Fox – Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted Israel’s offer to share detailed information about its air raid which triggered fire by Syrian forces that downed a Russian reconnaissance plane, the Kremlin said Wednesday.
 
Paraguay suspends judges over sentence for abusive priest
AP – Paraguayan authorities say they have suspended three judges who gave a priest convicted of abusing a 14-year-old a minor sentence.
A report by a special jury in charge of the prosecution of magistrates said Wednesday that judges Fabian Iglesias, Nelio Prieto and Blas Zorrilla will not be able to continue in their posts while their decision is investigated.
The judges last month found the Rev. Felix Miranda guilty of the sexual abuse of a minor. But they only gave the priest a suspended two-year jail sentence and a $800 fine, saying the evidence was thin.
 
Mexico commemorates victims of deadly quakes
AP –  Mexico on Wednesday commemorated victims of two deadly Sept. 19 earthquakes, one in 1985 that left at least 9,500 dead and another just last year that killed more than 360.
Victims’ relatives gathered at the site of a seven-story downtown office building that collapsed in last year’s magnitude 7.1 quake that killed 228 people in the capital and 141 more in nearby states.

Quintin’s reading teacher Terry Plain is now a believer, after seeing the results in her student for herself.
