Fugitive cruise ships seized in the Bahamas – reports
RT – Two Crystal Cruises ships, which have been on the run over huge unpaid fuel bills, were arrested by the authorities in the Bahamas on Friday, the media reported.
The Crystal Symphony and the Crystal Serenity vessels were taken into custody near Freeport, according to the Cruise Law News and The Insider.
There were only crew members aboard during the seizures, as hundreds of passengers had earlier disembarked the ships in Bimini, which is the closest point in the Bahamas to the mainland US.
A video posted on Twitter has allegedly captured the captain on the Crystal Symphony informing his sailors about the detention of the vessel.
“The ship has been placed under arrest by the local authorities over some unpaid bills, and as bad as it sounds it’s actually quite a good thing to happen,” he’s heard saying in the clip.
The seizure was “unfortunate,” but “actually quite expected,” the captain said, adding that it wasn’t going to affect the movement of the crew in any way.
Ottawa Declares ‘State of Emergency’ as Police Crack Down on Truckers

GoFundMe Says All Donations to Trucker Convoy Will Be Automatically Refunded; Florida to Investigate
Epoch Times – The GoFundMe fundraising platform said Feb. 5 it will automatically refund donations made to a trucker convoy in Canada protesting COVID-19 vaccine mandates after backlash.
GoFundMe said Friday it was preventing the funds from going to organizers of the Freedom Convoy and would instead send the money to “established charities verified by GoFundMe.”
The justification for the unusual move? “We now have evidence from law enforcement that the previously peaceful demonstration has become an occupation, with police reports of violence and other unlawful activity,” GoFundMe said.
The website didn’t provide any evidence of the alleged violence or unlawful activity.
Jon Carpay, president of Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedom, a legal group representing the convoy organizers, told The Epoch Times that the fundraising company “has no credibility” without making the evidence public. Organizers told a briefing that police officers were using measures typically utilized by “oppressive regimes” to try to take away the truckers’ “right of peaceful assembly and freedom of expression” and media reports and officials were falsely linking crimes committed by outsiders with the protesters.
In its update on Saturday, GoFundMe, which hasn’t responded to requests for comment, claimed it had already enabled donors to get a refund and only the remaining funds would have been distributed to charities.
“However, due to donor feedback, we are simplifying the process. We will automatically refund all contributions directly—donors do not need to submit a request. You can expect to see your refund within 7–10 business days,” the company said.
GoFundMe’s actions have drawn scrutiny, particularly in light of the platform allowing campaigns for people linked to violence before.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican, said it was “a fraud” for GoFundMe “to commandeer $9 [million] in donations sent to support truckers and give it to causes of their own choosing.”
DeSantis said he will work with Florida’s attorney general, Ashley Moody, “to investigate these deceptive practices—these donors should be given a refund.”
Jeff Landry, the attorney general of Louisiana, and West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey also said they would probe GoFundMe’s practices.
“My office will be looking into whether or not #GoFundMe violated our state law,” Landry, a Republican, wrote on Twitter, adding that residents who donated to the convoy should contact his office’s consumer protection section.
Convoy organizers have recently turned to GiveSendGo, a GoFundMe competitor, to raise funds. GiveSendGo was down Saturday due to “bot cyber-attacks,” a spokeswoman told The Epoch Times via email. She said the company was “working as fast/hard as we can” to restore the website.

But because the state cannot admit that it was wrong, the federal government doubled-down and took $5 billion of your tax dollars and allocated them to N95 respirators. While N95s are shown to reduce viral load, it is entirely unfeasible for people to wear them continuously as they are disposable and must be extremely tight fitting. New Zealander’s 60-hour Hunger Strike Wins Him Release From COVID-19 Quarantine
Epoch Times – New Zealand ex-pat Kurt Lehndorf, who resides in Australia, has won release from quarantine after enduring a 60-hour hunger strike to see his dying father.
The saga with Lehndorf began five days ago when he arrived in New Zealand from Brisbane, Australia, where he was then placed under managed isolation and quarantine (MIQ).
The man hoped to see his dying father, who has terminal acute myeloid leukaemia and was located 30 kilometres north of the MIQ facility at the Sudima Auckland Airport hotel.
Lehndorf had applied to quarantine at his father’s property so he could be with him during his final moments.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, which manages the MIQ system, revealed to Stuff media that Lehndorf was granted a temporary visit to see his father before being required to return to MIQ.
However, Lehndorf claimed he never received the confirmation and that the Ministry was still processing his application despite extensive paperwork already being handed over, according to Newshub.
Highly Infectious, More Damaging HIV Variant Found in the Netherlands
A new highly transmissible and dangerous HIV variant has been discovered in the Netherlands, confirming scientists’ worst expectations.
The new mutant — called the VB variant — has infected at least 109 people, according to a study by Oxford University.
The strain damages the immune system and weakens a person’s ability to fight everyday infections and disease faster than previous versions of the virus.
It means those who catch this strain could develop AIDS more quickly, DailyMail reported.
The VB variant also has a viral load between 3.5 and 5.5 times higher than the current strain, meaning infected people are more likely to transmit the virus to others.
However, after starting treatment, those with the variant have a similar immune system recovery and survival rate to those infected with other HIV strains.
More than 100,000 Britons and 1million Americans are thought to be living with HIV.
Independent experts have said the finding is nothing to panic about. The analysis found VB arose in the 1980s and has been declining since 2010.
An analysis of genetic patterns suggests VB first arose during the late 1980s and 1990s in the Netherlands.
The discovery, published in the journal Science, is the result of an international collaboration between the University of Oxford’s Big Data Institute and the Dutch HIV Monitoring Foundation.
The team, which collects HIV samples from across Europe and Uganda, detected 17 cases of the new strain.
Two of the cases were in Switzerland and Belgium, while 15 VB variant samples were taken from individuals in the Netherlands.
The team examined positive samples from more than 6,700 people in the country to find out how widespread it is.
This process identified a further 92 people with the variant, from all regions of the Netherlands, bringing the total of confirmed cases to 109. But the true number is likely to be higher.
The team examined sequenced HIV samples from a global database but did not detect other cases. However, they said there are ‘probably at least a few’ more international cases of the strain.

Epoch Times – Pamela Moses, a Memphis-based Black Lives Matter activist, has received a sentence of six years behind bars for illegally registering to vote in 2019.
The 44-year-old was sentenced Monday inside the Shelby County Criminal Court by Judge Mark Ward, the Daily Memphian reported Friday.
He sentenced her to six years and a day but explained that if she finished programs in prison and also “maintains good behavior,” he would consider putting her on probation following a nine month period.

The Daily Signal – A doctor prohibited from practicing medicine because of his vaccination status is suing Rhode Island to regain his ability to practice.
The Rhode Island Department of Health ordered oral and maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Stephen Skoly to cease his critical surgical care on Oct. 1, 2021, after the state denied his medical exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the lawsuit.
“After four months of being forced out of work, I still held out some hope that all mandates might come to an end in mid February,” Skoly said in a statement.
He continued: “But now, with Rhode Island’s Speaker of the House [ K. Joseph Shekarchi, a Democrat] and Senate President [Dominick Ruggerio, a Democrat] openly planning with Gov. [Dan] McKee to extend his executive orders and unilateral powers for at least another two months … I am left with no choice but to file this lawsuit.”
The lawsuit, filed Friday in the United States District Court for Rhode Island against McKee, a Democrat, and interim Rhode Island Department of Health Director James McDonald, seeks to stop the state from preventing him from practicing medicine.
“Dr. Skoly is not an anti-vaxxer,” the lawsuit said. “On two previous occasions, he suffered Bell’s Palsy facial paralysis. Considering this medical history, and the scientifically demonstrated association between COVID-19 vaccination and the onset of Bell’s Palsy paralysis, Dr. Skoly requested a medical exemption from the vaccine mandate. He asked the State to treat him in the same manner as other health care workers being granted medical or religious exemptions.”
“Rhode Island’s refusal to acknowledge this medical risk is, in effect, a state directive that Dr. Skoly must risk facial paralysis to continue to practice his profession,” the lawsuit continued. “This state directive is a callous violation of Dr. Skoly’s rights, and unnecessary to protect the vulnerable patient.”
Skoly is represented by the Washington, D.C.- based civil rights group the New Civil Liberties Alliance. He is chairman of the Rhode Island Center for Freedom and Prosperity.
Navy SEAL Candidate Dies, 2nd Hospitalized After ‘Hell Week’
Epoch Times – One Navy SEAL candidate died and a second was hospitalized after they completed the “Hell Week” that ends the first phase of assessment of the special operations force candidates.
Naval Special Warfare Command said in a statement to news outlets on Feb. 4 that the SEAL candidate’s cause of death is not yet known. The injured candidate is in stable condition at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, officials said.
The Navy confirmed on Sunday that 24-year-old Seaman Kyle Mullen died at Sharp Coronado Hospital in California on Friday.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to Seaman Mullen’s family for their loss,” Rear Admiral H.W. Howard III said in the statement. “We are extending every form of support we can to the Mullen family and Kyle’s BUD/S classmates,” Howard added.
The trainees “were not actively training when they reported symptoms and were transported to receive emergency care,” the Navy said.
“My prayers are with the family and loved ones of the deceased during this very difficult time, and I wish for a full recovery of the other candidate reported injured yesterday,” House Rep. Scott Peters (D-Calif.) said in a statement, local media reported.
He added: “These courageous, talented sailors were on their way to becoming some of our country’s most elite military personnel. We must find out what transpired so we can do whatever we can to keep others safe. In the days and weeks ahead, I look forward to learning more as the Navy conducts a thorough investigation.”
The last SEAL candidate to die during the assessment phase before the death on Feb. 4 was in 2016. James Derek Lovelace, 21, was treading water with his gear in a massive pool when an instructor pushed him underwater at least twice.
Manhattan District Attorney Backtracks on Controversial Crime Policies
Epoch Times – Democrat Alvin Bragg took over as the Manhattan District Attorney on Jan. 1 and soon introduced criminal policies that attracted criticism for being too soft on crime. A month into his office, Bragg is now backtracking on policies, presenting a tougher stance on crime.
In his “Day One” memorandum issued after assuming the post, Bragg stated that the District Attorney’s office would no longer consider resisting arrest, fare evasion, and other nonviolent crimes for prosecution.
In addition, prosecutors were asked to consider armed robbery carried out against commercial institutions as misdemeanor petty larceny provided there is no risk of physical harm. Bragg insisted that his newly revamped policies will make the region “safer.”
The proposed rules were heavily criticized, with New York City police commissioner Keechant Sewell warning that the measures will invite violence against police officers. They will also damage the relationship between officers and members of the local community they are obliged to protect, Sewell said.
On Jan. 21, police officer Jason Rivera was shot along with his colleague while on duty. At his funeral, Rivera’s wife blamed Bragg and his new policies, saying that the system “continues to fail us.”
Meanwhile, the head of NYPD’s largest union pointed out that officers have no interest in trying to enforce laws that district attorneys will not prosecute.
Facing mounting pressure, Bragg updated his policies. In a letter sent to staff on Feb. 4, the district attorney said that violence against police officers “will not be tolerated.” Anyone who tries to harm an officer will be prosecuted, he promised. Bragg also admitted that his “Day One” memorandum had caused confusion among people.
“A commercial robbery with a gun will be charged as a felony, whether or not the gun is operable, loaded, or a realistic imitation. A commercial robbery at knifepoint, or by other weapon that creates a risk of physical harm, will be charged as a felony … In retail thefts that do not involve a risk of physical harm, the Office will continue to assess the charges based on all of the aggravating and mitigating circumstances presented,” the letter said.
Republican Joe Borelli, city council minority leader, stated that Bragg must have realized the jeopardy officers would face if his Day One policies would have been enforced. He found it shameful that Bragg was the “last person to realize” that the public wants criminals behind bars, reported the NY Post.
“We hope this updated memo filters down to the streets the way the first one did because gun-toting criminals definitely believe they have a safe haven in Manhattan … DA Bragg needs to keep sending the message that they won’t get a pass, and his staff needs to back that message up in the courtroom,” Police Benevolent Association President Patrick Lynch said in a statement.
Manhattan’s assault and robbery crime rates tend to be higher than the overall rate of the country. Out of 100,000 residents, Manhattan has an annual assault rate of 378.4 and a robbery rate of 228.3, compared to the countrywide rates of 282.7 and 135.5 respectively, according to Niche.
Sixteen Book Titles up for Ban consideration in Florida Schools
Epoch TImes – Sixteen books in Polk County school libraries have been pulled from the shelves and “quarantined” because the content was considered “obscene, or harmful to children.” Polk County Public Schools (PCPS) administrators spent the morning of Jan. 25 collecting books from media centers throughout the county after County Citizens Defending Freedom (CCDF), a conservative organization, complained to Polk County School Superintendent Frederick Heid that the books contained material “harmful to children.” In an email sent throughout the district, Heid said he did not believe it was his role to “approve/evaluate instructional or resource materials at that level.” But, “it is also my obligation to provide safeguards to protect our employees. The district will be taking steps to ensure that we address this issue honestly, fairly and transparently.”
They listed 16 different books for Polk County School District to review, claiming the content of the books violate Florida Statue 847.012, which in part says:
“Any book, pamphlet, magazine, printed matter however reproduced, or sound recording that contains any matter defined in S. 847.001, explicit and detailed verbal descriptions or narrative accounts of sexual excitement, or sexual conduct and that is harmful to minors.”
Those who violate these terms could face a third-degree felony.
“The Bluest Eye” by Toni Morrison is one of the books on the list. It is about a young Black girl growing up during the depression in Ohio. The book dives into female oppression through her lens and discusses what it felt like to live through racism.
“The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini is another novel on the list. His story is about a Muslim boy from Afghanistan, Kabul who recalls traumatic incidents from his childhood which include violence and sexual assault.
Other novels on the list highlight the LGBTQ+ community or suicide, in books like “Thirteen Reasons Why.”
“It is important to note that these 16 books have not been censored or banned at this time. They have been removed so a thorough, thoughtful review of their content can take place,” said Jason Geary, spokesman for Polk County Public Schools, adding that these books will be not be available to students while under review.
Meanwhile, Shawanda Bonner Morgan says she feels like this may be the beginning of what she sees as a growing trend across the nation.
“There’s this push for regression, from taking the books out of the schools to limiting the curriculum, that some of the kids have been learning for a long time,” said Morgan. “If I can be frank, this is just another round in our history of white backlash.”
“It always happens when one marginalized group or another decides to voice their oppression or trauma. This is one example of what’s going on across the country,” she went on to say.
Morgan told me she’s encouraging her community to get involved.
“A lot of the problem is people aren’t aware,” said Morgan. “A lot of parents, a lot of teachers, community members, they aren’t aware of what’s happening so they aren’t in place at meetings and standing in solidarity and letting the school board know this is not acceptable in our community.”

World Food Prices Accelerate In January, Set For Record High

Food prices continued to accelerate in January. The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) Food Price Index (FFPI), a measure of the monthly change in international prices of a basket of food commodities, averaged 135.7 points last month, up 1.5 points (1.1%) higher than in December. FFPI nears the 2011’s all-time high and could hit soon hit a record high
Rome-based FAO said the meat index had the most significant monthly jump, up 17.3%. Next was a 4.2% increase in the vegetable oils index (marking an all-time high), the dairy index rose 2.4%, cereals were flat, and sugar was down 3.1%.
Manhattan Retail Rents Plunge Without Office Workers, Tourists
Activist Post – As back-to-work slips in Manhattan and tourist activity across the borough struggles to regain pre-pandemic levels, retail rents are still dropping, according to Bloomberg.
Average asking rents in the borough plunged 14% in the fourth quarter of 2021 compared with one year ago, according to a new report published Monday by commercial real estate services company Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. (JLL).
JLL said retail rents in the quarter fell the most in Times Square, down 37%, but the repricing has resulted in some retailers signing new leases, taking advantage of heavily discounted rents.
Lawmakers stay largely silent over Chinese takeover of US bank branches
The Hill (05/13/12 )U.S. lawmakers have been unusually silent about federal regulators’ decision to allow a Chinese bank to take over 13 bank branches in New York and California, suggesting that they think American banks have much to gain.
Members of both parties usually relish the chance to bash China on everything from government subsidies to the yuan’s exchange rate. Yet Wednesday’s decision by the Federal Reserve to certify a Chinese bank acquisition for the first time was met by near-universal silence.
Scott Talbott, the head lobbyist for the Financial Services Roundtable, said that’s unsurprising. The U.S. wants China to open up its financial services market – foreign ownership of Chinese banks is limited to 25 percent – and allowing a Chinese presence in the U.S. is seen as a necessary trade-off.
“What this boils down to is that there are a ton more potential customers in China for U.S. banks than there are potential customers for the Chinese here,” Talbott said. “So in the long run, the approval is going to benefit the U.S.”
Wednesday’s decision allows Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, which is 70 percent owned by the Chinese government, to take an 80 percent stake in a Hong Kong-based bank with 13 branches in the U.S. The Fed also allowed two other Chinese banks to open branches in New York and Chicago.
The decision came days after Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner met with top Chinese officials for annual talks in Beijing. China agreed during those talks to allow foreigners a greater stake in Chinese brokerage firms.

Reuters – The world’s top central banks are about to embark on “the largest quantitative tightening in history”, analysts at Morgan Stanley said on Friday, estimating that $2.2 trillion worth of support would disappear over the next 12 months.
A surge in global inflation is forcing the U.S. Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, Bank of Japan and Bank of England to reel in the support measures used during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Fed is now expected to hike U.S. interest rates five times this year, which would be the fastest since 2005-06. This week has also seen the BoE raise its rates for the second time in three months, while the ECB has fanned bets that it will deliver its first hike in a decade. read more
“G4 central bank balance sheets will peak in May,” Morgan Stanley’s analysts said, adding the $2.2 trillion reduction they expected would be 4.5 times larger that in 2018 when the around $500 billion was lost.
“We forecast the European Central Bank’s balance sheet to actually shrink faster than the Fed’s from May 2022 to May 2023, given less liquidity via TLTROs,” they said referring to ECB’s ultra-cheap and unlimited funding provision to euro zone banks.

The company has reportedly communicated to employees that it is stopping scheduling for new installations as a result. Electrek, who first reported on the news, says “It’s not clear when those problems will be solved.”
Most of the solar industry has been experiencing supply chain delays. These constraints are beginning to impact Solar Roof as well. This will lead to delays in scheduling installations for Tesla customers not already on the calendar.

Polk County, GA — There is no question that 2020 was one of the most difficult years in American history. As the government shut down the economy, driving unemployment to record levels and forcing businesses to close their doors forever, tens of millions of Americans found themselves in dire straits. To deal with the unprecedented hard times, some folks like Tim Leslie and his family began to get creative, buying property and homesteading. However, because the land of the free is but a fleeting memory in this country, government officials did all they could to thwart it.
We first reported on the Leslie family last year after Tim lost his job due to the pandemic. With no other options in mind, he bought a plot of land in Polk County, parked an RV on it and began to live off the land. On the property, Leslie has chickens, goats, and a vegetable garden for his wife and their two kids, 9-year-old Knox and 18-month-old Daisy.
The family planned on building their “forever home” on the property where they would retire. Unfortunately, however, that has yet to happen. TFTP has been keeping up with Leslie over the last year and they keep hitting speed bump after speed bump.

Many doctors around the world started using the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) early on in the COVID-19 pandemic. Among them is Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, a practicing physician in a Jewish community in Monroe, New York.
He garnered national attention in March 2020 when he told radio host Sean Hannity that he’d had a near-100% success rate treating COVID-19 patients with HCQ, azithromycin and zinc sulfate for five days. “I’ve seen remarkable results; it really prevents progression of disease, and patients get better,” he said at the time.
In response, county health officials said Zelenko’s claims were “unsubstantiated” and urged residents to listen to public health officials. In this interview, he explains how HCQ works against COVID-19, and discusses the lies spun about the drug to suppress its widespread use. Zelenko had a very active Twitter account and would get millions of views on his tweets, and like many other truth tellers in this crazy pandemic, he was censored and recently removed from Twitter.
“When we have a large population of people that need to be treated, it has to be oral, cheap, safe and effective,” he says. “By the way, this is not new. This information was known in 2005 — even before.
There are papers with [Dr. Anthony] Fauci’s name on it, calling [HCQ] a miracle drug. Fauci called HCQ a vaccine. There’s a paper in which he called it an absolute dream treatment and vaccine. So, it’s conveniently forgotten but that’s what it is. It’s a matter of scientific record.”
What is most impressive to me is that he, through deep research and trial and error in the trenches, determined an incredibly effective protocol, and he did this under enormous personal health challenges. During the spring of last year, he was diagnosed with a type of pulmonary sarcoma that is typically considered terminal, and although improved, he continues to be under treatment for this condition.

CDC Signals Changes to COVID-19 Vaccine Schedule, in Part to Address Heart Inflammation
Epoch Times – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Feb. 4 outlined an expected change to the COVID-19 vaccine schedule for people with weak immune systems and signaled that a different alteration is coming for the general population to try to cut the number of post-vaccination heart inflammation cases.
The CDC told its vaccine advisory panel that it’s planning to adjust guidance for people with compromised immune systems, a group that doesn’t respond as well to vaccines as the general population and is the only population that is advised to get four doses of the Moderna or Pfizer messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines.
Current CDC guidance for the immunocompromised says they should receive three doses of an mRNA vaccine within two months, and a fourth dose at least five months after the third dose.
The revised schedule would recommend the population get that fourth shot as soon as three months after their third one.

Papua New Guinean PM Tests Positive to COVID-19 During Trip to Winter Olympic Opening Ceremony
Papua New Guinean Prime Minister James Marape has tested positive for COVID-19 upon arriving in Beijing on Feb. 3 for the opening of the Winter Olympic Games.
His office revealed on Feb. 6, that the prime minister will not travel to France the following week for the Indo-Pacific summit, where he was slated to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
“Prime Minister Marape will now abort the French leg of this trip due to COVID-19 restrictions, having returned a positive test result upon arrival in Beijing last Thursday evening,” the prime minister’s office said in a statement obtained by Reuters.
Marape’s short visit to China coincided with the signing of several deals with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, who he met virtually on Feb. 5.
Rep. Murphy Wants More Studies to Assess the Impact of Lockdowns
Epoch Times – Further assessment of the impact of COVID-19 lockdowns must be conducted, said Rep. Greg Murphy (R-N.C.), a practicing physician, because initial data show that there were many unintended deaths from isolating people at home.
“We know a lot more people have died in relation to what our actions were during the pandemic, than maybe perhaps even the pandemic itself,” Murphy told NTD’s “Capitol Report” on Feb. 4.
Murphy, a transplant surgeon, said lockdowns prevented close to 9 million people from having cancer screenings and thousands of people from having chest pains checked out, “and then subsequently [they] had heart attacks and died at home.”
He also said that keeping people from going to their houses of worship, schools, and family celebrations resulted in increased isolation and depression.
“And so, it’s really taken away not only years of education, but years of socialization. You have seen subsequent results from that … 100,000 people died from overdose deaths.
FDA Restores Document on Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Approval After Outcry
Epoch TImes – The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has restored to its website a document that outlines why it approved Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine, days after the regulatory agency pulled the 30-page file offline after receiving questions about it from The Epoch Times.
No explanation has been given for why the document vanished hours after the questions were sent, although the removal triggered pushback from the National Vaccine Information Center and multiple members of Congress.
“The coincidental removal of the approval documents for the Moderna vaccine is another massive blow to the credibility of the FDA, and I call on the agency to release this document immediately,” Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), a member of the House Oversight Committee, told The Epoch Times via email on Feb. 4.
The document in question is called the Summary Basis for Regulatory Action (SBRA) and was made public on Feb. 1, one day after the FDA approved Moderna’s jab without consulting its expert advisory panel.
After The Epoch Times sent questions about critical portions of the document, it disappeared from the agency’s website. It popped back up after multiple emails and phone calls from The Epoch Times.
Epoch Times – Three United States military doctors have blown the whistle on documents allegedly from The United States Department of Defense (DoD) that they had access to, which show “skyrocketing rates of disease” since the introduction and mandating of the CCP virus vaccines in armed forces, human rights attorney Leigh Dundas told The Epoch Times.
Dundas was recently approached by Dr. Samuel Sigoloff, Special Forces flight surgeon Lt. Col. Peter Chambers, and Aerospace occupational medicine specialist Lt. Col. Theresa Long.
They handed documents to Dundas, who appeared recently with attorney Tom Renz in a five-hour hearing organized by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) titled “COVID-19: Second Opinion.”
Renz shared some of the numbers related to medical disorders in the U.S. military data with The Epoch Times.
The whistleblowers, who are represented by Renz, gave him the data “under penalty of perjury,” he said during the hearing.
Renz intends to submit the information to the courts, he told Johnson.
The DoD responded that the DMED (Defense Medical Epidemiology Database) data from 2016 to 2020 that the whistleblowers brought up was erroneous and incomplete, and is currently under review.
“DHA’s Armed Forces Surveillance Division (AFSD) conducted a complete review of the data contained in the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) and found that the data was incorrect for the years 2016-2020,” Maj. Charlie Dietz, a spokesperson for the DoD, told The Epoch Times.
“DMED is a web-based tool to query de-identified active component personnel and medical event data contained within the Defense Medical Surveillance System (DMSS).
“Comparing the DMED database to the source data contained in DMSS, AFHSD discovered that the total number of medical diagnoses from 2016-2020 that were accessible in DMED represented only a small fraction of actual medical diagnoses for those years. In contrast, the 2021 total number of medical diagnoses were up to date in DMED. Comparison of 2021 to 2016-2020 resulted in the appearance of significant increased occurrence of all medical diagnoses in 2021 because of the under-reported data for 2016-2020. AFHSD has taken DMED offline to identify and correct the root-cause of the data corruption,” Dietz said.
Renz responded: “The DoD has claimed that the DMED data from the years 2016-2020 was incorrect. This is absurd. We spend millions of dollars per year on DMED and people monitoring DMED which is one of the premier epidemiological databases in the world. Accuracy in this database is critical as it is used to monitor for health issues in our troops.
“The DoD would have us believe that the DMED database was wrong from 2016-2020 but then magically was corrected in 2021 despite the fact that they had not noticed it was wrong until we pointed it out in our testimony before Senator Johnson. Further, we are asked to believe that in 2020, the year of what they claim to be the greatest pandemic since 1918, and despite the fact that it is documented that the CDC was also watching this database, no one noticed an error of 20 million-plus injury/disease codes per year,” Renz told The Epoch Times.
“The Department of Defense, the Biden administration is on notice they must preserve these records and this must be investigated,” Johnson said in the five-hour hearing in Washington.
“Renz also informed me that some DMED data showing registered diagnoses of myocarditis had been removed from the database. Following the allegation that DMED data had been doctored, I immediately wrote to you on January 24 requesting that you preserve all records referring, relating, or reported to DMED. I have yet to hear whether you have complied with this request.” Johnson wrote in a letter (pdf) to Lloyd Austin, the U.S. defense secretary.

Spotify Removes Dozens of ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ Episodes: Report
Epoch Times – Swedish streaming platform Spotify has pulled down more than 100 episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” from its services since Feb. 4, according to reports.
The tech giant’s removal of the episodes comes amid controversy that Rogan is facing in connection to the opinions presented by his guests regarding the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus—with several musicians, as well as White House press secretary Jen Psaki, accusing the top-rated podcast host of “spreading COVID-19 misinformation” on his popular show.
However, the shows that were removed aren’t directly connected with the controversy because the episodes were from years ago. Rogan has operated his podcast for more than a decade.
The removal was spotted by the web tool JREMissing.com, which tracks missing episodes.
A total of 113 episodes had been removed as of Feb. 5.
Michael Malice, a Ukrainian American author and media personality, said on Twitter that two episodes he previously featured in were pulled down, also noting that both episodes were pre-pandemic.
While there has been no confirmation on the specific reason Spotify quietly removed the episodes, Rogan recently posted an almost five-minute video on his personal Instagram account where he mentioned a compilation of video clips made by critics that featured him “using racial slurs.”
Rogan said in the post that the compilation of video clips made of him using inappropriate language was used out of context and he never wanted to offend anyone.
“I’m making this video to talk about the most regretful and shameful thing that I’ve ever had to talk about publicly,” Rogan said. “There is a video that is out … of me saying the N-word. It’s a video that is made of clips taken out of context of me—of 12 years of conversations on my podcast, and it is all smushed together.
“There’s nothing I can do to take that back. I wish I could. Obviously, that’s not possible. I certainly wasn’t trying to be racist, and I certainly would never want to offend someone for entertainment with something as stupid as racism.”
Rogan continued that he hasn’t used the word in years, explaining that “it’s not [his] word to use,” adding that he’s well aware of that.
The move comes as Spotify CEO Daniel Ek announced last week that the company will be introducing content advisory warnings on episodes that include the virus that causes COVID-19.
When asked by a reporter during a White House press briefing about Spotify’s decision to add disclaimers, Psaki said that it is “a positive step”—but the Biden administration wants “every platform to continue doing more” in calling out “COVID-19 misinformation.”
Several artists have recently demanded Spotify to remove episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast from the platform after claiming the 54-year-old host promoted false information about the CCP virus and vaccines.
Rogan has responded to the critics that he wasn’t trying to “promote misinformation” or “be controversial”—adding that he was simply seeking to have conversations on his podcast with people who have “differing opinions.”
Epoch Times – Journalist Lara Logan has announced that she intends to quit big tech social media platforms Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, accusing the networks of allowing pedophilic content to be shared while censoring free speech and alternate perspectives.
The award-winning journalist asserted in a Feb. 4 social media post that she cannot “in good conscience” be part of platforms that “glorify & enrich themselves” while exploiting children. Discovering that these platforms host content showing abuse and sexual exploitation of children as well as animals was a “shock,” Logan said.
“I had no idea such a depraved ideology was being pushed on this scale or the insidious ways the worst of humanity is normalized, promoted & quietly glorified by the same platforms who censor free speech from truckers, doctors, naturalists, vaccine injured & so on. It’s wrong,” Logan said in another post while adding that she plans on moving to Locals, Gettr, or any other platform that puts a priority on “the rights of children, animals, free speech and basic human decency.”
Logan, who works with Fox News, triggered a controversy in November last year when she compared White House medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci to Dr. Josef Mengele, the Nazi physician who earned the nickname “Angel of Death.” Mengele is known to have conducted experiments with Jews during the Second World War.
Logan’s exit from social media networks once again brings to light the issue of explicit and implicit pedophilic content on these platforms, especially on Twitter. In January last year, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation Law Center (NCOSE) along with two other law firms filed a federal lawsuit against the company.
According to the lawsuit, 13-year-old “John Doe,” the plaintiff, had shared sexual content with traffickers under duress. Three years later, the plaintiff discovered that these sexually explicit videos were circulating on Twitter.

She was fired. A math teacher in the city was also fired for an anti-police Instagram post that many took as an endorsement of violence against the police. So, it’s fitting that the Hollywood Left would weigh in on this as well

The CCDH also claims the content on Substack is “so bad no one else will host it”
Substack CEO Chris Best and his two cofounders have brushed off calls for censorship saying that allowing “the presence of writers with whom we strongly disagree” is a “necessary precondition for creating more trust in the information ecosystem as a whole”
