The Power Hour

Knowledge is Power

Today’s News: April 19, 2022

THIS DAY IN HISTORY: APRIL 19

American Revolutionary War begins; the 51-day siege at the Branch Davidian compound; 168 people are killed in the Oklahoma City bombing

n this day, April 19 …

1995: A truck bomb destroys the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Okla., killing 168 people. (Bomber Timothy McVeigh, who prosecutors said planned the attack as revenge for the Waco siege of two years earlier, would be convicted of federal murder charges and executed in 2001.)

Also on this day:

  • 1775: The American Revolutionary War begins with the battles of Lexington and Concord.
  • 1865: A funeral is held at the White House for President Abraham Lincoln, assassinated five days earlier; his coffin is then taken to the U.S. Capitol for a private memorial service in the Rotunda.
  • 1939: Connecticut becomes the last of the original 13 colonies to ratify the Bill of Rights, 147 years after it took effect.
  • 1951: Gen. Douglas MacArthur, relieved of his Far East command by President Harry S. Truman, bids farewell in an address to Congress in which he quotes a line from a ballad: “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.”
  • 1966: Bobbi Gibb, 23, becomes the first woman to run the Boston Marathon at a time when only men are allowed to participate.
  • 1977: The Supreme Court, in Ingraham v. Wright, rules 5-4 that even severe spanking of schoolchildren by faculty members does not violate the Eighth Amendment ban against cruel and unusual punishment.
  • 1993: The 51-day siege at the Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas, ends as fire destroys the structure after federal agents smash their way in; about 80 people, including two dozen children and sect leader David Koresh, are killed.
  • 1994: A Los Angeles jury awards $3.8 million to beaten motorist Rodney King.
  • 2005: Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany is elected pope in the first conclave of the new millennium; he takes the name Benedict XVI.
  • 2013: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, a 19-year-old college student wanted in the Boston Marathon bombings, is taken into custody after a manhunt that had left the city virtually paralyzed. (His older brother and alleged accomplice, 26-year-old Tamerlan, was killed earlier in an attempt to escape police.)
  • 2018: Raul Castro turns over Cuba’s presidency to Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, the first non-Castro to hold Cuba’s top government office since the 1959 revolution led by Fidel Castro and his younger brother Raul.
  • 2018: Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois brings her 10-day-old daughter to the Senate floor one day after senators approved a new rule permitting it; Duckworth was the first senator to have given birth while serving in the Senate.

The End of April: A Time of Human Sacrifice

Why do we often witness tragedy and senseless deaths during the second half of April? The list of violent events that occurred during this time period is simply staggering. Here are some of them:

  • April 19, 1993 – Waco Massacre: An FBI assault lead to the burning down of the compound of a sect named Branch Davidians, killing 76 men, women and children.
  • April 19, 1995 –  Oklahoma City bombing – 168 people killed.
  • April 20,  1999 – Columbine High School Massacre – 13 people murdered, 21 injured.
  • April 16, 2007 – Virginia Tech Massacre – 32 killed; 17 injured.
  • April 16, 2013 – Boston Marathon Explosions – 3 killed; 107 injured.
  • April 18, 2013 – Fertilizer plant explosion, Texas – 5-15 killed (Notice that this event occurred almost exactly 20 years after the Waco Massacre, which is in the same area. Also, on April 16, 1947, a ship loaded with ammonium nitrate docked at the Port of Texas City and erupted in flames, causing a massive explosion that killed approximately 576 people).

There were many other violent occurrences that happened during that time period. In fact, CNN published an article in 2011 titled What is it about mid-April and violence in America?, discussing the events that occur in Mid-April. Sadly, the article only bashed “conspiracy theorists” and basically said “If you look for answers further than mass media, you are crazy and potentially dangerous”. However, two years later, the violent trend continues.

Is it all a coincidence? For those in the know, there are no such things as coincidences. In 2011, I wrote an article about the death of Bin Laden, announced between April 30th and May 1st (see Why the Death of the Man Who Was Not Behind 9/11 Was Announced on May 1st). In that article, I briefly described the ritualistic significance of May 1st (May Day) and its relation to a god that is still important to the occult elite: Baal.

At least six dead as multiple explosions hit Kabul schools

At least six people have been killed and 11 others injured after multiple explosions rocked a high school and educational center in western Kabul on Tuesday.

It was not immediately clear how many of the dead were students, but seven injured children were taken to a hospital run by the NGO Emergency, the organization said on Twitter.

“Security forces are at the scene and investigations underway,” Kabul police chief spokesman Khalid Zadran said in a tweet, also giving the death toll.

He added that the Abdul Rahim Shaheed High School was hit with three explosions. The other facility attacked was the Mumtaz Educational Centre.

UK set for slowest growth in G7 as Ukraine war hits global economy

The war in Ukraine will “severely set back” the global economic recovery with the UK hit harder than most, the International Monetary Fund has said.

The conflict is driving up prices for food and fuel which the international body expects to slow growth globally.

It has cut its global forecast and also downgraded its outlook for the UK.

This means the UK will no longer be the fastest growing economy in the G7 group of leading Western nations, and will be the slowest in 2023, it says.

The body says that UK growth will slow as price pressures lead households to cut spending, while rising interest rates are expected to “cool investment”.

The UK’s economy is now predicted to grow by 3.7% this year, down from the previous forecast of 4.7% made in January.

However, next year, the UK is expected to have the slowest growth in the G7 and across Europe’s main economies, at just 1.2%, a near halving from the 2.3% expected previously.

The 2023 UK figure is the slowest apart from heavily-sanctioned Russia in the wider G20 grouping, which includes nations such as China and India.

Build Back Better Backtrack? UK Considering Scrapping Green Taxes from Energy Bills

The British government is reportedly considering a major reversal on its Build Back Better agenda by scrapping energy bill taxes used to subsidise supposedly green energy schemes amid the growing energy crisis.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s government is allegedly reviewing the levies placed on the energy bills of the public, in a move that could save around £153 for the average household, the British broadsheet most closely tied with the Tory government has claimed.

Ukrainian Official: Mariupol ‘Doesn’t Exist Anymore’ After Russia Blockade

A Ukrainian official said that Mariupol city “doesn’t exist anymore” after Russia announced the urban area of the city is clear of Ukraine troops.

“The situation in Mariupol is both dire militarily and heartbreaking. The city doesn’t exist anymore. The remainder of the Ukrainian army and large group of civilians are basically encircled by the Russian forces,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said during an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

The Kremlin announced on Saturday that there were no Ukrainian troops in the urban area of Mariupol, a key battlefield in the east of Ukraine.

“The entire urban territory of Mariupol is completely cleared of militants of the Nazist group ‘Azov,’ foreign mercenaries, and Ukrainian troops,” the Russian Defense Ministry wrote in a social media post.

About 2,500 Ukrainian troops are blocked from leaving Azovstal, one of Europe’s biggest metallurgical plants located in the east of Mariupol, by Russian troops who have surrounded the plant, the Russian Defense Ministry estimated.

Taliban Threatens to Attack Pakistan After Airstrikes in Afghanistan

The Taliban regime responded angrily to Pakistani airstrikes against targets in Afghanistan on Friday, denouncing the attacks as violations of Afghanistan’s territorial integrity and warning of “dire consequences” if such operations continue.

Pakistan’s uneasy relationship with the Taliban took a turn for the worse on Friday when Pakistani helicopters allegedly crossed the border to launch a pre-dawn assault on several locations in the eastern provinces of Khost and Kunar.

Afghan provincial officials claimed over 40 civilians were killed by the Pakistani attack, including several children.

The Pakistani military lectured the “government of Afghanistan” (the Taliban) to “secure the Pak-Afghan Border region and take stern actions against the individuals involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.”

According to Pakistani officials, the strikes were launched in retaliation for the death of seven Pakistani soldiers at the hands of “terrorists operating from Afghanistan.”

U.S. NEWS, POLITICS & GOVERNMENT

Supreme Court Won’t Hear COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate Challenge From NYC Teachers

The U.S. Supreme Court refused on April 18 to hear a New York City vaccine mandate challenge from teachers, meaning the mandate will be allowed to stand.

The nation’s high court rejected the case (pdf) without comment and provided no indication that any of the justices would take it.

The four teachers, who said the COVID-19-related rule violated their right to keep their profession, took their appeal to the Supreme Court after a lower court left the city’s mandate in place. Those teachers previously asked Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who oversees the state, to provide relief that would block the mandate from taking effect, which Sotomayor rejected.

The case is Maniscalco v. New York City Department of Education; 21-854.

Supreme Court Declines New York’s Challenge to Trump-Era Federal Cap on State and Local Tax Deductions

The Supreme Court decided on April 18 not to hear an appeal from New York and three other Democrat-dominated Northeastern states that were challenging the cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions imposed by President Donald Trump’s 2017 tax law.

The case is New York v. Yellen, court file 21-966. Janet Yellen was sued in her official capacity as secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. The respondents were New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maryland.

According to its usual practice, the high court didn’t provide reasons why it refused to take up the case.

The Biden administration urged the court not to hear the case.

TSA Announces It Will Not Enforce Biden Mask Mandate in Airports After Trump-Appointed Judge Strikes Down

President Joe Biden’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced Monday evening it will not enforce mask mandates at airports in light of a judge’s order on Monday that declared mandates on federal airplanes illegal.

“The agencies are reviewing the decision and assessing potential next steps,” a Biden administration official said. “In the meantime, today’s court decision means CDC’s public transportation masking order is not in effect at this time.”

Durham: 5 Witnesses Connected to Clinton Campaign Refusing to Cooperate

Special counsel John Durham revealed that five witnesses who have connections to the Clinton campaign are invoking their Fifth Amendment right and will not cooperate with his investigation, according to a recent court filing.

In a motion filed (pdf) on April 15, Durham revealed that one unnamed individual, “Researcher-2,” was given immunity in exchange for testimony, while “at least five other witnesses who conducted work relating to the Russian Bank-1 allegations invoked (or indicated their intent to invoke) their right against self-incrimination,” referring to the Constitution’s Fifth Amendment.

The names of those five individuals were not provided in the filing, although they pertain to former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who is accused by Durham of lying to the FBI in 2016 when he met with the bureau’s then-general counsel, James Baker, and told him that then-candidate Donald Trump had a secret back channel with a Russian bank. Sussmann has pleaded not guilty, and his lawyers have said Durman’s investigation is politically motivated.

Texas Governor Sends 6th Bus With Illegal Immigrants to Washington

A sixth bus of illegal immigrants who were picked up along the southern U.S. border was sent to Washington, D.C., from Texas late on April 17, according to Gov. Greg Abbott’s office.

Footage showed the bus arriving with the unlawful aliens at D.C.’s Union Square that evening, according to local outlet WUSA-9.

In a statement on April 17, Abbott, a Republican, confirmed that the bus was sent from Texas to Washington. He said it needed to be done this way due to the Biden administration’s mismanagement of illegal immigrants pouring in from Mexico.

“The sixth bus transporting a group of unlawful migrants to Washington, D.C. from Texas will be arriving at the nation’s capital today, April 17,” he said, confirming that the bus would drop off the illegal immigrants at Delaware Ave. and Columbus Circle. “This busing strategy is part of Governor Abbott’s response to President [Joe] Biden’s ongoing failure to secure the border.”

A fifth bus carrying illegal immigrants also arrived in Washington on that morning, Abbott’s office said in a separate statement.

Earlier this month, the Texas governor started sending buses of illegal immigrants to Washington, drawing praise or condemnation from different groups. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, also a Republican, has similarly proclaimed that illegal immigrants in his state will be sent to Delaware, President Joe Biden’s home state.

Abbott Signs Agreement With 4th Mexican Governor

Gov. Greg Abbott late Friday signed his fourth memorandum of understanding in three days with another Mexican governor as part of his commitment to secure Texas’ shared border with Mexico.

The signing came as a fourth bus transporting illegal immigrants released by the Biden administration into Texas reached Washington, arriving Saturday morning.

Abbott met Friday with Tamaulipas Gov. Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca in Weslaco, Texas. They signed a memorandum of understanding designed to prevent illegal immigration from Mexico to Texas and improve the flow of commercial traffic across the international bridge.

The agreements were reached within a week of Abbott ordering enhanced inspections of commercial vehicles as part of the state’s expanded border security efforts through Operation Lone Star. The inspections led to major backlogs, protests by Mexican commercial truck drivers, cartel operatives setting fire to vehicles, and commercial traffic being ground to a halt.

Despite criticism of Abbott’s plan, within a week, an agreement was reached with four Mexican governors in states where international bridges connect Texas and Mexico.

“Border governors can achieve results when we work together and put the safety of our constituents first,” Abbott said. “I am grateful for the partnership of Governor Cabeza de Vaca as we work to secure our border.”

Because Cabeza de Vaca presented such a detailed plan to secure the border, Abbott said the Texas Department of Public Safety would return to its previous strategy of randomly searching commercial vehicles coming through ports of entry.

“While President [Joe] Biden ignores the ongoing crisis at the border, the state of Texas will continue to work with heads of state in Mexico to further strengthen our comprehensive border strategy,” he said.

TX Sheriff: Border Patrol Told Me to Be Ready for Ports of Entry Being Overrun, ‘We’re Talking about’ Deputies in ‘Riot Gear’

During a portion of an interview with NBC News aired on Monday’s edition of “NBC Nightly News,” Hidalgo County, TX Sheriff Eddie Guerra (D) urged the Biden administration to reconsider its decision to rescind Title 42 and said that Border Patrol told him to have his officers ready in case ports of entry are overwhelmed and this means “deputies dressed in their riot gear with their shields and their helmets and batons to keep the crowd at bay.”

NBC News Correspondent Julia Ainsley introduced her interview with Guerra by saying, “Migrants who cross through the Rio Grande Valley come through this bus station in downtown McAllen. And officials here worry that if the numbers get too high, it could overwhelm the bus station, the shelters, leaving people with nowhere to go and sleeping on the street.”

Report: Business Executives Want Joe Manchin to Run Against Biden as Republican in 2024

Several prominent business executives hope Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will defect to the Republican party and mount a presidential campaign against President Joe Biden, according to a report on Monday.

Wall Street veteran Nelson Peltz hosted a $5,000 a plate fundraiser for Sen. Joe Manchin at the billionaire’s sprawling Florida estate last month, where several top executives said they privately hoped the conservative Democrat would switch parties and run against President Joe Biden in the 2024 elections.

Although Manchin told the group he plans to run for reelection to the Senate as a Democrat, a small group of donors at the event privately said they hope he changes parties and runs for president as a Republican against Biden in 2024 instead, the attendee said. This person noted that some attendees at the Peltz event, who once supported Trump, look at Manchin and his stances against some of his party’s policies as someone who could successfully run in a Republican primary and then possibly defeat Biden.

Minority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) previously called on Manchin to switch over to the Republican Party, telling Fox News last year, “He would be a lot more comfortable on our side.”

However, Manchin has since seemingly poured cold water on the idea.

“I would like to hope that there are still Democrats that feel like I do. … I’m socially — I’m fiscally responsible and socially compassionate,” he recently told West Virginia Radio, according to CNN. “Now, if there’s no Democrats like that, then they’ll have to push me wherever they want me.”

Manchin has become a thorn in the White House’s side due to his opposition to the president’s Build Back Better Act. In February, the West Virginia senator referred to it as “dead,” signaling his unwillingness to support the $2 trillion bill any time soon.

Report: Republicans to Boot Jerry Nadler, Maxine Waters as Ranking Members Under House Majority

House Republicans are considering term limits for committee chairmen and ranking members, a move that could curb many influential Democrats’ power under a potential Republican House majority.

House Republicans already have term limits within the GOP Conference, but adopting the potential rule could significantly curb many potential Democrat ranking members.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), the House Financial Services Committee chair since 2013, could no longer serve as the top-ranking Democrat on the committee.

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) would no longer be the top Democrat on the Homeland Security Committee; he has served as the top Democrat on the committee since 2005.

Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ), the top Democrat on the Energy and Commerce Committee since 2015, would have to step down.

Rep. Adam Smith (D-WA) would no longer serve as the leading Democrat on the Armed Services Committee. He has served as the top Democrat since 2011.

Rep. Nydia Velazquez (D-NY). the leading Democrat on the Small Business Committee since 1998, would have to step down.

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) serves as the leading Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee. He has served three terms and would have to step down under the House Republican proposal.

Rep. Richie Neal (D-MA), the chair of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, also served three terms as the chair and would have to step down if Republicans took back the House.

“This potential move by Republicans would have a seismic impact on the House and would be a huge breach of tradition. For decades, the two parties have set their own internal rules to decide who sits on committees and for how long,” Punchbowl News emphasized. “Republicans have had term limits in place since 1994, Democrats currently don’t have any such regulations.”

Democrats started the recent move to kick out Republicans such as Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Paul Gosar (R-AZ) over various issues. House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Breitbart News’s Matthew Boyle in an exclusive interview that he would kick Democrats such as Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Adam Schiff (D-CA) off their committees if they take back the majority

Top Biden Pollster Warns ‘Most Americans Are Pissed,’ Says Democrats Are Facing ‘Really Sour Environment’

President Joe Biden’s chief pollster John Anzalone warned Democrats about major electoral problems going into the 2022 midterms in an interview released Friday, although he believes that they can still avoid major losses.

Anzalone, who also worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, has previously warned of Biden’s low approval rating overall and among Hispanic voters in particular. He told Politico’s Ryan Lizza that voters are unhappy with the Democrats’ lack of action on key issues such as inflation and health care.

“Voters are very much in ‘What have you done for me lately?’ They always are. And they don’t feel Democrats can get their shit together and get things done,” Anzalone said.

“So if we’re able to do something — a skinny BBB or whatever — on health insurance costs, prescription drug costs, elderly care, childcare, that’s a big deal because it will give Democrats a competitive advantage on what they’re doing for working families. And it’ll cut through the inflation narrative, the Ukraine narrative, the Afghan narrative, the border narrative, etc.,” he continued.

20 House Republicans Demand ICE Data on Arrests, Deportations Withheld by Biden

House Republicans are demanding that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas produce key immigration enforcement data that they argue is being hidden from the public by the Biden administration, according to a letter exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The letter, sent Thursday, is led by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, and co-signed by 19 other Republican lawmakers who argue that delayed data for fiscal year 2021 from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement showing significant decreases in arrests provided only a “limited” and “inadequate” look into the agency’s enforcement and removal actions.

Jen Psaki Cries: Anti-Groomer Law ‘Makes Me Completely Crazy’

White House press secretary Jen Psaki broke down in tears over anti-grooming laws in an interview with podcaster Jessica Yellin on Tuesday.

“I’m going to get emotional about this issue because it’s horrible … This is an issue that makes me completely crazy,” Psaki said when she was asked about laws passing in Republican states restricting schools on transgender issues and sexual identity and giving parents more control of their child’s education.

The laws, like the one passed in Florida, prohibit discussions about sexual identity and gender in school classes with young children and prevent school officials from transitioning a child’s gender without the parent’s consent.

Psaki said the laws were “cruel” and did not represent the majority of Americans.

“It’s like kids who are bullied and all these leaders are taking steps to hurt them and hurt their lives and hurt their families,” she wept.

She scolded Republicans for using the laws as a “political wedge issue” in the ongoing culture war fights in the United States.

“The political games and harsh and cruel attempts at laws, or laws that we’re seeing in some states like Florida, … that is not a reflection of the country moving to oppose LGBTQ+ communities,” she said.

Psaki has lined up a future job with cable news outlet MSNBC as she is expected to leave the White House as soon as May. She has refused to confirm any details of her future job.

But Psaki has raised her profile in recent days, participating in more friendly podcast interviews.

Musk Says Twitter Board Will Be Paid Nothing If He Takes Over

Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk said that, if his Twitter takeover attempt is successful, the company’s Board of Directors will go from being paid millions per year to zero.

“Board salary will be $0 if my bid succeeds, so that’s ~$3 [million]/year saved right there,” Musk said in a tweet that was part of a thread that claimed the interests of Twitter’s board members are not in line with those of the company’s shareholders.

Twitter’s board members currently receive around $2.9 million in cash and stock awards, according to an SEC filing.

Musk was responding to a thread by investment advisor and Future Fund managing partner Gary Black, who argued that Twitter board members’ interests aren’t aligned with shareholders and that it’s “obvious” that if Musk does manage to take Twitter private, the company’s board members “don’t have jobs any more.”

“That could explain a lot,” Black wrote, apparently referring to the efforts of Twitter’s board to block Musk’s hostile takeover attempt.

Approx. 600,000 Teslas Recalled for Federal Standards Violation

Tesla vehicles continue to be associated with accidents, fires, high costs, high levels of harmful radiation emissions, investigations, mechanical issues, lawsuits, recalls, and other various criticisms

Recently the company issued another recall.

From Gov Tech:

Tesla Boombox Violation Leads to Recall of 600K Vehicles

In many Tesla vehicles, the boombox function can blast music outside of the car itself. The feature violates federal standards in that the noise can drown out pedestrian warning system sounds.

Tesla is recalling 594,717 vehicles because the boombox function that allows music to be played externally may mask the required pedestrian warning noises.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, recalled are some 2020-2022 Model Y, Model X and Model S vehicles and 2017-2022 Model 3 vehicles.

The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard calls for “minimum sound requirements for hybrid and electric vehicles.” The boombox on the Tesla allows sound to be played through an external speaker while the vehicles is in motion. That may obscure the pedestrian warning system sound.

According to the NHTSA, Tesla will update the software “that will disable the Boombox functionality when the vehicles in in drive, neutral and reverse modes” free of charge.

Letters to owners will be mailed on June 6.

Boombox also will be disabled in vehicles when “Summon” or “Smart Summon” is in use. Those are optional driver features that allow the user to move the vehicle in and out of parking spaces while standing outside of it.

Eat Your Vegetables! Or — How About a COVID mRNA Shot in Your Salad?

Half-a-million dollars. That’s how much the National Science Foundation has invested so far in researching how to get COVID mRNA shots into your salad and other veggies, supposedly so those who are hesitant to getting them the conventional way will get them anyway.

That is, you’ll get them if you just eat your vegetables, specifically, lettuce. “Ideally, a single plant would produce enough mRNA to vaccinate a single person,” said professor of botany and plant sciences, Juan Pablo Giraldo.

Lettuce isn’t the only shot delivery method scientists have in mind, though: Spinach and tomatoes are also on the table as possible foods they hope you will eat or grow in your garden and eat, boosting the “shot” with every bite. If you don’t care for lettuce, then know that rice, corn and potatoes are also under consideration for vaccinating the masses against COVID as well as Ebola and norovirus.

Human Microchip Implants and the Internet of Bodies

Implantable microchips are marketed as the ultimate in convenience, but the goal is to create the Internet of Bodies (IoB), described by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as an ecosystem of “an unprecedented number of sensors,” including emotional sensors, “attached to, implanted within, or ingested into human bodies to monitor, analyze and even modify human bodies and behavior”

Sweden is one of the earliest adopters of implantable microchips. The chip is implanted just beneath the skin on the hand, and operates using either near-field communication (NFC) — the same technology used in smartphones — or radio-frequency identification (RFID), which is used in contactless credit cards

Implanted payment chips are an extension of the internet of things; they’re a way of connecting and exchanging data, and the benefits must be weighed against the potential risks

Countries around the world are now working on a system for a central bank digital currency (CBDC), a fiat currency in digital form that is programmable so that you can only spend your money on certain things or in specific places, as desired by the issuer

In the end, everything will be connected to a single implantable device that will hold your digital identity, health data and programmable CBDCs. Your digital identity, in turn, will include everything that can be known about you through surveillance via implanted biosensors, your computer, smartphone, GPS, social media, online searches, purchases and spending habits. Algorithms will then decide what you can and cannot do based on who you are

How an Apple iCloud Exploit Lost a Crypto Trader Over $650K

One second, he gave who he thought was Apple a one-time Apple ID code. The next, his crypto was gone.

Domenic Iacovone recieved an unusual phone call from Apple on Friday night. He’d recieved several messages asking him to reset his Apple ID password, and so suspected the caller of being a scam. But the call came through on his iPhone as Apple Inc., with a number associated with Apple’s online store, so rang back. The person the other side of the phone said Iacovone’s account had been compromised, and that they needed the one-time code Apple sent to his iPhone to ensure he was the account’s owner. Iacovone gave it to them. Two seconds later, he recounted in a Twitter thread, his crypto wallet was wiped dry.

An estimated $650,000-worth of cryptocurrencies and NFTs were gone in an instant.

HEALTH

This Deficiency Can Lead to Psychosis and Alzheimer’s

B vitamin deficiencies are known to produce symptoms of psychiatric disorders, including depression and schizophrenia, and they play an important role in cognitive decline and the development of dementia

Vitamins B6, B9 (folate) and B12 may help prevent cognitive decline and protect against more serious dementia such as Alzheimer’s disease

A primary mechanism of action is the suppression of homocysteine, which tends to be elevated when you have brain degeneration. Having a homocysteine level above 14 micromoles per liter is associated with a doubled risk of Alzheimer’s

Research has shown taking high doses of folic acid, B6 and B12 lowers blood levels of homocysteine, decreasing brain shrinkage by as much as 90%

B vitamins also have a direct impact on the methylation cycle, and are required for the production and function of neurotransmitters, and for the maintenance of myelin, all of which are important for cognitive health

A Staggering Number of Athletes Collapsed This Past Year Analysis by Dr. Joseph MercolaFact Checked

More than 769 athletes have collapsed on the field during a game from March 2021 to March 2022

The shocking statistic was revealed by One America News Network (OAN), which also found the average age of the athletes who suffered cardiac arrest is just 23 years old

An updated report by Good Sciencing, a team of investigators, news editors, journalists and “truth seekers,” has detailed 890 cardiac arrests and other serious issues among athletes, including 579 deaths, following COVID-19 shots

With cases like these becoming impossible to ignore, even a mainstream media sports channel in Australia speculated that the health issues could be linked to COVID-19 shots, and one of the hosts acknowledged that multiple players have suffered from heart issues and Bell’s palsy following COVID-19 booster shots

Here’s A Different Doctor’s Take on the COVID-Snake Venom Hypothesis

As a sensational news item and film go viral across the internet claiming that snake venom is somehow linked to COVID-19 and treatments for it, including remdesivir, Dr. Pierre Kory is questioning the claims’ validity.

In excruciating detail, Kory — a critical care doctor who’s been treating COVID patients since the start of the pandemic, enumerates flaws in the snake venom theory and gives scientific reasons why it hasn’t been clearly thought out by those making the claims.

Unfortunately, one person making the claims, Dr. Brian Ardis, has turned the hypothesis into a viral frenzy. “The problem is that Dr. Ardis went on some highly watched podcasts this week espousing novel … theories that COVID is equivalent to snake venom and that remdesivir is actually snake venom plus a bunch of stuff about snake venom, er, I mean COVID, being released in water sources,” Kory says.

And, as Ardis’ appearances and the film make the rounds, people aren’t hearing the real truths about how COVID patients become sick and are treated by conventional means. And that, Kory says, is a serious problem: “In summary, unfortunately (or fortunately) this is all the time I can devote to the above ranting of a truth, partial truths and irrelevancies littered with blatant untruths, inaccuracies and ignorances.”

Is There Deadly Snake Venom in the SARS-CoV-2 Virus?

The story has gone viral: Scientists have found snake venom toxins in the plasma and fecal samples of COVID-19 patients.

It was a very small study — 20 patients with COVID and 10 without — but since September 2021, the idea that this venom-like substance is part and parcel of what’s driving COVID deaths has been spreading from mainstream news to science websites all over the world.

But is it true? Is snake venom somehow connected to COVID-19? In a review for Children’s Health Defense, James Lyons-Weiler, Ph.D., questions the validity of extrapolating conclusions from a study of a handful of people who live in areas where they may have been treating themselves with animal venoms.

Specifically, Weiler points out two relevant questions:

  1. Five control samples are too few. How many people without COVID-19 have the protein in their blood or feces?
  2. Were these patients treating themselves (or under the care of doctors) for COVID-19 (or another autoimmunity) with animal venoms?

So what’s going on here? Can the human body produce a snake-like, killer venom in COVID patients or were they treating themselves without telling their physicians?

“My favored hypothesis is that autoimmune patients in Italy using animal venoms to treat their autoimmunity — or to ward off COVID-19 — have confused the heck out of scientists who find those venoms or metabolites thereof in their feces and blood,” Weiler says. “But it’s also possible that we produce proteins in response to SARS-CoV-2 infection that match venom in other species. Unlikely, but I can’t rule it out.”

mRNA Vaccines Produce Persisting Spike Protein, Likely Causing Clots, Heart Inflammations, Cancers: Dr. Ryan Cole

According to Dr. Ryan Cole, messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines produce persisting spike protein that may cause severe damage to the recipient’s health, such as unusual clotting, heart inflammation, or cancer.

Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are the only mRNA vaccines approved or authorized for booster use in the United States. Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines use a viral vector, a modified version of a virus, to instruct cells to make antibodies.

Cole is a pathologist who has operated a lab for 18 years. He has seen, mostly through the microscope, about 500,000 patients in his career.

“[In] normal mRNA, you have cells making messages all day long … mRNA is generally broken down within minutes to maybe an hour or two. mRNA should not persist,” Cole told EpochTV’s “Facts Matter” program during the Global COVID Summit held in Houston, Texas, on April 8.

House GOPers Preparing Political Earthquake With Legislation to Withdraw NEA’s Federal Charter

A bill co-sponsored by 18 House Republicans would remove the National Education Association’s (NEA) 116-year-old federal charter because of the union’s hyper-partisanship and support for extreme ideological policies such as critical race theory (CRT).

“The NEA can no longer be considered a public service worthy of its federal charter as it has drifted substantially from its core mission and become a massive political operation dedicated to electing Democrats and imposing a radical progressive agenda on America’s schools,” reads the bill, HR 7510, which was introduced April 14.

The NEA was chartered in 1906 by Congress ‘‘to elevate the character and advance the interests of the profession of teaching; and to promote the cause of education in the United States,’’ according to HR7510.

To date, the NEA is the only federally chartered labor union and, with that charter, it is “receiving a seal of approval from and support of their actions by Congress,” according to the proposal.

But the teachers union has strayed far from its original purpose, as reflected in the fact that, according to the proposal, “disclosures made to the [Department of Labor] Office of Labor-Management Standards (OLMS), from Sept. 6, 2019, to August 2021, the NEA spent over $116.7 million on political activities and lobbying, and in the 2020 election cycle, 95.7 percent of candidate campaign contributions by the NEA went to Democrat candidates.”

Data compiled by opensecrets.org shows that between 2012 and 2020, Democratic congressional candidates received 93 percent of NEA campaign contributions in Senate and House races.

The bill text further notes that in the organization’s July 2021 conference, NEA officials adopted measures “to support critical race theory, calling it ‘reasonable and appropriate,’ and to spend $56,500 on researching and shaming
