Zelensky: America Will ‘Lose NATO’ and Global Leadership Role if it Stops Funding War in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that if America pulls military support from his country, the United States will “lose NATO” and its global leadership position.

Speaking at a press conference in Kyiv (Kiev) on the one-year anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of his country, Zelensky responded to a question on the growing unpopularity of continued support for the war in Ukraine in the United States by criticising Americans who do not want to continue to send arms and billions of their taxpayer dollars to his administration.

Boom: Biden Appoints Member Of The Trilateral Commission To Head The World Bank

President Biden is stacking his Administration with current or former members of the Trilateral Commission. Note the key positions that each of these occupy.

  • Anthony Blinken – Secretary of State
  • Susan Rice – Domestic Policy Advisor
  • Mark Brzezinski – Ambassador to Poland
  • R. Nicholas Burns, U.S. Ambassador to China
  • Ken Juster, U.S. Ambassador to India
  • Wendy Sherman, U.S. Deputy Secretary of State
  • Jake Sullivan, U.S. National Security Advisor
  • Lael Brainard, Member, U.S. Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors
  • Eric Schmidt – Office of Science and Technology Policy
  • John Podesta – Green New Deal spending tsar
  • Ajay Banga – President of the World Bank

When the Trilateral Commission was formed in 1973 by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski, they successfully engineered the takeover of the Carter Administration in order to control the economic engine of the world: The United States.

Antony Sutton and I thoroughly documented this in 1978-1981 with our books, Trilaterals Over Washington, Volumes I and II.

In subsequent years, six out of nine appointed World Bank Presidents were members of the Trilateral Commission. Nine out of twelve US Trade Representatives were also members.

Now, Biden used his presidential appointment power to pick Ajay Banga as the latest president of the World Bank. According to the White House press release:

Today, President Biden announced that the United States is nominating Ajay Banga, a business leader with extensive experience leading successful organizations in developing countries and forging public-private partnerships to address financial inclusion and climate change, to be President of the World Bank.

Statement from President Biden: “Ajay is uniquely equipped to lead the World Bank at this critical moment in history. He has spent more than three decades building and managing successful, global companies that create jobs and bring investment to developing economies, and guiding organizations through periods of fundamental change. He has a proven track record managing people and systems, and partnering with global leaders around the world to deliver results.

He also has critical experience mobilizing public-private resources to tackle the most urgent challenges of our time, including climate change. Raised in India, Ajay has a unique perspective on the opportunities and challenges facing developing countries and how the World Bank can deliver on its ambitious agenda to reduce poverty and expand prosperity.”

He is Honorary Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, serving as Chairman from 2020-2022. He is also Chairman of Exor and Independent Director at Temasek. He became an advisor to General Atlantic’s climate-focused fund, BeyondNetZero, at its inception in 2021. He previously served on the Boards of the American Red Cross, Kraft Foods and Dow Inc. Ajay has worked closely with Vice President Harris as the Co-Chair of the Partnership for Central America. He is a member of the Trilateral Commission, a founding trustee of the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum, a former member of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, and Chairman Emeritus of the American India Foundation.

Ajay was awarded the Foreign Policy Association Medal in 2012, the Padma Shri Award by the President of India in 2016, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and the Business Council for International Understanding’s Global Leadership Award in 2019, and the Distinguished Friends of Singapore Public Service Star in 2021.

Banga is the perfect pick to augur in a new global financial system. He is a cybersecurity expert and former head of Mastercard.

Madeleine McCann’s Parents Agree to DNA Test Polish Woman Who Claims to Be Their Missing Daughter

A Polish woman who believes she may be missing British girl Madeleine McCann claims the family has agreed to do a DNA test.

Kate and Gerry McCann have approached Julia Faustyna to take a DNA test to see if her genes match that of their missing daughter, who was three years old when she was abducted from a Portugal apartment bedroom in 2007, a source told The Daily Beast this week.

Faustyna, who has also been referred to as Julia Wandelt and Julia Wendell, has recently become an internet sensation after claiming that she has evidence that she “could be Madeleine.”

Obama’s Former WH Physician: Biden’s Cognitive Decline ‘Brings Us Closer to an All-Out War’ with Russia, China

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), the former White House physician during the Obama and Trump administrations, warned on Saturday that President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline is bringing the United States closer to an “all-out war” with Russia and China.

Jackson’s statement comes after Biden has continually grappled with memory failure in recent days, raising concerns that his cognitive decline will draw the U.S. into a war with China and Russia, two powers reportedly united against the United States in a proxy war for control of Ukraine’s eastern border.

Jihadi Migrant Who Launched Deadly Stabbings in Spanish Churches Sees ‘Devils’

Yasin Kanjaa, a radical Muslim accused of murdering one and injuring several others after attacks in two churches in Spain, has claimed he sees “devils” as authorities look into the state of his mental health.

The medical staff of the Spanish National Court have carried out an examination into the mental state of Kanjaa. He allegedly told them that he sees “devils” after the investigating judge in the case, Joaquín Gadea, ordered the examination to determine whether or not Kanjaa was fit for trial.

A Horrible Idea’: Critics on Both Left and Right Slam Special Grand Jury Foreperson’s Media Tour

Critics on both the left and the right are slamming a special grand jury foreperson’s media tour in which she discussed an investigation into former-President Donald Trump’s alleged criminal interference in the 2020 election in Fulton County, Georgia.

“This was a horrible idea and I guarantee you prosecutors are wincing,” Elie Honig, CNN’s senior legal analyst and former New York assistant United States Attorney, told Anderson Cooper.

“Mark my words,” he said, “Donald Trump’s legal team is going to make a motion if there’s an indictment to dismiss that indictment based on grand jury impropriety.”

Emily Kohrs, the 30-year-old who has served for eight months as a foreperson of the special grand jury, appeared on CNN and MSNBC on Feb. 22 giving interviews that Honig called “a prosecutor’s nightmare.”

Kohrs told CNN amid an array of varied amused facial expressions and laughter that there “are no major plot twists” regarding the list of indictments against Trump and his allies.

On MSNBC, she said, “I wanted to subpoena the former president because I got to swear everybody in, and so I thought it would be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump of me looking at him and being like, ‘Do you solemnly swear,’ and me getting to swear him in. I kind of just thought that would be an awesome moment.”

East Palestine Residents Could See Long-Term Health Concerns From Toxic Chemicals: Researchers

Weeks after the train derailment carrying hazardous chemicals in Ohio, an analysis shows that residents could be subject to a range of long-term health complications after finding nine air pollutants at higher-than-normal levels.

Researchers at Texas A&M and Carnegie Mellon wrote on Friday that nine out of about 50 chemicals that the Environmental Protection Agency said were present on the train that derailed in East Palestine on Feb. 3 are higher concentrations than “normal.” Texas A&M’s account wrote that “if these levels continue, they may be of health concern” and then flagged acrolein—used as a chemical warfare weapon during World War I—as one of particular concern.

Other chemicals that were seen at higher-than-normal levels include vinyl chloride, benzene, and naphthalene, according to their analysis. Air samples were most recently taken in East Palestine on Feb. 23.

The two universities then asked two questions: “Are there other chemicals in the air that EPA isn’t monitoring?” and “what about locations [where] EPA doesn’t have a monitor?” Researchers said they used a mobile air quality laboratory to evaluate concentrations of about 80 chemicals in East Palestine’s air and will produce the results at a later date.

Both federal EPA and state officials previously said that testing of East Palestine’s municipal wells showed no water quality issues, while some have said that the village’s water is fine to drink. In an update on the EPA website on Feb. 20, the environmental agency wrote that it is still operating “real-time community air monitoring network 24 hours a day” and that the “air quality in the community remains normal.”

5 killed in Arkansas plane crash that happened shortly after takeoff

An Arkansas environmental consulting firm says it is “incredibly saddened” after five of its employees died in a plane crash that happened shortly after takeoff from Little Rock.

The twin-engine Beech BE20 was heading to Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday when it went down a few miles south of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, authorities say.

“We are incredibly saddened to report the loss of our Little Rock colleagues,” Paul Nony, senior vice president of CTEH, said in a statement. “We ask everyone to keep the families of those lost and the entire CTEH team in their thoughts and prayers.”

Five Killed When Medical Plane Crashes in Nevada: ‘We Are Heartbroken’

Five people died on Friday when a medical plane crashed near Stagecoach, Nevada, NBC News reported Saturday.

Mike Lindell Says He Will Sue Speaker McCarthy for Sharing Jan. 6 Footage With Tucker Carlson

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell said he plans on suing House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) after providing Fox News’ Tucker Carlson with tens of thousands of hours of footage of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol breach.

During a Thursday interview with Steve Bannon on his “War Room” podcast, Lindell said he is planning to file a lawsuit against the House speaker because he violated the First Amendment’s freedom of the press provision.

“Yeah it’s as everybody knows Kevin McCarthy and the gang released [41,000] hours from January 6th to exclusively Fox News. Well, we’re not going to sit back and let that happen. This is our First Amendment provision,” he said.

Bannon interjected, asking Lindell why he’s planning to file a suit against McCarthy when he has other legal challenges piling up.

“We’re injured by not having access and then the other thing is the Equal Protection clause,” Lindell added in his interview with Bannon, a former White House chief strategist. He added, “Why does just Fox get this? So they can cover it up even more? It’s disgusting … We were going to go after Fox to get it; and they lawyers … said, ‘No, we’re gonna ago right after the speaker, right after Congress.”

Report – Ohio Man Suffers Voice Change After Train Derailment, Explosion: ‘Sounds Like Mickey Mouse’

An East Palestine, Ohio, man’s voice apparently became high-pitched since the train derailment and toxic explosion on February 3.

His doctors told him he has chemicals in his body; however, no one in the area can perform the toxicological tests to determine what those chemicals are, 40-year-old Wade Lovett, an auto detailer, told the New York Post this week.

Norfolk Southern Freight Train Derailed in North Carolina

A freight train operated by Norfolk Southern derailed in Lexington, North Carolina, early on Saturday.

“One of our trains traveling through Lexington derailed this morning. Of the train’s 132 cars, 1 [set of wheels] has derailed,” a Norfolk Southern spokesperson said in a statement to Fox Digital.

Timeline of Ohio Train Derailment, Toxic Chemical Spill

When Feb. 3 dawned, East Palestine was like most small communities in America—the kind of place where everyone seems to know everyone, high school football Friday nights are like holidays, and families have lived for generations.

That comfort and nostalgia abruptly changed by around 9 p.m. when a Norfolk Southern Railway freight train carrying 151 cars derailed in this village of 4,761 in eastern Ohio near the Pennsylvania border.

Since then, East Palestine and surrounding communities have been coping with the aftermath, including the release of thousands of gallons of toxic chemicals, as local, state, and federal officials and agencies have been trying to determine both short-term and long-term courses of action.

Hunter Biden Business Partner Cooperating With House GOP Investigators, Comer Says

One of Hunter Biden’s business partners is cooperating with congressional investigators, according to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.)

In an interview with Just The News, Comer said attorneys for Eric Schwerin—a business associate of President Joe Biden’s son—have been in communication with the congressional committee about turning over information about his business dealings. This comes as Comer and the Republican-led committee have sought records pertaining to the Biden family’s foreign business dealings and tax affairs.

“He is cooperating with us. His attorneys and my counsel are communicating on a regular basis,” Comer said. “Now, I feel confident that he’s going to work with us, and provide us with the information that we have requested.”

Comer predicted Schwerin “is going to be a very valuable witness for us in this investigation.”

Department of Defense Panel: Prohibit Gun Sales to Troops Under Age 25

A panel commissioned by the Department of Defense (DOD), the Suicide Prevention and Response Independent Review Committee (SPRIRC), released a report Friday in which it suggested prohibiting gun sales to troops under the age of 25.

The panel recommended barring ammunition sales t0 those under the age of 25 as well.

Iowa, Ohio, Weigh In-State Ban on Federal Gun Control Enforcement

Iowa, Ohio, Georgia, and other red states are weighing in-state bans on the enforcement of federal gun controls deemed infringements on gun rights.

Montana has such a ban and on February 10, Breitbart News reported that Gov. Greg Gianforte (R) told the ATF their AR pistol stabilizer brace rule cannot be enforced in Montana.

Vivek Ramaswamy Answers Critics, Outlines 2024 Vision in IowaThe excitement among Iowa’s Republican state legislators was palpable; Vivek Ramaswamy, ESG skeptic and 2024 presidential hopeful, had come to the Iowa State Capitol to speak to them on Feb. 23.

Like other probable 2024 contenders who have visited the state, the Indian-American entrepreneur and author of “Woke, Inc.” praised the state’s new universal school choice bill.

“There has never been a time in I think the last century—and I don’t think there will be a time in our lifetime again—when state legislatures can actually play the leading role in a national revival,” he told a roomful of lawmakers, standing at the head of a long table.

Even as Ramaswamy meets and greets sympathetic audiences, he finds himself the focus of vocal criticism, including from those in former President Donald Trump’s MAGA (Make America Great Again) camp.

Meanwhile, many Americans still wonder what exactly Ramaswamy might hope to do as president.

Watchdogs Press JPMorgan Chase Bank for Answers on Cancellation of Religious Freedom Group’s Account

JPMorgan Chase & Co. wants to exclude shareholder resolutions from two conservative watchdog groups that relate to the bank’s closing of the account of a religious-freedom nonprofit founded by former Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback.

Brownback, a former U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom during the Trump administration, is also a Republican former member of the House and Senate from Kansas. He founded the National Committee for Religious Freedom.

In May 2022, three weeks after opening the account, JPMorgan Chase closed it. Brownback, along with other conservative organizations, raised the question of whether the move was done for religious or political reasons. JPMorgan has said it had nothing to do with political or religious views and said the decision was made because, under federal laws, it needed more information about donors and recipients than the nonprofit provided.

Tennessee Legislature Passes Bill to Ban Drag Shows in Front of Kids

Tennessee lawmakers passed a bill that would prevent drag shows from taking place on public property or in front of children.

The bill classifies “male and female impersonators” as adult cabaret performers, while also banning “adult-oriented performances that are harmful to minors.” The legislation, SB3, now makes its way to Republican Gov. Bill Lee’s office.

Report – Campaign to Recall New Orleans’ Democrat Mayor Has Enough Signatures: ‘You’re About to Be Fired’

A group working to recall New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell (D) has reportedly collected the signatures needed to put her second term at risk, the news coming as the city endures rampant crime.

“Right now our mayor doesn’t love New Orleans so the citizens and the residents stood up. We’re taking our city back, and we’re gonna save New Orleans,” vice chair of the No LaToya recall campaign, Eileen Carter, told Fox News this week.

Judge Rejected Congressman’s Bid to Shield Emails From DOJ

A federal judge rejected a U.S. congressman’s bid to shield thousands of records from U.S. authorities investigating potential crimes linked to the 2020 election, according to filings unsealed on Feb. 24.

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Beryl Howell said that the U.S. Department of Justice can access 2,055 records from the personal cellphone of Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) in a Dec. 28, 2022 order that was made public on Friday.

Another three records could be accessed partially while Perry properly asserted privilege over 161 other records, Howell, an Obama appointee, ruled.

Republican House Judiciary Committee Members Gear up for ‘Fight’ to Secure Southern Border

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said he wasn’t surprised no Democrats attended the committee’s second hearing on the southern border crisis in Yuma on Feb. 23.

“When you’ve got things this screwed up, maybe it’s best to stay away,” Jordan told The Epoch Times.

“It’s their job to serve the American people. Be honest with We The People and the folks you’re supposed to be serving. They don’t seem to do it. It’s unfortunate.”

The committee billed the two-hour hearing at Yuma City Hall “The Biden Border Crisis: Part II.”

EXCLUSIVE–Rep. Andrew Clyde: Do Not Register AR Pistols with ATF

Breitbart News sat down for an exclusive interview with Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) Friday, during which he made clear his hope that Americans will remove stabilizer braces from their AR pistols, making them ATF compliant, rather than register them with the ATF.

Clyde stressed his concern that the ATF is actively trying to form a database of gun owners and his belief that stabilizer brace registration is simply one more way the agency can get gun owners’ names on a list.

Missouri AG Files to Remove Leftist Attorney: ‘She’s Willfully Neglected Her Duties’

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey (R) has filed to remove St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner after she “willfully neglected her duties” in office.

Bailey had previously given Gardner an ultimatum: resign or face removal.

One minute after the St. Louis Democrat failed to meet the Thursday deadline to resign, Bailey filed a petition in quo warranto, a rare procedure that challenges the right of an elected official to hold office.

“This is about the rule of law and justice, and thankfully, it’s a rare procedure,” Bailey told Breitbart News. “Thankfully, the 115 jurisdictions in the state of Missouri that have elected prosecutors, those prosecutors are doing their job to fulfill the rule of law and find justice for victims.”

“Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner has willfully neglected her duties,” he asserted.

The Show Me State Attorney General explained three areas where Gardner has failed to fulfill her duty as a prosecutor: Failure to prosecute cases, failure to inform victims, and failure to review new cases — which he places in the thousands.

“She files charges and the cases languish on the docket, and are eventually dismissed by the court for failure to prosecute,” Bailey said, pointing to a recent example of a 17-year-old volleyball player who was injured by man who repeatedly violated bond conditions.

Eating More Purple Fruits and Veggies Might Reduce Risk for Diabetes, According to New Research

Regardless of whether it’s “your color” fashion-wise or in style on fashion runways and red carpets at the moment, one thing isn’t going out of style any time soon: purple produce. Based on research on purple potatoes, purple tomatoes, purple asparagus, purple sweet potatoes and other fruits and vegetables that score their vibrant, royal hue from the potent disease-fighting antioxidant anthocyanin, we have a lot of evidence that they’re supremely good for us. The health benefits of purple (or blue or red) fruits and vegetables that are pigmented by anthocyanins include lower levels of chronic inflammation, reduced risk for heart disease and cancer and more.

And according to a study published January 18, 2023, in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, we have even more evidence to be pro purple: Anthocyanins in plants may have properties that can help reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.

Fake Meat Has a Real Problem

The fake meat industry is being touted as an environmentally friendly and sustainable way to feed the world. However, it’s an underhanded attempt to recreate the kind of global control that Monsanto and others achieved through patented GMO seed development

Lab-created meats may turn out to be one of the most health-harming ultraprocessed foods ever created. While the true impact on public health won’t be seen for years or decades, the preliminary evidence warrants concern

Cultured or cell-based meat is made from animal cells grown in a solution of fetal bovine serum or other growth medium. Normal cells cannot replicate enough times to create a slab of meat, though, which is why many companies use immortalized cells, i.e., precancerous and/or cancerous animal cells

While researchers claim there’s no risk to eating these cells, as they’re not human cells, there are no long-term studies to confirm this assumption

The fact that our regulatory agencies are captured by industry and no longer seem to be taking public health into consideration only adds to the uncertainty, yet getting government approval is the industry’s primary strategy to win public trust

Try These Healthy Foods to Boost Your Immunity and Avoid Repeated COVID-19 Infection

With the continuous mutation of COVID-19 variants, protection generated by a previous bout may not be able to counter new virus strains. How can you avoid the risk of repeated infection? In an interview with “Health 1+1,”  Dr. Dawei Guo, director of Fu Yuan Chinese Medicine Clinic in Taiwan, shared how to supplement daily nutrition to improve innate immunity.

Nutrients Capable of Boosting Immunity

Guo said that to fight the virus, the most important thing is to increase one’s innate immunity. A healthy diet is the best way to enhance immunity. He recommends consuming food and supplements containing the following nutrients.

  1. Vitamin A
  1. Vitamin C

—> Power Mall Product of Recommendation: OPTIVIDA VITAMIN C

  1. Vitamin D

—> Power Mall Product of Recommendation: OPTIVIDA VITAMIN D

  1. Cruciferous vegetables
  2. Ling Zhi (Ganoderma lucidum, also called reishi)
  3. Korean ginseng

Enhance Gastrointestinal Health to Strengthen Immunity

The gut provides immunity in the human body. About 70 percent of immune cells are produced in the intestines, so maintaining a healthy gut is essential for good health. Can taking probiotics help? Guo said that the intestinal tract must first be conditioned to a healthy state before the probiotics can be effective. He recommends the following four categories of foods that can improve your gut.

  1. Whole grains, roots, and tubers
  2. Beans
  3. Cruciferous vegetables
  4. Fruits

Prevent Inflammation

Chronic inflammation may cause many diseases. Inflammation can make it difficult for the body to maintain sufficient resistance to infection, such as COVID-19. Guo pointed out that we should eat more foods having anti-inflammatory substances, including the following:

  • fish rich in Omega-3, such as salmon, herring, mackerel, and sardines
  • blackberries
  • pineapples
  • strawberries
  • raspberries
  • walnuts
  • sesame
  • onions
  • spinach
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • tea rich in catechins

Chinese Herbal Tea for Daily Health Care

Suppose you are infected with COVID-19 and do not want to take Western medicine. In that case, Guo provides several traditional Chinese medicines and some health teas daily to prevent or reduce symptoms.

You can try Da Qing Long (Major Green Dragon) Decoction if you have cold symptoms, chills, or fever.

If you have cold symptoms with no fever, try Gui Zhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi) Decoction.

If symptoms include colds and sore throats, try Yin Qiao San (Lonicera and Forsythia powder) or Sang Ju Yin (mulberry leaf and chrysanthemum beverage).

Points to Note When Traveling and Dining Out

Guo reminds everyone to bring alcohol-based hand sanitizer when traveling or dining out. You can bring wet disinfectant tissues to wipe the dinner plates, tables, chair armrests, and the like. To reduce the risk of exposure to the virus for yourself and your family, be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth.

Some herbs mentioned above may sound strange, but many are available in health food stores and Asian groceries.

US Life Expectancy Falls in Historic Decline

Allopathic medicine has been a leading cause of death in the U.S. for over two decades. In 1998, researchers concluded that properly prescribed and correctly taken pharmaceutical drugs were the fourth leading cause of death in the U.S.

Two years later, in 2000, Dr. Barbara Starfield published her groundbreaking paper, “Is US Health Really the Best in the World?”1 in which she provided data showing that medical errors by doctors were the third leading cause of death. Little has changed since then.

In 2016, Johns Hopkins patient safety experts calculated that more than 250,000 patients died each year from medical errors, again pegging it as the third leading cause of death.2

In July 2022, the National Institutes of Health concluded the annual death toll from medical errors could be as high as 440,000 — and possibly even more because of lack of reporting — making it, still, the third leading cause of death.3

In future years, I believe the medical intervention sold as “COVID vaccines” will prove to be the No. 1 killer of Americans, and we’re already seeing that trend. Something extraordinarily odd happened in 2020 and 2021, something that shaved nearly three years off the life expectancy in the U.S.4

Limit Your EMF Exposure

One of the most foundational lifestyle components that can make or break your mitochondrial health is electromagnetic eld (EMF) exposure. To allow your body to heal, you’ll want to minimize EMF exposure as much as possible. The World Health Organization classified cell phone radiation as a 2B carcinogen in May 2011.

However, as I detail in my 2020 book, “EMF*D,” it’s actually a Class 2A carcinogen. To minimize your EMF exposure, which includes electric elds, magnetic elds and radio frequencies:

Keep your cell phone in airplane mode whenever you’re not actively using it Do not sleep with it near your bed

At night, be sure to turn off your Wi-Fi

Turn the breakers off to your bedroom, as the electrical wiring in most homes also emit dirty electricity

Repairs DNA and Rejuvenates Your Cells While You Relax

The typical infrared sauna sold in the U.S. is far-infrared. These low-energy wavelengths provide virtually no photobiomodulation health benefits; they only heat your body superficially

The near-infrared wavelengths can penetrate up to 4 inches into your body’s tissues. The incandescent light bulb is the most efficient way to heat tissue because it is mostly near-infrared

Only a few percent of solar radiation are far-infrared. About 40% of the sunlight spectrum is near-infrared

Sunlight and incandescent light interacts with light receptor proteins called chromophores in your body. When light hits the chromophores, they activate a variety of biological processes. Near-infrared also activates the mitochondrial chelating systems in the cells

Near-infrared light therapy stimulates your mitochondria to release nitric oxide and boost ATP production which, together, promote healing effects such as DNA repair and cellular regeneration

CDC Issues Warning Over Rise of Drug-Resistant Bacteria

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a health alert to warn the public about a potentially antibiotic-resistant bacteria known as Shigella. In the advisory issued (pdf) Feb. 24, the CDC said it has been monitoring an increase in people infected with Shigella strains that are resistant to drugs. Known as shigellosis, Shigella infections generally cause diarrhea that can be bloody, fever, and abdominal cramps.

The agency, in its Feb. 24 notice, said it is “monitoring an increase in extensively drug-resistant Shigella infections reported through national surveillance systems” and said that about 5 percent of “Shigella infections reported to CDC were caused by” drug-resistant strains. That’s compared with 0 percent in 2015, it noted.

“Given these potentially serious public health concerns, CDC asks healthcare professionals to be vigilant about suspecting and reporting cases of [drug-resistant] Shigella infection to their local or state health department and educating patients and communities at increased risk about prevention and transmission,” the CDC advisory said.

The New Endangered Species: The Human Gut Microbiome

The film, “The Invisible Extinction,” warns that the human microbiome is endangered, putting humans at risk

The film highlights the work of microbiologists Dr. Martin Blaser and Gloria Dominguez-Bello — a husband-wife team — who are looking into both the problem and a potential solution to save microbial diversity

The overuse of antibiotics, elective C-sections and processed foods are “driving the destruction of our inner ecology,” according to the film

The dramatic increases in chronic diseases, including Type 1 diabetes, asthma, obesity, gastroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease, may be linked to the loss of bacterial diversity in our guts

Dominguez-Bello is president of The Microbiota Vault, a global nonprofit initiative attempting to “conserve long-term health for humanity” by storing and preserving microbiota samples and collections

ECONOMY & BUSINESS

Report: Jeff Bezos Blocked from Buying Washington Commanders

Billionaire Amazon owner Jeff Bezos has reportedly come up short in his bid to buy the Washington Commanders football team.

What’s behind the decline in consumers’ satisfaction with banks?

In December J.D. Power issued a report that found bank customer satisfaction had practically fallen off a cliff. In particular, younger bank customers were the least satisfied.

Paul McAdam, senior director of banking services at J.D. Power, said banks appeared to be falling short of expectations when it comes to branch service, new customer onboarding and resolving customer complaints.

“As a result, we’re seeing young, well-educated, high-income customers driving a steady decrease in customer satisfaction,” McAdam said at the time. “This is a clear warning sign for banks because key metrics like intent to reuse the brand and customer perception of having a relationship with the brand are also in decline, suggesting a future erosion of new business these customers will bring to their banks.”

When ConsumerAffairs looked into how consumers rate major national banks, we found even more dissatisfaction. Since January 1, Citi has 24 reviews posted on ConsumerAffairs – all of them 1-star reviews, the lowest possible rating. Allison, of Columbus, Ga., is one of the reviewers who didn’t mince words.

“Citibank is by far the worst bank I have ever used,” Allison wrote. “They are a nightmare to talk to and just repeat everything the other says when I’m trying to ask a question. They ‘closed’ my account without warning and then said it would take up to 60 business days for it to be closed. Because of this, my money in this account is sitting in limbo for that long.”

Bank of America has 15 reviews, 14 of them 1-star reviews. The single exception is a 2-star review. Angela, of Dunn, N.C., told us her problem with the bank started when someone made a fraudulent purchase with her account.

“BOA caught and froze my account,” Angela wrote in a ConsumerAffairs review. “They closed the claim but are refusing to release my money. I have called multiple times a day for seven days and after being told it will be three to five business days I still don’t have my money!”

Half of the 1-star Bank of America reviews concerned mortgages or credit cards. Wells Fargo is marginally better. It has 20 reviews so far in 2023, 18 of them 1-star reviews.

But the two exceptions include a 3-star and a 5-star review. Interestingly, the 5-star review is from a mortgage customer wanting to know how to file a claim in the bank’s recent settlement.

There are similar results for JPMorgan Chase and Capital One. So, where are banks going wrong with customers? Some common phrases showing up in 1-star reviews include “hung up on,” “promised savings bonus not paid,” and “wouldn’t let me withdraw my own money.”

BIS Chief Agustin Carstens says Crypto Lost Battle to Fiat Currencies

The general manager of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Agustin Carstens, says the “battle has been won” between fiat and cryptocurrency, and vigilance is no longer needed.

Ford’s new deal with a Chinese electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturer has triggered bipartisan concern over economic and national security risks.

The iconic American automaker on Feb. 13 announced that a new $3.5 billion plant will be built in Marshall, Michigan, 100 miles west of Detroit, to produce lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, better known as LFP, a type of battery cheaper but less energy-dense than the nickel-cobalt-manganese chemistry that currently dominates the market.

A wholly-owned subsidiary will own the factory and employ the workers, Ford said, while China’s Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL), under a licensing agreement, will provide the EV battery technology, some equipment, and workers. CATL is the world’s largest manufacturer of EV batteries, known for its dominance in LFP batteries.

IRS Extends 2023 Tax Deadline in 3 States After FEMA Disaster Declarations

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) said it is extending the tax filing deadline for millions of people living in Alabama, California, and Georgia who have been impacted by recent natural disasters.

A series of tornadoes tore through swaths of Alabama and Georgia in January and February, while much of California suffered widespread flooding due to “atmospheric river”-caused storms starting in December.

Taxpayers “in most of California and parts of Alabama and Georgia” will now have until Oct. 16, 2023, to file their taxes, the IRS said on Feb. 24. The IRS previously pushed back the deadline to May 15 before the most recent IRS update.

“The IRS is offering relief to any area designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in these three states,” an IRS news release said. “There are four different eligible FEMA declarations, and the start dates and other details vary for each of these disasters.” The IRS advises residents to check the current list of eligible localities on its website.

“The declaration permits the IRS to postpone certain tax-filing and tax-payment deadlines for taxpayers who reside or have a business in the disaster area. For instance, certain deadlines falling on or after December 27, 2022, and before October 16, 2023, are granted additional time to file through October 16, 2023,” the IRS release added.

Ford suspends electric F-150 Lightning production for another week following battery fire

Ford Motor is suspending production of its electric F-150 Lightning pickup for another week following a battery issue that resulted in one of the vehicles catching fire early this month.

Ford said Friday its battery supplier, SK, has started building battery cells again at a plant in Georgia but it will take time “to ensure they are back to building high-quality cells and to deliver them to the Lightning production line.”

“The teams worked quickly to identify the root cause of the issue,” Ford said in a statement Friday. “We agree with SK’s recommended changes in their equipment and processes for SK’s cell production lines.”

Apple Responds to Report on Thieves Stealing iPhone Passwords to ‘Steal Your Entire Digital Life’

Tech giant and iPhone maker Apple Inc. responded to a report published Friday that detailed how scammers and criminals are spying on iPhone users’ passcodes before stealing their device and gaining access, stealing thousands of dollars in the process.

Every one of the victims interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, for its front page article titled “A Basic iPhone Feature Helps Criminals Steal Your Entire Digital Life,” said their iPhones were stolen while they were at public places at night or in bars. At least one said they were drugged before their device was stolen and unlocked, others said their iPhones were grabbed from their hands by a person they had just met, some said they were assaulted, and some described other scenarios, according to the paper.

Biden Admin Proposes to Block Half of Current Gas Range Models

An efficiency proposal by the Department of Energy (DOE) would block half of current gas cooking appliances from the U.S. market, an analysis by the federal agency shows.

The DOE proposed a maximum annual gas consumption of 1,204 thousand British thermal units (kBtu), also known as the EL 2 standard, for all gas cooking tops. If that rule is finalized, only half of those appliances that are currently on the market would be able to meet the new standard.

The department “estimates that nearly half of the total gas cooking top market currently achieves EL 2 and therefore would not be impacted by the proposed standard, if finalized,” DOE stated in an updated analysis (pdf).

The department issued the updated analysis mainly because it excluded certain types of gas cooking tops in the previous analysis that was published on Feb. 1 (pdf).

The governmental agency includes gas cooking tops with high input rate (HIR) burners in the new analysis.

The market share of qualified products expands substantially because all products with HIR can meet the new standard, according to the DOE.

The new rule would take effect three years after it’s adopted.

Charging Woes Plague Electric Vehicle Owners as Biden Administration Seeks to Expand Network of Stations

White House announced a series of executive actions this month to create a national charging network for electric vehicles, even as EV owners and reviewers have continued to note short travel ranges, long charging times, and difficulty finding charging stations.

A February 15 White House press release indicated that Tesla Motors will “open a portion of its U.S. Supercharger and Destination Charger network to non-Tesla EVs, making at least 7,500 chargers available for all EVs by the end of 2024,” including at “least 3,500 new and existing 250 kW Superchargers along highway corridors.”

National Security Adviser Claims Lab Escape Origin of COVID-19 Lacks ‘Definitive Answer’

On Feb. 26, White House National security adviser Jake Sullivan said there’s “no definitive answer” to whether the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic can be traced to a lab leak in China.

During an interview on the CNN Sunday talk show “State of the Union,” Sullivan addressed a Wall Street Journal report stating the Energy Department had joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in its assessment that COVID-19 likely escaped a Wuhan lab in 2019 due to a research accident.

“Here’s what I can tell you. President Biden has directed, repeatedly, every element of our intelligence community to put effort and resources behind getting to the bottom of this question,” Sullivan said.

The security adviser added that he would share any further information with Congress and the American people. Though for the moment, he noted, “there is not a definitive answer that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question.”

Republicans React to Energy Department’s Reported Finding That COVID ‘Likely’ Leaked From Wuhan Lab

Republican lawmakers responded to a news report saying that the U.S. Energy Department had concluded the lab leak theory was “likely,” saying that the finding supports what many have long suspected.

A Wall Street Journal article on Feb. 26 reported that a classified intelligence report by the Energy Department said that the virus likely leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“So the government caught up to what Real America knew all along,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote in a Twitter post on Sunday.

The responses came as GOP lawmakers ramp up investigations into the origin of COVID-19 and allegations of government-big tech censorship of the debate.

The Energy Department was previously undecided on the issue but now joins the FBI in corroborating the lab leak hypothesis, according to the report. Several people who have read the report said the Department’s judgment was made with “low confidence,” the Journal reported.

COVID Experimental Injections: Prosecute Now

As the number of dead pile up – increasingly in the early teens to mid-twenties range for athletes, so too, is the number of severe injuries many will suffer the rest of their lives along with those now permanently disabled who can no longer work or even function without assistance.

Yes, there’s been hearings here in Texas with health and safety committee members headed up by Sen. Bob Hall but those injections are still being given in the state.  Sen. Ron Johnson [R-WI] brought together those injured and maimed in front of the public and media to tell their gut-wrenching, heart-breaking stories of what happened to them after getting one or more of those experimental gene therapy injections.

And that’s exactly what they are:  experimental.  Again, both Moderna & Pfizer in their SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission) filings (Dec. 31, 2019) clearly state – go to page 14-15:

“To our knowledge, there is no current precedent for an mRNA-based immunotherapy such as the type we are developing being approved for sale by the FDA, European Commission or any other regulatory agency elsewhere in the world.

“Although we expect to submit BLAs for our mRNA-based product candidates in the United States, and in the European Union, mRNA therapies have been classified as gene therapy medicinal products, other jurisdictions may consider our mRNA-based product candidates to be new drugs, not biologics or gene therapy medicinal products, and require different marketing applications. Securing regulatory approval requires the submission of extensive preclinical and clinical data and supporting information to the various regulatory authorities for each therapeutic indication to establish the product candidate’s safety and efficacy.

“Any product candidates we develop may not be effective, may be only moderately effective, or may prove to have undesirable or unintended side effects, toxicities or other characteristics that may preclude our obtaining marketing approval or prevent or limit commercial use.”

FDA Finds Rare Neurological Disorder Is ‘Potential Risk’ With Pfizer RSV Vaccine

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated that two older adults who received Pfizer’s respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine during a clinical trial were subsequently diagnosed with the rare neurological disorder Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Briefing documents (pdf) released on Feb. 24 ahead of this week’s meeting of the Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee flagged the two cases of the disorder and stated that Pfizer’s vaccine poses a potential risk.

“Given the temporal association and biological plausibility, FDA agrees with the assessments of the investigators that these events were possibly related to study vaccine,” the FDA stated in the documents. “Therefore, [Guillain-Barré] is being considered an important potential risk.”

Biodigital Convergence: The Pandemic Started The Genetic Transformation Of Humanity

The Pandemic was never just about a virus and a “vaccine”. It was the first mass-scale application of synthetic biology to the human condition. As such, it transitioned theoretical Convergence science  into applied science but on a global scale. For a world that mostly never heard of Transhumanism, they have arbitrarily been placed on the conveyor belt of transformation.

As Spartacus concludes:

“There needs to be a public conversation about synthetic biology and neurotechnology, right now, and there need to be policies enacted that strictly define international and binding limits for its use. If not, then the human beings of the future will inevitably be reduced to engineered products.”

This is not a joke. It is not a drill. Humanity is on the brink of losing what it means to be human. When Klaus Schwab talks about how the Fourth Industrial Revolution is going to change YOU, he means exactly that: chemically, biologically, physically. But, he is only pointing to the mad science practitioners who are advancing synthetic biology in relative anonymity.

Protection From New COVID-19 Vaccines Drops Sharply Within Months: CDC

The new COVID-19 vaccines provide a boost to protection against hospitalization, although that shielding wanes within months, according to unpublished data presented on Feb. 24.

A bivalent Pfizer or Moderna booster increased protection against hospitalization initially by 52 percent, but that protection dropped to 36 percent beyond 59 days, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) researchers said.

The researchers separately looked at the protection of people who had received two or more monovalent doses, or doses of the original vaccines, and no bivalent booster. They found that people ages 18 to 64 had just 19 percent protection against COVID-19-associated hospitalization and that those 65 and older had just 28 percent protection.

That means the protection after two months was about 60 percent in total for the elderly and goes below 50 percent for all other adults.

The data came from the CDC’s VISION network.

Data from a different CDC-run network, called IVY, showed “minimal to no residual protection” against hospitalization from the original vaccine, Dr. Amadea Britton, a CDC official, said.

States Should Establish Committees to Challenge CDC Guidance: Stanford Professor

All 50 states should establish expert groups to provide alternatives to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a Stanford University professor says.

“Every state should have their own second opinion of CDC policy and decision making,” Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, a professor of health policy at Stanford, told EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders” program. The interview will premiere on Saturday, February 25 at 7:30pm ET.

Bhattacharya is one of the members of the Public Health Integrity Committee in Florida, formed in late 2022 by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Overseen by Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo, the committee of experts “will be able to assess recommendations and guidance related to public health and health care, but particularly being able to offer critical assessments of things that bureaucracies like the FDA, CDC, and NIH are doing,” DeSantis said during a roundtable with committee members.

The CDC has issued recommendations on masking, social distancing, and vaccination during the pandemic that have been widely followed, leading to school closures and vaccine mandates. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized the COVID-19 vaccines and have not altered the authorizations despite the vaccines performing worse against newer variants and the risk-benefit calculus, especially among children, growing more uncertain, according to some outside experts. The U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) has sought to suppress scientific ideas, including the advocation of focused protection of the elderly instead of locking down healthy people.

Project Veritas Staffers Release New Statement as Whistleblowers Say They Stand With James O’Keefe

Staffers at Project Veritas have released a new statement as whistleblowers say they support ousted founder James O’Keefe.

In a Feb. 24 video statement, Project Veritas staffers said they “are at a crossroads” due to the dispute between O’Keefe and the organization’s board of directors.

O’Keefe departed Project Veritas this week after being suspended and stripped of his authority. The board has said it uncovered signs of “financial malfeasance” but that it did not terminate O’Keefe. Staffers said Thursday that supporters should “give us a chance” as they work to continue O’Keefe’s mission.

“We want James back,” staffers said in the new video. “But we have a duty to our generous supporters, to all of you, and to our journalistic integrity to break record stories, which impact our culture, and most importantly, the future of our country.”

Staffers said they’re committed to continuing working to expose waste, fraud, and abuse, and that “no board or donor ever tells us what to report.

“We will never replace James O’Keefe. But for now, we see it as our job to hold the torch for him while keeping the door wide open for his return. We will keep the spirit of James’s mission alive for as long as we are able. We have investigations underway and stories to release. Our reporters are in the field,” they said. “As James has always told us, content is king. Our visionary may not be with us right now, but the Project Veritas mission is vital. We will produce stories and break news until a day may come when we can’t.”

Get to the Point: Can Cats Play With Laser-Pointer Toys?Watching cats play is hilarious; they jump off of every surface, bat their little paws at anything you dangle in front of them, and get absolutely fixated on the silliest things. We need to watch them play (and to play with them) to be happy — and to get all that pent-up kitty energy out. That’s why some cat parents are resistant when they hear their cats can’t play with certain toys. One of the most polarizing cat toys? Laser pointers.

Some people say that laser pointers are the best toy ever for our cats, and some people deliver warnings about the horrors facing you and your cat if you ever allow your cat to play with a laser pointer. (There truly are deep divisions in our country, in case you weren’t sure.) Personally, I am among the hordes of dog trainers and canine behaviorists who regularly advise against using laser pointers because of the risks associated with them, but I’m practical, too.
