A little over a year ago, during the Presidential debate, Donald declared that if he won, he would instruct his attorney general to get a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clintons, “ situation.” Clinton responded, “It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.” Then candidate Trump interrupted her with a phrase that elicited thunderous applause – he said “: “Because you’d be in jail.” Investigative journalist Liz Crokin, takes a counterintuitive look at what has transpired since that time, starting with the wording of the directive giving Mueller the unction to run the investigation. It explains that the special council is authorized to conduct an investigation including “any links and/or coordination between Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump, and any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation.” It is the contention of investigator reporter Crockin that, since there is absolutely no link between the Trump and the Russians, the entire Mueller investigation could be a classic sting operation to go after the real criminals who had collusion with Russia in the Uranium One Deal or with the Clinton Foundation. Rumor has it that there another 17 – 33 sealed indictments ready to be released.
