Russia Welcomes Trump Offer of New Nuclear Pact, Awaits Details
The Moscow Times – Russia welcomed an offer by U.S. President Donald Trump to renegotiate a landmark nuclear missile pact after he quit the agreement, while cautioning that it’s received no specific proposals yet.
“We saw President Trump’s statement about the possibility of a new treaty, which should include other countries,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told reporters in Moscow on Thursday. “When our American colleagues actually get to the point where they give us something concrete, we will look at this with interest and I hope in a positive way.”
Trump said in his State of the Union address on Tuesday that the U.S. may be open to negotiating another agreement to replace the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, one that could include China as well as Russia. The U.S. gave Russia written notice on Monday of its decision to withdraw from the Cold War-era accord, which bans deployment of short and medium-range missiles.
US Military Finally Sets Target Date For “Full Withdrawal” From Syria
ZeroHedge 0 Here it is finally. The time has arrived for the fabled, confused and precarious US troop withdrawal from Syria despite the best efforts of neocons and interventionistas to permanently stall and alter course, per a new Wall Street Journal report that dropped late in the day Thursday: “the military plans to pull a significant portion of its forces out by mid-March, with a full withdrawal coming by the end of April.”
But you might be forgiven for remaining skeptical with a “believe it when I see it” approach, as President Trump first announced a “rapid withdrawal” on Dec. 19 which quickly became “no timeline” in the weeks that followed — though it depended on who in the administration or Pentagon was asked — with many determined to quash Trump’s prior campaign promises of “bring our boys home.” But now the WSJ speaks with a new confidence that this time it’s for real:
The U.S. military is preparing to pull all American forces out of Syria by the end of April, even though the Trump administration has yet to come up with a plan to protect its Kurdish partners from attack when they leave, current and former U.S. officials said.
U.S. lawmakers renew push for penalties against Saudi Arabia
Reuters –  Republican and Democratic U.S. lawmakers renewed their push on Thursday to penalize Saudi Arabia for the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi and address the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, introducing legislation to bar some arms sales and impose sanctions on those responsible for his death.
Democrats Bob Menendez, Jack Reed, Jeanne Shaheen and Chris Murphy and Republicans Todd Young, Lindsey Graham and Susan Collins introduced the bill one day before the Feb. 8 deadline for President Donald Trump’s administration to submit a report to Congress on whether Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman ordered Khashoggi’s killing.

The real reason 4 cops got shot in Houston last week
The Daily Bell – We are sick and tired of having dirtbags try to take our lives when all we are trying to do is protect this community and protect our families…
Well just know, we all got your number now.
We are going to be keeping track of all of ya’ll, and we’re going to make sure we hold you accountable. Every time you stir the pot on our police officers. We’ve had enough, folks.
We’re out there doing our jobs every day, putting our lives on the line for our families. Enough is enough. Now please, keep these officers in your prayers.
That was the Houston Police Officer’s Union President Joe Gimaldi.
He made the comments after 5 cops were injured while serving a warrant.
He thinks that rhetoric critical of police officers is responsible for, what he claims is an increase in police being targeted.
All the headlines would have you believe these cops were ambushed, attacked just for being cops while minding their own business.
But when you look deeper at the case, you realize these cops didn’t get shot because of anti-police rhetoric.
They got shot because they invaded an innocent couple’s home without announcing themselves.
That means that instead of knocking on the door and announcing themselves, police barge into a home with a battering ram.
These SWAT-style raids have increased exponentially over the years. And they are used for less and less serious accusations.
In this case, a couple in their late 50s, with no criminal history, was accused of selling heroin out of the home they lived in for 20 years.
The cops got a warrant to search the home after they claim someone sold a confidential informant heroin at the couple’s home.
Apparently, the word of one druggie informant is all the justification cops need.
Police busted down the door and shot the couple’s dog. The man responded by firing his handgun at the officers.
According to the police chief, narcotics officers “don’t show up in uniform,” when executing search warrants.
So did this guy even know it was police who just invaded his home and shot his dog?
We’ll never know, because dead men tell no tales. The couple was murdered by the police officers.
And there was no heroin found in the home.
Cops murdered this couple, for nothing.
The Most Dangerous Plot to Bring Down America from Within—Why is no one talking about this?
State of the Nation – As SOTN has previously reported, there are several objectives that Deep State Democrats are accomplishing with open borders and uncontrolled illegal immigration.  As follows:

  • Plentiful and cheap labor for Corporate America at a time of extreme international economic competition
  • Stream of needed military recruits for the U.S. Armed Forces who are guaranteed a fast track to citizenship
  • Illegal drug revenues are deposited in the large banks that are too big to fail
  • Illegal human trafficking generates huge profits and feeds the appetite of the power elite
  • Illegal arms trafficking produces illicit profits for both corporations and government
  • Democrats use illegal aliens, economic immigrants and war refugees to rebuild their shrinking base
  • New World Order globalist cabal cynically uses illegal immigration as the cudgel of multiculturalism just as they destroyed Europe
  • DACA and anchor babies are systematically used to dilute the U.S. population descended from European ancestry.
  • Operation Gladio use the open borders to sneak across terrorists cells who will carry out false flag terrorist attacks upon being triggered
  • Gladio is also stealthily building a secret army, nationwide, of foreign mercenaries, criminals, terrorists and other-soldier-of-fortune wannabes
  • … … … this is a truncated list and only represents some of the most influential drivers of illegal immigration and open borders

(Source: “THE OPEN BORDER”: A Highly Organized Conspiracy to Undermine the Territorial Integrity and National Sovereignty of the American Republic)
With the crucial understanding it’s easy to comprehend why the Democrats will never seal the borders or stop the illegal aliens from breaking the immigration laws.  They have every reason to encourage the border crashing. And so they are.
However, the single biggest goal of this Greatest Act of Collective Treason in U.S. History  is the last item above that refers to Gladio.  This same scheme has been used in Europe with great effect and yet very few even get it.
Washington Post Told America of Globalist Plan to be Implemented by 2025
Activist Post – If you don’t want to believe what alternative media has warned about for decades, the Washington Posttold us what was coming 11 years ago in a 2008 “future history” piece.
What was warned about by the Post?

  • Illegal immigrant gang wars, “permanent insurrection against state and federal immigration agents.”
  • Americans are forced into compact cities
  • Google dominates our lives with “Google Life Services”
  • Citizen journalists are monitored by the feds
  • Implantable chips allow freedom of travel in and out of safe zones
  • Small scale terror attacks plague the country

This was forecast in the Post’s “hypothetical” future history of Washington D.C. in the year 2025.
Here are some excerpts from the article:
“After years of nationwide economic decline, energy crises and sporadic small-scale terrorist hits…” the “Ververs” move away from the city centers to find safety.
“The drive from Washington to Konterra took long enough; now, the checkpoints at the gateways that controlled movement in and out of the inner District could stretch any workday by two or three hours, especially for people like Paula who still had no security clearance implants and little prospect of being able to afford any.”
“In this era of e-attacks and cyber meltdowns, energy rationing and angry protests, the path to social and economic mobility was clear: It was all about physical proximity. If you could somehow arrange to live near where you work, get your kids into nearby schools and subscribe to food and other suppliers close to home, you could make it.”
“…Paula was desperate to find a way to keep Paxten far from the gang battles that too often crossed the river from Virginia, where Salvadoran and Mexican gangs had set up what seemed like a permanent insurrection against state and federal immigration agents.”
“Victor was assigned to monitor and massage bloggers and citizen journalists who wrote about and took shots at the feds.”
In Konterra, Petra wouldn’t be a minority — no one is. Fed High, like all of Prince George’s County, had no dominant racial or ethnic group. And with the entire county school system now operated by Google PeopleShaping
The new subscription retailing was catching on in cavernous buildings… Here, people could spend a good chunk of their day, moving seamlessly from their work pod to take in a movie with a friend, choose the dinner items that would be delivered before they got home… and all for one monthly Google LifeServices subscription fee.
Technocrat Jeff Bezos, a key player in implementing this agenda, now owns the Washington Post.
Trump Says Curtain Likely to Fall on IS Caliphate Within Days
VOA News – U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he expected to formally declare victory over the Islamic State terror group’s self-declared caliphate in the next week.
“Nobody thought it was possible to do it this quickly,” Trump told members of the global coalition to defeat the Islamic State group, who were meeting in Washington.
“It should be formally announced, probably sometime next week, that we will have 100 percent of the caliphate,” he added. “We’ve had victory after victory.”
U.S. defense and intelligence officials believe that up to 1,500 IS fighters are still clinging to a 50-square-kilometer patch of land in Syria, but have been more cautious in their assessments.
In just the past week, they have described the fighting as tough, saying coalition-backed forces were pushing through booby-trapped streets and settlements. And they warned that even once the last of the IS-held territory was liberated, the terror group still would have as many as another 30,000 fighters and supporters dispersed throughout Syria and Iraq.
Yet despite more wary assessments from top military and intelligence officials, Trump said Wednesday that the terror organization had been decimated, losing tens of thousands of fighters and more than 60 high-ranking leaders.
“We’ve eliminated almost every one of them,” he told representatives from the 79-member coalition, reiterating that the time had come to pull out the 2,000 U.S. forces helping to fight IS in Syria.
Bipartisan bills introduced to thwart Trump’s trans military ban
NBC – The two bills introduced by Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate would let transgender troops continue serving and enlisting in the armed forces.
A bipartisan group of lawmakers from both chambers of Congress is seeking to thwart President Donald Trump’s transgender military ban.
Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; Jack Reed, D-R.I.; and Susan Collins, R-Maine, introduced legislation Thursday that would permit transgender service members to continue to serve and allow trans people to join the military.
“President Trump’s ban on transgender service members is discrimination, it undermines our military readiness, and it is an insult to the brave and patriotic transgender Americans who choose to serve in our military,” Gillibrand, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, said in a statement shared with NBC News.
Billionaire liberal threatens to unload on Dems if they don’t impeach Trump
Politico – Billionaire Tom Steyer is cranking up pressure on key House Democrats to impeach President Donald Trump where he thinks they’ll feel it most — back in their home districts.
Steyer’s first targets are three powerful committee chairmen, Richard Neal (D-Mass.), Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Elijah Cummings (D-Md.). But the liberal megadonor isn’t stopping there: He will soon turn his attention to rank-and-file members seated on the committees that would be involved in impeachment proceedings, including freshmen.
Supreme Court on 5-to-4 vote blocks restrictive Louisiana abortion law
Washington Post – Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. joined with the Supreme Court’s liberals Thursday night to block a Louisiana law that opponents say would close most of the state’s abortion clinics and leave it with only one doctor eligible to perform the procedure.
The justices may yet consider whether the 2014 law — requiring doctors at abortion clinics to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals — unduly burdens women’s access to abortion. The Louisiana law has never been enforced, and the Supreme Court in 2016 found a nearly identical Texas law to be unconstitutional.
“The Supreme Court has stepped in under the wire to protect the rights of Louisiana women,” said Nancy Northup, president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights, which represented the law’s challengers.
“The three clinics left in Louisiana can stay open while we ask the Supreme Court to hear our case. This should be an easy case — all that’s needed is a straightforward application of the court’s own precedent.”
The court’s four most conservative members would have allowed the law to take effect. Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh said there was a dispute about whether the doctors could obtain admitting privileges, and that a 45-day grace period would have given time to settle that question.
“The parties have offered, in essence, competing predictions” about whether several doctors can obtain privileges, Kavanaugh wrote.
Jeff Bezos Blames Trump for National Enquirer Allegedly Threatening to Publish ‘Intimate Photos’
Breitbart – Amazon founder and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos appeared to blame President Trump for the National Enquirerleaking private messages and allegedly threatening to publish his “intimate photos.”
In a blog post, Thursday, Bezos claimed National Enquirer publisher David Pecker had threatened to publish “intimate photos” of him, and insinuated President Trump was part of the situation.
“I was made an offer I couldn’t refuse. Or at least that’s what the top people at the National Enquirer thought. I’m glad they thought that, because it emboldened them to put it all in writing,” Bezos proclaimed. “Rather than capitulate to extortion and blackmail, I’ve decided to publish exactly what they sent me, despite the personal cost and embarrassment they threaten.”
Republican Mayor Allocates $70,000 to Hire City “Immigrant Affairs Manager”
Judicial Watch – The Republican mayor of the nation’s eighth largest city is dedicating $70,000 to hire an “immigrant affairs manager” that will help facilitate a successful integration of refugees and immigrants. The goal is to implement the orders of a community-written blueprint that aims to welcome immigrants as they transition into the city. Known as the “Strategic Plan on Immigrant and Refugee Integration,” the document was created with the input of open borders groups, residents and a “cross-sector steering committee” that direct city officials to skirt federal law.
It is unclear how much taxpayer money California’s second largest city, San Diego, will end up spending to accommodate immigrants. Mayor Kevin Faulconer announced the new $70,000 position this week at a press conference on the grounds of a local museum dedicated to celebrating America’s cultural diversity. “The preservation and presentation of the immigrant experience in the United States is our central commitment,” according to the museum’s website. At the press conference Faulconer, who previously served on the city council, said this: “Immigrants from around the globe help define our city. San Diego has long been a destination for people in search of opportunity, refugees looking to rebuild their lives, and new citizens who are proud to call America home. San Diego’s economy, workforce and future growth are connected to our ability to welcome new Americans into our community.”
Let’s take a look at the proposals in the integration blueprint that the city’s new immigrant affairs manager is supposed to help implement. They include creating economic opportunity for immigrants, tweaking education to accommodate them, granting them inclusive access to taxpayer-funded services, improving civic engagement, and safe communities. The city is supposed to facilitate the career advancement of immigrants through job placement, rights protection, and inclusive recruitment. This is to include promoting immigrant entrepreneurship, financial literacy among newcomers, and the reduction of barriers toward home ownership. Not sure how that’s going to happen since San Diego is one of the nation’s most expensive cities to live in with among the highest home prices.
The plan also calls on the city to enhance a multicultural curriculum in kindergarten through high school for “newcomer students” and remove barriers to existing education programs. That means developing a curriculum that includes ethnic studies, immigration history, cross-cultural competency, and anti-bias and tolerance education. The integration blueprint also demands free tuition at public colleges for immigrants. Inclusive access means the city must expand language access to ensure public services are “user-friendly and culturally-responsive.” To promote civic engagement among immigrants, San Diego officials must develop immigrant and refugee leaders and increase naturalizations and civic participation among new and aspiring Americans. To create a safe community for immigrants, law enforcement must be properly trained to serve “multilingual and multicultural communities,” the document states.
Under the plan, consular identifications, common among illegal immigrants from Mexico, will be accepted across city agencies. Other forms of “foreign citizenship documents” will also be accepted, according to the recommendations. Local police and all city officials will also shield illegal immigrants from federal authorities. This appears as advocating for policies that help protect and advance the rights of immigrants and refugees at the county, state and federal level. “Oppose policies that target or profile immigrants and endanger their status,” the strategic plan states, referring to deportation. The list of demands goes on and on and it appears elected officials in San Diego plan to meet them. “It’s important our communities here in San Diego know they don’t stand alone,” said City Council President Georgette Gomez. “Our policies and actions must reflect a city that is welcoming. I look forward to working with the Mayor and my colleagues to help implement the plan.”
Roger Stone Raid Footage Was Leaked by Someone Inside Intel Committee
Infowars – Surveillance footage showing the FBI raid on Roger Stone’s home was leaked by someone inside the Senate or House intelligence committee and was not released by Stone himself, according to the former Trump advisor.
The footage, which shows police with guns drawn outside Stone’s home, was provided exclusively to Sinclair Broadcasting Group last night – although claims that Stone himself released the footage are untrue.
Stone’s lawyers sent the footage to the Senate and House judiciary committees with the understanding that the footage would not be released as it could be seen to antagonize the judge in Stone’s hearing tomorrow, who may slap a gag order on the former Trump advisor.
However, Stone’s lawyers have no idea why the footage was given to Sinclair or by who, with the implication clearly being that someone on the House or Senate judiciary committee leaked it.
Stone himself was shocked when he learned that the footage had leaked and immediately called his lawyers.
In a related development, Stone also claims that the footage shows CNN reporters talking to SWAT team members well before the raid took place, which will intensify claims that the news network was tipped off in advance, something that CNN has vigorously denied.

Dump dollar for gold: Russia mulls eliminating gold tax to boost investment at greenback’s expense
RT – Russia’s Finance Ministry told the Izvestia newspaper it is considering complete abolition of value added tax (VAT) on gold purchases. This would give Russian savers an option of investing in gold, rather than foreign currencies.
The ministry said earlier the measure could also help returning capital worth tens of billions of rubles to the country.
Gold bar buyers in Russia are currently obliged to pay 20 percent VAT. However, when selling ingots, the tax is not returned. As a result, demand for gold investment in the country sits at just under 3 tons per year. Experts say that if the tax is dropped, demand could skyrocket to 50–100 tons.
Trump likely to sign executive order banning Chinese telecom equipment next week
Politico – President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order, banning Chinese telecom equipment from U.S. wireless networks before a major industry conference at the end of February, three sources told POLITICO.
The administration plans to release the directive, part of its broader effort to protect the U.S. from cyber threats, before MWC Barcelona, formerly known as Mobile World Congress, which takes place Feb. 25 to Feb. 28.
The current plan is for Trump to sign the long-delayed executive order next week, according to a source close to the administration, who requested anonymity to candidly discuss internal deliberations.
“There’s a big push to get it out before MWC,” said an industry source familiar with the matter, who also requested anonymity to speak candidly.
By preempting MWC, the world’s largest conference for the wireless industry, the White House hopes to send a signal that future contracts for cutting-edge technology must prioritize cybersecurity. That could further roil the Trump administration’s already tense relationship with Beijing, especially if the U.S. push erodes Chinese firms’ significant European market share.

Aborted Baby Parts Are Being Grafted On To Mice In Bizarre Scientific Experiments – And The U.S. Government Is Paying For It
The Economic Collapse Blog – Is it okay for the U.S. government to pay for scientific experiments involving bizarre mouse/human hybrid creatures that were created by grafting aborted baby parts on to mice?  Needless to say, the answer to that question is self-evident. Our tax dollars are being used to fund experiments that are so sickening that it is difficult to find words to describe how evil they are. What you are about to read is deeply unsettling, but we must get the word out about this, because most Americans have no idea that this is happening.  And we must do everything in our power to stop this, because there is no future for any nation that engages in this sort of extreme evil.
By this point, most people know that Planned Parenthood sells aborted baby parts to the scientific community.  But now we have learned that sickening experiments are being performed that involve fusing aborted baby parts on to mice.  The following comes from a bombshell report by the Sun
ABORTED babies are being used in macabre experiments in the US that involve grafting dead fetus parts onto mice which are then used to test drugs.
Documents seen by Sun Online outline procedures that involve cutting out glands and livers of unborn children and then fusing them onto lab rodents.
As a result of these experiments, the “humanized mice” actually develop “human-like immunity”.  This is how it works
A so-called “humanised mouse” is created by first destroying a rodents immune system by subjecting it to radiation.
Livers or the thymus glands are then fused with them.
In about 10 weeks the mice develop human-like immunity and are ready to be experimented on.
The federal government could outlaw such experiments, but that has not happened.
Instead, the federal government has actually been pouring millions of dollars into such research
Apple Refuses Govt Access to Terrorist’s Devices, But Handed Over Roger Stone’s Without Even a Whimper
GodfatherPolitics – If you think computer giant Apple was “brave” for refusing to unlock the devices of terrorists for the Department of Homeland Security, you’ll have to ask yourself why they unlocked Roger Stone’s devices for Robert Mueller’s fake “Russia” Investigation without even a whimper?
Remember back in 2015 when a pair of ISIS wannabes murdered a building full of office workers in San Bernardino, California?
Following the attack where 14 innocent people were murdered and an additional 22 injured, federal investigators wanted access to the devices owned by the two Muslim perpetrators Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik.
Elon Musk reveals SpaceX’s new Raptor engine has passed key test fire milestone
Daily Mail – ust days after unveiling SpaceX’s ‘radically redesigned’ Raptor engine, Elon Musk says the system is now powerful enough to support his ambitious Mars plans.
In an update following recent test fires of the Raptor engine, the SpaceX boss said it hit 172 metric tons of force – surpassing what’s needed for Starship and Super Heavy.
Ultimately, however, the huge Super Heavy rocket will require as many as 31 Raptors to carry it to space.
‘Raptor just achieved power level needed for Starship & Super Heavy,’ Musk tweeted on Thursday alongside a picture from the test fire.
‘Design requires at least 170 metric tons of force,’ musk added.
‘Engine reached 172 mT & 257 bar chamber pressure with warm propellant, which means 10% to 20% more with deep cryo.’
Musk lifted the veil on the latest version of the Raptor engine at the beginning of the week.
The engine will which will one day power the Super Heavy rocket and Starship on missions to the moon and beyond.
The SpaceX CEO shared footage on Twitter from the first test firing of the Raptor rocket engine this weekend and provided an update the capabilities that will help it ‘reach the moon as fast as possible.’

Regulators must first admit defeat on nutrition labels to improve
The Hill – The new Canadian Food Guide has made waves up north by deemphasizing serving sizes. As one bariatric medicine specialist said in Canada’s National Post, “Nobody weighed and measured their foods. Nobody really followed it, nobody knew what a serving size was. They were ridiculous and idiotic.”
Instead, the new guide focuses on proportions (as opposed to serving sizes) with an emphasis on eating more plant-based foods. If only we could do something similar with the ineffective U.S. food label, which is long overdue for a major rethink.
We often fail to admit when something is not working or when we or our organizations are wrong. When others admit fault, we sometimes fail to appreciate their actions. A quick scan of the news offers plenty of examples.
So it’s nice to see that Health Canada’s guide is now geared more toward healthy eating and lifestyles, rather than focusing too much on specific foods or largely useless serving sizes. The Canadian guide is similar to the U.S. government’s “MyPlate” program, which replaced the old food pyramid diagrams.
Some of the new Canadian recommendations seem surprisingly easy to use. For example, they suggest that people cook at home more often to save money and take more control over what they eat.
They also suggest eating with others more often to “enjoy quality time together,” “share food traditions” and “explore new healthy foods that you might not normally try.”
Not everyone is thrilled with the guidelines, even beyond the meat and dairy industries whose products are partially marginalized.
25 Worst Foods for Your Heart, According to Cardiologists and Dietitians
Prevention – Take heart: What’s on your plate can help maintain your cardiac capacity. “Heart-healthy foods contain nutrients that have been shown to benefit the cardiovascular system or reduce the risk of developing heart disease by lowering ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol and blood triglycerides, reducing blood pressure, controlling weight and/or improving insulin sensitivity,” says Rania Batayneh, MPH, the owner of Essential Nutrition For You and the author of The One One One Diet.
Omega-3s, potassium, calcium, magnesium, fiber, phytonutrients and antioxidants earn top marks in these categories, making the Mediterranean diet and the DASH diet top choices for those seeking to maintain or improve heart health.
Science backs up this premise: A menu centered around produce, whole grains, nuts and beans, plus a little dairy and heart-healthy fats can help reduce your risk for cardiovascular disease by about a third, according to a 2016 study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. So which foods get the green light from dietitians and which ones get the red light? Here are the 25 worst foods for your heart.
Poor Circulation: 6 Signs Older Adults Should Know
By Barbara Brody – You probably don’t spend a lot of time thinking about your circulatory system. And when everything is working properly, you don’t need to: Blood flows freely and efficiently throughout your body, carrying oxygen as well as infection-fighting white blood cells, nutrients, and hormones. But when your circulation is impeded, it’s a different story.
Circulation issues—in this case, we’re talking specifically about when blood flow is restricted—can cause a host of problems. The most common: peripheral artery disease, coronary artery disease, and carotid artery disease. As these diseases progress, they cause pain, reduce mobility, and put you at greater risk of a heart attack or stroke.
The underlying factor for all three is the same: atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. Age plays a role, since as you get older, blood vessels tend to become less flexible. But a number of lifestyle habits—notably smoking, being inactive, and eating an unhealthy diet—also matter, as they contribute to the plaque that builds up in the arteries. Plaque narrows the arteries, making it harder for blood to pass through.
“The same type of plaque that can build up in the vessels to your heart can impair circulation to the brain and cause a stroke, or block blood in your legs and cause peripheral artery disease,” says Katherine A. Gallagher, M.D., a vascular surgeon at the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center. “It’s all the same disease process.”
In other words, if you’re at risk for one of these conditions, you’re at risk for all three. The upshot is that there are things you can do to reduce your risk or treat these issues—provided you know that you have them.
You should also be on the lookout for these six warning signs of poor circulation.

  1. Your Legs Ache or Cramp When You Walk
  2. Your Feet Hurt When You Lie Down
  3. You Have Pressing or Squeezing Chest Pain
  4. You’re Unusually Short of Breath or Exhausted
  5. You Briefly Lose Vision, Sensation in One Side of Your Face or Body, or Your Ability to Speak Normally
