovery of our daughter. My heart breaks for the unimaginable things my daughter had to endure for the 11 days she was taken, and I am so glad she is safe as we work toward her recovery,” the girl’s mother said in a May 5 statement, according to multiple media outlets.

Upon her disappearance from the arena, the father of the girl was instructed to return back home. According to Texas law, in the absence of evidence of kidnapping, missing children are registered as runaways.

Despite pleas from the father, the Dallas Police Department refused to open an investigation into the matter, according to Zeke Fortenberry, the family’s attorney.

“The systems and organizations involved in this case continually failed the victim. She should never have had contact with the man at the Mavericks game,” Fortenberry said, according to Fox News. “This victim’s life will forever be changed.”

Due to the nature of the investigation, further information regarding the 70 recovered children has not been released by the HSI.

Republican Congressman Says He Would Vote for an Assault Weapons Ban

A Republican U.S. congressman on May 27 said he would vote for a ban of so-called assault weapons.

“I want to be completely transparent of where I am in Congress,” said Rep. Chris Jacobs (R-N.Y.). “If an assault weapons ban bill came to the floor that would ban something like an AR-15, I would vote for it.”

Democrats for years have tried getting such a ban reimposed.

The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act included a ban on some semi-automatic guns, which it defined as assault weapons. But the ban expired in 2004 after 10 years.

Following several recent mass shootings, a number of Democrats renewed calls to pass a similar ban.

“We need to pass common sense policies like an assault weapons ban to stop these attacks,” Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) said in a statement.

“There is a lot Congress can do to prevent mass shootings: assault weapon bans, better background checks, high-capacity magazine bans,” added Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.).

Republicans have largely said that they oppose such a broad move, though some are considering making compromises with Democrats to pass gun-related legislation.

“Part of I think what some of us are still looking at is: is there a way to identify these individuals that have this propensity [to carry out the shootings]?” Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) told reporters this week.

Jacobs said that he is supportive of a range of ideas, including proposals that would limit the size of magazines that people can obtain and increase the age one must be to buy AR-15-style guns from 18 to 21. He also plans to write a bill that would ban civilians from buying body armor.

“I’m speaking out because I think that it’s something we need to discuss because I can’t in good conscience sit back and say I didn’t try to do something,” said Jacobs, who currently represents New York’s 27th Congressional District and is running for another term in the newly redrawn 23rd Congressional District. Jacobs acknowledged that speaking out for reforms largely supported by Democrats could harm his chances of winning reelection, though he does not yet have a Republican challenger.

Another “Gun Free” Zone School Shooting? – Time to Hold Politicians Accountable (Commentary by By Bradlee Dean)

“So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.” -1 Samuel 13:22

We all know that the best way to ensure the enslavement of men is to disarm them.

“To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.” -George Mason

Not only does disarmament mean to enslave but it also means to take away one’s ability to protect themselves.

Lt. Col Jeff Cooper said:

“If a violent crime is to be curbed, it is only the intended victim who can do it. The felon does not fear the police, and he fears neither judge nor jury. Therefore what he must be taught to fear is his victim.”

Most recently, there is a report of another school shooting.

The irony here is that, once again, it happened in a “gun free” zone. This is illegal at every given step to disarm any law abiding citizen (Psalm 94:20).

One has to only ask themselves the question, why is it that after mass shootings take place that a majority of them take place in unconstitutional “gun-free zones,” which the mainstream media and their “useful idiots” are always blaming the law-abiding gun owners for the crimes of the assailants? (Hosea 4:6)  The mainstream media is continuously magnifying the crime and omitting the law (Isaiah 59).

Jesus said, “When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils (Luke 11:21-22).”

The first president of the United States George Washington said:

“The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference.”

The third president of the United States Thomas Jefferson said:

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms … those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes… Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage rather than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”

Friends, it is time to hold politicians and agencies legally accountable for their crimes against the innocent (Psalm 94:20).

Why are Kids Killing Kids?

(Commentary by Lex Greene)

While the politicians and their bullhorn (the US News Media) focus everyone on the inanimate object, guns, as they both seek to disarm all law-abiding citizens under the guise of “children’s safety,” the elephant in the room is,why are kids killing kids with increasing regularity?

We all agree, these school shootings must stop. The level of pure evil insanity required to carry out such a heinous act is beyond comprehension. Yet, with a little honest effort, we can find the answer to the most important question concerning these events…why are kids killing kids at an alarming rate…and then put a stop to it.

Consider the following facts related to the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history, according to official FBI reports displayed in a recent FOX 7 report from Austin Texas.

Between 1999 and today, these ten events are the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history, according to official reports. What do these ten events have in common?

  • Seven (7) shooters were under the age of 21, six (6) of them still teenagers between 16 and 19 years old.
  • Every event took place in a “gun free zone.” The shooter was the ONLY person armed.
  • Despite any efforts, law enforcement was unable to prevent any of these events.
  • Each shooter violated numerous laws to carry out their crime.
  • Each shooter was unpopular in society, often with prior treatment for mental illness.
  • Each shooter was from a broken home, with little or no parental influence.
  • Nearly all of the younger shooters were online gamers, violent games their favorite.
  • Every shooter was mad at the world.
  • None of the shooters had any regard at all for human life.
  • Five (5) of the ten (10) events were carried out by shooters of foreign origin.

There are only two anomalies on the list of events above.

  1. 2006 Nickel Mines Amish School where 32 year-old Jewish shooter Charles Carl Roberts IV attacked an Amish school on the basis of race and religion.
  2. 2012 Oikos University where 43 year-old One Goh stated he attacked the school seeking a full refund of tuition, unhappy with life on campus.

In the cases of 2007Virginia Tech, 23 year-old Seung-Hui Cho, and 2015 Umpqua Community College, 26 year-old Christopher Harper-Mercer, both were allegedly triggered by being outcasts on the college campus. Cho was on both Prozac and Paxil at the time of his mass murder. Mercer, who lived with his single mother and had no contact with his father, listed his hobbies and interests as “Internet, killing zombies, movies, music, reading.” He also belonged to an online group titled “Doesn’t Like Organized Religion.”

Even before looking into the background of this special type of killer, it should be obvious to everyone that every mass shooter of this type has a major mental and emotional malfunction. Sane people simply do not do things like this…

Equally obvious is the fact that guns don’t kill, people do. In fact, for every case of gun violence in the USA, there is on average, 2.7 cases where innocent lives were saved because someone decent was armed.

  • Approximately 2/3 of all gun deaths in the USA are acts of suicide, not homicide.
  • Approximately 90% of the gun deaths that are homicide, occur in the middle of another crime, drug running, gang activity, etc.

Criminal profiling is not profiling on the basis of race, creed, or color. Criminal profiling is based upon experience, a collection of facts surrounding certain types of criminal activities. If I use the data presented in this column to offer up a profile of the average school shooter, it will look something like this…

  • Male shooters
  • Between age 15-21
  • From a broken home, raised by a single parent or grandparents
  • Addicted to violent videos and games
  • Loners, few if any friends
  • Failing in school, career, relationships, and life itself
  • Void of any faith-based belief structure
  • Often casual or prescription drug abusers
  • Past indications of mental and/or emotional illness
  • Mad at the world, chronic victimhood mentality
  • Zero regard for the gift of human life itself

A serious conversation needs to begin on why this group of young people are killing with increasing regularity. In the first five months of 2022, a new record has been set with at least 229 mass shooting events in the USA January-May, according to official reports. That puts the nation on track for a record year of such events, projected to be more than 550 such events by year-end.

A few more facts to consider in our joint effort to prevent these types of events in the future.

  • Guns don’t kill just like cars, bats, knives, or any other inanimate object, don’t kill. People do.
  • Mass shootings only happen in “gun free zones” where ONLY the shooter is armed.
  • Law enforcement is incapable of preventing events like this.
  • Every person or building that relies solely on armed law enforcement for their safety, is a “soft target.”
  • Mass shooters only target “unarmed” victims.
  • 9% of gunowners never use their weapons to commit a crime of any type.
  • Every politician or TV personality aiming to disarm law-abiding citizens, are protected by armed guards.
  • Most of these shootings were with a handgun, not any alleged “assault rifle.”
  • Uneducated people think the “AR” in AR-15 means “Assault Rifle.” The AR in AR-15 stands for “Armalite Rifle.”It does not stand for “assault rifle” but is instead a semi-automatic rifle that shoots one time per trigger pull. The U.S. Military does NOT carry AR-15s.
  • Disarming 300M law-abiding citizens isn’t even possible, but if it were, it wouldn’t save a single life. In fact, it would cost many more lives.

There’s an old saying that goes something like this, “When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.” Nowhere does that saying ring truer than in these mass shooting events.

Unless you want to turn every school into a prison on total lockdown at all times, or live in a police state, where every citizen is a soft target for armed evildoers, we must stop the lies behind the all-out assault on the U.S. 2nd Amendment immediately and focus on the elephant in the room.

Who is teaching and inspiring these kids to kill kids at an alarming rate? Why do these kids look ahead in life and see no hope? This is the only way to stop what’s happening to our children in the USA today.

Talk about more gun regulations only distracts from the real problem and would leave the entire nation a “soft target” for all sorts of evil. Thankfully, the USA is not Canada or the EU. Americans will never give up their rights.

America, Meet Your New Dictator-in-Chief: The President’s Secret, Unchecked Powers

(Commentary by John Whitehead)

America, meet your new dictator-in-chief.

As the New York Times reports, “Newly disclosed documents have shed a crack of light on secret executive branch plans for apocalyptic scenarios—like the aftermath of a nuclear attack—when the president may activate wartime powers for national security emergencies.”

The problem, of course, is that we have become a nation in a permanent state of emergency.

Power-hungry and lawless, the government has weaponized one national crisis after another in order to expand its powers and justify all manner of government tyranny in the so-called name of national security.

The seeds of this present madness were sown almost two decades ago when George W. Bush stealthily issued two presidential directives that granted the president the power to unilaterally declare a national emergency, which is loosely defined as “any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.

Comprising the country’s Continuity of Government (COG) plan, these directives (National Security Presidential Directive 51 and Homeland Security Presidential Directive 20) provide a skeletal outline of the actions the president will take in the event of a “national emergency.”

Just what sort of actions the president will take once he declares a national emergency can barely be discerned from the barebones directives. However, one thing is clear: in the event of a national emergency, the COG directives give unchecked executive, legislative and judicial power to the president.

The country would then be subjected to martial law by default, and the Constitution and the Bill of Rights would be suspended.

Essentially, the president would become a dictator for life.

It has happened already.

As we have witnessed in recent years, that national emergency can take any form, can be manipulated for any purpose and can be used to justify any end goal—all on the say so of the president.

The emergency powers that we know about which presidents might claim during such states of emergency are vast, ranging from imposing martial law and suspending habeas corpus to shutting down all forms of communications, including implementing an internet kill switch, and restricting travel.

Yet according to documents recently obtained by the Brennan Center, there may be many more secret powers that presidents may institute in times of so-called crisis without oversight from Congress, the courts, or the public.

It doesn’t even matter what the nature of the crisis might be—civil unrest, the national emergencies, “unforeseen economic collapse, loss of functioning political and legal order, purposeful domestic resistance or insurgency, pervasive public health emergencies, and catastrophic natural and human disasters”—as long as it allows the government to justify all manner of government tyranny in the name of so-called national security.

The war on COVID-19, the war on terror, the war on drugs, the war on illegal immigration: all of these programs started out as responses to pressing national concerns and have since become weapons of compliance and control in the police state’s hands.

Deploying the same strategy it used with 9/11 to acquire greater powers under the USA Patriot Act, the police state—a.k.a. the shadow government, a.k.a. the Deep State—has been planning and preparing for such crises for years now, quietly assembling a wish list of presidential lockdown powers that could be trotted out and approved at a moment’s notice.

Indeed, the Trump Administration even asked Congress to allow it to suspend parts of the Constitution whenever it deems it necessary during the COVID-19 crisis and “other” emergencies. The Department of Justice (DOJ) went so far as to quietly trot out and test a long laundry list of terrifying powers that override the Constitution.

We’re talking about lockdown powers (at both the federal and state level): the ability to suspend the Constitution, indefinitely detain American citizens, bypass the courts, quarantine whole communities or segments of the population, override the First Amendment by outlawing religious gatherings and assemblies of more than a few people, shut down entire industries and manipulate the economy, muzzle dissidents, “stop and seize any plane, train or automobile to stymie the spread of contagious disease,” reshape financial markets, create a digital currency (and thus further restrict the use of cash), determine who should live or die.

These are powers the police state would desperately like to make permanent.

In such a climate, the American president becomes dictator with permanent powers: imperial, unaccountable and unconstitutional.

Uvalde Police Department No Longer Cooperating with Texas Investigation of Deadly Mass Shooting

The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde School District are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s investigation into last Tuesday’s deadly mass shooting, ABC News reported.

Last Tuesday 18-year-old Salvador Ramos fatally shot 19 children and 2 adults at Robb Elementary School.

According to multiple reports, the shooter, Salvador Ramos, spent more than 40 minutes inside as loved ones and onlookers begged the police to charge into the building.

Police arrived 4 minutes after the shooting began, but Ramos continued on with his killing spree virtually uninterrupted.

Ramos was inside of a classroom killing children whilst police and other law enforcement officers targeted desperate parents trying to save their children.

According to ABC News, the Uvalde Police Department has stopped cooperating with Texas investigators.

ABC News reported:

The Uvalde Police Department and the Uvalde Independent School District police force are no longer cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Safety’s investigation into the massacre at Robb Elementary School and the state’s review of the law enforcement response, multiple law enforcement sources tell ABC News.

The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Independent School District did not immediately respond to requests for comment from ABC News.

According to sources, the decision to stop cooperating occurred soon after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a news conference Friday during which he said the delayed police entry into the classroom was “the wrong decision” and contrary to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety said, “The Uvalde Police Department and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police provided an initial interview but has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago.”

“My victory came from my connection and relationship with our local community. The local community rallied around us, and that’s what helped carry us to victory,” Jones said.

By contrast, Walton, a public defender who ran on a progressive platform, raised only $23,890 during her campaign.

A month before the election, billionaire George Soros poured $321,000 into a newly formed PAC called Arkansas Justice and Public Safety. Nearly $268,800 was spent from that PAC in support of Walton, according to financial disclosures published by the secretary of state.

Soros has a record of supporting progressive prosecutor candidates across the country.

The out-of-state money for Walton got Jones nervous, he acknowledged. It also turned off a group of locals, including Little Rock resident Frederick Gentry. Gentry has been involved in local politics for years.

“It is important that you raise money from within the state versus from outside of the state. I think that says a lot about one’s campaign and their ability to reach out to people in the communities,” Gentry said.

Walton told The Epoch Times that Soros didn’t communicate directly with her campaign. She said the billionaire’s money helped first-time minority candidates like her to level the playing field.

“My campaign went up against the establishment in Arkansas, including the well-known Democrats, a subset of the Republican Party, and the entire prosecutors’ office. They made sure that my opponent was well-funded. For me, I only had two full-time volunteers,” Walton told The Epoch Times.

ECONOMY & BUSINESS

Yellen: ‘I Was Wrong’ about Inflation, ‘Didn’t Fully Understand’ Supply Bottlenecks

During an interview aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen admitted that she “was wrong” about inflation and that while “unanticipated and large shocks to the economy” are a part of the reason, she also “didn’t fully understand” supply bottlenecks that have hurt the economy.

Yellen reacted to clips of her downplaying the inflation threat in 2021 by stating, “I think I was wrong then about the path that inflation would take. As I mentioned, there have been unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices, and supply bottlenecks that have affected our economy badly that I didn’t — at the time, didn’t fully understand. But we recognize that now the Federal Reserve is taking the steps that it needs to take. It’s up to them to decide what to do. And for our part, President Biden is focused on supplementing what the Fed does with actions we can take to lower the cost that Americans face for important expenditures they have in their budgets. Prescription drugs is one example, healthcare costs…utility bills, if Congress is willing to pass some of the proposals to boost the use of nonrenewables, I think that can serve to bring down an important cost that households face. He realizes, we all realize what an important and huge burden inflation is placing on American households.”

Poll: Most Americans Blame Biden, Not Russia, for Rampant Inflation in the U.S

Most Americans blame President Joe Biden, not Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, for rampant inflation plaguing the U.S., a Convention of States Action/Trafalgar Group survey released Tuesday found.

Most respondents, 59.9 percent, identified Biden’s policies and spending as the “leading contributor” to rising inflation in the U.S. compared to 31.6 percent who attributed it to Russia’s war with Ukraine.

Biden to Meet With Baby Formula Makers on Alleviating Shortage

President Joe Biden will meet with major infant formula manufacturers on Wednesday as his administration presses ahead with efforts to boost imported supplies to help ease a nationwide shortage.

The meeting comes multiple global suppliers are seeking U.S. approval to ship in the critical infant food as Biden’s administration seeks to accelerate what it has dubbed Operation Fly Formula to help fill store shelves.

U.S. parents have struggled to find baby formula in recent months as supplies suffered after a February recall of some formulas by one of the nation’s main manufacturers, Abbott Laboratories, coupled with other pandemic-related supply chain issues.

The Biden administration has relaxed its import policy and invoked the Defense Production Act to help increase available U.S. supplies, which is still expected to take weeks. It has also said it could use federal resources to help transport supplies to retailers.

Two million cans of formula have been sent from the UK, and Australian manufacturers are also preparing to send in more products.

Scientists concluded, “We don’t understand this system as well as we thought we did.’ Yet, the Chief Medical Officer of Moderna (mRNA “vaccines”) said, “We are actually hacking the software of life. We think about it as an operating system. So if you could actually change that, if you could introduce a line of code, or change a line of code, it turns out it has profound implications for everything.”

Politicians would do well to place a moratorium on all genetic editing on any and all species of live on planet earth! ⁃ TN Editor

A team of scientists in the US have accidentally created overly-aggressive mutant hamsters following a gene-editing experiment.

Using the controversial CRISPR technology, researchers at Northwestern University were examining a hormone called vasopressin and its receptor, Avpr1a.

They opted to try and remove the latter from a group of Syrian hamsters, with the expectation it would increase bonding and co-operation between the lovable little critters.

That’s because Avpr1a is understood to regulate things like teamwork and friendship as well as dominance and bonding.

Their expectation proved to be wrong. Very wrong.

‘We were really surprised at the results,’ said Professor H Elliot Albers, the lead researcher on the study.

‘We anticipated that if we eliminated vasopressin activity, we would reduce both aggression and social communication.

‘But the opposite happened.’

The academics found the adorable bundles of fluff turned into mutant rage monsters exhibiting ‘high levels of aggression towards other same-sex individuals’.

All hamsters, regardless of genotype or sex, exhibited aggression (including chasing, biting, and pinning) when exposed to a nonaggressive, same-sex conspecific in a neutral arena.

Professor Albert admitted the results of the experiment were a ‘startling conclusion’.

The Great Reset Snakes Are Slithering Together in Davos

The Great Reset involves the demolition and radical overhaul of several interlocking pillars of civilization: technology, society, economy, environment and geopolitics. Food and health also fall within these categories

Through control of these core pillars, the World Economic Forum (WEF) and its globalist allies intend to seize control of all the nations of the world and centralize all power and wealth

The WEF is an organization that profits from famine and disease; it uses tragedies and fear to further its own agenda. It intends to dictate what you eat, what you own and what you think, under the guise of building a “sustainable future”

The WEF-led cabal believes in transhumanist and technocratic principles, and the technocratic system requires extensive surveillance and artificial intelligence-driven technologies to keep everyone in check

Technocrats actually believe they’re better, more evolved than the rest, and this superiority gives them the right to decide the fate of mankind. They also reject the notion of free will. Once you understand this basic mindset, it’s easier to understand why they think nothing of stripping you of your freedom and ability to make choices for yourself

“Virtual babies” Who Grow Up in Real Time Will be Commonplace by 2070, Expert Predicts

The overpopulation crisis could be solved within 50 years thanks to the evolution of “virtual children,” one of Britain’s leading artificial intelligence experts claims. Computer-generated babies that cost about $25 a month are likely to become commonplace by the early-2070s, according to Catriona Campbell.

In addition to her expertise in AI, Campbell is also one of the UK’s top authorities in emerging and disruptive technologies, and a former UK Government adviser. She says by 2070, augmented reality (AR) and haptic “touch-sensitive” gloves will make the experience potentially “lifelike.”

By that time, up to one-in-five parents may decide to opt for a digital baby over a real one, she believes. It will create what is being dubbed the “Tamagotchi Generation” – the first cohort of environmentally-friendly digital children who will not deplete the planet of any of its natural resources. Instead, they will exist only in the virtual metaverse – a sort of 3D internet – where they will grow up in real time and come to life at the touch of a button.

How will ‘virtual parenting’ work?

Parents will see and interact with their offspring through next-generation AR glasses and haptic gloves. These devices allow users to experience a realistic sense of touch when handling virtual or holographic objects.

They will cost nothing to feed, take up no space, and remain healthy for as long as they are programmed to “live.” And they could be accessible through a Netflix-type subscription service for as little as $25 (£20) per month. While the concept might seem “unpalatable”, it represents a viable, long-term solution to birth control without preventing people from having children, according to Campbell.

An estimated 350,000 babies are already born worldwide each day, far outnumbering the number of deaths. But by the year 2100, it is estimated that the world’s total population could have exploded to 11 billion, with overcrowded mega-cities rife with crime, disease, and extreme food shortages.

A 2020 YouGov study into why couples choose not have children concludes that nearly 10 percent remain childless because of overpopulation concerns. Another10 percent choose not to start a family because of the cost of raising a child.

Campbell was recently inducted into the BIMA Digital Hall of Fame alongside Sir Tim Berners-Lee, Stephen Fry and Dragon’s Den star Steven Bartlett, for her work in human-computer interaction. Her predictions about the future of AI and its impact on humanity are detailed in her new book, AI by Design: A Plan For Living With Artificial Intelligence, which hits the shelves this week.

Virtual children may seem like a giant leap from where we are now, but within 50 years technology will have advanced to such an extent that babies which exist in the metaverse are indistinct from those in the real world,” she says in a statement, per SWNS. “As the metaverse evolves, I can see virtual children becoming an accepted and fully embraced part of society in much of the developed world.

“Based on studies into why couples choose to remain childless, I think it would be reasonable to expect as many as 20 percent of people choosing to have an AR baby over a real one,” she continues. “This will lead to the first, fully digital demographic which, although somewhat strange on first appearance, in fact represents what could be one of mankind’s most important technological breakthroughs since the advent of the Bronze Age given its potential impact on global populations and societal change.”

Remote Learning Apps: Children’s Data Shared At ‘Dizzying Scale’

Millions of children had their online behaviors and personal information tracked by the apps and websites they used for school during the pandemic, according to an international investigation that raises concerns about the impact remote learning had on children’s privacy online.

The educational tools were recommended by school districts and offered interactive math and reading lessons to children as young as prekindergarten. But many of them also collected students’ information and shared it with marketers and data brokers, who could then build data profiles used to target the children with ads that follow them around the Web.

Those findings come from the most comprehensive study to date on the technology that children and parents relied on for nearly two years as basic education shifted from schools to homes.

Researchers with the advocacy group Human Rights Watch analyzed 164 educational apps and websites used in 49 countries, and they shared their findings with The Washington Post and 12 other news organizations around the world. The consortium, EdTech Exposed, was coordinated by the investigative nonprofit the Signals Network and conducted further reporting and technical review.

What the researchers found was alarming: nearly 90 percent of the educational tools were designed to send the information they collected to ad-technology companies, which could use it to estimate students’ interests and predict what they might want to buy.

Researchers found that the tools sent information to nearly 200 ad-tech companies, but that few of the programs disclosed to parents how the companies would use it. Some apps hinted at the monitoring in technical terms in their privacy policies, the researchers said, while many others made no mention at all.

The websites, the researchers said, shared users’ data with online ad giants including Facebook and Google. They also requested access to students’ cameras, contacts or locations, even when it seemed unnecessary to their schoolwork. Some recorded students’ keystrokes, even before they hit “submit.”

The “dizzying scale” of the tracking, the researchers said, showed how the financial incentives of the data economy had exposed even the youngest Internet users to “inescapable” privacy risks — even as the companies benefited from a major revenue stream.

“Children,” lead researcher Hye Jung Han wrote, were “just as likely to be surveilled in their virtual classrooms as adults shopping in the world’s largest virtual malls.”

School districts and the sites’ creators defended their use, with some companies saying researchers had erred by including in their study homepages for the programs, which included tracking codes, instead of limiting their analysis to the internal student pages, which they said contained fewer or no trackers. The researchers defended the work by noting that students often had to sign in on the homepages before their lessons could begin.

The coronavirus pandemic abruptly upended the lives of children around the world, shuttering schools for more than 1.5 billion students within the span of just a few weeks. Though some classrooms have reopened, tens of millions of students remain remote, and many now depend on education apps for the bulk of their school days.

Yet there has been little public discussion of how the companies that provided the programs remote schooling depends on may have profited from the pandemic windfall of student data.

The learning app Schoology, for example, says it has more than 20 million users and is used by 60,000 schools across some of the United States’ largest school districts. The study identified code in the app that would have allowed it to extract a unique identifier from the student’s phone, known as an advertising ID, that marketers often use to track people across different apps and devices and to build a profile on what products they might want to buy.

Antibiotics Linked to Inflammatory Bowel Disease

People over 60 who have used antibiotics may be at increased risk of developing inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

Use of antibiotics was associated with a 64% increased risk of developing IBD, and the risk increased with additional doses

Compared with those who had taken no antibiotics in the previous five years, risk of IBD in those who received five or more antibiotics prescriptions increased by 236%

All classes of antibiotics were associated with increased IBD risk, but fluoroquinolones had the most notable association

Antibiotics have also been linked to an increased risk of bowel cancer, heart attack and stroke

Probiotics can help improve cognitive function and ward off dementia, including Alzheimer’s

Elderly Alzheimer’s patients who received a probiotic milk product containing Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Lactobacillus fermentum for 12 weeks significantly improved their cognition scores, while controls continued to decline

The level of inflammatory markers also dropped by 18% in the probiotic treatment group, while inflammatory markers rose by 45% in the control group

The Bifidobacterium breve strain A1 may be of particular use in Alzheimer’s treatment. Daily oral administration of B. breve A1 reduced the cognitive dysfunction normally induced by amyloid beta in mice

Probiotics can inhibit neurodegeneration by modulating the inflammatory process, counteracting oxidative stress, modulating CNS functions mediated by bacteria-derived metabolites such as short-chain fatty acids, and inhibiting pathogenesis via alteration of gut microbiota composition

Slowed Walking Could Signal Increased Risk for Dementia

f you’re a senior and walking to the mailbox takes longer than it used to, new research suggests you might want to ask your doctor to check your thinking skills.

The study included nearly 17,000 adults over 65 and found those who walk about 5% slower or more each year and also had memory declines were the most likely to develop dementia.

The findings were published May 31 in the journal JAMA Network Open.

“These results highlight the importance of gait in dementia risk assessment,” corresponding study author Taya Collyer, a research fellow at Peninsula Clinical School at Monash University in Victoria, Australia, told CNN.

The findings echo those of a 2020 study of nearly 9,000 U.S. adults that found an association between slowed walking speed and memory decline and future risk of dementia.

Research suggests the link between walking speed and decreasing mental function may be due to shrinking in the right hippocampus, a part of the brain that handles learning, memories and the ability to find your way around, CNN reported.

At the same time, previous studies have also found that aerobic exercise such as brisk walking, running, swimming, cycling and dancing can enlarge the hippocampus and improve some areas of memory.

California Shuts Off Water To Farmers To Save Fish

As a former rice farmer in northern California, I can testify to the stupidity and insanity of environmentalists who favor obscure fish over humans. Water to farmers is now below growing levels and will cause devastation to the 2022 rice industry, taking down farmers as well as all related industries. The fact that the world is facing a major food shortage means nothing to these environmental zealots. ⁃ TN Editor

Colusa County in Northern California is the top producer of rice in the Sacramento Valley. Colusa County historically produces more than 150,000 acres of rice in a normal year. But in 2022, Colusa officials say they will only be able to produce a fraction of their usual rice crop, costing rice farmers, workers and suppliers hundreds of millions of dollars.

“In April 2022, the water districts serving Colusa County were given their final allocation for the 2022 growing season – 0.4-acre feet per acre,” Colusa County officials said in a statement. “This allocation is not enough to support rice production, and estimates show that the Sacramento Valley will fallow 370,000 of 450,000 acres in the Sacramento River Settlement Contractors service area, primarily in Colusa and Glenn Counties. Currently, less than 7,000 acres are estimated to be planted in Colusa County, resulting in a direct financial loss to growers in excess of $270 million.”

The first 50% of California’s water flows out to the Pacific Ocean for fish and environmental purposes – something the Public Policy Institute of California verified in 2019: “Water in California is shared across three main sectors. Statewide, average water use is roughly 50% environmental, 40% agricultural, and 10% urban.”

Colusa County officials hosted a legislative tour and informative briefing for Assemblywoman Cecilia Aguiar-Curry (D-Winters), “highlighting the crisis-level economic impacts resulting from the unprecedented drought and winter freeze.”

“The event concluded with a request for local assistance.”

The Globe spoke with Colusa County Administrator Wendy Tyler about the meeting with Assemblywoman Aguiar-Curry, and what the county is facing this year after the February Freeze and latest water allocation cuts.

Tyler said their meeting and message was “very well received,” and noted that the Assemblywoman has an agriculture background and understands their plight.

Tyler described the devastation of the county’s agriculture industry similar to what Covid lockdowns did to businesses in urban cities. “We need a payroll protection plan and rental assistance,” Tyler said. “We have the third largest farm worker housing in the state. Thousands of people come to Colusa County every season, and work with Colusa County’s own people. Their children go to Colusa schools, so when they aren’t here it impacts our ADA.”

She said when growers can’t plant, suppliers are hurt – everyone from equipment suppliers to the people who make the bags for farm products. Specifically, this also impacts mills, aerial applicators, crop dusters, pesticide and fertilizer dealers, and ground applicators.

“The economic devastation is unprecedented,” Tyler said. “People aren’t dying, but businesses and communities are.”

California ranks as the second-largest rice-growing state in the United States. “California rice is highly prized all over the world—particularly in Asia and the Middle East. In 2019, more than 498,000 acres of rice were planted on 1,100 farms, Think Rice reports. Rice production contributes more than $775 million to the state economy.”

In addition to the drought and water crisis, Tyler said in February Colusa County and much of the Sacramento Valley experienced a devastating freeze, resulting in a 74 percent loss of local almond crops. The estimated direct financial loss to growers is nearly $210 million. Tyler said the impacts are felt by businesses related to growing almonds, dryers and processors, and added that growers are concerned about future labor shortages.

Tyler said they spoke with Assemblywoman Aguiar-Curry about receiving economic help, “especially going into the budget with the $86 billion budget surplus.”

Colusa County’s request of Assemblywoman Aguiar-Curry’s office is for an economic bridge to support and assist the industry through this crisis. Without assistance, Colusa County officials say generations of local heritage and their place in the global market are at risk. They say it is critical that the State develop and deploy local programs to help assist the industry through this historic crisis.

Tyler added, “The budget surplus should go to a rainy day fund, but how about the day it doesn’t rain?”

Huge Fire at Minnesota Commercial Egg Farm Kills Thousands of Chickens

A fire at a large commercial egg farm in Minnesota left thousands of chickens dead, officials confirmed over the Memorial Day Weekend.

The fire started late Saturday night at a Forsman Farms facility in Stockholm Township, Minnesota, officials told local media. Reports said the blaze occurred at a barn that houses manure and chickens.

Deputies with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office told Fox9 in Minneapolis that the primary building involved in the fire was seriously damaged, while surrounding structures were only lightly damaged. The office also estimated that there were likely 200,000 chickens in the barn when the fire occurred.

Officials told the station they don’t believe the fire was caused by criminal activity. They added that a state fire marshal is investigating the cause.

Meanwhile, Forsman Farms issued a statement in response to the blaze. A spokesperson described the incident as a “tragic accident.”

“Overnight, a fire destroyed one of our barns at our Howard Lake farm,” Forsman Farms said in a statement to local media. “No one was injured and we are grateful that first responders were quickly on scene to put out the fire. Unfortunately, chickens were lost because of the fire. We are evaluating the extent of the damage—which appears to be confined to a single structure—as well as investigating the cause of the fire.”

Another spokesman, Jon Austin, told KARE11 that they’re estimating that tens of thousands of chickens perished in the blaze.

Neighbors of the farm recalled that the fire spread quickly.

“It was unbelievable how quick it grew, it was insane,” neighbor Andy Trebesch told CBS Minnesota. “It was the whole sky, it was quite large.”

Meanwhile, the price of eggs is expected to rise as much as 21 percent by the end of this year, up from previous estimates of 6 percent to 7 percent, according to data released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture last week. An outbreak of avian influenza impacting chicken and other poultry farms has also caused a spike in prices.

Recent fires at food processing plants across the United States have raised concerns about shortages, layoffs, and price increases. The National Fire Protection Association has said that U.S. fire departments respond to an estimated average of 1,210 fires on warehouse properties every year.

As of 2019, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said the United States had 38,821 food and beverage manufacturing establishments, meaning that only around 0.0004 percent of the U.S. food and beverage manufacturing facilities have been affected by significant fires in recent months.

“Unfortunately, accidents happen in any industry,” Sam Gazdziak, a spokesman for the American Association of Meat Processors told The Epoch Times earlier this month. “You can take a lot of steps to prevent them, but they are just tragic accidents.”

“While nobody is targeting meat plants or any other kind of plants, this is an opportunity for you to review your fire safety plans and also review your insurance policies,” Gazdziak said. “From what we’ve seen in the past, companies can recover from a fire. The fire itself is not the danger to the existence of the company; it’s having an insufficient amount of insurance or an insurance company that just won’t work with you … that could be the deal-breaker.”

26-Year-Old Graduate Died from Blood Clots on His Brain Less Than Two Weeks After Receiving Covid Shot – Inquest Says Staff ‘Reassured Him’ of No Risks

A 26-year-old graduate from Coventry University died from a blood clot on his brain after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine. An inquest heard that the automotive design graduate was given out-of-date information about the risks of blood clots.

Jack Hurn, from Redditch, died in June last year, less than two weeks after receiving the jab at a vaccine hub in Dudley, county of West Midlands, England.

Hurn’s girlfriend, who also took the vaccine, claimed that the medical staff reassured them that the vaccine was safe. The couple asked the staff for an alternative vaccine as they were “aware of concerns around the use of AstraZeneca for younger people,” but they were told no other vaccines were available, the lawyers said last week.

A week-long inquest at Birmingham Coroner’s Court was told that a GP informed Jack Hurn the risk of blood clots on the brain for his age group was one in 250,000 when the latest NHS guidance estimated it to be one in 50,000, iTV reported.

The inquest heard the Coventry University automotive design graduate opted to go ahead with his first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine on May 29 2021, after being told the Revival Fires vaccination hub in Dudley had no stock of the Pfizer jab.

Mr Hurn – whose girlfriend Alex Jones also received the AstraZeneca vaccine at the clinic – became unwell eight days after the jab and died in hospital on June 11 despite emergency surgery.

NHS guidance at the time was for patients aged under 40 to be offered an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine, although they could decide on “an informed choice” to receive it.

Recording a narrative verdict on Friday, area coroner for Birmingham Emma Brown said: “It is agreed that Jack was told the risk was one in 250,000.

“There can be no doubt that he took that on board.

“At that time the Joint Committee in Vaccines and Immunisation had advised that it was preferable that adults under 40 without underlying conditions be offered an alternative to the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.

“But people could make an informed choice to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine for earlier protection.”

Ms Brown added: “Jack was not given all of the information to make an informed choice.

“In particular the risk of complications for his age group was understated.”

A spokesman for NHS England in the Midlands said: “Our sincere condolences are with Jack Hurn’s family and friends for the tragic loss that they have suffered, and we recognise how difficult it will have been to relive the events this week.

“A number of immediate actions were taken as a result of the incident, and we will continue to work with our partners in respect to the coroner’s findings.”
