State of emergency declared in Sudan, government dissolved after military coup and PM arrest

RT – The head of Sudan’s ruling council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, has announced the dissolution of the transitional sovereign council and the government, enacting a state of emergency amid a military coup after the PM’s arrest.

In a statement delivered on Monday, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the head of a Sovereign Council of military and civilian members which runs the country, declared a state of emergency and dissolved the government.

Following the arrest of Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok and other officials by troops, Burhan stated that the military would oversee the remainder of Sudan’s transition to democracy and will hand over to a democratically elected government.

Burhan, himself a military officer, vowed to ensure that elections would take place in July 2023. The Sovereign Council had been tasked with overseeing a four-year transition to democracy after long-time leader Omar al-Bashir was removed from power in 2019 in the wake of months of civil unrest and protests.

The council leader claimed he was forced to act following months of infighting between military and civilian leaders, while some calls from politicians amounted to incitement to violence.

Alec Baldwin could face charges for fatal shot

The Western Journal – Actor Alec Baldwin could face charges for discharging a prop gun that resulted in the death of a director of photography on the set of his new movie “Rust,” according to legal experts.

But they cautioned that with key facts around the incident still in doubt, there is more to learn to determine who, if anyone, will face criminal charges.

Halyna Hutchins, 42, who was directing photography for the movie, was killed. Director Joel Souza, 48, was injured in the accident and taken to a nearby hospital.

“There are some circumstances where even a prop gun with a blank can be dangerous if it’s shot within close range,” said Neama Rahmani of the personal injury firm West Coast Trial Lawyers, according to USA Today.

“Let’s say it was loaded with a blank, but Baldwin himself was criminally negligent and shot it from close range, even though it wasn’t a live round. Then he could be held liable,” she said.

Afghan refugees to be resettled across U.S., granted thousands to buy furniture and silverware

The Western Journal – Take some refugees, please, the Biden administration is now asking veterans and private groups.

With about 55,600 Afghan refugees currently parked at military bases, the Biden administration wants to leapfrog the existing system of refugee resettlement agencies, according to CNN.

It wants to create sponsorship circles of veterans and others who will provide money for refugees to have housing, furniture, silverware and a variety of other expenses — as well as develop a resettlement plan for each refugee.

Ron DeSantis Seeks $5k Bonuses for Unvaccinated Police Officers Who Relocate to Florida

Breitbart – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) will seek to create legislation that will reward a $5,000 bonus to unvaccinated police officers who relocate to the Sunshine State in defiance of vaccine mandates.

During an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” with Maria Bartiromo, DeSantis said he is now “actively working” to recruit out-of-state police officers who have been fired or placed on unpaid leave due to their city’s vaccine mandate.

“We’re actually actively working to recruit out-of-state law enforcement, because we do have needs in our police and our sheriff’s departments. So, in the next legislative session, I’m going to hopefully sign legislation that gives a $5,000 bonus to any out-of-state law enforcement that relocates in Florida,” DeSantis said.

“So, NYPD, Minneapolis, Seattle, if you’re not being treated well, we will treat you better here. You can fill important needs for us, and we will compensate you as a result,” he added.

In the same interview, DeSantis said that President Biden’s vaccine mandates are “unconstitutional” that will “wreak havoc on the economy.”

The Free Thought Project – As reported last week, the Biden administration revealed its plan to “quickly” vaccinate roughly 28 million children, ages 5-11, before the vaccine was even approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This push to vaccinate children is in spite of the fact that children face a near-zero threat from the virus. What’s more, as Americans are quickly learning, the vaccine loses efficacy over time leading to a large number of breakthrough cases which the Centers for Disease Control can no longer sweep under the rug.

On top of breakthrough cases, there has been a record number of adverse reactions reported to the CDC, many of them include children. One of those children is Maddie de Garay, who received the Pfizer vaccine when she was 12. She is now is in a wheelchair.

The now 13-year-old was one of the 2,260 voluntary participants in the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine trial for adolescents that began in July last year and she was left with a slew of debilitating symptoms immediately following her second shot.

“Why is she not back to normal? She was totally fine before this. She did the right in trying to help everyone else and they’re not helping her,” said Stephanie de Garay, Maddie’s mother.

“All we want is for Maddie to be seen, heard, and believed because she has not been. And we want her to get the care that she desperately needs, so she can go back to normal,” she said.

For the last 8 months, Maddie’s family has been trying to get Pfizer to acknowledge the damage they claim the vaccine caused their daughter. After being ignored, for months, the family decided to run an ad on television and the Comcast network accepted it last Thursday.

The ad was slated to run multiple times before the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee met to discuss COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 5-11. If you would like to submit a comment before that meeting, you can do so at this link.

The de Garay family finally had some hope that Maddie’s story could be told so other parents know the potential risks. Unfortunately, however, just as they thought it was going to air, Comcast attorneys reportedly pulled the ad and it will not run.

The ad — which is directed toward President Biden — is hard to watch as it shows Maddie’s transformation after receiving both Pfizer jabs. Below is the script of the ad.

President Biden, this is Maddie. She’s 13 and wants to be a pediatric nurse.

When the COVID vaccine became available she volunteered to test it. She said she wanted to help other kids.

This is her now.

There are others across the country like her. They are ignored by the FDA, by the media. She believed it when they said it was safe.

Maddie stepped up to help America. Who’s going to step up for Maddie?

“She wanted to help others, to help the world get back to normal,” Stephanie said. “She now has lost the ability to walk and relies on an NG tube for all of her nutrition.”

“She received her vaccine on January 20 and came into our room in the middle of the night, she said she didn’t feel right and couldn’t sleep. She has been waiting 8 months to be acknowledged by Pfizer, the FDA, and CDC and has not even received acknowledgment from any of them, not an email, a phone call, or a text. Nothing. At least with this ad, we know that Maddie will be in the room with the decision-makers and if that can help innocent children in the future not become victims injured by the Pfizer covid vaccine then that is a win in our minds.”

“I’ve waited 7 months for Pfizer or the FDA to acknowledge what happened to my daughter and they haven’t. They tried to ignore her injuries. With these ads, she will finally have the chance to be in the room with them, to be seen by them, and for her voice to be heard,” Stephanie said when the ad was made.

Fauci: Vaccines for Kids Ages 5 to 11 Likely Available in November

Newsmax – Vaccines for kids between the ages of 5 and 11 will likely be available in the first half of November, top U.S. infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci said on Sunday, predicting a timetable that could see many kids getting fully vaccinated before the end of the year.

“If all goes well, and we get the regulatory approval and the recommendation from the CDC, it’s entirely possible if not very likely that vaccines will be available for children from 5 to 11 within the first week or two of November,” Fauci said in an interview with ABC’s This Week.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials are reviewing the Pfizer/BioNTech application seeking authorization of its 2-dose vaccine for younger children, with its panel of outside advisers scheduled to weigh in on Oct. 26.

The death by starvation of Etwariya Devi, a 67-year-old widow from the rural Indian state of Jharkhand, might have passed without notice had it not been part of a more widespread trend.

Like 1.3 billion of her fellow Indians, Devi had been pushed to enroll in a biometric digital ID system called Aadhaar in order to access public services, including her monthly allotment of 25kg of rice. When her fingerprint failed to register with the shoddy system, Devi was denied her food ration. Throughout the course of the following three months in 2017, she was repeatedly refused food until she succumbed to hunger, alone in her home.

Premani Kumar, a 64-year-old woman also from Jharkhand, met the same demise as Devi, dying of hunger and exhaustion the same year after the Aadhaar system transferred her pension payments to another person without her permission, while cutting off her monthly food rations.

A similarly cruel fate was reserved for Santoshi Kumari, an 11-year-old girl, also from Jharkhand, who reportedly died begging for rice after her family’s ration card was canceled because it had not been linked to their Aadhaar digital ID.

These three heart-rending casualties were among a spate of deaths in rural India in 2017 which came as a direct result of the Aadhaar digital ID system.

With over one billion Indians in its database, Aadhaar is the largest biometric digital ID program ever constructed. Besides serving as a portal to government services, it tracks users’ movements between cities, their employment status, and purchasing records. It is a de facto social credit system that serves as the key entry point for accessing services in India.
