Trump signs order limiting migrant asylum at U.S.-Mexico border
Reuters  – President Donald Trump on Friday signed a proclamation that effectively will suspend the granting of asylum to migrants who cross the U.S. border with Mexico illegally for up to 90 days. The order, which goes into effect on Saturday, means that migrants will have to present themselves at U.S. ports of entry to qualify for asylum. Immigrant advocates say the administration has deliberately slowed the processing of migrants at official ports, forcing them to wait for days or weeks to request protection.

Marine combat veteran kills 12 in rampage at California bar
KSLA News – Terrified patrons hurled barstools through windows to escape or threw their bodies protectively on top of friends as a Marine combat veteran killed 12 people at a country music bar in an attack that added Thousand Oaks to the tragic roster of American cities traumatized by mass shootings.
Dressed all in black with his hood pulled up, the gunman apparently took his own life as scores of police converged on the Borderline Bar and Grill in Southern California.
The motive for the rampage late Wednesday night was under investigation.
The killer , Ian David Long, 28, was a former machine gunner and Afghanistan war veteran who was interviewed by police at his home last spring after an episode of agitated behavior that authorities were told might be post-traumatic stress disorder.

Shocking Video Footage Shows Florida Ballots Transported By Private Vehicles Being Transferred Into A Rental Truck On Election Night
Infowars – I do not have any explanation for what you are about to see.  On election night in Broward County, one deeply concerned citizen captured video footage of ballots that had been transported by private vehicles being loaded into a rental truck in the middle of a parking lot.  Nobody seems to know why the ballots were transported in that manner, why they were being loaded into a rental truck, or what happened to the ballots thereafter.  There are supposed to be very strict chain of custody requirements for all paper ballots, and obviously what is going on in this video appears to be extremely shady.  Could it be possible that somebody in Broward County was trying to steal an election?
This video has caused quite a stir since it was posted on YouTube, and the following comes directly from the video’s description
“Caught On Video: Concerned citizen sees ballots being transported in private vehicles & transferred to rented truck on Election night. This violates all chain of custody requirements for paper ballots. Were the ballots destroyed & replaced by set of fake ballots? Investigate now!”

Governor Rick Scott warns ‘rampant fraud’ possible in Broward, Palm Beach counties
Fox – Gov. Rick Scott’s Senate campaign is suing the Broward County elections supervisor to turn over records regarding how ballots are being counted.
During a news conference Thursday night, Scott accused election officials in Broward and Palm Beach counties of trying to thwart the will of the voters, as recounts seem likely for several statewide races.
Scott said he is ordering the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate elections offices in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Scott told reporters: At the end of election night, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office said 634,000 votes had been cast.
By 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the office reported 712,040 ballots counted with an unknown number of ballots remaining.
Under Florida law, a recount is mandatory if the winning candidate’s margin is less than 0.5 percentage points.

Trump blasts ‘dishonesty’ in Florida counties where Democratic officials are ‘finding votes out of nowhere’ to help Bill Nelson overturn his loss to Republican Rick Scott – and tells Georgia Democrat fighting loss in governor’s race to ‘move on’
Daily Mail: President Donald Trump lashed out at a Democratic Florida election official on Friday, suggesting that ‘dishonesty’ could play a role in changing the result of the state’s U.S Senate election, which Republican Gov. Rick Scott won by a narrow margin.
Trump tweeted on his way to France about that race and one in neighboring Georgia, snarking about Democrats’ efforts to change unfavorable results.

Florida teacher finds ‘provisional ballot box’ in storage area
NY Post – A teacher in Florida found a container labeled “Provisional Ballot Box” in a storage area of her elementary school on Thursday.
Lakeisha Williams, of Broward County, said she discovered the ballot box two days after Election Day at Miramar Elementary School — where it was apparently left behind by election workers.
“I went into the area that we use for storage and saw it in there,” Williams told The Post.
Williams said she did not touch or look inside the box. Instead, she told the school’s principal and they decided to contact a local state representative.

Gillum un-concedes?
NY Post – All eyes were on Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum on Thursday, as vote margins in Florida’s close contests for governor and Senate tightened.
Gillum’s campaign stoked intrigue by releasing a statement about “counting every vote” — but not explicitly asking for a recount.
On Tuesday night, Gillum conceded in his race against Republican Ron DeSantis and his team was clear Wednesday that it hadn’t met the threshold to trigger an automatic recount.
The Gillum statement said that since the concession speech “it has become clear there are many more uncounted ballots than was originally reported. Our campaign, along with our attorney Barry Richard, is monitoring the situation closely and is ready for any outcome, including a state-mandated recount.”

Antifa expands its hit list as political violence escalates
Washington Times – When a mob of left-wing antifa activists descended Wednesday night on Fox News personality Tucker Carlson’s D.C. home, it signaled a new phase in the political violence and angry confrontations that now are targeting the news media.
Political violence has been rising in the U.S. since 2012, according to the Global Terrorism Database. Increasingly aggressive activists have pushed political confrontation to the limit since 2016, accosting Republican lawmakers and Trump administration officials in restaurants and in the halls of Congress. And now they’re going after conservative journalists at their homes.
Tucker Carlson, we will fight. We know where you sleep at night!” the activists allied with antifa chanted outside Mr. Carlson’s home.

Various black ops were also cunningly implemented to ensure the Democrats won the House
State of the Nation – In light of the extraordinary political successes enjoyed by President Donald Trump during his first 2 years, the midterms should have either maintained or strengthened the Republican majority in the House.
Not only did that not happen, the swing to Democratic control is quite dramatic thus far.
Why did this really take place?
REVENGE OF THE RINOS
True, it’s a stealthily coordinated conspiracy of many and diverse circumstances, which was fastidiously run by Deep State, that flipped the House so substantially.  It actually was the rogue C.I.A. that executed the various schemes to wrest control from the GOP.

Trump calls April Ryan a ‘loser,’ threatens to revoke more press credentials
The Hill- President Trump on Friday suggested he could pull press credentials from other reporters who don’t show him “respect.”
The comments come two days after the president suspended the press pass of CNN chief White House correspondent Jim Acosta after a contentious exchange during a news conference.
“I think Jim Acosta is a very unprofessional man,” Trump said.
Asked how long Acosta’s credentials will be suspended, the president replied: “As far as I’m concerned, I haven’t made that decision. But it could be others also”
Trump also went after April Ryan of American Urban Radio Networks as a “loser” who “doesn’t know what the hell she is doing.”

Nine Arrested in Alleged Voter Fraud Scheme in Texas Border Town
Breitbart – Nine individuals were arrested Thursday for their alleged roles in a 2017 voter fraud scheme involving the municipal election in a Texas border town.
These arrests were part of an ongoing investigation into a coordinated effort by political workers to recruit people who would fraudulently claim residential addresses so they could vote in specific races and influence the results of the Edinburg city election held last year, according to information provided by the Office of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Watchdog files FOIA lawsuit over records on Hillary Clinton’s security clearance
Judicial Watch – A conservative watchdog group has filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the State Department over access to records on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s security clearance status.
Filed earlier this week by Judicial Watch, the lawsuit also seeks all records related to four of Clinton’s top aides from her time leading the department.
Clinton’s security clearance was “administratively withdrawn” at “her request” on Aug. 30, according to a letter sent to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa from State Department official Charles Faulkner. Cheryl Mills, who served as Clinton’s chief of staff, and four other individuals, whose names were redacted in the letter, had their access withdrawn in September.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospitalized With 3 Broken Ribs
New York Times – Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a critical liberal voice on the Supreme Court, was hospitalized on Thursday morning with three broken ribs after falling in her office the day before.
Justice Ginsburg, 85, went home after her fall on Wednesday evening and experienced discomfort during the night, a Supreme Court spokeswoman, Kathy Arberg, said in a statement. She was admitted to George Washington University Hospital on Thursday morning for observation and treatment. Doctors found three broken ribs on her left side.
The next sitting of the Supreme Court begins Nov. 26, and Justice Ginsburg’s history suggests the injuries are not likely to keep her away.

Britain Struggles With Rise in Knife Attacks
Wall Street Journal – Mayor Sadiq Khan was speaking on Monday after a spate of four unrelated knife homicides in London in five days—the youngest victims were 15 and 17—put renewed focus on the national trend. A fifth knife killing followed that night.
With strict British laws making guns hard to obtain, knives have become the weapon of choice for members of London gangs, who youth workers say fight over territory and are prepared to kill over trivial slights. As stabbings become more frequent, more young people feel compelled to carry knives for their own protection, fueling a cycle of violence.

OPEC BREAKUP? Saudi ponders future without cartel
Wall Street Journal  – Saudi Arabia’s top government-funded think tank is studying the possible effects on oil markets of a breakup of OPEC, a remarkable research effort for a country that has dominated the oil cartel for nearly 60 years.
The effort coincides with new pressures on the Saudi government, including from the U.S., where President Trump has accused the cartel of pushing up oil prices, and from investors who distanced themselves from the kingdom after the brutal killing of a U.S.-based Saudi journalist.
While the think tank’s president, Adam Sieminski, said the study hadn’t been triggered by Mr. Trump’s statements, a senior adviser familiar with the project said it provided an opportunity to take into account the criticism from Washington. Depending on the findings, the study could offer a defense of the cartel and the Saudi role in it.
The research project doesn’t reflect an active debate inside the government over whether to leave the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries in the near term, according to people familiar with the matter.

Oil drops for a 10th day, longest losing streak in at least three decades
CNBC – U.S. crude prices fell Friday for a 10th consecutive session, sinking U.S. crude futures deeper into bear market territory and wiping out the benchmark’s gains for the year.
The 10-day decline is the longest losing streak for U.S. crude since mid-1984, according to Refinitiv data.

Wind-Driven Woolsey Fire Threatens 30,000 Homes as It Burns Toward the Ocean
NBC – Firefighters worked through the night to protect homes in the path of a fast-moving wildfire that tore through hillside brush in Ventura and Los Angeles counties, riding strong wind gusts through neighborhoods and across a major Southern California freeway.
The Woolsey fire forced evacuations in communities northwest of Los Angeles after it began Thursday afternoon amid warm, dry and windy conditions. The fire is threatening about 30,000 homes Friday morning as strong winds cast embers that ignited smaller spot fires and pushed the fire across the 101 Freeway in the Agoura Hills area.
Evacuations were ordered Friday morning for parts of Malibu south of the 101 Freeway.
“The wind-whipped conditions … this is ripe conditions for explosive fire behavior,” said LAFD Capt. Erik Scott. “This is the new normal. When we have conditions like this, when it’s such incredible wind, that brings us in to a different caliber, so it’s become a much more challenging condition.”

Record early season cold and snow have taken over the central United States
Washington Post – An unusually early blast of record cold and snow has spread across much of the central United States in recent days. Throughout north-central parts of the country, this is a continuation of a cold, stormy and early start to the winter of 2018-2019.
This onslaught of frigid air is shifting east, in a modified fashion, over the next week. It is slated to bring many places in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic the first significant wintry temperatures of the season. More early season snow may also fall along the way.
Snow with the latest storm broke out across the Rockies on Saturday. By Sunday, totals exceeding a foot were common in the higher elevations across the Intermountain West, with several inches also accumulating on the adjacent High Plains, in places such as Denver.
Through Sunday, snow spread from the mountains into the High Plains, parts of the western Great Lakes, and then into Canada. Pockets of heavy early season snowfall fell across parts of Nebraska and Kansas.
Wichita and Kansas City saw their earliest snowfall on record.

U.S. judge halts Keystone XL oil pipeline in blow to Trump, Trudeau
Reuters – A U.S. judge in Montana has halted construction of the Keystone XL pipeline designed to carry heavy crude oil from Canada to the United States, drawing a sharp rebuke on Friday from President Donald Trump.
The ruling of a U.S. Court in Montana late on Thursday dealt a major setback to TransCanada Corp (TRP.TO), whose stock dropped 2 percent in Toronto. Shares of companies that would ship oil on the pipeline also fell.
TransCanada said in a statement it remains committed to building the $8 billion, 1,180 mile (1,900 km) pipeline, but it has also said it is seeking other investors and has not taken a final investment decision.

The dangers of psychiatric drugs – are we becoming a drugged-up nation?
NaturalNews – In the news, it’s all too common to encounter a story of a horrific crime that leaves you wondering how someone could ever commit such an act. Many times, it turns out the perpetrator was taking psychiatric drugs – a trend that is especially common among mass shooters. Why are so many people taking psychiatric drugs these days, and are we becoming a drugged-up nation?
Writing in the Waking Times, Pulitzer-nominated investigative reporter Jon Rappoport says that psychiatrist have remarked to him off the record that the basis used for diagnosing and labeling mental disorders is “a rank fraud,” and it’s an open secret within the psychiatric profession. There are no diagnostic lab tests for even one of the 300 mental disorders that have been officially certified and labeled; instead, doctors shell out profitable prescriptions on the basis of how a patient answers a few questions.
Just what are the dangers of these drugs? Psychotropic drugs have been shown in studies to double the risk of suicide, and they can also make people more violent, putting countless individuals at risk who have never even touched a psychiatric medication. Some of the other side effects of these drugs include psychosis, mania, hallucinations, stroke, heart attack, suicidal ideation, and sudden death.
Rappoport characterizes the widespread overprescription of psychiatric medications as “nothing short of chemical warfare against the population.”

Our children are being exposed to 10,000 chemicals through the food they eat
NaturalNews – If you’ve ever taken the time to look over the ingredients label on food products, there’s a good chance you’ve found some words you aren’t familiar with. While many people look out for the bad ingredients that grab a lot of headlines, like high-fructose corn syrup and nitrates, there are a lot of others that seem to slip under most people’s radar. If an unfamiliar ingredient is near the bottom of the ingredients list, many people simply shrug it off and assume the product contains so little of the ingredient in question that it won’t make a big difference.
However, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is warning that many of the common additives in not just food but also packaging deserve closer scrutiny. The group recently released a policy statement and report in which they stated in no uncertain terms that many of these additives have devastating effects on people’s health – and children are especially vulnerable. They also called for the regulations governing these chemicals to be overhauled.
With more than 10,000 chemicals in the food that we eat, it simply isn’t practical to expect anyone to be able to separate the good from the bad. Therefore, the report singled out a few groups in particular, including phthalates, BPA, nitrates, PFCs, and artificial food colorings.
These chemicals’ effects on the endocrine system are particularly concerning. Phthalates and bisphenols can have a negative effect on puberty or even advance its onset, and they can also increase the risk of infertility, obesity, and other chronic conditions. Exposure to PFC, meanwhile, results in low birth weight and damages fetuses that are developing, while nitrates are linked to some types of cancer.

Researchers Find Microplastics in Stool Samples
Mercola – The suspicion that we’re consuming our own plastic pollution was recently reconfirmed when researchers discovered microplastic particles in human stool samples.
The stool samples were tested for the presence of 10 different types of plastics, of which nine were found in the samples. On average, participants had 20 microplastic particles per 10 grams of stool.
Tests reveal both tap water and bottled water contain microplastics, as does your household dust and many foods, especially seafood and sea salt, but also any food that has been stored in plastic packaging.
Research suggests microplastic may have an adverse effect on your gut microbiota; polystyrene microplastics affected the gut barrier, microbiota and metabolism of mice.
By 2050, the world’s oceans will contain more plastic than fish, and the annual release of plastics to land is estimated to be four to 23 times greater than that released into oceans

New Study: Smelling Lavender Really Can Relax You
Mercola – Anxiety is a worldwide problem, and in the U.S. it affects almost one-fifth of the adult population.1 Yet prescription treatments for anxiety are far from ideal and often present undesirable side effects.
SSRI antidepressants, often prescribed for anxiety despite questions about their effectiveness for this use,2 put patients at clear risk of suicide, mania and bipolar disorder, birth defects, weight gain and sexual dysfunction.3
When combined with other drugs, SSRIs can put patients at risk for serotonin syndrome4 and are increasingly suspected of contributing to osteoporosis.5 They’ve even been linked to a heightened risk of developing the dreaded intestinal infection, Clostridium difficile.6 Moreover, SSRI antidepressants have a “clinical effect delay” — it may take weeks for them to produce any response.”7
Benzodiazepines like Xanax, Ativan, Valium and Lorazepam, the drug class widely prescribed for anxiety, are also not ideal. On top of sedation and motor impairment, benzodiazepines put patients at risk of addiction and, according to some reports, dementia.
Moreover, they account for as many as one-third of overdose deaths. A treatment for anxiety without the side effects of SSRI antidepressants and benzodiazepines would help many.
Investigators at Kagoshima University in Japan recently studied the effect of linalool, a component of lavender oil, in mice and found a significant reduction in anxiety without impaired motor coordination. Their results appeared in the October 23 issue of Frontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience.8
How could the researchers detect anxiety in the mice they were studying? The mice were put in a “light/dark box” in which they could choose between adjoining light and dark compartments. Mice with less anxiety spent more time in the lighted chamber, engaged in “exploratory behavior” said the researchers.
The researchers also put mice treated with linalool in a maze that consisted of two “open arms” and two “closed arms.” Again, mice with less anxiety spent more time engaged in “exploratory behavior” — in this case exploring the “open arms” parts of the maze said the researchers.
