Tony Blair Warns Biden to Avoid Interfering in UK Politics During Northern Ireland Visit

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair warned President Joe Biden to not overstep his bounds and interfere in the internal politics of the United Kingdom during his visit to Northern Ireland.

President Joe Biden should act with “care and with sensitivity” when he arrives in the UK province of Northern Ireland on Tuesday to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Peace Agreement, ex-British PM Tony Blair said.

UN Seeks Vast New Powers for Global Emergencies

The United Nations is seeking vast new powers and stronger “global governance” tools to deal with international emergencies such as pandemics and economic crises, a new U.N. policy brief has revealed, and the Biden administration appears to support the proposal.

The plan to create an “Emergency Platform,” which would involve a set of protocols activated during crises that could affect billions of people, has already drawn strong concern and criticism from U.S. policymakers and analysts.

Among those expressing concern is House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), whose committee oversees U.S. foreign policy and involvement in international organizations.

Biden Administration Asked National Archives to Let FBI Access Boxes From Mar-a-Lago: Letter

The Biden administration, months before the Mar-a-Lago raid, asked the federal agency in charge of keeping the nation’s records to let the FBI pore over documents from former President Donald Trump’s home, a newly disclosed letter shows.

The White House Counsel’s Office sent the request to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in April, acting Archivist Debra Wall later told Evan Corcoran, a lawyer for Trump.

“On April 11, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office—affirming a request from the Department of Justice supported by an FBI letterhead memorandum—formally transmitted a request that NARA provide the FBI access to the 15 boxes for its review within seven days, with the possibility that the FBI might request copies of specific documents following its review of the boxes,” Wall said in the letter, which was first published by Just the News. NARA released a copy on Aug. 23.

The boxes were transferred to NARA in mid-January from Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida resort, after months of negotiations, NARA has said. David Ferriero, the archivist until May, previously told a House of Representatives panel that the boxes contained classified documents, although Trump has maintained he declassified the materials and cooperated with NARA.

Bragg Sues Jordan Over Alleged ‘Campaign to Intimidate’

Manhattan’s district attorney has sued Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), alleging the top Republican member has launched a campaign meant to intimidate.

A New York grand jury, encouraged by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, recently brought charges against former President Donald Trump, drawing intense criticism from Jordan and other Republicans. Jordan has subpoenaed one of Bragg’s top former lieutenants, and asked for documents and testimony from a current deputy, in addition to publicly lambasting Bragg’s decision.

Jordan, a Republican, has launched “a transparent campaign to intimidate and attack District Attorney Bragg, making demands for confidential documents and testimony from the District Attorney himself as well as his current and former employees and officials,” Bragg, a Democrat, claimed in the new suit, lodged in federal court in New York.

The filing says Congress does not have the power to supervise state criminal prosecutions and that Jordan’s actions infringe on state sovereignty.

Kari Lake Says She Is Still ‘Laser-Focused’ on Arizona Election Lawsuit

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake responded to questions about her political future by saying that she is focused on pursuing her election-related lawsuit as it plays out in the state Supreme Court but is leaving the door open for a Senate run.

“People keep asking me about my future. But I am laser-focused on seeing my court case through to the end. That’s my present. As for the future? I can promise you that I’m not stepping out of the political arena anytime soon. Not until I put the people of Arizona First,” she wrote on Twitter.

But in an interview with OANN, Lake said that she is strongly considering running for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.), who is up for reelection in 2024.

“I am seriously considering a run for Senate, yes absolutely,” Lake said. “Just because they stole an election … we’re so dangerous to them, I’m so dangerous to the status quo and this rotten swamp that they’re willing to steal an election to stop me and our movement. I’m not letting them get away with that. We’re not going away. And so I am seriously considering a run for Senate.”

Report: First Quarter of 2023 Sees ‘Significant Increase’ In Acts of Hostility Against Churches

January through March of 2023 has seen a “significant increase in acts of hostility” against churches compared to the same time frame last year, according to an April report from the Family Research Council.

“Research conducted by Family Research Council (FRC) indicates that criminal acts against churches have been steadily on the rise for the past several years, and the first quarter of 2023 has continued the upward trend,” according to the report.

Census Data Shows Mass Exodus from Democrat-Run Cities to Red States

Counties overlapping Democrat-run cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York top the list of locales that have been losing population, while the biggest inflows of people have been to Arizona, Texas, and Florida, according to census data.

A Press Release by the United States Census Bureau revealed that the top county in terms of population loss was Los Angeles County, which lost 90,704 people over a one-year period from 2021 to 2022.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin vowed on April 11 to “investigate and turn over every rock” to find who was behind the leaking of Pentagon documents.

“We take this very seriously and we will continue to investigate and turn over every rock until we find the source of this and the extent of it,” he said during a press conference at the State Department following a meeting with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo, and Philippine Officer in Charge of the Department of National Defense Carlito Galvez.

“Now, I can’t say much more while the Justice Department’s investigation is ongoing. But we take this very seriously,” added Austin. “And we will continue to work closely with our outstanding allies and partners. And nothing will ever stop us from keeping America secure.”

Austin said he was first briefed of the leak of documents on April 6. Since then, he said, he has “been convening senior department leaders daily on our response, and I’ve directed an urgent cross-department effort and we’ve referred the matter to [Department of Justice] DOJ.”

Appeals Court Ruling May Threaten DOJ Position in Dozens of Jan. 6 Cases: Lawyer

An April 7 decision issued by the D.C. Court of Appeals may jeopardize a key legal backing used by the Department of Justice (DOJ) to prosecute participants of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach, according to attorney Albert Watkins.

“What this opinion did do was, it practically begged for other [Jan. 6] cases to be brought up to the Court of Appeals that would permit a more balanced opinion,” Watkins, who has represented four Jan. 6 defendants, including released prisoner Jacob Chansley, told The Epoch Times in an interview on April 11.

Watkins’ comment came after a three-judge panel at the D.C. Court of Appeals, on April 7, struck down a lower court’s ruling in a 2–1 vote, dismissing a federal charge against three Jan. 6 defendants, and rejected the lower court’s reasoning about the scope of the obstruction charge.

While the higher court’s ruling (pdf) allowed the DOJ’s prosecution of these three specific defendants—Joseph Fischer, Edward Lang, and Garret Miller—to continue, the impact of the higher court’s opinion extends beyond these cases, the attorney said.

Baltimore Mayor Announces Youth Curfew After 2 Teens Injured in Shooting

The mayor of Baltimore announced his intention to enact a 9 p.m. curfew for people 14 years old and younger after a shooting that wounded two teens the night of April 9.

Fight among a group of more than 200 teens took place in the city’s Inner Harbor at 9 p.m., according to WBAL-TV.

When police tried to stop the fights, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot. One of them was in critical condition, and the other was in stable condition as of Monday, WBAL reported.

Two suspects were arrested, police said, including one with a loaded gun who matched a description of the shooter and another who was suspected of having a weapon in a police garage, WBAL reported.

In addition to the 9 p.m. curfew, Scott also announced a 10 p.m. curfew for teens aged 15 to 17, WJZ-TV reported.

“I want everyone to hear me and hear me clearly,” Scott said. “We are going back to the old days. We will be enforcing a youth curfew as we move into the latter spring and summer months.”

Video Shows Hundreds of Kids Chanting ‘Let’s Go, Brandon’ at Missouri Wrestling Event

A state representative shared a video on Twitter that shows hundreds of kids chanting the anti-Biden slogan “Let’s Go Brandon” at a youth wrestling event in Independence, Missouri.

The video was shared by state Rep. Aaron McMullen on Saturday, the Kansas City Star revealed.

“What’s happening in Independence, MO? Don’t ever let them tell you we are losing the youth. Let’s Go Brandon!” McMullen tweeted along with the video clearly showing the chants.

Florida Teacher Accused of Letting Students Brawl in Class While She Watched

Fake Five Stars: FTC Orders Supplement Company to Pay Fine for Hijacking Amazon Reviews

The Bountiful Company, the company behind supplements such as Nature’s Bounty vitamins, has been accused of exploiting Amazon’s review features to boost sales by merging the reviews of different products.

TechCrunch reports that The Bountiful Company, the manufacturer of Nature’s Bounty vitamins and other brands, has been ordered by the FTC to pay $600,000 for misleading customers on Amazon by engaging in “review hijacking.” This practice involves taking customer reviews of certain products and applying them to other products to increase sales of the lesser known items. The case represents the first time the FTC has taken enforcement action regarding review hijacking.

10 House Republicans to File Amicus Brief in Suit Seeking to Overturn Omnibus Spending Bill

House Democrats violated the Constitution in December in approving the $1.7 trillion Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 omnibus spending bill with proxy voting, according to an amicus brief introduced by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas.

Roy, along with nine other Republican members of Congress, were set to submit the amicus brief Tuesday about the harms of congressional proxy voting through a representative due to an absence. The brief supports a lawsuit brought by the state of Texas to invalidate the Consolidated Appropriations Act’s passage.

The 10 members of Congress pledged their support of Texas v. Garland, a Feb. 15 lawsuit calling the passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2023 unconstitutional due to the absence of a quorum present in the House of Representatives.

The spending bill passed mostly along party lines on a 225-201 vote. Nine Republicans voted for the bill, while one Democrat voted against it.

“For the first time in our nation’s history, by using proxy voting, Congress engaged in voting on the passage of bills outside the hallowed halls of the Capitol,” the brief states.

The language of the Constitution requires members of Congress to vote within the walls of the Capitol—no matter what, according to the brief.

“For 231 years, Congress has met in person,” the 10 lawmakers wrote. “The Constitution’s requirements survived wars, pandemics, natural disasters, terrorist attacks, and numerous other crises through history, and Congress had never voted by proxy to enact bills before 2020.”

Health Coach Tip – Why Prioritize Your Oral Health?

Did you know that maintaining good oral health goes beyond just having a sparkling smile and fresh breath? Research has shown that oral health is connected to several other areas of health, including brain health, heart health, and metabolic health. Here’s a look at how oral health affects these different aspects of our health:

Oral health and the brain

Poor oral health has been linked to cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease. Research has found that individuals with gum disease have a significantly higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease compared to those without gum disease. The mechanisms which link oral health and brain health are still under research. However, there is evidence to suggest that the bacteria that cause gum disease can travel from the mouth to the brain and potentially contribute to the development of brain diseases. Studies have found that oral bacteria, such as Porphyromonas gingivalis, can enter the bloodstream and reach the brain, where it can cause inflammation and damage to brain cells. This inflammation and damage has been linked to the development of neurodegenerative conditions.

Oral health and the heart

Oral health is also linked to heart health; several studies have shown that individuals with gum disease have a higher risk of developing heart disease. The bacteria that cause gum disease can enter the bloodstream and contribute to the formation of plaque in the arteries, which can lead to heart disease. When oral bacteria enter the bloodstream, they can trigger an immune response, leading to inflammation in the blood vessels. This inflammation can cause the arteries to become narrow and stiff, making it difficult for blood to flow through. Over time, this can lead to the development of atherosclerosis, a condition in which plaque builds up inside the arteries, increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Maintaining good oral hygiene can help reduce the risk of heart disease.

Oral health and metabolic health

Research has also shown that oral health is connected to metabolic health. Individuals with gum disease have been found to have higher levels of insulin resistance, which is a risk factor for type 2 diabetes. The bacteria that cause gum disease can also contribute to inflammation in the body, which is a key driver of metabolic diseases. This inflammation can impair insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism, leading to insulin resistance and metabolic issues. Since chronic inflammation is a common feature of many metabolic diseases, such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, it is important to prioritize oral health to combat inflammation and metabolic disarray. What’s more, research shows that prioritizing oral hygiene improves metabolic health for those with type 2 diabetes: Researchers have found that treating gum disease in individuals with type 2 diabetes improved glycemic control and insulin sensitivity!

To conclude, maintaining good oral health is essential for our overall health and wellbeing. Research has shown that oral health is connected to brain health, heart health, and metabolic health. By practicing good oral hygiene, such as brushing and flossing regularly and visiting the dentist for regular check-ups, we can help reduce the risk of developing these health conditions. So now you know, a healthy mouth equals a healthy body!

US names veterinary drug, fentanyl mixture ’emerging threat’

The U.S. has named a veterinary tranquilizer as an “emerging threat” when it’s mixed with the powerful opioid fentanyl, clearing the way for more efforts to stop the spread of xylazine.

The Office of National Drug Control Policy announced the designation Wednesday, the first time the office has used it since the category for fast-growing drug dangers was created in 2019.

Dr. Rahul Gupta, director of the drug policy office, said xylazine (pronounced ZAI’-luh-zeen) has become increasingly common in all regions of the country.

It was detected in about 800 drug deaths in the U.S. in 2020 — most of them in the Northeast. By 2021, it was present in more than 3,000 fatalities —with the most in the South — according to a report last year from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

“We cannot ignore what we’re seeing,” Gupta said. “We must act and act now.”

The Increasing Availability and Risk of Injectable Skinniness

Semaglutide, known by the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus and others, is the latest weight-loss craze to hit Hollywood and beyond

The prescription drug, which is administered via a weekly injection, is intended to treat Type 2 diabetes, but it’s widely used off-label for weight loss

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist; along with affecting insulin, GLP-1 may influence the nervous system, leading to an appetite-reducing response

One year after stopping semaglutide, participants regained two-thirds of their prior weight loss

A pharmacovigilance study found an association between GLP-1RAs, including semaglutide, and pancreatic cancer

Are These Chemicals Causing Infertility and Stillbirths?

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are widely used in grease- and stain-resistant products, including food packaging, clothing, personal care products and household items

A study in children and young adults found an association between PFAS exposure and alterations in amino acid metabolism and lipid metabolism pathways

PFAS exposure may be causing inflammation and oxidative stress in youth, thus contributing to a variety of diseases

PFAS has been linked to declines in fertility and fecundability, the probability of getting pregnant within one menstrual cycle

When the combined effects of PFAS exposure were accounted for, exposure was associated with 30% to 40% lower chances of becoming pregnant within one year and delivering a live baby

IRS, Americans Unprepared to Shoulder Burden of New Tax Laws, Republicans Warn

With Tax Day looming just days away, two Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee are warning that neither the IRS nor the American people are prepared to shoulder the burdens imposed by new reporting requirements.

Voicing their concerns in an April 4 letter (pdf) to Government Accountability Office (GAO) Comptroller General Gene Dodaro, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and Oversight Subcommittee Chairman David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) asserted that the amount of paperwork and tax preparation required to comply with new rules and regulations will be unmanageable for all involved.

“In Fiscal Year 2021, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) received over 4.7 billion information returns—reports provided to the IRS to track business or trade payments and transactions—filed by third parties, most of which were filed electronically,” the lawmakers noted. “In addition, recent legislation drastically lowered the threshold to $600 for reporting certain types of payments, such as those made using a third-party platform like PayPal or Venmo. New regulations related to information reporting for transactions occurring across these digital assets could lead to the filing of billions more information returns.”

The new $600 reporting threshold was implemented through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which passed along party lines in both Democrat-controlled chambers of Congress.

Under previous law, platforms like PayPal and Venmo were only required to report a user’s transactions to the IRS if, over the course of a year, the individual completed more than 200 commercial transactions and made more than $20,000 in payments.

Fiscal Insanity: The Government Borrows $6 Billion a Day, and We’re Stuck with the Bill

We’re not living the American dream.

We’re living a financial nightmare.

The U.S. government is funding its existence with a credit card.

The government—and that includes the current administration—is spending money it doesn’t have on programs it can’t afford, and “we the taxpayers” are the ones being forced to foot the bill for the government’s fiscal insanity.

According to the number crunchers with the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, the government is borrowing roughly $6 billion a day.

As the Editorial Board for the Washington Post warns:

“The nation has reached a hazardous moment where what it owes, as a percentage of the total size of the economy, is the highest since World War II. If nothing changes, the United States will soon be in an uncharted scenario that weakens its national security, imperils its ability to invest in the future, unfairly burdens generations to come, and will require cuts to critical programs such as Social Security and Medicare. It is not a future anyone wants.

Analysis: Big Tech Conducts Mass Layoffs While Importing 34,000 Foreign H-1B Workers to Take American Jobs

Silicon Valley’s biggest tech corporations are continuing mass layoffs in the United States, even as they import more than 34,000 foreign H-1B visa workers to take coveted white-collar jobs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields, new analysis shows.

Nolte: Walmart to Close Four Stores in Democrat-Run Chicago

Walmart is closing four of its remaining eight stores in the imploding, Democrat-run city of Chicago.

“The simplest explanation is that collectively our Chicago stores have not been profitable since we opened the first one nearly 17 years ago,” a Tuesday Walmart statement said. “These stores lose tens of millions of dollars a year, and their annual losses nearly doubled in just the last five years.”

Expert: Anti-Aging Pills To Hit Shelves In 2028

Pills that can help a person reverse the effects of aging could be on the market in the next five years, according to an expert.

Sam Altman, 37, was revealed to have funded biotech startup Retro BioScience to the tune of $180million last month. He is the latest in a long line of Silicon Valley billionaires to throw their considerable wealth behind the science of aging.

Amazon’s Jeff Bezos is reported to have invested $3billion in life-extension startup Altos Labs. PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel invested in the Methuselah Foundation, which has the goal of making ’90 the new 50′.

With all these resources being thrown at curing aging, Andrew Steele, the author of the 2020 book ‘Ageless: The new science of getting older without getting old’, believes pills to prevent aging may be on pharmacy shelves within five years.

He points to existing medications — such as the diabetes tablet metformin – that could be retooled as anti-aging treatments in the ‘very, very near term’.

Steele said: ‘With these billionaires, I’m sure some of them are doing it purely for personal gain — they’ve got all this money and they can’t possibly spend it in a single human lifetime.

‘But… if you’re a savvy investor, you can see that anti-aging medication is a huge business opportunity because the potential market is every living human.

‘I think it’s going to be the biggest revolution in medicine since the discovery of antibiotics — and as a savvy business person, you want to be on the leading edge of that revolution.’

‘ChaosGPT’ AI Instructed to ‘Destroy Humanity,’ ‘Establish Global Dominance’

A third-party implementation of OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 large language model is instructed to “destroy humanity” and “cause chaos and destruction,” among other nefarious goals.

ChaosGPT — a “modified version” of the open-source Auto-GPT project — is described in a Youtube video as a “destructive, power-hungry, manipulative AI,” instructed to “destroy humanity,” “establish global dominance,” “cause chaos and destruction,” “control humanity through manipulation,” and “attain immortality.”

FBI Undercover Agent Developed Plan to Spy on Catholics: Jordan

The chair of the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed FBI Director Christopher Wray for all records relating to a leaked internal memo that proposed developing sources in traditionalist Catholic parishes to inform on potential “violent extremists” in such houses of worship.

In an April 10 letter (pdf) attached to the subpoena, Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) noted that the committee’s investigation of that Jan. 23 memo, which has since been repudiated by the FBI, had revealed that it was produced by at least one undercover agent and that, despite leadership’s claims to the contrary, the bureau intended to act on the memo’s recommendations.

“Based on the limited information produced by the FBI to the Committee, we now know that the FBI relied on at least one undercover agent to produce its analysis, and that the FBI proposed that its agents engage in outreach to Catholic parishes to develop sources among the clergy and church leadership to inform on Americans practicing their faith,” Jordan wrote to Wray. “This shocking information reinforces our need for all responsive documents, and the Committee is issuing a subpoena to you to compel your full cooperation.”

At Least 50 Undercover Officers and Informants Monitored Proud Boys, Jan. 6 Crowds, New Court Filing Says

Up to a dozen previously undisclosed undercover Metropolitan Police Department officers were embedded in the crowds on Jan. 6—including one who admitted joining in protester chants to “stop the steal”—according to an April 10 court filing in the Proud Boys seditious-conspiracy trial.

A motion for mistrial filed by defense attorney Roger Roots said the additional undercover officers bring the number of police, agents, and informants embedded in Jan. 6 crowds to at least 50.

He had filed an April 5 motion in the case that estimated the number to be 40.

Roots, who represents Proud Boys defendant Dominic Pezzola, asked U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly to declare a mistrial based on “numerous, repeated and yet-unfolding” instances where exculpatory evidence was withheld by federal prosecutors.

At an April 7 meeting with prosecutors, “the defense learned that there were at least 10 to 12 additional, previously unknown plainclothes MPD officers among the Proud Boys on Jan. 6,” Roots wrote.

“This brings the total number of informants among defendants on or around Jan. 6 to 50 or more,” he said. “And there are reasons to suspect the true number is higher.”

How to Grow Strawberries

Are you looking to add a delicious and healthy treat to your backyard garden? Look no further than growing strawberries! This article will teach you everything you need to know about growing strawberries, from planting to harvesting and preserving your crop.

There’s nothing quite like the taste of a freshly picked, juicy strawberry straight from your own backyard. Strawberries are easy to grow and have a variety of uses. Eat them just picked from the garden, make healthy strawberry smoothies, bake a strawberry pie with them, add them to a beverage, or make strawberry jam.

Early spring direct garden planting

Early spring direct garden planting is a subject that comes up regularly among gardeners. How early can seeds be directly sown in the garden? Let’s look into this from a theoretical but even more so from a practical point of view.

First, let me begin by saying that we are discussing early spring direct garden planting from a cold climate perspective. We are in Alberta Canada, plant hardiness zone 3A, elevation 1,037 m (3,402 ft). The closeness to the Rocky Mountains also makes it prone to very unpredictable weather. We have seen -20C (-4F) in late April as well as snow in June.

Still, early spring direct garden planting, and we mean really early as soon as the snow melts, is something that we have been experimenting with.

What can be planted directly in the garden and does not need indoor seed starting or winter sowing? If something can be done with less work, we are all for it.

Understanding the Psychology Behind the COVID Pandemic

A psychological condition of society known as “mass formation psychosis” is a condition for totalitarianism. Under mass formation psychosis, a population enters a hypnotic-type trance that makes them willing to sacrifice anything, including their lives and their freedom. That’s what’s happening right now

There are four key conditions that must be in place for mass formation psychosis to occur: Lack of societal bonding, experiencing life as meaningless and senseless, widespread free-floating anxiety/free-floating discontent, and free-floating frustration/aggression

Once these four conditions are widespread, mass formation can occur, which allows for totalitarianism to rise and thrive

A key strategy to break mass formation and prevent totalitarianism is to speak out against it. We also need to give those hypnotized a greater fear to replace the fear of the virus with, namely the fear of totalitarianism and the loss of their and their children’s lives, livelihoods and freedoms that go along with it

Dissenters need to join together, thereby giving fence-sitters who are not yet fully hypnotized an alternative to going along with the totalitarians

10 Reasons To Own An AR-15

The AR-15 rifle is once again under fire by gun banners—who ignore the fact that rifles of any kind are seldom used in crime, and seem to despise anyone who dares to own one. Many who are ignorant on firearms even consider the gun a “weapon of war,” suitable for nothing but murder and mayhem.

That couldn’t be further from the truth. Fact is, the AR-15-type rifle is the most popular rifle in America for many reasons. Here are my Top 10 reasons to own an AR-15, in no particular order:

Customers Stop Ordering Bud Light, Says Country Singer and Bar Owner

The public backlash against Bud Light is growing after the company featured transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney in a promotional campaign, according to country music singer John Rich.

“The customers decide. Customers are king,” Rich, who founded the Redneck Riviera bar and restaurant in Nashville, said Monday to Fox host Tucker Carlson. “I own a bar in downtown Nashville called Redneck Riviera. Our number-one selling beer up until a few days ago was what? Bud Light. We got cases and cases and cases of it sitting back there. But in the past several days, you’re hard-pressed to find anyone ordering one. So as a business owner, I go, hey if you aren’t ordering it, we got to put something else in here. At the end of the day, that’s capitalism. That’s how it works.”

Decades-long fans of brands are “finding it hard to stay loyal” to them, and going for other companies they can support. “And there are tons of up-and-coming American brands that people are flooding to right now,” said Rich.
