Ecuador Announces Plan to Build Two ‘Bukele-Style’ Mega Prisons

President of Ecuador Daniel Noboa announced on Thursday that the South American country will soon begin construction of two maximum-security prisons in the same style as the “mega-prison” built by Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele in 2023.

The announcement is part of the “Phoenix Plan,” a broader list of security-related measures that Noboa, a 36-year-old outsider who took office in November, is seeking to enact to curb Ecuador’s rampant crime, gang violence, and drug trafficking.

“The worst place to put a prison is next to where the criminals live,” Noboa said, adding that the goal is to separate the most dangerous inmates to stop prison massacres and prevent prison riots similar to ones that took place in 2023.

Ecuador has experienced a steady increase in violent crime for years, culminating in a crime wave that turned the country into the tenth most violent in the region in 2022. Authorities registered 4,603 violent deaths that year and over 3,500 during the first half of 2023. The crime in Ecuador has also claimed the lives of several politicians last year and resulted in death threats from local gangs against several others.Last year, former conservative President Guillermo Lasso declared a state of emergency in three of Ecuador’s provinces amidst a violent wave of crime that left several dead, including the then-recently elected Mayor of Manta Agustín Intriago.

Gazprom gas supplies to Europe through Ukraine reach 40.5 mln cubic meters

Gazprom supplied gas for Europe through Ukraine in the volume of 40.5 mln cubic meters per day via the Sudzha gas pumping station in Russia’s Kursk Region, a Gazprom representative told reporters.

“Gazprom supplies Russian gas for transit through Ukrainian territory in the volume confirmed by the Ukrainian side via the Sudzha gas pumping station of 40.5 mln cubic meters as of January 7. The request for the Sokhranovka gas pumping station has been rejected,” a Gazprom representative told reporters.

The transit line through Ukraine remains the only route to supply Russian gas to western and central European countries. The pumping through Nord Stream has been fully suspended.

Since May 2022, when GTSOU announced the suspension of transit to Europe via the Sokhranovka station due to force majeure – the company allegedly cannot exercise control over the Novopskov compressor station in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Russian gas supplies have been flowing through Ukraine in a reduced volume. The Russian gas holding, on the other hand, saw no reason to stop pumping as before.

In the fall of 2022, Naftogaz of Ukraine petitioned the International Court of Arbitration against Gazprom for allegedly late payment for gas transportation services through Ukrainian territory. Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller stated that the arbitration proceeding is illegitimate and that the Russian holding’s participation in the process is pointless. At the same time, Russia may impose sanctions on Naftogaz if the Ukrainian company continues to engage in dishonest behavior, rendering any future relations with it impossible.

Supreme Court Takes Up Colorado Trump Ballot Disqualification Case

The U.S. Supreme Court accepted a petition for immediate review regarding a Colorado Supreme Court decision to strike former President Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential ballot.

“The petition for a writ of certiorari is granted,” reads the procedural order.

Oral arguments are scheduled for Feb. 8.

Petitioners’ and amicus briefs are due by Jan. 18, and respondents’ and amicus briefs are due by Jan. 31, with any reply briefs due by Feb. 5.

The Colorado Supreme Court had disqualified President Trump as a candidate on Dec. 19 in an order that left little chance for the actual removal of his name from the ballot.

On Dec. 27, the Colorado GOP filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme Court asking three separate questions regarding the application of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment and political parties’ First Amendment rights to primary their candidate of choice.

On Jan. 3, President Trump filed a separate petition with a simpler question: Did the Colorado Supreme Court err in its ruling?

The U.S. Supreme Court has taken up President Trump’s petition, and has yet to accept or reject the Colorado GOP’s petition.

Trump Campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said the campaign welcomed the Supreme Court review.

Jeffrey Epstein’s Brother Addresses Rumors of Secret Blackmail Sex Tapes

Jeffrey Epstein’s brother says he doesn’t believe in the existence of blackmail sex tapes, as claimed by some, including an alleged former Israeli spy who accused Epstein of secretly recording powerful men having sex with underage girls for extortion and manipulation.

“This is just an opinion—I never really believed they existed,” Mark Epstein, the sex trafficker’s younger brother, told the New York Post.

“Jeffrey was buying islands in the Virgin Islands. He had his own private 727 [jet]. Do you think he needed to make money by extortion?” he continued, while labeling as “far-fetched” rumors that his brother secretly filmed men of influence having sex with underage girls and used the kompromat to blackmail them.

But the latest unsealing of documents featuring a long list of names of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates has reignited public interest in the matter of whether the blackmail tapes exist and if so, where they are.The tapes’ existence was reportedly confirmed by Epstein’s former girlfriend and co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell, in a meeting with former CBS producer Ira Rosen back in 2016.

The purported interaction between Mr. Rosen and Ms. Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year sentence for helping Epstein traffic and abuse girls, is described in Mr. Rosen’s book “Ticking Clock: Behind the Scenes at 60 Minutes.”

While Ms. Maxwell would have been well placed to have knowledge of the rumored blackmail tapes given her role as Epstein’s accomplice, she is far from the only one who has remarked on their existence.

Mr. Ben-Menashe, an Iran-born Israeli businessman who says he worked for the Mossad in the 1980s, has claimed in a book and in interview after interview that Epstein secretly recorded people engaging in sex acts with underage girls at his numerous properties as part of a “honey-trap” intelligence operation to entrap powerful individuals and politicians. Israel has denied any links between Mr. Ben-Menashe and its intelligence services.

In the book “Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” Mr. Ben-Menashe claims that the blackmail operation that Epstein and Ms. Maxwell ran was a more sordid version of the classic “honey-trap” because underage girls were used, making it not just embarrassing but also criminal.

Epstein Documents Reveal Accuser Sought Maxwell’s Communications With Bill and Hillary Clinton

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s name was mentioned in the latest batch of court documents released related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Dozens of documents containing hundreds of pages of records were released on Jan. 5, the latest tranche of evidence a judge ordered unsealed as part of a 2015 defamation lawsuit filed against Ghislaine Maxwell, who’s serving time in a Florida prison for conspiring with Mr. Epstein to sexually abuse underage girls.

The lawsuit, which was settled in 2017, was brought by Virginia Giuffre, who says Mr. Epstein and his associates abused her.

Ms. Clinton’s name was mentioned in connection with a discovery request by Ms. Giuffre’s attorney’s who were seeking the communications of Ms. Maxwell “with thirteen specific witnesses.” Among the names mentioned in the request were ““Bill and Hillary Clinton.”

Former President Bill Clinton’s name was already mentioned in the first tranche of documents released on Jan. 3.

Ms. Giuffre, who in 2011 alleged that President Clinton had a “close personal relationship” with Ms. Maxwell and Mr. Epstein, tried unsuccessfully to have President Clinton deposed, according to an unsealed filing.

A document in the latest (third) batch also mentions President Clinton in the context of document and photograph requests as part of the lawsuit against Ms. Maxwell.

The Clintons’ daughter, Chelsea Clinton, was also named in a document that notes Ms. Maxwell was photographed at her New York wedding in 2010.

With the release of the latest batch, all three Clintons are now named in Epstein documents, though none of them has been accused of any wrongdoing.

Alarming details surface on Lloyd Austin’s ICU hospitalization, Biden’s White House kept in the dark: ‘Shocking breakdown’

News surfaced on Friday that U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin had been hospitalized since Jan. 1. While the press was kept in the dark that Austin had been hospitalized, it is now reported that President Joe Biden was also unaware of the concerning medical situation. A noteworthy Republican has described the incident as a “shocking breakdown.”

Alarming new details emerged on Saturday regarding Austin’s sudden hospitalization.

The Pentagon did not inform President Biden and other top officials in his administration – including National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan – about Austin’s hospitalization for three days, three U.S. officials reportedly told Politico

Austin was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Monday evening after “complications following a recent elective medical procedure.” Pentagon officials did not reveal what procedure Austin had, what the complications were, or how serious the medical situation was.

Sullivan allegedly told Biden about Austin’s situation shortly after the Department of Defense made the announcement on Thursday.

A White House official told USA Today that Biden and Austin spoke on Saturday evening.

“It was a warm conversation,” the official stated. “The president has complete confidence in Secretary Austin and is looking forward to him being back in the Pentagon.”

Austin spent four days in the intensive care unit, two senior administration officials told NBC News.

While he was in the hospital, Austin’s duties were partially assumed by Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks.  However, Hicks was on pre-scheduled vacation in Puerto Rico at the time, according to a defense official.  The official said that Hicks “has maintained full communication with the DOD staff throughout,” and added, “She has monitored DOD’s day-to-day operations and conducted some routine business.”

The stunning lack of communication has been slammed by the press and government officials.  The Pentagon Press Association called the lack of transparency an “outrage.”

“The fact that he has been at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for four days and the Pentagon is only now alerting the public late on a Friday evening is an outrage,” the Pentagon Press Association said on Friday. “The public has a right to know when U.S. Cabinet members are hospitalized, under anesthesia or when duties are delegated as the result of any medical procedure.”

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) – a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee – released a statement on Saturday declaring the situation a “shocking breakdown.”

“Secretary Austin must address promptly the troubling report that the Department of Defense didn’t immediately notify President Biden or the National Security Council that he was hospitalized and unable to perform his duties,” Cotton declared. “The Secretary of Defense is the key link in the chain of command between the president and the uniformed military, including the nuclear chain of command, when the weightiest of decisions must be made in minutes.”

“If this report is true, there must be consequences for this shocking breakdown,” Cotton concluded.

Chuck Hagel – a former senator who served as defense secretary during the Obama administration – chimed in by saying, “The NSC is part of your team, it’s part of the family. The president has to know where his Cabinet members are at all times.”

An anonymous U.S. official told Politico, “This should not have happened this way.”

Department of Defense spokesperson Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said that the hospitalization was kept from the media due to “medical and personal privacy issues.”

On Saturday, Austin addressed the backlash of keeping his hospitalization a secret.

“I am very glad to be on the mend and look forward to returning to the Pentagon soon,” Austin began.

“I also understand the media concerns about transparency and I recognize I could have done a better job ensuring the public was appropriately informed,” he continued. “I commit to doing better. But this is important to say: this was my medical procedure, and I take full responsibility for my decisions about disclosure.”

The NSC and Pentagon declined to comment on the situation.

FBI Arrests 3 ‘January 6 Fugitives’ on 3rd Anniversary of Capitol Breach

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced on Jan. 6—three years to the day after the U.S. Capitol breach—that it had arrested three “January 6 fugitives,” which comes amid concerns about the treatment of dozens of Jan. 6 detainees who remain jailed without trial.

The FBI’s Tampa division said in a statement that agents executed warrants on Saturday morning at a ranch in Groveland, Florida, where all three individuals were taken into custody.

“The subjects taken into custody are January 6 fugitives Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III,” the agency stated in a post on X.

All three defendants are scheduled to make a court appearance in federal court in Ocala, Florida, on Jan. 8.  The FBI did not provide any further details regarding their capture.

The three detainees were wanted by the FBI since federal arrest warrants were issued for each on June 25, 2021, with charges common to all including assault and resisting arrest, with wanted posters labeling them as to be considered “armed and dangerous.”The FBI advertised a $30,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Mr. Pollock, described as a 24-year-old welder and ironworker from Lakeland.

Mr. Pollock has been charged with assaulting, resisting or impeding of certain officers or employees, aiding and abetting, theft of government property, being in a restricted building or grounds without permission, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Wanted posters for 33-year-old Ms. Pollock and 27-year-old Mr. Hutchinson listed the same alleged crimes, with the exception of theft of government property.

All three were previously arrested and indicted on July 1, 2021, along with two others—Joshua Christopher Doolin and Michael Steven Perkins— according to the Department of Justice (DOJ). But while Mr. Doolin was sentenced to 18 months in prison and Mr. Perkins got 4 years behind bars, the other three suspects failed to show up at their respective trials.

Over 1,200 people have been charged with various crimes in relation to the Jan. 6 Capitol incident, ranging from misdemeanor offenses like trespassing to felonies like seditious conspiracy or assaulting police officers.

Of these, roughly 750 have been sentenced, with nearly two-thirds receiving some time in prison.

The longest prison sentence—22 years—was handed down to Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys national chairman who was convicted of seditious conspiracy for what prosecutors alleged was as a plot to stop the transfer of power from then President Donald Trump to then President-elect Joe Biden during the certification of electoral votes in Congress on Jan. 6, 2021.

Dozens of Jan. 6 detainees are still languishing in jail awaiting trial three years after the Capitol incident.

Congress Leaders Reach $1.59 Trillion Deal on Spending Levels in Bid to Avert Government Shutdown

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Jan. 7 announced that he had reached a deal with Senate Democrats and the White House on top-line spending numbers, a key step in the race to avert a government shutdown in the coming weeks.

Mr. Johnson announced the development in a “Dear Colleague” letter circulated to lawmakers.

“After many weeks of dialogue and debate, we have secured hard-fought concessions to unlock the FY 24 top-line numbers and allow the Appropriations Committee to finally begin negotiating and completing the twelve annual appropriations bills,” Mr. Johnson said.

The proposal suggests a top-line figure of $1.590 trillion for fiscal year 2024.

That figure, in line with the statutory requirements of the Fiscal Responsibility Act, passed last year, includes $886 billion for defense and $704 billion for non-defense expenditures.

Mr. Johnson boasted that the tentative agreement would include an additional $16 billion in spending cuts over the previously negotiated framework and a $30 billion overall reduction compared to the Senate’s original spending plan.

Under the $740 billion Inflation Reduction Act, one of the final legislative acts of the 117th Congress, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) was granted $60 billion in funding. Undoing this funding has been a key priority for Republican lawmakers in the 118th Congress.

The new deal would entail that roughly a third of that, $20 billion total, will be cut.

Additionally, Mr. Johnson boasted a $6.1 billion reduction in COVID-era “slush funds,” which he said Republicans won “despite fierce opposition from the White House.

Conservative Republicans do not appear to be in favor of the plan; however, Democrat leaders are praising it.

FAA Temporarily Grounds Dozens of Boeing 737 Max 9 Aircraft Following Alaska Airlines Incident

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ordered a temporary grounding of about 171 Boeing Max 9 airplanes after an incident on an Alaska Airlines airplane.

“The FAA will order the temporary grounding of certain Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft operated by U.S. airlines or in U.S. territory,” the federal agency said on Saturday in a statement. “The Emergency Airworthiness Directive (EAD) that will be issued shortly will require operators to inspect aircraft before further flight that do not meet the inspection cycles specified in the EAD. The required inspections will take around four to eight hours per aircraft.”

The FAA estimated that around 171 airplanes will be affected worldwide by this order.

The civil aviation authority issued the order after an incident happened on an Alaska Airlines flight.

An Alaska Airlines flight en route from Portland, Oregon, to Ontario, California, made an emergency landing on Friday night following a mid-air incident where a portion of the aircraft blew out.

Social media footage shows a window and a portion of a side wall panel missing on the airplane and oxygen masks deployed. It actually was the left-side exit door (see photo above).

Images of the aircraft shared by passengers onboard seem to indicate that, during the flight, the rear mid-cabin exit door became detached from the aircraft, reported Flightradar24 on its website.

Alaska Airlines Flight 1282, a Boeing 737 MAX 9, departed from Portland International Airport at 4:52 p.m. PST, according to FlightAware.

The incident occurred approximately six minutes into the flight when the aircraft reached an altitude of around 16,000 feet.

The jet, carrying 171 passengers and six crew members, safely returned to Portland International Airport and landed at approximately 5:30 p.m, the airline confirmed.

The pilot declared an emergency, notifying air traffic control of a depressurization issue, stating, “We’re declaring an emergency. We do need to come down to 10,000.”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that a “pressurization issue” occurred.

Both the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.

Alaska Airlines released a statement, saying, “The safety of our guests and employees is always our primary priority, so while this type of occurrence is rare, our flight crew was trained and prepared to safely manage the situation.”

The airline is actively investigating the incident and has pledged to share more information as it becomes available.

The new Boeing 737 MAX 9 was delivered in late October to Alaska Airlines and certified in early November, according to FAA data.

Boeing said in a statement that it was looking into the emergency landing.

“We are aware of the incident involving Alaska Airlines Flight 1282,“ the company said in a statement. ”We are working to gather more information and are in contact with our airline customer. A Boeing technical team stands ready to support the investigation.”

Boeing has faced previous issues with its 737 MAX 8 model, leading to its grounding worldwide between March 2019 and December 2020. The groundings followed two fatal crashes involving the model: Lion Air Flight 610 on Oct. 29, 2018, and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 on March 10, 2019, resulting in a combined total of 346 fatalities.

In April, a manufacturing issue was discovered in the 737 MAX 8 model related to the installation of fittings in the rear fuselage. Boeing insisted it was not an immediate safety concern, and the FAA validated that conclusion, allowing affected planes to continue flying while inspections were conducted.

Largest U.S. radio company Audacy files for bankruptcy protection

Audacy, the radio and podcast giant, said yesterday it filed plans for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Texas to reduce its debt. Corporate officials say the restructuring agreement will allow Audacy to slash its total debt load by 80% to about $350 million from around $1.9 billion.

“Over the past few years, we have strategically transformed Audacy into a leading, scaled multi-platform audio content and entertainment company,” David Field, CEO of Audacy, said in a statement.

However, Field added, “the perfect storm” over the past four years of macroeconomic challenges “facing the traditional advertising market” led to a sharp reduction in radio ad speing.

“These market factors have severely impacted our financial condition and necessitated our balance sheet restructuring,” Field said.

The Philadelphia-based company owns hundreds of radio stations and is one of the top radio broadcasters in the U.S. Audacy owns WFAN Sports Radio, New York’s 1010 WINS and KCBS.

Weight loss drugs Ozempic and Wegovy may not increase thoughts of suicide, study finds

Despite anecdotes of suicidal ideations linked to the popular medications, new research finds little evidence of negative mental health effects.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is investigating whether three potential health issues or side effects, including suicidal ideation, hair loss, and aspiration, are linked to popular semaglutide and tirzepatide weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro.

The investigation was unveiled on Tuesday with the agency’s quarterly report, which revealed that the FDA is looking into reports of the alleged side effects and if there is a need for regulatory action.

The FDA’s Adverse Events Reporting System (FAERS) Public Dashboard shows that since 2018, the agency has received 16,854 reports of adverse events from patients taking Ozempic. Of these, 108 were reports of suicidal ideation, nine were suicide attempts, and six were completed suicides. Fifteen reports of suicidal ideation were reported by Mounjaro users, and Wegovy users reported 14.

The FDA’s investigation is investigating 13 glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist medications in all, which, like Ozempic, Mounjaro, and Wegovy, have been linked to potential suicidal ideation. In total, the FDA’s FAERS records show over 200 reports of suicide or suicidal ideation through September 2023 for semaglutides and tirzepatides.

The FDA’s newest actions align with other global medical communities. In July 2023, the European Medical Agencies began reviewing data on the risk of GLP-1 receptor agonists after receiving 150 reports of suicidal ideation and self-harm.

Only Wegovy, which has been approved for weight loss by the FDA, carries a warning for health care professionals to monitor patients for suicidal thoughts. Ozempic, approved to treat diabetes, does not carry a similar warning.

In addition to suicidal ideation, the FDA will also investigate whether the class of drugs used widely to manage diabetes and chronic weight issues leads to sudden hair loss and aspiration, or inhaling food or water into your windpipe instead of swallowing.

24 Ways to Ditch Sugar in 2024 (and Beyond)

O.K, I’m not going to sugar-coat it: sugar is public health Enemy #1. As good as it may taste, sugar, like most things that have the power to addict us, is an extraordinarily destructive substance. People simply eat far too much of it. The not-so-sweet reality is that Americans are eating sugar by the pound — some estimates put the average adult intake at close to 130 pounds of sugar a year – an astonishing amount of any substance, much less an addictive toxin that maims you from the inside.

While plenty of sugar-loving people choose to overlook the danger, with each passing day, more studies confirm what we in the optimal health community have long known: sugar plays a pivotal role in the development of the devastating illnesses we fear most, like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, Alzheimer’s…the list goes on.

My advice? Make 2024 your year to get a divorce from sugar. Believe me, I understand how tough it can be to let it go– I struggled to kick the stuff myself a while back. But I also know that you can finally can break free of its grip. The future of your health depends on it.

So, how to kick? In honor of 2024, I’ve put together my 24-point list of tips for slaying the sugar monster once and for all. Here’s where to start:

Ditching sugar improves health –  almost overnight.

The first thing to remember is that sugar is highly inflammatory, and consequently its really good at speeding up the aging process of all your major organs, including your largest, your skin. Besides contributing to mounting numbers of wrinkles, it also amps up your risk for obesity, diabetes, heart disease, neurological decline and other mostly preventable health problems.

However, the good news is that ditching the sweet stuff now can significantly, and relatively quickly, decrease these risks, along with many common complaints, like crappy sleep quality, brain fog, aches and pains. And yes, losing sugar will help slow down or even prevent the development of wrinkles – so no more dreaded ‘sugar face.’ Other benefits that kick in almost immediately when you kick sugar out:

  • Lower blood pressure and fewer of the dangerous cholesterol particles
  • Lower triglycerides, with levels reduced in some cases by as much as 30%
  • Less headache, migraine and menstrual cramp pain, thanks to reduced sugar-induced inflammation
  • Better sleep, because without all that subtly stimulating sugar, you’ll fall asleep faster and your body can rest, instead of working overtime to excrete the excess sugar (meaning fewer nocturnal bathroom visits)
  • Better mental clarity, as less sugar means less brain fog, and sharper cognitive function
  • Better mental health and mood, thanks to fewer blood sugar spikes and crashes which tend to worsen mood disorders like depression and anxiety, and can increase risk of developing a mental illness.

New research links dietary heavy metal exposure and cancer

It’s unsettling to realize that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) permits trace amounts of insects, rodent hair, and feces in our food supply.  Equally alarming is the revelation that federal regulations allow food producers to incorporate heavy metals into our meals.

Recent research draws attention to the dangerous levels of heavy metals in food, posing exceptionally high risks to children.  Both this study and another investigation confirm that ingesting these heavy metals through food can lead to cancer and other severe health complications.

From baby spoons to big plates: How heavy metals contaminate our food supply

The issue of metal contamination in our food is deeply concerning, with a spotlight on its presence in baby food drawing heightened attention from health experts.  Just a couple of years ago, a U.S. Congressional Report exposed alarming levels of metals in baby food, prompting their removal from store shelves.  More recently, similar levels of concern have been detected in fruit purees targeted at children.

The studies above shed light on the concerning connection between heavy metal exposure through infant food consumption and increased cancer risk.

So, how do these heavy metals infiltrate our food chain?  Crops can absorb these contaminants from polluted groundwater, tainted soil, and airborne particles.  Detailed examinations of food components have unveiled trace amounts of toxic heavy metals like cadmium, arsenic, and lead, not only in baby food but also in certain adult food products.

Cadmium in crops: Silent threat lurking in our favorite foods

The heavy metal cadmium seeps into produce through emissions from factories and fertilizers.  Cadmium is toxic, yet trace amounts are commonly found in the following foods:

  • Leafy green veggies
  • Grain used in cereal
  • Potatoes
  • Nuts

Cadmium toxicity causes a moderate-to-high risk for endometrial, pancreatic, bladder, breast, and prostate cancer.  The same elevated risk level holds true for non-cancer health issues such as neurological, immunological, and reproductive problems.

It is the most vulnerable among us who are likely to consume cadmium.  Researchers determined babies and youngsters between six months and five years of age are exposed to this heavy metal more frequently than other age cohorts.

American babies and youngsters who consume wheat, oats, spinach, rice, and potatoes surpass the maximum acceptable intake amounts established by the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR), a federal public health agency created to help reduce the human health risks caused by exposure to harmful substances.

Heavy metals are also present in a wide variety of adult foods

While the medical community is chiefly alarmed by the presence of detrimental heavy metals in infant foods, it’s crucial to recognize that adults are not exempt from this risk.  Heavy metals can be detected in various foods, from spinach to rice.  Prolonged exposure to these contaminants, especially inorganic arsenic, is believed to play a role in the development of cancer.

The study linked above reveals the presence of lead in foods such as beets and other root vegetables spurs a moderate-to-high risk for the following cancers:

  • Brain
  • Lung
  • Bladder
  • Kidney
  • Stomach

The analysis also revealed the same moderate-to-high scores for risks aside from cancer, ranging from respiratory issues to reproductive problems, neurological challenges, and poor renal health.

Simple ways to reduce your heavy metal exposure

In an era of rising concerns about heavy metal exposure, taking proactive steps to safeguard your health is paramount.  Here are some straightforward strategies to minimize your intake of these harmful contaminants:

Avoid processed foods:  The foremost step to shield yourself from the threats of heavy metals is to eliminate processed foods from your diet.  If you’re looking to feed your family healthy foods … buy organic ingredients and make the food yourself.

Opt for organic:  Replace processed items with organic fruits and vegetables.  Seek out produce from local farmers’ markets or the organic section of your nearby grocery store.  Foods rich in fiber, such as bran, grains, and certain fruits, can help reduce the absorption of heavy metals in the body.

Use a saunaConsider incorporating sessions in a far infrared sauna – several times per week.  The sweat generated inside a sauna will help you to remove heavy metals plus many other unwanted toxins.

Vineyard Wind, country’s first large-scale offshore wind project, is producing clean electricity

Electricity from the country’s first large-scale offshore wind project is officially flowing into Massachusetts and helping to power the New England grid.

The Vineyard Wind project achieved “first power” late Tuesday when one operating turbine near Martha’s Vineyard delivered approximately five megawatts of electricity to the grid. The company said it expects to have five turbines operating at full capacity in early 2024.

Vineyard Wind was supposed to have five turbines sending power to the grid by the end of 2023. Instead, they announced first power with just one turbine fully operational, and a few days late. Project leaders chalked up the delay to a bit of bad weather, some extra precautions and a steep learning curve. The Vineyard Wind 1 project, as it’s officially known, is still under construction. Once it’s finished sometime in 2024, it will consist of 62 turbines spaced about a mile apart and rising more than 800 feet out of the water. The project will generate up to 800 megawatts of power, or about enough electricity for 400,000 homes in Massachusetts. In May 2021, Vineyard Wind 1 became the first U.S. project to get full federal approval. A few months later, the project secured financing and began onshore construction. Offshore construction, including the laborious process of laying miles of subsea electrical cables from the project site to Covell’s Beach on Cape Cod, began in 2022. The work to install the remaining 57 turbines will continue into 2024.

The Big List of Botanical Plant Names and their Meanings for Gardeners

Botanical names, also known as scientific names, follow a binomial nomenclature – a two-part system for naming and categorizing plants that was originally developed by the Swedish botanist and physician Carl Linnaeus in 1758.

This system consists of the genus, a higher taxonomic (classification) rank that groups closely related species, followed by the species, which refers to a group of similar organisms capable of interbreeding.

These taxonomic names not only categorize plants, but also convey information about them.

Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, the Port Charlotte store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain edible and nutrient-rich to Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida.

Government agencies execute raid on Amish farm previously scrutinized by feds, lawyer says seizure is ‘patently illegal’

Multiple government agencies executed a search warrant on an Amish farm in Pennsylvania on Thursday. Government employees are seen on video hauling away several coolers of products from the organic farm. However, the lawyer for the farmer in question argues that the seizure of food was “patently illegal.”

Three Pennsylvania State Troopers and seven employees of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture conducted an hours-long search of a farm in Upper Leacock Township. Police are seen on video ordering a reporter from the Lancaster Patriot to exit the building while the search was conducted.

Video of the raid shows government employees seizing multiple coolers from the Lancaster County dairy farm owned by Amos Miller.

The news outlet reported that the search warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge B. Denise Commins on Wednesday. The search warrant purportedly included an affidavit of probable cause completed by Sheri Morris – acting Bureau director of food safety with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture said it executed a search warrant as part of an investigation into two food-borne illness cases, according to Lancaster Online.

The potential cases stem from two underage individuals in Michigan and New York suffering illness after consuming raw eggnog and other raw dairy products from the Miller Organic Farm. Health officials in both states noted that the sickened individuals tested positive for Shiga toxin-producing E. coli.

The raid of Miller’s farm “sought, among other things, illegal raw milk and raw milk products, including eggnog,” the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture said.

The government agency declared, “Miller has never licensed his retail operation.”

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) said of the raid on the X social media platform: “Looks like Amos Miller’s farm is being raided. With all of the problems in society today, this is what the government wants to focus on? A man growing food for informed customers, without participating in the industrial meat/milk complex? It’s shameful that it’s come to this.”

Massie is the co-author of the PRIME Act bill that “makes it easier for small farms and ranches to serve consumers.”

“Consumers want to know where their food comes from, what it contains, and how it’s processed. Yet, federal inspection requirements make it difficult to purchase food from trusted, local farmers,” Massie said. “It is time to open our markets to give producers the freedom to succeed and consumers the freedom to choose.”

Miller’s attorney, Robert Barnes, proclaimed that the seizure of food was “patently illegal.”

Barnies issued a statement after the search was conducted:

Today, the Department of Agriculture of the State of Pennsylvania suddenly came, without notice, raided Amos’ farm, and detained everything Amos had in the farm’s freezer. They did so in a lawless manner, without appropriate authority, in violation of their own rules and regulations, despite never objecting to the prior resolutions reached with the federal government, and despite a complete failure by the state to even reach out to Amos’ known counsel, Robert Barnes. The state’s own rules require advance notice, reasonable time frames for inspections, and a showing of credentials, none of which occurred here. Instead, the state unlawfully obtained a search warrant, based on materially false statements in an affidavit by a high-ranking state official in an agency with a known grievance against independent farmers like Amos, and, after the raid and finding no evidence of wrongdoing, then illegally ordered detained every item of food in one of Amos Miller’s coolers, including buffalo meat not even subject to federal regulation. The detention order is patently illegal under Pennsylvania law. Despite the constant harassment, Amos will continue to do all he legally can to provide the food his members deeply need. Amos thanks you for your continued support at this critical time for food freedom in America.

Miller has been in legal battles with the government for years.

In 2016, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration scrutinized Amos over selling raw milk.

Two individuals suffered from listeriosis – one of whom died. Health officials traced the raw milk back to Miller’s Organic Farm.

The USDA came down hard on Miller for slaughtering farm animals without federal inspections of his operation. Miller argued that his farm only sold the meat to those with private club memberships to Miller’s Organic Farm, which he believed exempted him to federal regulations.

According to the Foundation for Economic Education, “The story reached a climax in March 2022 when a federal judge ordered Miller to cease and desist all meat sales and authorized armed U.S. Marshals to use ‘reasonable force’ to gain access to Miller’s farm so a court expert could inspect it.”

The expert and the U.S. Marshals took an inventory of all Miller’s meat on the premises.

Federal inspectors continue to investigate Miller’s farm every few months. However, Miller has often been in a standoff with the federal government over allowing inspectors on his farm.

The U.S. Department of Justice filed a civil action requiring Miller’s farm to comply with federal meat and poultry food safety statutes.

The Amish farmer initially faced fines from the government of $250,000.

2ND AMENDMENT

NRA Head Wayne LaPierre Resigns

The longtime face of the National Rifle Association (NRA), Wayne LaPierre, announced his resignation from the Second Amendment advocacy group on Jan. 5.

Citing health reasons for his departure, Mr. LaPierre said he is proud of his tenure with the organization and is looking forward to continuing to stand up for Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

“With pride in all that we have accomplished, I am announcing my resignation from the NRA,” Mr. LaPierre is quoted in a statement posted on the NRA’s website.

“I’ve been a card-carrying member of this organization for most of my adult life, and I will never stop supporting the NRA and its fight to defend Second Amendment freedom. My passion for our cause burns as deeply as ever.”

The announcement of Mr. LaPierre’s resignation, effective Jan. 31, came just days before proceedings in a corruption lawsuit filed against the NRA, Mr. LaPierre, and other NRA executives by Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James are set to begin next week.

Ms. James had originally petitioned the New York State Supreme Court to dissolve the NRA, but in March 2022 those claims were dismissed.

The court will hear Ms. James’s claims that Mr. LaPierre and former NRA officials Wilson Phillips, John Frazer, and Joshua Powell misused NRA funds to pay for personal expenses, including travel on private jets, in violation of New York law.

The defendants claim that Ms. James’s case is a politically motivated attempt to take down an organization she disagrees with.

NRA president Charles Cotton reportedly accepted the 74-year-old LaPierre’s resignation last Friday. In the NRA’s online statement, Mr. Cotton said the former CEO was leaving the organization more robust than it was when he started work in 1977.

Former NRA executive pleads guilty to fraud, agrees to testify in New York AG trial

Ex-operations director Joshua Powell settled civil claims of fraud and abuse.

Joshua Powell, former operations director of the National Rifle Association (NRA), has reached a settlement with the New York attorney general’s office over civil claims of fraud and abuse.

Mr. Powell was employed by the NRA between 2016 and January 2020.

The lawsuit brought by Letitia James, New York attorney general, alleged that Mr. Powell breached his fiduciary duties and failed to administer the charitable assets entrusted to his care by using his powers as an officer and senior executive of the NRA to covert charitable assets for the benefit of himself and his family members.

He admitted the alleged wrongdoing and agreed to pay $100,000 to the NRA, to not serve as an officer in a nonprofit or charitable organization, and to testify against the NRA at the demand of Ms. James’s office, according to the settlement.

Mr. Powell’s settlement was filed on the same day as the resignation of Wayne LaPierre, the longtime head of the NRA.

‘Large-scale civil disobedience’ against ‘unconstitutional’ Illinois gun ban

“Constitutional rights in the state of Illinois are trampled on by an outrageous Governor and legislature,” says Slater.

Meanwhile, the new law requires assault weapon holders to register their firearms by January 2024, and currently less than 1% of FOID card owners have registered anything.

“I think you’re looking at a very large-scale civil disobedience here when it comes to this unconstitutional law.”

New Florida bill would lower gun buying age to 18

Republican Rep. Bobby Payne is hoping his bill to lower the age requirement from 21 to 18 to buy a gun in Florida sticks this time.  A similar bill was filed in 2023 and was backed by House Speaker Paul Renner.  Fellow Republicans like Rep. Randy Fine say it should already be in place.

“I think it’s great. Nineteen and 20-year-olds should be able to buy a gun in the state of Florida. They are adults, and they should have those rights,” Fine said.

It’s a move that would overturn part of a law that passed in the aftermath of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018. The shooter — who was 19 years old at the time — used a semi-automatic rifle to kill 17 students and faculty members. The state legislature and then-Gov. Rick Scott approved a law increasing the minimum age to buy a firearm to 21.

“It’s a mistake that we made a few years ago. I’m glad that we’re going to correct it,” Fine said.

Democratic Party Rep. Anna Eskamani believes the Parkland shooting is just one of many examples of why the age should not be lowered.

“We lost 17 people — the majority young people — to gun violence. The fact that the legislature, once again, is trying to repeal that age protection — it’s so scary and unsettling, especially as we continue to see mass shootings across the country,” Eskamani said.

According to the National Gun Archive, as of Jan. 6, the U.S. has already seen five mass shootings in 2024. One of them, a mass shooting at a school in Iowa, left one dead and five wounded. The gunman was 17 years old.

“An 18, 19, 20-year-old does not need an AR 15. If they are purchasing such a weapon, as you saw in the case of Parkland, they’re doing so to cause serious bodily harm,” Eskamani said. Fine believes it comes down to mental health.

“As we saw just a few days ago in Iowa, you know, a man who thought he was a woman got so confused about it, he went and killed a bunch of people. So we clearly have huge mental health problems when people can’t figure out if they’re boys or girls,” Fine said.

A Senate version of Payne’s bill has not been filed yet.

Study Finds Paxlovid Treatment Does Not Reduce Risk of Long COVID

UCSF Researchers also find higher than expected COVID rebound after treatment with Paxlovid

A team of researchers from UC San Francisco has found that Paxlovid did not reduce the risk of developing long COVID for vaccinated, non-hospitalized individuals during their first COVID-19 infection. They also found that a higher proportion of individuals than previously reported experience rebounds after taking Paxlovid.

The study appears Jan. 4, 2024, in the Journal of Medical Virology.

Paxlovid treatment for acute COVID-19 has been shown to be effective for high-risk unvaccinated individuals. But the effect of the treatment on long COVID risk, including whether it protects vaccinated people from getting long COVID, has been less clear.

The research team selected a group of vaccinated people from the UCSF Covid-19 Citizen Science study who had reported their first positive test for COVID-19 between March and August of 2022 and who were not hospitalized. Some of these participants reported taking oral Paxlovid treatment during the acute phase of their COVID infection, while others did not. In December of 2022, they were invited to answer a follow-up survey with questions about long COVID, COVID rebound symptoms and how long they continued to test positive.

Researchers found the two groups were similar. About 16% of those treated with Paxlovid had long COVID symptoms compared to 14% of those who were not treated. Commonly reported symptoms included fatigue, shortness of breath, confusion, headache, and altered taste and smell. Those who took Paxlovid and then went on to develop long COVID reported as many long COVID symptoms as those who were not treated with Paxlovid. A small percentage of people developed severe long COVID, and those who had received Paxlovid were just as likely to have severe Long COVID symptoms as those who did not.

Among individuals who experienced symptomatic improvement during Paxlovid treatment, 21% reported rebound symptoms. And among those with rebound, 10.8% reported one or more long COVID symptoms. For those who did not rebound, 8.3% reported at least one long COVID symptom. For participants who repeated antigen testing after testing negative and completing treatment, 25.7% reported rebound test positivity. In total, 26.1% reported rebound symptoms or test positivity.

“We found a higher proportion with clinical rebound than previously reported but did not identify an effect of post-treatment rebound on long COVID symptoms,” said study first author Matthew Durstenfeld, MD, MAS, a cardiologist and UCSF assistant professor of Medicine. “Our finding that Paxlovid treatment during acute infection is not associated with lower odds of long COVID surprised us, but it is consistent with two other rigorously conducted studies finding no difference in post-COVID conditions between 4 and 6 months after infection.”

The authors note that the study may have been impacted by limitations arising from its observational nature with researchers relying on patient self-reporting of treatment and Long COVID symptoms.

‘House of horrors’: Nationally awarded foster dad faces 20 child sex abuse charges, accused of kicking kid off roof

A Wyoming man is facing a litany of charges related to alleged child sex abuse and physically assaulting minors. The man had previously been recognized for being a model foster parent, and had been given a national award for his care of children.

Steven Randall Marler, 48, was arrested last week and has been charged with 20 counts related to sexual abuse of four children, five counts of battery against four minors, and one count of child endangerment. The alleged child sex abuse allegedly occurred between 2011 and 2021.

“The sexual abuse claims include groping, sexual intrusion, and committing sexual acts against one child inside a treehouse,” according to the Daily Mail

Marler and his wife Kristen have been fostering children since 2008. They have adopted six children, plus hosted dozens of children at their home in Casper, Wyoming.

In 2013, Steven and Kristen Marler were recognized by the federal Administration for Children and Families as one of the top three families in the country and given an Adoption Excellence Award. The couple were invited to the White House for their foster care.

The Administration for Children and Families said the couple possessed key traits of “honesty, integrity, and compassion.”

The federal organization noted that the pair “have an exceptional ability and willingness to respect the children’s relationship with their parents.”

The award listing said, “In addition to creating permanency for children, they also provide support and resources and mentor other foster parents.”

However, Kristen Marler pleaded no contest to misdemeanor child endangering in 2022 after initially being charged with child abuse, according to court documents.

Investigators reportedly noticed that one of the children under the care of the Marler couple had feet that resembled “small cantaloupes.”

The affidavit said the young girl had swollen feet, dry, sloughing nail beds, and “excruciating pain in her feet.”

The girl allegedly told investigators that she was forced to stand from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. at home or run in place as punishment.

The Cowboy State Daily reported, “The children only got to drink during brief visits to the bathroom sink faucet, allegedly. The girl received half a potato for breakfast if she completed her ‘disciplines,’ and a potato with some meat for lunch, says the document.”

“After she told her parents she no longer wanted to live with them, she no longer received fruit, vegetables or dairy products, and she was not allowed to eat the meal that was prepared for the rest of the family,” the affidavit reads.

The girl said that there were locks on the pantry and the refrigerator to keep out the children.

Kambria Marler, a former foster child at the home, says her time there was a “house of horrors.”

Kambria allegedly escaped the home at the age of 17, and said Marler physically abused the children for the slightest of infractions.

“I’m pretty sure all of us have had concussions,” the 20-year-old Kambria told K2 Radio

Kambria said that the adult pair would withhold food from the children as a form of punishment, she would get so hungry that she would eat dog food.

Kambria said she was sent to the Wyoming Cowboy Challenge Academy when she was 17. At the time, Kambria weighed just 69 pounds from malnourishment.

K2 Radio reported, “Out of spite one day, Kambria etched an ‘X’ onto the dusty glass of a family portrait over Kristen’s face. Her foster mother became enraged and began to beat her. Then, allegedly, she had the other foster children take sharpies and cross out Kambria’s face in all their family photos.”

Charging documents claim Steven Marler punched a child in the nose so hard that the kid drew blood.

Marler is accused of endangering a child by kicking “the victim off the roof and did not get (the child) medical attention.”

Marler reportedly faces up to life in prison for the first-degree sexual abuse charges, 20 years for the second-degree charges, and up to 15 years for the third-degree charges.

Court records show Marler was released on $225,000 bond.

‘Speed Racer’ actor Christian Oliver, 2 young daughters killed in Caribbean plane crash

“Speed Racer” actor Christian Oliver and his two young daughters were killed after a plane they were traveling in crashed on Thursday, officials said.

A statement from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said that the crash occurred near the Caribbean island of Bequia. The plane was going to St. Lucia from the J.F. Mitchell Airport, said officials.

“Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” local authorities said on social media. “Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly traveled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead in the rescue efforts.”

The statement identified Christian Klepser, 51, and his two daughters, Madita, 10, and Annik, 12, as passengers who died in the plane crash. The actor used the stage name Christian Oliver.

Several residents in St. Vincent told a local outlet that they heard a strange noise made by the plane before it took off. “It sounded like when a vehicle is struggling … you know, stalling, struggling for power to go up a hill,” local resident Danroy Joseph said.

The police statement did not provide details on the type of plane they were traveling in, only that it was a single-engine aircraft.

Celebrating January 6, 2021

On the 3rd anniversary of J6 2021, events of that day are celebrated by all sane Americans as the day when the once silent majority, stopped being silent. Before going any further, there’s a few basic facts about J6 that some foolish Americans must come to grips with…

  • Every Federal, State and Local government property is the property of the American taxpayers. No one has more right to enter those facilities than the American taxpayers themselves. These buildings are not owned by the public servants who work inside. Our government owns nothing. The taxpayers own it all, including the public servants.
  • There’s no such thing as an “unarmed insurrection.” Never in human history has a people ever attempted to “overthrow a government” unarmed. That’s because governments are armed to the teeth, also paid for by American taxpayers.
  • And, in over 247 years of USA history, literally hundreds of political figures and millions of voters have stated their opinions that an “election was stolen” from them, including democrats Hillary Clinton and Al Gore of late, as well as low level politicians at the city, state, and county levels. There’s nothing new about this at all. Many times, the accusation has been true! Other times, not…

For four years, commie leftists in the USA shouted “not my president” regarding Trump. They torched cities, attacked police, destroyed and looted businesses, all because they were Pavlov trained by the Democrat Party to “hate Trump” and all things American. Numerous times, dumbed-down democrat voters have seized a legislative plaza, shut down the people’s business inside and threatened politicians over abortion and countless other anti-American leftwing agendas. Public protests are a staple in any free society, and they don’t always end peacefully.

Of late, these same morons have even taken over whole cities marching in support of known terrorists like Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah. Can’t get any more anti-American than that!

Further, there’s plenty of live video available on open-source platforms showing how Capitol Police ushered people into those buildings on that day, and even escorted many through the buildings. For the record, taxpayers visiting and walking through those buildings is a daily event for those who visit DC.

Last, it’s also been proven that Trump offered additional security that day simply due to the volume of people attending events…that Speaker Nancy Pelosi repeatedly declined any additional security that day, against the advice of the House Security Chief, and that numerous BLM, ANTIFA and FBI personnel were on the grounds inciting a riot under the guise of being MAGA folks.

So, while dementia Joe tries to stop his tailspin to the lowest approval ratings of any former US President, by once again attempting to paint J6 as something every sane person knows it wasn’t, no one is listening except a handful of morons who know none of the true surrounding facts of that day. Most of them don’t even want to know.

Contrary to the blatant Democrat Party lies on the matter, J6 should be celebrated as the day when the American people decided to stand up and speak out against overbearing corruption in our government, including unlawful elections.

Whether you know it or not, the 2020 and 2022 elections in particular were held in an “unlawful” manner in all fifty states. Standing election laws were violated in every state during these two election cycles, numerous ways. Some of those states are now rushing new “unconstitutional” election laws into place before November, aiming to make the “unlawful” acts of 2020 and 2022 “legal” in their states, including allowing illegal invaders to vote.

Still, it’s not possible to get a “lawful outcome” from an “unlawful process.” If the process was “unlawful,” or “unconstitutional,” then so is the outcome of that process. It’s just that simple.

That being the case, Americans had and have every right to stand up against government corruption, especially when it involves unlawful elections. The People can either trust that their elections are free, fair, honest, and transparent, or they cannot trust anything from their government at all.

Every American should stand opposed to unlawful elections. It shouldn’t be a partisan issue. But it is, because America now has millions of voters who don’t care about honest elections, so long as their candidate wins.

Since that day, the Democrat Party has become even more corrupt and tyrannical towards every American citizen. Currently, the Democrat Party is disenfranchising all democrat voters by not allowing them to vote for anyone other than international crime boss Joe Biden in the Democrat Primary. Meanwhile, the Democrat Party is also inventing new dirty tricks in an effort to disenfranchise millions of Republican voters by not allowing them a chance to vote for the GOP frontrunner, Trump.

Folks, this is the party and tactics of men like Mao, Hitler, Stalin, and Lenin… there’s nothing at all democratic about today’s Democrat Party. And yes, some RINO Republicans are involved too, like Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley, just to name a couple.

Indeed, J6 marks a day worthy of celebration, as the day when true Americans finally stood up together against a horrifically corrupted system that Obama turned against all Americans fifteen years ago now. Democrats have turned every federal agency against the people, and at least to some degree, the US Military as well.

Three years later, good Americans are still sitting in prison for an “insurrection” that never happened, all due to the lies of America’s political left, politicians, party operatives and even stupid kids posting DNC-funded lies all over social media.

According to dimwit Biden in his so-called campaign speech, his federal gestapo has arrested more than 1000 rallygoers and incarcerated more than 900 of them since J6th. Not one of them was ever charged with “insurrection” and most pled guilty just because they didn’t have the money to fight the tyranny. Make no mistake, these are “political prisoners” of the sort usually only found in 3rd world dictatorships.

If this is the kind of America you want your kids and grandkids to live in, shame on you. Stay quiet on the sidelines, pole vaulting over mouse poop, arguing about far lesser things while Rome is being burned to the ground.

But if not, then don’t be afraid to stand together against evil, anywhere you find it. Just as a garden left unattended will be consumed by weeds, a nation left unattended by its people will soon be consumed by evil.

Find serious groups working to solve these problems and get engaged. Donate to them, volunteer to help, spread the word so that others can know the truth and get involved. Don’t sit idle on the sidelines in 2024 or we will lose our way of life forever.
