Boris Johnson wins vote but suffers large Tory rebellion

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has won the backing of a majority of Tory MPs in a confidence vote despite a significant revolt against his leadership.

The PM won 59% of the vote, meaning he is now immune from a Conservative leadership challenge for a year.

In all, 211 Tory MPs voted they had confidence in the PM’s leadership while 148 voted against him.

Mr Johnson described his confidence vote win as “decisive”.

Striking an upbeat tone, he said it was a “very good”, “convincing” result and “an opportunity to put behind us all the stuff that the media goes on about”.

The result sees the prime minister remain in office, but critics said the scale of the rebellion against him showed his authority had been weakened, with some calling on him to resign.

Biden’s Summit of the Americas gets off to rocky start with Mexico’s boycott

President Joe Biden’s Summit of the Americas will get off to a rocky start this week after Mexico’s president announced he would not attend the gathering, a major snub for a high-profile event that seeks to convene leaders from North, Central and South America.

The summit, which kicks off on Wednesday in Los Angeles, comes at a time when the Biden administration is facing record levels of migration to the United States and as the region is seeing increasing effects from climate change.

New migrant caravan headed for US timed for Summit of the Americas

Several thousand migrants reportedly left the southern Mexico town of Tapachula on Monday, beginning their journey to the United States to coincide with the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles this week.

The Associated Press and Reuters reported the group is the largest to leave southern Mexico this year, with many migrants coming from Venezuela, Cuba and Central America. The Associated Press estimated the caravan included between 4,000 to 5,000 migrants, while Reuters reported the caravan has grown to at least 6,000 people.

The caravan has set its sights on eventually reaching the U.S. border but remains hundreds of miles away. Migrants walked from the southern city of Tapachula to a town about 10 miles away before stopping to rest for the night, The Associated Press reported.

Summit of the Americas: US aims private funds at migration

The plan announced by Vice President Harris comes amid a boycott of the Americas summit by leaders of Central America and Mexico.

United States Vice President Kamala Harris has announced the latest effort to stem migration from Central America – $1.9bn in private-sector funding to boost job opportunities – hours before the first meetings of the US-hosted Summit of the Americas were set to get under way.

The funding announced on Tuesday from 10 companies adds to $1.2bn Harris had secured last year from the private sector in her role as the lead in the administration of President Joe Biden in addressing the root causes of migration from Central America.

Biden Accelerating Obama’s Push for a ‘Woke’ Military, Undermining Combat Readiness, Analysts Say

As the U.S. military rolls out its new Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), which imposes different physical standards and requirements for men and women, longtime defense analysts and observers say that the military’s push for diversity and inclusion—a trend that accelerated under President Barack Obama and that the Biden administration aggressively carries forward—undermines combat training and readiness.

“The Biden administration has assigned priority to diversity, inclusion, and equity as the primary criteria. That is a key decision and from it flows everything else that is problematic” in the military today, said Elaine Donnelly, founder and president of the Center for Military Readiness, a public policy organization in Livonia, Michigan.

Donnelly views the Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan 2021 released by the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) as providing a good measure of the new priorities. The plan’s “Strategic Objective 2” is “Educate USSOCOM professionals and leaders to help facilitate and sustain a diverse and inclusive culture.” Another of its goals is to “Increase hiring rates of diverse applicants.”

The plan sets forth a far-reaching plan “to address and remediate bias” and calls diversity and inclusion “a strategic imperative” numerous times in the course of just 20 pages, Donnelly noted.

Filibuster-Proof Democrat Bill Would Place 1,000 Percent Tax on Many Semiautomatic Firearms

Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) has unveiled a bill that, if picked up by Democrat leaders, would place a 1,000 percent tax on certain types of firearms and would be immune to GOP filibuster in the Senate.

Beyer’s bill comes in the wake of a deadly shooting in Uvalde, Texas, that left 19 children and two adults dead. The shooting re-energized efforts among liberals to pass wide-ranging restrictions on purchasing and possessing several types of firearms.

One such bill, the “Protecting Our Kids” Act, was pushed through the House Judiciary Committee in a party-line vote last week. It is expected to come to the floor for a vote later this week.

That bill, among other provisions, would ban the sale of “any semiautomatic centerfire rifle or semi-automatic centerfire shotgun that has, or has the capacity to accept, an ammunition feeding device with a capacity exceeding 5 rounds” to citizens below the age of 21; currently one only needs to be 18 to buy such a weapon.

It would also codify the Department of Justice’s controversial ban on bump stocks, a weapon modification that increases the fire rate of a semiautomatic firearm.

In addition, it would also make it a federal crime to possess weapons that critics have pejoratively labeled “ghost guns,” usually describing homemade or 3D-printed weapons without a serial number.

However that bill, like most bills Democrats could put forward, is likely to founder in the Senate, where all legislation must overcome a 60-vote filibuster threshold before it can go to the floor for a simple majority vote.

Beyer’s bill, which would place a 1,000 percent excise tax on the sale of several semi-automatic weapons, is designed to bypass the filibuster threshold completely.

While the bill would not place an outright ban on weapons targeted by Democrats, the tax could make them unaffordable for average Americans.

Currently, AR-15s—the weapon most targeted by Democrats—range in price from $400 on the low end to $2000 on the high end. If Beyer’s bill were passed by the Senate, it would increase the cost to $4,000 on the low end all the way up to $20,000 or more.

Embattled Moderates Ask Pelosi to Split Up Judiciary-Passed Omnibus Gun Control Bill

A group of 21 vulnerable House Democrats, led by Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-Va.), has penned a letter to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) requesting that a Democrat-favored omnibus gun control package be separated into individual measures.

The “Protecting Our Kids” omnibus gun control package was advanced by the House Judiciary Committee during an emergency hearing on June 2.

That legislation, among other provisions, would ban the sale of “any semiautomatic centerfire rifle or semi-automatic centerfire shotgun that has, or has the capacity to accept, an ammunition feeding device with a capacity exceeding 5 rounds” to citizens under 21; currently one only needs to be 18 to buy such a weapon.

It would also codify the Department of Justice’s controversial ban on bump stocks, a weapon modification that increases the fire rate of a semiautomatic firearm.

It would also make it a federal crime to possess weapons that critics have pejoratively labeled “ghost guns,” usually describing homemade or 3D-printed weapons without a serial number.

In total, eight bills are included in the package.

In their letter to Pelosi, Spanberger and her Democratic colleagues asked Pelosi to “not combine these bills into one large package.”

“Rep. Spanberger and her colleagues who signed this letter look forward to moving all of these measures forward, and they believe that each merits its own vote,” a spokesperson for Spanberger told another media outlet. “The American people expect action, and they deserve to see which proposals can move forward, as well as which specific proposals GOP lawmakers are refusing to support.”

In the letter, all 21 Democratic signatories emphasized their support for every measure in the package, but suggested that it’s unrealistic to think the legislation could win sufficient bipartisan support if kept in one package.

“While we wish every Member of Congress in the House and Senate would join us in supporting all these bills, we know that is not our current reality, and given the composition of the U.S. Congress, we know we must have bipartisan support for bills we want to become law,” Spanberger wrote. “As Members of the majority party, we must make a good faith effort to invite our colleagues across the aisle to join us in debating the merits of each bill and in voting for each bill.”

Biden Invokes Defense Production Act to Push Green Agenda

President Joe Biden will authorize the Defense Production Act (DPA) to advance his clean energy and climate change agenda, a senior administration official said during a call with reporters.

According to the White House, the president will approve the use of the DPA to expand domestic output of clean energy technologies, including solar panels, heat pumps, transformers, and equipment for utilizing electricity-generated fuels, such as fuel cells and electrolyzers.

By invoking the DPA, manufacturers of solar panels and other green technologies will receive grants and loans.

In addition, the president will employ federal procurement to support greater U.S. solar manufacturing capacity, which will involve “master supply agreements” and “super preference status.” The former consists of companies accelerating the sale of their products to the federal government, while the latter applies domestic content standards for federal procurement that are “consistent with the Buy American Act.”

In the meantime, Biden will institute a 24-month tariff exemption for solar panels created in Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Obtaining cells and modules duty-free, according to the senior administration official, will ensure the U.S. maintains access to enough solar modules to satisfy current electricity generation needs.

Five Proud Boys indicted on seditious conspiracy charges

The new charges were added Monday against former chairman Enrique Tarrio and four other alleged leaders of the group.

A federal grand jury returned a new indictment on seditious conspiracy charges Monday against five accused Proud Boys leaders – upping the ante in one of the Justice Department’s most high-profile Jan. 6 cases.

The five defendants in the case – Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Nachary Rehl, Dominic Pezzola and former Proud Boys chairman Enrique Tarrio – were all previously facing charges of conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding. Nordean, Biggs, Rehl and a fourth defendant, Charles Donohoe, were indicted last March. Pezzola, who was charged separately a week after the Capitol riot, and Tarrio were added to the case in March. Donohoe pleaded guilty in April to two counts of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding and assaulting a federal officer.

In the new indictment, prosecutors accuse the men of conspiring to forcefully “prevent, hinder and delay” laws governing the transfer of power, including the 12th Amendment. Seditious conspiracy, like the two previous counts of conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding the men also face, carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison.

In the indictment and previously filed court documents, prosecutors say Nordean, Biggs, Rehl and other defendants repeatedly talked about their desire for violent conflict if former President Donald Trump lost the election. In one message posted on social media two days after the election, Biggs allegedly wrote, “It’s time for f***ing War if they steal this s***.” In another post, Nordean allegedly wrote, “The spirit of 1776 has resurfaced.”

Prosecutors allege on Jan. 6, Tarrio – who was not in D.C. at the time because of an arrest on weapons charges but is accused of coordinating Proud Boy operations remotely – had a nine-page document titled “1776 Returns” laying out a plan to occupy “crucial buildings” in D.C.

Obama Approved Accusing Russia of DNC Hack Before FBI Received DNC Server Images

President Barack Obama approved a statement by the U.S. intelligence community in October 2016 accusing Russia of stealing emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC), despite the U.S. government not having obtained the DNC server images crucial to ascertaining whether Moscow was involved in the theft.

FBI emails recently made public during the trial against now-acquitted DNC attorney Michael Sussmann show the bureau was still in the process of requesting images of the DNC servers on Oct. 13, 2016. The server images, which are equivalent to a virtual copy of the alleged crime scene, were taken by private cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike.

On Oct. 7, six days before CrowdStrike agreed to mail the server images to the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a statement accusing Russia of hacking U.S. political organizations and disseminating emails allegedly stolen through the hack. The statement was approved and encouraged by Obama, according to then-DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson.

“The president approved the statement. I know he wanted us to make the statement. So that was very definitely a statement by the United States government, not just Jim Clapper and me,” Johnson told the House Intelligence Committee in June 2017, referring to then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper.

The DHS, ODNI, and the office of Barack Obama did not respond to requests for comment.

The Oct. 7, 2016, statement said that the U.S. intelligence community, which is composed of more than a dozen agencies including the FBI, was “confident that the Russian Government directed the recent compromises of e-mails from US persons and institutions, including from US political organizations.”

“The recent disclosures of alleged hacked emails on sites like DCLeaks.com and WikiLeaks and by the Guccifer 2.0 online persona are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts,” the statement said.

The lack of server images at the time the statement was released highlights the question of what the intelligence community used to establish Russia’s involvement.

DeSantis Criticizes Biden’s Move to Force Gender Ideology by Cutting Off School Lunch Funding

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has criticized President Joe Biden’s move to seize school lunch program funding to further what DeSantis characterized as “woke gender ideology.”

“In Florida, we are fighting against Biden’s intentionally destructive policies like denying school lunches for states that refuse to implement woke gender ideology in the schools,” DeSantis said in a June 5 Twitter post.

It came as the Biden administration is stripping funding for public school lunch programs over what it called “discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,” to be in line with the White House’s anti-LGBTQI policy.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced early in May that public schools must prohibit such discrimination—which would require certain schools to allow transgender youth to use gender-designated bathrooms of their choice—to secure federal funding from the National School Lunch Program. State and local agencies, program operators, and sponsors that receive funds must investigate relevant allegations, the department said, without mentioning the consequences for disobedience.

The free-and-reduced price meal programming, which is to ensure low-income students receive necessary nutrition, provides lunches for more than 30 million students nationwide as of 2016, according to government figures.

“I mean, give me a break!” DeSantis said in a video alongside his Sunday post, adding Biden is “totally off his rocker to be doing that.”

Elon Musk Says Twitter Is ‘Resisting’ Terms of Deal, Threatens Termination

Elon Musk is accusing Twitter of “resisting and thwarting” his ability to obtain information about bot accounts on the social media website, saying that it’s a “breach” of the terms of their April deal.

Musk, the world’s richest person, sent a letter to the San Francisco-based firm on June 6.

“Mr. Musk reserves all rights resulting therefrom, including his right not to consummate the transaction and his right to terminate the merger agreement,” the letter reads.

Several weeks ago, the Tesla CEO accused Twitter of allowing a significant number of automated or “bot” accounts on the platform and demanded that the company release that data to him.

In late April, Twitter’s board and Musk jointly announced that he would purchase the social media company for $44 billion and take it private. The deal could take months to finalize, and Musk has publicly stated that it’s not entirely confirmed that he’ll actually buy Twitter.

After the letter was released on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s website, shares of Twitter dropped 1.5 percent.

“As Twitter’s prospective owner, Mr. Musk is clearly entitled to the requested data to enable him to prepare for transitioning Twitter’s business to his ownership and to facilitate his transaction financing,” the letter reads. “To do both, he must have a complete and accurate understanding of the very core of Twitter’s business model—its active user base.

State Officials Fight Wall Street to Protect Pensioners From ESG ‘Scam’

Treasurers work to expose what they consider a misuse of state retirement funds

After failing to advance their agenda by passing laws in Congress, progressives have found that they can impose their will on Americans just as effectively through our financial system. And while some state officials have recently started to fight back, they are heavily outgunned.

The world’s largest asset managers, BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard, have signed on to the global Net Zero Asset Management Initiative and together use the $20 trillion of other people’s money that they manage to pressure companies whose shares they own into pursuing environmental and social-justice causes. Progressive state pension fund managers in California, New York, Maryland, and even Texas are doing the same with the trillions in retirement funds that they manage.

The various elements of this ideology have come together under the umbrella of “environmental, social and governance” finance (ESG), and its advocates now include the world’s largest banks, asset managers, pension funds, rating agencies, proxy agents, as well as numerous international corporate clubs including Climate Action 100+, the Global Investors Statement to Governments on Climate Change, the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative, and the Glasgow Financial Alliance for Net Zero.

ESG also has the support of the Biden Administration’s Securities and Exchange Commission, which announced it will require all listed companies to provide extensive reporting on their greenhouse gas emissions. It has the support of the Department of Justice, which just declared it would focus on “environmental justice,” and the Department of Labor, which announced it will no longer enforce a Trump-era regulation that barred private pension managers from including political causes such as ESG in their investment decisions.

The collective goal of these groups is to leverage their financial power to enforce the behavior that they want to see, targeting in particular fossil fuel producers and the gun industry. “Behaviors are going to have to change,” BlackRock CEO Larry Fink stated in a panel discussion last March. “You have to force behaviors and, at BlackRock, we are forcing behaviors.”

BlackRock is the world’s largest asset manager, with $10 trillion in assets under its management. In his 2022 letter to CEOs, Fink wrote that “every company and every industry will be transformed by the transition to a net zero world.” Bloomberg News reported that ESG financial assets are growing exponentially and will reach $50 trillion by 2025, representing more than one-third of the $140 trillion in assets under management worldwide.

But some state officials see the ESG movement as a misuse of money that was entrusted to asset managers by pensioners. A study by the Boston College Center for Retirement Research reported that ESG investing reduced the returns to pensioners by 0.70 to 0.90 percent per year, largely because ESG investment funds, which are actively managed, charge higher fees than non-managed index funds. This means higher profits for asset managers, less money for retirees.

Gas Station in California Nears $10 per Gallon

A gas station in the Northern California town of Mendocino is reportedly charging nearly $10 per gallon, making it the most expensive gas station in the country, as fuel prices continue to climb nationwide.

As locan ABC affiliate KFSN-30 in Fresno, California, reported:

Schlafer’s Auto Repair is selling regular gas for $9.60 for a gallon.

But that’s not the worst part, if your car requires plus then you’ll have to shell out $9.69 and if you need supreme, well, get ready to pay $9.91 for just a gallon of gas.

According to GasBuddy, it’s the most expensive gas in the country.

That is far higher than the state average of $6.371 as of Tuesday, which is the highest in the country; nationwide, the average is $4.919, according to the American Automobile Association.

There are many reasons for the high price — such as the fact that Mendocino is fairly remote, and that California as a whole pays higher prices due to hight taxes and a relative lack of refineries.

The owner, Judith Schlafer, explained further to SFGate.com:

Running a small town, independent gas station is “a real hard business,” said Schlafer. Because she buys in comparably small quantities compared to high-volume stations in the city or places like Costco and Safeway, the price she pays, she says, has gone “sky high.” For years, she said, she carried up to $80,000 in debt for the Chevron gasoline she was buying. “I said, ‘I can’t keep going like this.’” Now she prices it to pay for a truckload in 10 days.

Another contributor to the high costs, she says, is the fact that her station sells only gas and offers basic maintenance, like wiper replacements and brake light repairs. Other stations, she notes, have convenience stores. “It’s really hard up here to stay in business,” Schlafer said. “I don’t have a convenience store to mark up the food and the trinkets.” At one point, she said, she was offered the opportunity to attach a convenience store to the station, but it would have cost $100,000. She didn’t have it, she said.

She professed to be surprised that her gas station was the most expensive in the country, and said she could not afford to lower her price.

Lettuce shortage forces KFC to offer cabbage in Australia

KFC has been forced to make menu changes again in Australia, as the fast food chain is hit with shortages of key ingredients. This time it’s lettuce.

The company posted a notice on its local website this week telling customers it would add cabbage to some of its products because lettuce crops around the country had been destroyed by recent floods.

“We’re using a lettuce and cabbage blend on all products containing lettuce until further notice,” it said, citing a shortage following high waters in New South Wales and Queensland.

The change will affect KFC restaurants in those states, as well as Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania, and is expected to cover items such as its Zinger Burgers and Crunch Twister wraps.

Earlier this year, KFC in Australia even struggled to secure its most important ingredient: fresh chicken.

Axon pumps the brakes on taser drone it said could take down mass shooters

Axon, maker of the Taser, said yesterday that it’s pausing its controversial plan to make Taser-equipped drones to take down mass shooters. The hard pivot comes after Axon founder and CEO Rick Smith announced last week that the security company would start development of drones that could be operated by first responders and potentially used in schools to avoid another shooting like the recent one in Uvalde, Texas.

What changed? Axon’s ethics board, a group of experts in tech, privacy, and policing, sparred publicly with Smith over the idea, arguing that the drones could be used to over-police communities of color. Nine members resigned yesterday over the drone plan.

In explaining the mass exodus, the board released a statement saying it had “lost faith in Axon’s ability to be a responsible partner.”

Zoom out: This isn’t the first time Axon has pitched the idea of a weaponized drone. It wanted to run a police pilot program utilizing the tech, but the board voted against it a few weeks ago. In 2016, Smith even wrote a companion graphic novel exploring how the drone could stop a shooter.—

Cancer Trial Using Monoclonal Antibody Finds Remission in Every Patient: Report

A cancer trial has reportedly become the first in the world to completely remove the disease in every patient, according to a study published Sunday in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The study, titled “PD-1 Blockade in Mismatch Repair—Deficient, Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer” was conducted among 12 rectal cancer patients, all of which had a “clinical complete response,” according to the authors, led by Dr. Andrea Cercek of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York City.

Doctors have been unable to see any evidence of tumors among the patients when using magnetic resonance imaging, fludeoxyglucose F 18 injections, physical examinations, or via endoscopic evaluations, according to researchers.

Furthermore, the patients continued to show no signs of cancer during follow-ups ranging from 6 to 25 months and have not had to undergo surgery or receive radiation and chemotherapy.

“No adverse events of grade 3 or higher have been reported,” the authors noted.

Specifically, the rectal cancer patients were given dostarlimab, a monoclonal antibody, every 3 weeks for 6 months. The patients had mismatch repair-deficient stage two or three rectal adenocarcinomas, a type of cancer.

The median age of the patients enrolled was 54 years and 62 percent were women.

Typically, such cancer patients would have needed to undergo often debilitating treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery and in extreme cases, be fitted with colostomy bags.

However, after taking dostarlimab, which is sold under the brand name Jemperli, no cases of progression or recurrence were reported in the patients who underwent the study.

Dostarlimab is already approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in the treatment of adult patients with mismatch repair-deficient recurrent or advanced solid tumors. Rectal cancer is an off-label use, according to Medscape.

Counting Cancerous Lymph Nodes May Be Best Predictor of Mortality, Study

A study conducted by researchers from Cedars-Sinai has found that the simple process of counting how many lymph nodes (LNs) are cancerous may be the best option to determine cancer patient’s disease outlook and mortality for 16 major cancers.

“Count the number of metastatic [cancerous] lymph nodes,” co-author Assoc Prof. Zack Zumsteg said. “We found that this simple process is much better for determining prognoses for solid tumors than all the other factors used today.”

The study found that the quantitative method of counting the number of lymph nodes that have cancer cells is the best predictor of determining the cancer stages of patients for 16 cancers, with the 16 cancers examined: lung, breast, kidney, colon, stomach, prostate, skin, thyroid, pancreas, cervix, esophagus, hepatobiliary [liver and its associate organs], head and neck, bladder, ovary, and endometrium cancer.

Cancer staging is determined by a doctor during or not long after a cancer diagnosis, with the patient assigned to stages from 1 to 4 with stage 1 having the most optimistic outlook for patients and stage 4 being the most critical.

The three key areas the doctors may look at will be the primary tumor called tumor staging, the LNs around the primary tumor known as lymph node staging (LN staging), as well as the presence of secondary tumors formed from cells in the primary tumor named metastasis staging.

Gray Hair Isn’t Necessarily Inevitable: When It Is and Isn’t Reversible

Many people dye their hair as soon as they start seeing gray hair. However, there is no need to worry, as some people’s graying is reversible.

Did you know? Human hair is originally white. Before it emerges from the scalp, melanocytes inject melanin into the hair cells that contain keratin, giving the hair the different colors that we see. Keratin is the protein that makes up hair, nails, and skin. And there are two types of melanin: pheomelanin (responsible for ginger and red shades) and eumelanin (responsible for brown and black shades).

As we age, our body’s melanin production gradually decreases, causing hair to turn gray and white. According to the Library of Congress, after the age of 30, the chance of growing gray hair increases by 10 percent to 20 percent every decade.

Dr. Yishan Tsai, director of the Department of Dermatology at Jingyan Clinic, pointed out that this process of graying is due to aging, so after the age of 30, the emergence of a few gray hairs is totally normal.

However, there are some factors that can turn people’s hair gray earlier or grow more gray hair than people of the same age:

  • Premature graying

Premature graying is the emergence of gray hair in Caucasians before the age of 20, in African Americans before the age of 30, and in Asians before the age of 25. Premature graying is due to genetics. Dr. Tsai recalled a patient whose hair was a 30 percent white while was still in high school.

‘Toxic Legacy’ — How Glyphosate Destroys Your Health

Glyphosate is a very efficient metal chelator. This, in turn, disrupts your gut microbes because it makes minerals unavailable to the microbes. Your gut microbes need those minerals, as their enzymes depend on them for proper functioning

There’s a strong correlation between the rise in celiac disease over time and the rise in glyphosate usage on wheat, which is the primary culprit in celiac disease

Glyphosate may worsen the adverse effects of vaccines, in part because it binds very efficiently to aluminum used as an adjuvant in certain vaccines. Live virus vaccines that do not contain aluminum adjuvant have also been found to be contaminated with glyphosate

Non-GMO crops such as oats, wheat, barley and legumes like chickpeas and lentils tend to be very high in glyphosate because these crops are sprayed with glyphosate right before harvest as a desiccant to speed the drying process

Glyphosate also disrupts the shikimate pathway, both in plants and microbes, and beneficial microbes are particularly sensitive to glyphosate

Monkeypox Mania

Lock yourselves down inside your homes! Break out the masks and prophylactic face-shields! Switch off what’s left of your critical faculties and prepare yourselves to “follow the Science!” Yes, that’s right, just as the survivors of The Simulated Apocalyptic Plague of 2020-2021 were crawling up out of their Covid bunkers and starting to “build the world back better,” another biblical pestilence has apparently been unleashed on humanity!

This time it’s the dreaded monkeypox, a viral zoonotic disease endemic to central and western Africa that circulates among giant pouched rats, squirrels, dormice, and other rodents and has been infecting humans for centuries, or millennia. Monkeypox causes fever, headaches, muscle aches, and sometimes fluid-filled blisters, tends to resolve in two to four weeks, and thus poses absolutely zero threat to human civilization generally.

The corporate media do not want to alarm us, but it is their duty as professional journalists to report that THE MONKEYPOX IS SPREADING LIKE WILDFIRE! OVER 100 CASES OF MONKEYPOX have been confirmed in countries throughout the world! MONKEYPOX TASKFORCES are being convened! Close-up photos of NASTY-LOOKING MONKEYPOX LESIONS are being disseminated! The President of the United States says “EVERYBODY SHOULD BE CONCERNED!”

Bill to let 12-Year-Olds Get Vaccine Without Parental Consent Could be Voted on in California Assembly This Week

In California, children between the ages of 12 and 18 cannot go to the doctor without their parent’s consent. Children aren’t allowed to enroll themselves in school without a parent. Children can’t even sign up for the local soccer team without a parent. They can’t open a bank account without a parent. They cannot drive until age 16. Children can’t vote until age 18. They aren’t even allowed to administer cold medication to themselves at school.

But one thing they can do without their parent’s consent, is decide to get a deadly HPV Gardasil vaccine, thanks to a bill signed into law by then Governor Jerry Brown back in 2011. A common side effect of the Gardasil vaccine is becoming infertile and never being able to bear children.

This week, the California Assembly is set to vote on another bill that allows children as young as the age of 12 to make their own decision without their parents’ consent to receive a vaccine, this time the experimental COVID-19 shot that has already killed and maimed many thousands of children in the U.S.

There have already been 37,301 cases of deaths and injuries for children between the ages of 12 and 18 following COVID-19 vaccines, which only covers one year since they were approved for 12 to 15-year-olds in May of 2021. (Source.)

About 12% of those cases in the United States have happened in the State of California, with 3,809 cases, with Texas a distant second with 2,039 cases reported in children between the ages of 12 and 18. (Source.)

Doctors Suing Food and Drug Administration Over Ivermectin

A Washington law firm has filed a federal lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for interfering with the use of ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.

The lawsuit was filed by Boyden Gray & Associates on behalf of three doctors who were disciplined for prescribing human-grade ivermectin to patients.

The firm’s founder, attorney Boyden Gray, is a former legal adviser to the Reagan and Bush administrations.

Gray told The Epoch Times that the FDA had violated well-established law that allows doctors to prescribe an FDA-approved drug as an off-label treatment.

Ivermectin was no different, he said. It was approved by the FDA in 1966.

“Congress recognized the importance of letting doctors be doctors and expressly prohibited the FDA from interfering with the practice of medicine,” Gray said.

“That is exactly what the FDA has done time and time again throughout this pandemic, assuming authority it doesn’t have and trying to insert itself in the medical decisions of Americans everywhere.”

The three plaintiffs in the case are Dr. Paul Marik of Virginia, Dr. Mary Bowden of Texas, and Dr. Robert Apter of Arizona.

Marik is a founder of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care 21 Alliance (FLCCC), a national nonprofit that promotes alternative COVID-19 treatments to the government-touted vaccine.

“The FDA has made public statements on ivermectin that have been misleading and have raised unwarranted concern over a critical drug in preventing and treating COVID-19,” Marik told The Epoch Times. “To do this is to ignore both statutory limits on the FDA’s authority and the significant body of scientific evidence from peer-reviewed research.”

According to Marik, more than 80 medical trials conducted since the outbreak of COVID-19 show that ivermectin is a safe and effective treatment for the virus.

Gray said the FDA has engaged in unlawful interference with the use of ivermectin and should be held accountable for that.

The lawsuit included several statements made by the FDA that Gray said show that the administration interfered with the use of ivermectin.
