‘Vaccine Hesitancy’ Is 1 of WHO’s Top 10 Global Threats—but Flu Shot Data Tells a Different Story

In 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) proposed 10 threats to global health, such as air pollution, non-communicable diseases, global influenza pandemic, Ebola and other high-threat pathogens, weak primary health care, and HIV. Among them, vaccine hesitancy was also mentioned, which many people might find surprising.

The elevation of this issue to a global health threat is a rather political approach. From this perspective, it should not be acceptable to the public. Just as consumers evaluate the quality of the products they purchase, people want to know the vaccines they are getting are good in quality and effective.  If a vaccine is proven to be effective while there are minimal side effects, most people wouldn’t hesitate to get vaccinated.

Is the US Shutting Down Power to Europe?

September 26, 2022, massive “leaks” were detected in two Russian pipelines, Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, which deliver natural gas from Russia to Europe underneath the Baltic Sea

It was quickly determined the leaks were the result of intentional sabotage. Germany will partner with Denmark and Sweden to investigate the explosions using navy, police and intelligence services from the three countries

One day after the Nord Stream sabotage, a new Polish natural gas pipeline was inaugurated. Israel has also been in negotiations with the EU to supply natural gas to Europe

Western officials and media blame Russia itself. The Washington Post suggested Russian President Vladimir Putin is “weaponizing the Nord Stream pipelines,” and Bob Rae, Canada’s ambassador to the United Nations, accused Russia of “using pollution as an act of war.” Putin has dismissed such allegations as “stupid,” and is placing the blame on the U.S.

In a September 27, 2022, show, Fox News host Tucker Carlson laid the blame at the feet of the Biden administration. Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs, an economist and public policy analyst, also believes the pipelines were struck by the U.S. as a means of damaging the Russian economy, something that sanctions have failed to accomplish

Meloni Polling at Record Highs Ahead of Forming Centre-Right Government

Firebrand conservative Giorgia Meloni and her Brothers of Italy (FdI) have reached a new record high in the polls as she continues her work in forming the next Italian government.

The new poll, conducted by the firm Swg, shows Meloni and her FdI polling even higher than their September 25th election result at 27.5 per cent, the highest polling number the party has ever achieved in its history.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Party (PD), which finished second in last month’s election, are on the decline with 17.5 per cent of the vote, below their election result of around 19 per cent, the newspaper Il Giornale reports.

Europe’s Winter of Chaos: France Heading ‘Straight into the Wall’ with Massive Energy Costs

French mayors have warned the Macron government that the country is heading “straight into the wall” over surging energy costs in the country.

Municipality energy cost increases of up to 400 per cent will drive significant portions of France “straight into the wall” in 2023, a host of mayors have warned the country’s government, with local leadership now reportedly struggling to even conceive how they could possibly balance the budget of their local regions.

Alex Jones Ordered to Pay $965 Million in Sandy Hook Judgment

French mayors have warned the Macron government that the country is heading “straight into the wall” over surging energy costs in the country.

Municipality energy cost increases of up to 400 per cent will drive significant portions of France “straight into the wall” in 2023, a host of mayors have warned the country’s government, with local leadership now reportedly struggling to even conceive how they could possibly balance the budget of their local regions.

Testifying during the trial, Jones acknowledged he had been wrong about Sandy Hook. The shooting was real, he said. But both in the courtroom and on his show, he was defiant.

He called the proceedings a “kangaroo court,” mocked the judge, called the plaintiffs’ lawyer an ambulance chaser and labeled the case an affront to free speech rights. He claimed it was a conspiracy by Democrats and the media to silence him and put him out of business.

“I’ve already said ‘I’m sorry’ hundreds of times and I’m done saying I’m sorry,” he said during his testimony.

Florida jury says man who confessed to Parkland school shooting should be sentenced to death

Jurors determined Thursday that Nikolas Cruz should be sentenced to death for a 2018 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, that killed 17 people.

Jurors determined in at least one of the murders that there were aggravating factors that would support a death sentence, but in other cases they did not.

Cruz, 24, had pleaded guilty last year to premeditated murder at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He used a semi-automatic rifle to kill 14 students and three staff members in one of the deadliest school shootings in American history.

Michigan School Board Meeting Shut Down as Community Protests Pornographic Books

A board meeting of Michigan’s Dearborn Public Schools came to a halt Monday night as community members protested the availability of sexually explicit books to children.

“Keep your porno books to yourself,” a sign from a protester read as demonstrators piled into the meeting to raise concern about the books.

Texas County Calls for Statewide Vote on Secession from USA

A rural southwest Texas County Commissioners’ Court called on the Legislature to put a secession question on the 2023 General Election ballot. The resolution passed Tuesday by Edwards County calls for Texas to secede from the U.S. and return to being an independent nation.

Edwards County Commissioners released a resolution Tuesday night listing a litany of grievances against the United States including the national debt, usurpation of states’ rights, restrictions on private industry, curbs on the Second Amendment, and failures to enforce immigration laws, among others.

Are Texas Republicans Serious About Secession?

Calls for independence are growing louder on the right. Maybe that would change if more Texans understood the costs of such a move.

One hundred and seventy-six years have passed since Texas called itself an independent republic. But to hear Daniel Miller, president of the Texas Nationalist Movement (TNM), tell it, “Texit,” the campaign to sever the Lone Star State from the United States, has never been so fashionably on-trend. “Given the ridiculous circus coming out of Washington, D.C., the number of people who at least want a chance to vote on it increases every day,” Miller told me over the phone in September. “We tell our volunteers that independence is not a hope, a wish, or a dream—it’s an inevitability. The only thing we’re debating is the timeline.”

Miller—who speaks with the friendly, authoritative twang you’d hear from a radio DJ at a big country music station—cited some developments that give him and other Texit advocates hope. In June, he noted, the Republican Party of Texas added a plank to its platform at its annual convention calling for a voter referendum on “whether or not the State of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation.” And during the 2021 legislative session, state representative Kyle Biedermann, a Republican from Fredericksburg who was videotaped at the U.S. Capitol during the January 6 riot, filed  a bill that called for a similar ballot initiative that would ask voters whether the Legislature should develop “a plan for leaving the United States of America and establishing an independent republic.”

In a Facebook post announcing the Texas Independence Referendum Act, Biedermann argued that “the People of Texas are allowed to decide their own future.” His bill, which was referred to the State Affairs Committee, had one joint author and four coauthors, all of them Republicans. Although it was never debated, the proposal garnered the support of influential Republicans, including state senator Lois Kolkhorst, of Brenham, and then–Texas GOP Chairman Allen West. (Neither Kolkhorst nor West responded to interview requests.) Following the 2020 election, West falsely claimed that if Texans “voted and decided, we could go back to being our own republic.”

Tulsi Gabbard to Stump for GOP Candidate a Day After Leaving Democratic Party

Former U.S. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, a one-time presidential candidate who announced this week that she’s leaving the Democratic Party, will campaign for a Republican U.S. Senate candidate ahead of the 2022 midterms.

Retired Army Gen. Don Bolduc, who won the New Hampshire Republican primary and will face incumbent Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) in the Nov. 8 general election, confirmed in a statement on Oct. 12 that the former Hawaii congresswoman will be stumping for him.

“We don’t agree on every issue, but I am honored to have the support of Tulsi Gabbard who shares my view that the status quo is broken, and we need a change of direction,” Bolduc said in a statement. “Tulsi is a fellow change agent and independent-minded outsider willing to speak truth to power.”

Bolduc has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

He added, “I am going to spend every day between now and Election Day building a wide coalition of supporters that includes Republicans, independents, and even disaffected Democrats who know that Senator Hassan is a career politician and must be retired.”

Newt Gingrich: Tulsi Gabbard’s Departure Is Bad News for Democrats

Former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich suggested that Tulsi Gabbard’s announcement that she’s leaving the Democratic Party is a sign that more will depart.

“I think when she ran for president, she realized how really isolated she was from the great majority of the Democratic Party, which is now, frankly, a pretty weird party,” Gingrich told Fox News on Tuesday. “We saw the same thing happen in a slightly different way in Philadelphia last week, where the former deputy mayor, a Democrat, endorsed Dr. [Mehmet] Oz for the U.S. Senate and said that John Fetterman is just so crazy on crime and so pro-criminal, he couldn’t be for him.”

Gingrich, who was House speaker from 1995 to 1999, added that he believes there is a “drift” away from the Democratic Party because “we’ve certainly seen among Latinos a huge drift towards the Republican Party as they’re driven away by the weirder policies of the Democratic Party.”

Gabbard, a Democrat 2020 presidential candidate, did not announce her next move, including whether she would join the GOP. However, New Hampshire Senate candidate Don Bolduc, a Republican, wrote Wednesday that Gabbard will be stumping for him.

The reason why she is leaving the Democratic Party, according to Gabbard, is because it represents the “powerful elite,” not normal people.

30,000 Noncitizens in Colorado Receive Voter Registration Notices

Roughly 30,000 noncitizens in Colorado received postcards prompting them to register to vote late last month.

The state’s secretary of state office put it down to a database glitch, while Secretary of State Jena Griswold, a Democrat, insisted the online voter registration system would block those recipients when they tried to go through.

It comes at a time of widespread skepticism of voting integrity following the 2020 presidential election and as Griswold, who has touted her role as a national advocate for secure elections, seeks reelection in the November midterms. The incumbent faces Republican Pam Anderson, a former suburban Denver clerk and head of the state’s county clerks association, who is a staunch advocate of Colorado’s all-mail voting system.

Judge Faults Texas Defendant for Wearing a Trump 2020 Flag ‘Like a Superhero Cape’ on Jan. 6

Parents get 14 days in jail, 90 days home detention; three children get mostly probation for 52 minutes in the Capitol

A Texas woman who wore a Donald Trump 2020 flag “like a superhero cape” in the Capitol on Jan. 6 was sentenced to 90 days of home detention—a harsher sentence than that given to two younger siblings—because a federal judge said she should have “exercised much better judgment.”

Judge Beryl Howell also sentenced the two parents of the Munn family—Thomas Munn, 55, of Borger, Texas; and his wife, Dawn Munn, 57—to 14 days in jail each, plus 90 days of home detention. She faulted the parents for being a bad example for their children on Jan. 6.

Prosecutors had asked for 30 days in jail for the parents and 21 days in jail each for three of their eight children charged in the case. Each was convicted in a plea agreement on one count of “parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building,” a federal Class B petty misdemeanor.

The family sentencing came during a nearly four-hour hearing on Oct. 12. The case involves a family that entered the Capitol through a broken window at 2:25 p.m. on Jan. 6 and spent 52 minutes inside, walking around and trying to find a way out of the building.

None of the Munns was charged with violence or vandalism for their actions on Jan. 6, but an irate Howell said they “helped facilitate a riot” by their “willful, intentional joining of this mob.”

FBI Agent: No Direct Communications to Prove Oath Keepers’ Alleged Seditious Conspiracy

An FBI agent testified on Oct. 11 that he was not aware of any direct communications involving the Oath Keepers that would directly show that they planned to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6 and interfere with the certification of the Electoral College vote.

FBI Special Agent Justin Eller testified as part of the seditious conspiracy trial against four Oath Keepers members in a federal court in Washington. A defense lawyer asked Eller if, from all the Oath Keepers members’ and affiliates’ communications he reviewed, there were any that specifically read that the Oath Keepers were going to storm the Capitol.

“No,” Eller said.

The defense attorney then asked if there were any communications to prove that the Oath Keepers planned to stop the certification of electoral votes on January 6, 2021.

“No,” Eller said, and, after a pause, added, “directly.”

Eller was initially assigned to investigate defendant Jessica Watkins in January 2021. He said he interviewed about 20 to 30 individuals during his investigation.

Defense attorney David Fischer asked Eller if he preferred to spend a “substantial amount of time” before charging someone or “do a quick investigation to arrest.” Eller said he has no preference.

“I only gather the information, facts, and evidence and turn it to my supervisor,” Eller said.

Treasury Department Investigating DeSantis Illegal Immigrant Flights to Martha’s Vineyard

The Biden administration opened an investigation into Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s flight of illegal immigrants from the U.S.-Mexico border to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, last month.

The Treasury Department’s inspector general confirmed it is evaluating whether DeSantis allegedly misused COVID-19 relief funds to send the illegal aliens to the wealthy liberal hotspot, said Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) on Wednesday.

A Treasury Department inspector general letter (pdf), dated Oct. 7 and posted by the senator’s office Wednesday, told Markey and other members of Congress that it will evaluate Florida’s COVID-19-related spending. That probe was part of a broader investigation into how states used billions of dollars sent to them under the American Rescue Plan.

Richard K. Delmar, the deputy inspector general for the Treasury Department, said it would “review the allowability” of COVID-19 aid to states “related to immigration generally, and will specifically confirm whether interest earned on [the] funds was utilized by Florida related to immigration activities, and if so, what conditions and limitations apply to such use.”

“As part of its oversight responsibility for the [State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund], Treasury Office of Inspector General has audit work planned on recipients’ compliance with eligible use guidance,” the letter said. “In addition, as part of our oversight work of the Coronavirus Relief Fund established by the CARES Act, we have already sought information from Florida about appropriate use of that fund.”

Why Four Texas Families Left Prestigious School District

Four families left one of the richest and most prestigious school districts in Texas over a curriculum they say was increasingly focused on sex, gender, and race, instead of classical education.

Parents said in an interview with The Epoch Times that the pandemic exposed problems within the Highland Park Independent School District (ISD) in Dallas, considered one of the most prestigious districts in the Lone Star State.

Eventually, the families removed their children from what they see as a diminished public school system. The failure there, they believe, mirrors what’s happening to public education nationally and a push for school choice.

“Maybe we’re alarmists, but we’re sitting here looking at this stuff,” parent Nathan Petty told The Epoch Times. “To me, it’s as clear as day this is an intentional thing. It’s not just incompetence, because you can’t be incompetent and do as much damage.”

Supreme Court Hears Challenge to Allegedly Unconstitutional California Pork Industry Restrictions

A voter-ratified law in California banning the sale of pork from hogs raised in spaces smaller than industry norms is unconstitutional, an industry group told the Supreme Court on Oct. 11.

The case is important because whatever ruling the court issues could have implications reaching well beyond agricultural law. State-level energy and climate regulations have also been challenged under the so-called dormant commerce clause, or negative commerce clause, in the U.S. Constitution, which prohibits states from enacting legislation that discriminates against or excessively burdens interstate commerce.

In 2008, California voters easily approved Proposition 2, the Prevention of Farm Animal Cruelty Act, which outlawed “gestation crates” for pregnant pigs, cages for egg-laying hens, and veal crates for calves. However, the measure didn’t forbid the sale of food that comes from animals confined in prohibited ways, Ballotpedia reports.

A decade later, California Proposition 12, the Farm Animal Confinement Initiative, was also easily approved by state voters in 2018, according to Ballotpedia.

The initiative establishes “minimum space requirements based on square feet for calves raised for veal, breeding pigs, and egg-laying hens and bans the sale of (a) veal from calves, (b) pork from breeding pigs, and (c) eggs from hens when the animals are confined to areas below minimum square-feet requirements.”

Separately, the Humane Society of the United States, a respondent in the case, said in a statement released while the hearing was underway that “states have the right to keep immoral and unsafe products out of their markets, including pork from cruelly confined pigs.”

“As we await the Court’s decision, we applaud the many retailers and major pork producers who are already meeting consumers’ increasing demand for safer, more humane pork,” Humane Society CEO Kitty Block said.

NBC News Journalist Dasha Burns’s Report on Democrat John Fetterman’s Closed Captioning, Interview Aid Goes Unsupported by Network

NBC News journalist Dasha Burns’s Tuesday report on Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman’s use of closed captioning that aided his interview with Burns was immediately counteracted and framed as speculative by the network following the report’s debut on NBC News’s nightly evening news.

The scathing report by Burns, an employee of NBC News for over six years, went unsupported by her network after she conducted an interview with the Pennsylvania Democrat which highlighted Fetterman’s need for closed captioning to understand the questions Burns asked.

Fetterman had a stroke in May and has not fully recovered. He appears to still struggle with auditory processing five months later.

Illegal Alien Charged with Killing Father of Two in Texas Hit-and-Run

An illegal alien is accused of causing a hit-and-run crash on October 5 that killed a young father of two in Longview, Texas.

Victor Frausto-Lopez, a 37-year-old illegal alien, has been arrested and charged with killing 25-year-old Tristen Aaron Gore in a hit-and-run crash.

Biden Says ‘Very Slight Recession’ Possible, Though He Doesn’t Anticipate It

President Joe Biden admitted on Tuesday there’s a possibility a “very slight recession” could happen in the near future, though he reiterated that he doesn’t believe it will actually happen in the United States.

In an interview aired on “CNN Tonight,” Biden said Americans shouldn’t be afraid amid growing risk and fear of a global recession, arguing the United States is “in a better position” economically than any other major country in the world.

“Look, they’ve been saying this now how—every six months, they say this. Every six months, they look down at the next six months and say what’s going to happen. It hasn’t happened yet. It hasn’t—there has—there’s no guarantee that there’s going to be a—I don’t think there will be a recession,” the president said, adding that if there’ll be one, “it’ll be a very slight recession—that is, we’ll move down slightly.”

Biden was responding to a question by CNN’s Jake Tapper, who asked the president if Americans should prepare for a recession following JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon’s recent warning that the United States is likely going to head into recession territory in the next six to nine months.

“Look, think about what’s happened. We have done more—we are in a better position than any other major country in the world, economically and politically,” Biden said, further explaining that his $1.9 trillion “American Rescue Plan,” which was the fiscal stimulus and COVID-19 relief package, as well as the Democrats’ “Inflation Reduction Act,” have helped position the economy and reduce inflation.

“Look what we’ve got done,” Biden boasted. “We passed so much legislation that significantly makes a point … I mean, there’s so much that’s been accomplished that the idea that there’s something—there’s an automaticity to recession is just not there. They keep—they’ve been predicting this off and on.”

Biden’s prediction is in contrast with many investors, economists, and banks, who’ve recently warned that a recession in the United States is unavoidable—and that it could be worse than a “normal” recession.

Another Lawsuit Filed Against Biden’s Student Debt Relief Plan Arguing Move Is ‘Inflationary’

President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan is facing yet another lawsuit, this time by a small-business advocacy group calling for the “counterproductive, inflationary, and unfair action” to be blocked from going ahead.

The Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF) Legal Action Fund (LAF) filed the lawsuit in the District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division, on Monday.

According to its official website, JCNF is a “nonpartisan organization founded by entrepreneurs who believe that many government policies are getting in the way of the economic freedom that helped make this country prosperous.”

Monday’s lawsuit (pdf) argues that Biden’s move to cancel billions in student loan debt violates the Administrative Procedure Act’s (APA’s) notice-and-comment procedures through which the administration should have sought the public’s input or comment on the program.

“The Department of Education has flagrantly violated the APA’s notice-and-comment requirements. Behind closed doors, the Department promulgated a new Debt Forgiveness Program that will affect tens of millions of Americans and cost more than 400 billion dollars,” lawyers for the plaintiffs wrote.

“Instead of providing notice and seeking comment from the public, the Department hammered out the critical details of the Program in secret and with an eye toward securing debt forgiveness in time for the November election,” the lawsuit states.

Cato Releases Fiscal Report on the Governors 2022

Cato has released the 16th biennial Fiscal Report Card on America’s Governors. The report grades the governors on their tax and spending records since 2020. Governors who have restrained taxes and spending receive higher grades, while those who have increased taxes and spending receive lower grades.

Five governors were awarded an A: Kim Reynolds of Iowa, Chris Sununu of New Hampshire, Pete Ricketts of Nebraska, Brad Little of Idaho, and Doug Ducey of Arizona.

These governors have led the largest wave of state tax‐cutting in more than four decades. As discussed in the study, 21 states have cut individual or corporate income tax rates since 2020.

Kim Reynolds of Iowa is the highest‐scoring governor. She has held the line on spending and signed into law a series of impressive tax reforms since entering office in 2017.

Exclusive — Monica Crowley: ‘Economic Collapse’ Is ‘All by Design’

The worsening “economic collapse” of America is being done “by design,” Monica Crowley stated on Wednesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

“This is all by design,” Crowley remarked. “We are already in a technical recession, two straight quarters of negative growth.”

Democrats are manufacturing an economic catastrophe as a pretext for further centralization of power and control in the hands of government and aligned industries, Crowley assessed.

She said, “They are simply buying time, because they know things are going to get much worse. Again, it’s all intentional, because they need that period of time of really bad economic collapse in order to slam through their socialist agenda.”

Crowley cautioned political observers against viewing political elites as ignorant naifs oblivious of the consequences of their own abuses of power.

“I’m sick and tired of people giving them the benefit of the doubt, like, ‘They said it was going be transitory because they just didn’t know,’” she lamented. “Of course they knew. This is all by design. It’s all going according to plan.”

She emphasized, “This is about imploding the U.S. economy so that they can rebuild it in this collectivist neo-Marxist vision. That’s all that this is, and every line that they have given to us about the economy — and, frankly, about everything else — has been a straight up lie on purpose.”

Crowley linked the Biden administration’s facilitation of mass migration across the U.S.-Mexico border to a broader design of collapsing America in accordance with the Cloward-Piven model.

“With regard to the border, the reason [Joe Biden] is keeping it open is Cloward and Piven,” she held. “This is all about overwhelming America’s systems in order to destroy them, so that you can rebuild them in your own communist image.”

She concluded, “That includes the open border. It’s about changing America’s demographics and imploding the country.”

Crowley is the former assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury and hosts an eponymous podcast.

Report: Airline Ticket Prices Expected to Surge as Holidays Approach

With the holiday season fast approaching, Americans should expect to see a surge in airline ticket prices, according to a Wednesday report.

The Hill reports:

Travel site Hopper says tickets will cost nearly 20 percent more compared to last year, with the average domestic round-trip ticket costing $274.

The pressure is on as airlines look to avoid a service meltdown during the busiest travel season of the year (like the one seen this summer).

In an interview with NewsNation’s Rush Hour, travel expert Sandra McLemore suggested booking flights as soon as possible in order to avoid paying higher prices set in the coming weeks.

McLemore told the program:

Flight prices are at an all-time high. We haven’t seen flights this expensive in five years. So if you haven’t booked your holiday flights, now is the time to do it. I do think that we’re not going to see any relief for 2022, and perhaps into 2023. So it’s no surprise that travelers are looking for alternative ways to spend their holidays and to travel.

Concerns over airfare costs come as a key barometer of inflation showed how prices paid to American companies increased more than anticipated in September.

Police Use DNA To Create Image Of Unknown Suspect

The Edmonton Police Service is, for the first time in its history, using DNA phenotyping in the hopes of identifying a suspect in a 2019 sexual assault.

On Sunday, March 10, 2019, at approximately 5:45 a.m., police received a call that a female was found yelling for help in the area of 103 Street and 114 Avenue. When police arrived, they located a woman in her mid-20s who had sustained serious injuries and was wearing only a shirt.

It was reported to police that the woman had been walking northbound on the west side of 101 Street between 2:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. on March 10, 2019. As she approached a bus shelter on the west side of 101 Street just north of 117 Avenue, she observed a number of people waiting at the bus stop, including an unknown male.

After a bus stopped at the shelter and picked up the people waiting, the unknown male followed the complainant as she continued to walk by. The male assaulted her, then pulled her into the field surrounding St. Basil and Spruce Avenue schools, where he violently sexually assaulted her.

After the assault, the woman reportedly regained consciousness and made her way to 103 Street and 114 Avenue, where a resident found her at approximately 5:45 a.m. and called 911.

An April 18, 2019 news release issued by the Edmonton Police Service outlined the details above and sought information about the suspect, describing him as 5’4”, with a black toque, pants and sweater or hoodie. He was described as having an accent. He was believed to have fled west from the scene.

Following a long investigation where no witnesses, CCTV, public tips or DNA matches were found, detectives took the step of enlisting Parabon NanoLabs, a DNA technology company in Virginia that specializes in advanced DNA analysis services. The service used in this case was DNA phenotyping, the process of predicting physical appearance and ancestry from unidentified DNA evidence. Law enforcement agencies use the company’s Snapshot ® DNA Phenotyping Service to narrow suspect lists and generate leads in criminal investigations.

Using DNA evidence from this investigation, Parabon produced trait predictions for the associated person of interest (POI). Individual predictions were made for the subject’s ancestry, eye color, hair color, skin color, freckling, and face shape. By combining these attributes of appearance, a “Snapshot” composite was produced depicting what the POI may have looked like at 25 years old and with an average body-mass index (BMI) of 22. These default values were used because age and BMI cannot be determined from DNA.

It is important to note that DNA phenotyping composites are scientific approximations of appearance based on DNA, and are not likely to be exact replicas of appearance. Environmental factors such as smoking, drinking, diet, and other non-environmental factors — e.g., facial hair, hairstyle, scars, etc. — cannot be predicted by DNA analysis and may cause further variation between the subject’s predicted and actual appearances.

Due to the heavy winter clothing, including face covering, worn by the suspect at the time of the assault, the complainant was only able to provide a limited description The suspect description, based on information provided by the complainant as well as DNA analysis, indicates he is a Black male of entirely African ancestry with dark brown to black hair and dark brown eyes who reportedly stands approximately 5’4”. As previously mentioned, the suspect may be older, may have a different body composition and may have facial hair or a different hairstyle than depicted in the photo.

HEALTH

This Everyday Ingredient Increases Risk of Cancer and Heart Disease—Here’s How to Avoid It

Did you know that we eat an oil almost every day that increases the risk of cancer and heart disease? It is palm oil, which is commonly found in processed foods. As long as you are not eating whole food, you’re likely eating palm oil.

Palm Oil Is Omnipresent in Processed Foods

Palm oil is extracted from palm pulp or palm kernels and has a wide range of uses. It is mainly found in processed foods.

Our reliance on palm oil is increasing year by year. According to statistics released in January 2022 by Statista, which is an online statistical data portal, the global palm oil consumption from 2021 to 2022 is 73,866,000 metric tons, reaching a record high. The United States is in a similar situation, with domestic palm oil consumption of 1,602,000 metric tons in 2021, just 1,000 metric tons less than 2020.

Almost all processed foods that people eat every day contain palm oil, including snack crackers, bread, cakes, pizza, breakfast cereals, peanut butter and other spreads, dried fruit, instant noodles, fried foods, chocolate, ice cream, etc.

Hsiao-Wei Chen, a nutritionist with a doctorate in food science, said that palm oil is actually ubiquitous in processed foods, and that emulsifiers and stabilizers may also contain palm oil.

As palm oil contains a large amount of saturated fat (40 percent to 50 percent of total fat), it has a higher stability, which allows food to be better preserved. Also due to its high saturated fat content, palm oil is suitable for frying food and can even withstand multiple high-temperature frying. Of course, palm oil is also cheaper than other oils.

These factors are the reasons why palm oil is widely used in processed foods. In fact, even baby formula contains palm oil. When manufacturing milk powder, animal fats must be extracted, as animal oil contains contaminants such as environmental hormones and antibiotics. Therefore, it is strictly stipulated that infant milk powder cannot contain animal fats. After the animal fats are extracted, vegetable fats and oils such as soybean salad oil, olive oil, or palm oil are added. And palm oil can play a role in stabilizing milk powder.

The 150 Bilderbergers Who Influenced And Controlled The Response To COVID-19

It is unknown whether a 2021 Bilderberg Meeting was held; the group’s website stated that it “had to be cancelled, due to travel and meeting restrictions.”[1] Of the 1861 living Bilderbergers, over 140, listed below, have played significant roles in managing the COVID-19 event: Many of those listed below are also on the list of COVID-19 WEF perpetrators.

Over 150 Bilderbergers (of the 1861 who are still alive) have played important parts in the COVID-19 event.

Many, perhaps most, of the below have been active in various roles; this page attempts to list them under the most important played. Steering committee members (both present and former) are underlined.

A lot of evidence suggests that SARS-CoV2 did not occur naturally, but was genetically manipulated from a naturally occurring bat coronavirus and possibly parts of additional viruses [2]. Bilderberg members have done important work in developing the CRISPR gene editing technique:

Bernard Cazeneuve – 2018 – In 2017 attended the founding ceremony of the BSL-4 lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, together with Yves Lévy, whose wife abruptly banned over-the-counter sales of hydroxychloroquine in France in January 2020,[3] declaring it “poisonous” without explanation.[4][5]

Emmanuelle Charpentier – 2016 – Pioneered CRISPR as a tool for genome editing (for which she was co-recipient of a Nobel prize in 2020)

Sean Parker – 2010 – Billionaire who was the first to gain NIH approval for a trial of CRISPR

CDC Enables Younger Children to Get Updated COVID-19 Boosters After FDA Authorization

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has now enabled younger children to receive updated COVID-19 vaccine boosters.

The CDC’s move came hours after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted emergency authorization on Oct. 12 to Moderna and Pfizer for their updated COVID-19 vaccine booster doses for children between the ages of 5 and 11.

CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky didn’t appear to recommend the updated vaccine boosters, but her signature on a memorandum means that children in the age group can start receiving the vaccine booster doses.

Children as young as 6 can now receive the Moderna vaccine booster, while children as young as 5 can now receive the Pfizer vaccine booster.

Previously, the Moderna booster was available to adults, and the Pfizer booster was available to those aged 12 and older.

FDA officials suggested that the emergency use authorizations were granted because the vaccines protect against hospitalization and severe illness.

“Vaccination remains the most effective measure to prevent the severe consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization a

Scientists Find Antibodies That Neutralize All COVID Strains

Two antibodies have been uncovered that are so effective at neutralizing COVID-19 — and all of its variants — that they believe the antibodies could serve as an “effective substitute for vaccines”

The antibodies — TAU-1109 and TAU-2310 — bind to a different area of the spike protein than other antibodies, one that doesn’t undergo many mutations

TAU-1109 is 92% effective at neutralizing the omicron strain and 90% effective at neutralizing the delta strain

TAU-2310 has an efficacy rate of 84% at neutralizing omicron and a 97% efficacy rate against the delta variant

The researchers believe that with effective antibody treatment, “we will not have to provide booster doses to the entire population every time there is a new variant”

Army Secretary Advises Generals to ‘Exercise Good Judgment’ on Social Media, Stay out of Culture Wars

Army Secretary Christine Wormuth advised Army generals to exercise good judgment on social media, following reports of a two-star Army general, Maj. Gen. Pat Donahoe, being under investigation for various reasons including his combative tweets to conservatives and junior female officers on Twitter.

“The key for senior leaders in an environment that is as politicized, unfortunately, as the one that we’re all operating in, is to exercise good judgment,” said Wormuth at a press conference at the yearly Association of the United States Army convention.

Igor Danchenko Had an Immunity Agreement and Other Takeaways From Day 1 of His Trial

The primary source for the anti-Donald Trump dossier struck an immunity agreement with the government that he breached by not fully disclosing information, special counsel John Durham said on Oct. 11.

Igor Danchenko, who fed information to dossier author Christopher Steele, was employed by the FBI for years, Durham previously revealed. During that time, Danchenko had an immunity agreement, Durham said during the first day of Danchenko’s trial in federal court in Virginia.

Prosecutors introduced “an immunity agreement that was entered into by the defendant with the government in which he was told specifically that he agreed to make full and complete disclosure of information,” Durham said.

The agreement was presented to Danchenko in January 2017, when the FBI interviewed him about his role in the dossier.

“The only requirements of that agreement, the only requirements [were] that the defendant provide complete and truthful information, that he not withhold any information, and that he not attempt to protect any person through false information or omission,” Michael Keilty, an assistant special counsel, told jurors.

Danny Onorato, a lawyer representing Danchenko, later pointed at Durham and told the jury that the prosecution was lying about the agreement.

Durham objected, noting that the agreement has been entered as an exhibit.

“So for the defense counsel to stand here and tell this jury that the government lied is highly inappropriate,” he said.
