EU Backs Dutch Scheme to Forcibly Shut Down Thousands of Farms, Ban Farmers From Returning to Agriculture Forever

The European Commission in Brussels has backed a scheme by the globalist government of Prime Minister Mark Rutte in the Netherlands that would see thousands of farms shut down in order to comply with EU climate goals.

On Tuesday, the governing arm of the European Union officially threw its support behind plans by the Dutch government to buy out thousands of farmers from their lands in order to meet the EU’s Natura 2000 scheme to protect certain environments. The plan, which would offer farmers 120 per cent of the value of their farm, could see some 3,000 so-called “peak” emitters of nitrogen shut down.

$100 Million Offer Made to Tucker Carlson for New Broadcast Role

On Tuesday, Valuetainment Television made a public $100 million, five-year contract offer to Tucker Carlson, plus ownership shares in the company. Carlson is still under contract to News Corp., however, and his Tucker Carlson Today shows are still in the archive lineup. But his sidelining has created a media feeding frenzy. Newsmax also seems to be in the hunt. Representative Ilhan Omar  (D-MN) said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “All In” that former Fox News host Tucker Carlson was the “king of hate.”

Guest host Mehdi Hasan said, “Of course, this Islamophobia, the racism, the bigotry, does not come out of nowhere. There are people who incited and there are people who push it and promoted. I’m thinking of a certain media network who just got rid of their top rated cable host, Tucker Carlson. As I pointed out on my show on Sunday, We don’t know why he was fired. But we do know that he was not fired for the racism that he pushed on his show, week after week. They were fine with that. And in fact, you ended up being one of his targets a lot of the time.”

Oklahoma sex offender hid criminal past from woman found dead at his property alongside three teens: family

An Oklahoma woman said police found the bodies of her daughter and three grandchildren on a rural property where authorities had tracked down a registered sex offender and two missing teenagers — all of whom were also found dead.

Janette Mayo, of Westville Oklahoma, said the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office told her late Monday that authorities had found her daughter, Holly Guess, 35, and her grandchildren, Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17; Michael James Mayo, 15; and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13; shot to death on land owned by convicted rapist Jesse McFadden.

Although the state medical examiner still must confirm their identities, Sheriff Eddy Rice said he thought that “we have found the persons.”

“We believe to have found everything that we were seeking this morning, Rice said. “Our hearts go out to the families and friends, schoolmates and everyone else.”

Cops found their bodies alongside the two teens, Ivy Webster, 14, and Brittany Brewer, 16, the sheriff’s office said Monday.

Durbin: Taxpayers Are Paying $13 Billion to Save First Republic Bank

On Monday’s broadcast of “CNN News Central,” Senate Majority Whip Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) stated that the $13 billion loss that the FDIC is taking on the seizure of First Republic Bank is “$13 billion in taxpayers’ money” that the federal government put into First Republic Bank to ensure that it “did not fail and cause some recession in this economy.”

While discussing the debate over raising the debt ceiling between President Joe Biden and House Speaker Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Durbin said, “Speaker McCarthy is playing a dangerous game. Look at this First Republic Bank, we put $13 billion in taxpayers’ money there to make sure that this bank did not fail and cause some recession in this economy. There’s a lot at stake here, with a small — literally small bank in comparison to the national economy, $23 trillion, and the debt ceiling debate that McCarthy is trying to use for political purposes. This is totally irresponsible. If he defaults, if he even gets close to default, if there’s a serious threat of default, it’s going to have an impact on this economy, on business, on growth, as well as the number of jobs across America. We shouldn’t play this dangerous game. The President’s right.”

Panel: California, a Free State, Owes Black Residents $1.2 Million Each in Reparations

California’s official reparations task force has estimated that black residents of the state are owed $1.2 million each in compensation for the legacy of slavery, even though the state entered the Union as a free state in 1850.

The committee, signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) during the height of the Black Lives Matter panic in 2020, released an interim report last year backing reparations and proposing separate black schools, among other proposals. Though it narrowly decided that only those black residents who could trace their roots to Southern slaves should be eligible for reparations, it has determined that all black residents continue to suffer.

Report: Gun Sales Surge in States Adopting ‘Radical Measures’ Against 2A Rights

A National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) report on April 2023 background checks shows gun sales surged in states where “radical measures” against Second Amendment rights have been adopted, are about to take effect, or are awaiting outcomes of lawsuits.

Mark Oliva, NSSF Managing Director of Public Affairs, noted, “April…[witnessed an] uptick of 1,369,296 FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) verifications.”

11 Instances of Defensive Gun Use Dramatize Wisdom of Second Amendment

In recent decades, gun control advocates increasingly have tried to rewrite history by asserting that the Second Amendment—despite its plain text—never was supposed to protect a “right of the people” to keep and bear arms, but rather grants to state governments only the authority to maintain militias.

The latest purveyor of this objectively false narrative is Kris Brown, president of Brady: United Against Gun Violence, a major gun control group formerly known as the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. The organization, founded in 1974 as the National Council to Control Handguns, has never met a Second Amendment restriction that, in its view, goes too far.

Standing in front of the Lexington Minutemen Memorial in Massachusetts, Brown decried what she called “a false interpretation” of the Second Amendment as protecting an individual right, implying that this historically sound interpretation is inconsistent with “protecting our kids.”

The irony is astounding.

That “well-regulated militia” that assembled at Lexington in 1775 was then, as it is now, composed of ordinary civilians who employed their privately owned firearms in an organized and collective defense of their rights and liberties. And they stood their ground in the first battle of the American Revolution against, quite literally, an attempt to forcibly disarm them

Policymakers who resist burdensome restrictions on the “right of the people to keep and bear arms” do so precisely because they, like our Founders, know that every human being has an unalienable right to self-defense, and that without the practical means to defend themselves and their communities, Americans’ rights are nothing more than dead letters and hopeful wishes.

And just as it was for our forefathers, the Second Amendment today remains premised on ensuring that we—the people to whom the right belongs—are well-armed against any criminal or tyrant who would victimize us or our children unjustly.

The reality is that today ordinary Americans are as reliant on their Second Amendment rights as they’ve ever been.

Wayne State cop shoots emotional support dog during welfare check

A cop at Wayne State University shot an emotional support dog while performing a welfare check near the Detroit campus, a report said.

The campus cop opened fire on the 10-year-old goldendoodle named Ace when the pooch approached him at about 9:30 p.m. Friday. The dog was struck once in the jaw and was recovering, owner Justin Fuller told the Detroit Free Press.

“He spotted an officer and began trotting up to him,” said the 18-year-old Fuller. “And when the officer saw Ace, he looked at me and then looked at Ace and just shot him.”

“He was already dripping blood from the side of his face walking in the house,” Fuller told WXYZ in Detroit. “By the time he got in here, he stumbled up the steps, blood on the wall.”

The black goldendoodle — whom Fuller got as a gift for his 10th birthday — survived the encounter and was brought to a local vet. He was released Saturday morning with some stitches and a cone wrapped around his neck.

Johns Hopkins Study: 7 Herbs Can Kill Lyme Bacteria Outperforming Conventional Treatment

Lyme disease is a bacterial infection caused by the bacterium Borrelia burgdorferi, transmitted to humans through the bite of infected black-legged ticks. It is a prevalent disease in the United States, with tens of thousands of reported cases each year.

Treating Lyme disease can be challenging, as the bacteria can hide in different forms and evade the immune system. Common treatments include antibiotics, but their success rate varies, and some patients continue to experience symptoms even after treatment, known as Post-treatment Lyme Disease Syndrome (PTLDS) or chronic Lyme disease.

Signs and symptoms of Lyme disease include:

  • Bull’s-eye rash (erythema migrans)
  • Fatigue
  • Fever
  • Chills
  • Headache
  • Muscle and joint aches
  • Swollen lymph nodes

A recent study from Johns Hopkins University evaluated the effectiveness of certain herbs in treating Borrelia burgdorferi, the bacteria associated with Lyme disease. The study compared the herbs to common antibiotics, doxycycline and cefuroxime and discovered that some herbs outperformed antibiotics in treating different forms of the bacteria.

Top 7 Herbs for Lyme Disease Treatment:

  1. Cryptolepis
  2. Japanese knotweed
  3. Cat’s claw
  4. Chinese skullcap
  5. Artemisia (wormwood)
  6. Black walnut
  7. Cistus incanus (essential oil)

The study found that Cryptolepis was the most effective in treating both motile and persister forms of Borrelia, even outperforming common antibiotics like doxycycline and cefoperazone. Other highly effective herbs include Japanese knotweed, cat’s claw, and Chinese skullcap. While artemisia and black walnut also showed promising results, their potential toxicities make them suitable only for short-term use.

Some commonly used herbs, such as Andrographis, stevia, grapefruit seed extract, and monolaurin, did not show significant activity against Borrelia in this study. However, Andrographis is still considered valuable due to its immune-boosting properties and ability to target other microbes that may be involved in chronic Lyme disease.

Electric Cars: Policy Beyond Capability?

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently announced proposed emission standards that would mandate a large increase in the sale of new zero‐emission vehicles from model years 2027 through 2032. Compliance with the proposed rule is estimated to require 67 percent of new vehicles to be electric in 2032 compared to 5.8 percent in 2022. Informed analysts claim that the rule is extremely ambitious: “The new rule will effectively try to shove electric vehicles down the throats of the public at a faster rate than it has shown a willingness to swallow them.” The Energy Information Administration in its 2023 Annual Energy Outlook (Figure 10) would seem to confirm the ambitious nature of the proposed rule, projecting electric vehicles sales of around 15 percent in the early 2030s and still under 20 percent by 2050.

‘Godfather Of A.I.” Leaves Google To Warn Of A.I. Dangers

The ‘Godfather of Artificial Intelligence‘ has sensationally resigned from Google and warned the technology could upend life as we know it.

Geoffrey Hinton, 75, is credited with creating the technology that became the bedrock of A.I. systems like ChatGPT and Google Bard.

But the Turing prize winner now says a part of him regrets helping to make the systems, that he fears could prompt the proliferation of misinformation and replace people in the workforce.

He said he had to tell himself excuses like ‘if I didn’t build it, someone else would have’ to prevent himself from being overwhelmed by guilt.

He drew comparisons with the ‘father of the atomic bomb’ Robert Oppenheimer, who was reportedly distraught by his invention and dedicated the rest of his life to stopping its proliferation.

Geoffrey Hinton, 75, who is credited as the ‘Godfather of Artificial Technology’, said that a part of him now regrets helping to make the systems.

There is a great AI divide in Silicon Valley. Brilliant minds are split about the progress of the systems – some say it will improve humanity and others fear the technology will destroy it

Speaking to the New York Times about his resignation, he warned that in the near future, A.I. would flood the internet with false photos, videos and texts.

These would be of a standard, he added, where the average person would ‘not be able to know what is true anymore’.

The technology also posed a serious risk to ‘drudge’ work, he said, and could upend the careers of people working as paralegals, personal assistants and translators.

Some workers already say they are using it to cover multiple jobs for them, undertaking tasks such as creating marketing materials and transcribing Zoom meetings so that they do not have to listen.

‘Maybe what is going on in these systems, is actually a lot better than what is going on in the [human] brain,’ he said, explaining his fears.

‘The idea that this stuff could actually get smarter than people — a few people believed that.

‘But most people thought it was way off. And I thought it was way off. I thought it was 30 to 50 years or even longer away.

‘Obviously, I no longer think that.’
