Erdogan Jails His Main Rival in the 2023 Election

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan faces a tough re-election vote in six months.  His rival, the Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu, is very popular and far ahead in the polls.

Erdogan went back in time to find an obscure statement made by Imamoglu in 2019 which Erdogan used to order the Turkish courts to try Imamoglu on the charge of ‘insulting electoral officials’.

On December 14, Imamoglu was sentenced to 2 years, 7 months, and 15 days of prison, and was banned from politics.

Following his sentence, Imamoglu told his supporters, “Because this case is not a case against me. Because this case is not a party case. This case is a country case. This case is a justice case. This case is an equality case. Because we see this case as the case of leaving a strong and democratic Turkey to our children. Believe me, 2023 will be very beautiful.”

Bill Gates Plans for New Catastrophic Contagion

Over time, it’s become clear that the globalist cabal seeking to implement a one world government repeatedly tell us what they’re about to do. Table top pandemic simulations, for example, are a form of dress rehearsal

In 2017, Johns Hopkins Center of Health Security held a coronavirus pandemic simulation called the SPARS Pandemic 2025-2028 scenario. In October 2019, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in collaboration with Johns Hopkins and the World Economic Forum hosted Event 201

As in the SPARS Pandemic scenario, Event 201 involved an outbreak of a highly infectious coronavirus, but the primary (if not sole) focus of the exercise was how to control information and keep “misinformation” in check, not how to effectively discover and share remedies

October 23, 2022, Gates, Johns Hopkins and the World Health Organization cohosted “a global challenge exercise” dubbed “Catastrophic Contagion,” involving a novel pathogen called “severe epidemic enterovirus respiratory syndrome 2025” (SEERS-25), which primarily affects children and teens

Enterovirus D68 is typically associated with cold and flu-like illness in infants, children and teens. In rare cases, it’s also been known to cause viral meningitis and acute flaccid myelitis, a neurological condition resulting in muscle weakness and loss of reflexes. The virus they modeled in the Catastrophic Contagion simulation appears to be something similar to enterovirus D68, but worse

‘Time to Drain the Swamp’ – Orban Says ‘Everyone Knew’ EU was Corrupt Before Scandal

Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán says the massive corruption scandal in the European Union should be used as an opportunity to “drain the swamp” in Brussels.

An ongoing corruption scandal at the heart of the European Union has seen a Vice President of the European Parliament arrested, among others, and the offices of two human rights organisations shuttered, as Belgian law enforcement probe officials possibly being paid off as part of an influence operation by the sharia-governed State of Qatar, which is hosting the still-ongoing World Cup.

Messi Leads Argentina to World Cup Victory Over France

Lionel Messi led Argentina to overcome a French rally from Kylian Mbappe’s hat trick for Argentina’s third World Cup victory in a penalty shoot-out following a 3–3 draw in extra time, on Dec. 18 in front of 88,966 fans at Lusail Stadium in Lusail City, Qatar.

Argentina won its first World Cup since Diego Maradona’s 1986 victory in dramatic fashion, dominating the first half, controlling the midfield, and shutting out France from any shots, maintaining 60 percent of the possession while scoring two goals on six total shots.

Messi was awarded the Golden Ball (player of the tournament), bolstering the argument that he is the greatest player in the sport’s history by winning his first World Cup—in his fifth appearance. Messi had been heavily criticized for Argentina’s lack of success during Messi’s tenure.

American tourists stranded in Machu Picchu as deadly unrest sweeps Peru

Deadly unrest in the wake of a political crisis has left a number of American tourists stranded in Peru.

Hundreds of international travelers, including some Americans, were stuck in and around the historic city of Machu Picchu as the government raced to secure transport to the nearest airport this weekend. Photos and eyewitness accounts suggest protesters had placed rocks on train tracks leading to the Inca citadel.

Solo traveler Brian Vega, a Miami-Dade fire rescue captain, told NBC News he had been visiting the ancient mountainous town but found himself stuck when the train lines to the airport were shut.

“We’re isolated here,” he said. “The only way in is via train or the other case would be a helicopter.” Vega added that he was considering hiking to the nearest town to get to the airport.

Federal Agency Warns ‘Major’ Winter Storm to Hit US This Week

A major winter storm is slated to hit much of the United States and will threaten to impact Americans’ Christmas travel plans, according to federal forecasters.

The National Weather Service (NWS) wrote on Dec. 18 that a “major storm system is forecast to impact much of the Nation leading up to Christmas Eve, with widespread gusty winds, areas of heavy rain and heavy snow, as well as bitter cold in its wake.”

Judge Rules Kari Lake May Inspect Some Maricopa County Ballots

A judge overseeing an Arizona electoral lawsuit ruled on Friday that GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake may appoint an inspector to analyze a small selection of Maricopa County ballots cast in the 2022 midterm election.

The inspection may begin on Dec. 20, unless Lake’s lawsuit is dismissed beforehand, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson said in his ruling.

Lake, who filed a lawsuit on Dec. 9 (pdf) seeking to overturn the election for Arizona’s governor, petitioned the court to inspect a random selection of ballots cast in different Maricopa County voting centers on Nov. 8.

The lawsuit alleged that “hundreds of thousands of illegal ballots infected the election in Maricopa County.”

Bryan Blehm, Lake’s attorney, stated in his petition to see the ballots that Lake “cannot properly prepare for trial without such an inspection.”

The trial date is set for Dec. 20.

Maricopa County Files Motion to Dismiss Kari Lake’s Election Lawsuit

Attorneys for Maricopa County, Arizona, on Thursday asked a judge to toss GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake’s lawsuit that alleged the Nov. 8 election was botched and she should be declared the victor or a new vote should be carried out.

In a motion filed (pdf) Thursday, lawyers for Arizona’s most populous county said Lake’s lawsuit is based on “pure speculation about what might have happened” during Election Day. Claims in Lake’s lawsuit are “insufficient for a court to reduce the vote totals in the official certification and alter the outcome of the election,” the motion further said.

Allegations in Lake’s election challenge, meanwhile, do not “support finding that she is entitled to be awarded enough votes to change the outcome of the election,” Maricopa County’s lawyers wrote. Her team does not “show even a single illegal vote, any erroneous count of votes, or that the Defendant election officials engaged in any misconduct in the administration of the election” in the lawsuit, Maricopa lawyers said.

Texas Gov. Abbott Calls on Courts to Uphold Title 42 Border Rule

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott expressed alarm Sunday about a surge in crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border if a key immigration policy, Title 42, is allowed to expire this week and called on courts to step in.

Abbott said that public health concerns should prompt courts to intervene and prevent the policy from expiring. Former President Donald Trump implemented Title 42 in early 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“If the courts don’t intervene and put a halt to the removal of Title 42, it’s going to be total chaos,” Abbott told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. “Whether it’s COVID or some other issue, when you have people coming across the globe without knowing at all what their health status is, that almost by definition is a public health risk. There’s every reason to keep that in place.”

Last week, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Title 42 is still set to expire on Wednesday, Dec. 21. Abbott and other Republicans said that illegal border crossings are expected to increase after that.

A coalition of 19 Republican-leaning states was pushing to keep the asylum restrictions. Under the rule, illegal immigrants have been denied the ability to seek asylum under U.S. and international law 2.5 million times since March 2020 on grounds of preventing the spread of COVID-19.

North Carolina Supreme Court Blocks Voter ID Law Over ‘Discriminatory Intent’

North Carolina’s top court has upheld the permanent block against a voter identification law, finding that lawmakers enacted it with “discriminatory intent.”

More African American voters lack the identification required under the law, Senate Bill 824, and a previous voter identification law was determined to be unconstitutional for that reason. That was part of the reason a panel of North Carolina judges used to conclude in September 2021 that Senate Bill 824 ran afoul of the equal protection clause in North Carolina’s Constitution. The clause states that “no person shall be denied the equal protection of the laws; nor shall any person be subjected to discrimination by the State because of race, color, religion, or national origin.”

In a narrow 4–3 ruling on Dec. 16, the North Carolina Supreme Court upheld that earlier conclusion.

Jan. 6 Defendant Conspired to Kill FBI Agents: Filing

A man who allegedly entered the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, is now being accused of conspiring to kill FBI agents.

Edward Kelley, 33, has been charged with conspiracy, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, and other charges, according to a criminal complaint unsealed on Dec. 16.

Kelley, of Tennessee, had been free on personal recognizance after being arrested and charged in May with crimes related to the Capitol breach, including assault, destruction of government property, and disorderly conduct.

According to the new complaint, Kelley had identified dozens of law enforcement personnel involved in the investigation into him. A witness who later approached authorities in Maryville was part of a meeting between Kelley and Austin Carter, another Tennessee man, on Dec. 3. During the meeting, Kelley stated that they were going to “mainly conduct recon missions and assassination missions,” according to the witness.

Kelley allegedly asked Carter, 26, and the witness to gather intelligence on the personnel on the list. To do so, Kelley allegedly told the witness to “reach out to your cop buddies.” He allegedly asked the witness if he owned guns, and when the witness answered affirmatively, he said it was good that the witness wanted to get a magnifier as the group would do “more long distance things.”

The witness “understood KELLEY’s statements to be referring to assassinations,” according to the complaint.

DHS Redacted Critical Details About ‘Anti-Disinformation’ Activities: Sens. Grassley, Hawley

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has neglected to provide in full certain disclosures requested by members of the U.S. Senate relating to the department’s growing role in “counter-disinformation” activities, and this failure is particularly egregious in light of the co-equal roles of the executive and legislative branches of the government, two senators have charged in a Dec. 15 letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) charge the DHS with ignoring or downplaying their “serious concerns” about the DHS’s “growing counter-disinformation efforts” as conveyed previously in a letter of June 7, which formally requested “information necessary to inform our congressional oversight of DHS activities.”

El Paso Mayor Declares Disaster over Migrant Border Surge, End of Title 42

The mayor of El Paso declared a disaster “due to a humanitarian, security, and economic crisis resulting from a mass migration” through the city. The declaration comes as thousands of migrants continue to cross from Mexico into the city in advance of the end of the Title 42 protocol expected on Wednesday.

Freezing temperatures in the city of El Paso are in the forecast for the coming week while hundreds of migrants camp out on the streets. The surge of migrant crossings, only expected to increase following the termination of the Title 42 migrant removal protocol on Wednesday, led El Paso Mayor Oscar Lesser to declare a state of disaster.

Democrat Mayor Declares ‘Emergency’ Over 0.01% of Biden’s Record-Breaking Illegal Immigration Arriving in Denver

Denver, Colorado Mayor Michael Hancock (D) has declared a state of emergency over 0.01 percent of President Joe Biden’s record-breaking number of illegal immigrants arriving in the city.

Days ago, Hancock issued an emergency as fewer than 650 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in Denver in recent weeks after being released into the United States interior by the Biden administration.

Job Gains This Year Overstated by 1.1 Million, Philadelphia Fed Reveals

Labor data might have been overcounted by as much as 1.1 million jobs earlier this year, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia revealed in a new quarterly report.

According to the regional central bank’s second-quarter “Early Benchmark Revisions of State Payroll Employment” report (pdf), researchers’ estimated employment changes that occurred between March and June were different in 33 states and the District of Columbia from data published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

During this period, Philadelphia Fed researchers found that there were higher adjustments in four states, lower changes in 29 states and the nation’s capital, and lesser revisions in the remaining 17 states. This included a 4.1 percent drop in payroll employment in Delaware and a 1.2 percent decrease in jobs in New Jersey.

As a result, employment gains might have been overcounted by more than 1.1 million.

Musk Says Auto Loans Could Be Source of ‘Biggest Financial Crisis Ever’

The automotive financing market may be under stress as several experts call for a massive wave of repossessions in early 2023, with prominent figures such as Tesla founder Elon Musk and Ark Invest’s Cathie Wood sounding the alarm about the potential effects on financial markets.

“Potentially the biggest financial crisis ever,” Musk posted on Twitter on Dec. 16 in response to a tweet by Wood and a series of tweets from the CEO of a car dealer group about the potential auto loan crisis.

Reports by the anonymous Twitter account CarDealershipGuy revealed an “extremely alarming” trend among auto lenders. The CEO behind the account claimed that many lenders are ignoring red flags associated with loan applicants who are already “underwater” on a prior auto loan.

“This morning, I discovered something *extremely* alarming happening in the car market, specifically in auto lending,” CarDealshipGuy, who authors a newsletter for auto market insights, wrote on Twitter, catching many people’s attention.

“I’m now convinced that there is a massive wave of car repossessions coming in 2023.”

He went on to explain that many people had no choice but to buy a costly car during the pandemic. He said car values have been falling recently, with some dropping by nearly 30 percent year over year.

“And these same people that took out these big loans are now ‘underwater.’ Basically, they owe banks more on these cars than they are worth,” he stated, adding that the banks are well-aware of the problem.

Rare Double-Monthly SSI Payments Worth $1,755 Set to Arrive in 2 Weeks

Those who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) are slated set to receive their second of two December payments in about two weeks, totaling $1,755 in SSI benefits for the month.

Recipients will get a payment of $914 on Dec. 30 after they got $841 on Dec. 1, according to the Social Security payment schedule (pdf). Managed by the Social Security Administration, the SSI program provides monthly payments to people who have low income, and who are blind or disabled.

Generally, SSI payments are issued one time per month, but December is one of three months in 2022 where payments are sent out twice in a single month, the schedule shows. The reason why is due to a technicality because some months start on a Sunday

However, it does not mean that an SSI recipient is receiving more payments, the schedule shows. The SSI payment sent out on Dec. 1 is replacing the one that would have been sent on Jan. 1, 2023. No SSI checks are going out in January because the month starts on a Sunday.

Next year, recipients are slated to receive double payments in March, June, September, and December, according to the administration’s 2023 schedule.

Epic Games fined $520 million in FTC’s Fortnite privacy case

The Federal Trade Commission has fined Epic Games, maker of the popular Fornite video game, more than half a billion dollars to settle allegations of privacy violations and unwanted charges.

Driving the news: The fines, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, amount to “the largest penalty ever obtained for violating an FTC rule,” per the commission.

  • The FTC also alleged Epic Games used “dark patterns,” or design tricks, to “dupe millions of players into making unintentional purchases,” per a release from the agency.

Details: Epic will pay $275 million for violating the COPPA rule, and in a provision the FTC says is the first of its kind, Epic will be required to required to “adopt strong privacy default settings for children and teens, ensuring that voice and text communications are turned off by default.”

  • The FTC alleged that Epic knew children were playing Fornite and collected data from them without parental consent and that its default settings were harming young users.
  • Epic will also pay $245 million to refund customers for its “dark patterns and billing practices,” which the agency says is its largest refund for a gaming case and biggest administrative order in history.
  • The FTC says Epic “ignored more than one million user complaints and repeated employee concerns that ‘huge’ numbers of users were being wrongfully charged.”

Twitter Files 6 Shows ‘Deep State’ Went Deeper Than Just FBI-Twitter Collusion

News Analysis

The latest episode of Twitter’s internal files on content crackdowns paints a picture of a censorship machine that not only worked hand-in-glove with the FBI but also received content-related flags and action requests from a tangled web of state agencies, private contractors, and government-affiliated NGOs, shedding new light on the depths of the “deep state.”

The files were released Friday by journalist Matt Taibbi with Elon Musk’s endorsement, and serve to bolster claims that Big Tech colluded with a network of entities—including government agencies—to suppress Americans’ free speech.

Musk, who after taking over Twitter in late October promised to release internal files on “free speech suppression,” has since granted access to the trove of documents to several individuals—Taibbi, journalist Bari Weiss, and author Michael Shellenberger—who have been releasing them in tranches dubbed the “Twitter Files.”

Episode six of the Twitter Files, elaborated on in detail by Taibbi, was shared on Dec. 16 by Musk.

Children Should Be ‘Really Careful’ on TikTok, App Is ‘Genuinely Troubling’: CIA Director

William Burns, the director of CIA, has warned about children being potentially harmed by spending time on TikTok and talked about the dangers posed by the app that is owned by a China-based company.

In a recent interview with PBS, Burns was asked about his recommendation to people regarding their kids’ usage of TikTok.

“I’d be really careful,” he replied.

When asked if he would add anything more, Burns responded, “No, really careful.” He said it was “genuinely troubling” how the Chinese government is able to manipulate TikTok.

“Because the parent company of TikTok is a Chinese company, the Chinese government is able to insist upon extracting the private data of a lot of TikTok users in this country, and also to shape the content of what goes on to TikTok as well to suit the interests of the Chinese leadership. I think those are real challenges and a source of real concern,” he said.

Same-Sex Marriage Act Gives Government ‘Broad New Power’ to Target Religious Believers, Experts Say

Experts are warning that the recently approved Respect for Marriage Act could end up being used to target and suppress people of Christian and other traditional faiths.

The Respect for Marriage Act was passed by the Senate in a 61–36 vote on Nov. 29, and by the House of Representatives in a 258–169 vote on Dec. 8. The bill, signed into law by President Joe Biden on Dec. 19, repeals the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act signed by President Bill Clinton that had defined marriage as being between a man and a woman, thereby recognizing marriage between members of the same sex.

In an interview with NTD’s Capitol Report, Matt Sharp, senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), raised concerns that the Respect for Marriage Act is so broad that it could easily be weaponized against a large segment of the population.

The bill gives “broad new power to the federal government to be able to go after religious organizations and people of faith that hold to the view that marriage is between one man and one woman,” he said.

For instance, faith-based adoption providers that try to place children in a home with a married mother and father could be punished by the government under the law, Sharp noted.

“It opens the door for private lawsuits against these organizations. So an activist group like the ACLU could utilize the Respect for Marriage Act to bring costly federal lawsuits against these organizations because of their beliefs,” he said, adding that even if some of these organizations win, “the very process of being dragged into court is the punishment.”

Vitamin D: The Pac-Man of Viruses, Bacterial Infections, and Cancer Cells

In a fascinating study conducted at the University of Copenhagen, researchers found that vitamin D is essential in order to activate the body’s immune system. Without it — or with insufficient levels — the immune system’s killer T cells can’t fight off serious infections and instead remain unheroically dormant. But with sufficient levels of vitamin D, these T cells spring into action, do what they’re designed to do, and gobble up viruses, harmful bacteria, and can even destroy cancer cells.

According to Professor Carsten Geisler (Department of International Health, Immunology and Microbiology): “When a T cell is exposed to a foreign pathogen, it extends a signaling device or ‘antenna’ known as a vitamin D receptor, with which it searches for vitamin D. This means that the T cell must have vitamin D or activation of the cell will cease. If the T cells cannot find enough vitamin D in the blood, they won’t even begin to mobilize.”

The Critical Importance of Vitamin D

Make sure you know the signs of vitamin D deficiency

The importance of maintaining optimal levels of vitamin D can’t be overstated.

Vitamin D regulates the expression of hundreds of genes and is integral to biological functions that affect every bodily system. Vitamin D insufficiency or deficiency can trigger several generalized symptoms that you may have associated with other health conditions.

It’s also called the sunshine vitamin since your skin makes vitamin D when exposed to ultraviolet light from the sun. Vitamin D performs many functions within the body, including maintaining adequate levels of calcium and phosphate, essential for normal bone mineralization.

It helps reduce inflammation, which is necessary for the modulation of cell growth and immune function. Vitamin D also affects genes that help regulate cell differentiation and apoptosis (programmed cell death).

Signs of Deficiency

It’s essential to maintain healthy levels of vitamin D to help reduce your risk of viral and bacterial illness during cold and flu season when respiratory illnesses are prevalent, or if you’re immune-compromised and want to build your natural defenses against other infections.

A blood test is the best way to determine your vitamin D levels, but here are some symptoms that may indicate your levels are low:

Aching Muscles

Painful bones

Fatigue

Reduced Muscle Performance

Brain Health

Poor Sleep

Sweaty Head

Hair Loss

Slow-Healing Wounds

Dizziness

Heart Problems

Excess Weight

Recurring Infections

Reduced Cognitive Function

Vitamin D Could Help Extend Your Life

People genetically predisposed to vitamin D deficiency are 25% more likely to die from any cause compared to those with different genetics conducive to healthy vitamin D levels

Researchers with the University of South Australia also revealed that vitamin D deficiency increases the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, respiratory diseases and cancer

The more severe the vitamin D deficiency, the greater the risk of mortality became

For the study, low levels of vitamin D were defined as less than 10 ng/ml (25 nmol/L), which is a severe deficiency state; higher levels of 60 to 80 ng/ml are likely necessary for optimal health and longevity benefits

Strive to get your vitamin D from healthy sun exposure; higher levels of vitamin D may serve as a marker for sun exposure, which in turn may be responsible for many of the beneficial health effects attributed to vitamin D

How the Wrong Dietary Fat Can Wreck Your Health

Omega-6 linoleic acid (LA) is the most common fat in the American diet. Most people get 25 times more LA than they need. At most, you need about 2 grams a day, but the average American gets about 50 grams a day, thanks to the fact that most processed foods and condiments are loaded with omega-6 seed oils

LA gets incorporated into your cell membranes where it causes inflammation. Its half-life is nearly two years, so ridding your body of stored LA completely can take up to seven years

Eliminating LA is a marathon, not a sprint. Ineffective and potentially harmful ways of eliminating LA include extended fasting and overtaxing your body with strenuous endurance exercise

To stop the accumulation of LA in your cells, eliminate seed oils from your diet. Cook with beef tallow, butter, ghee or coconut oil, and avoid all processed foods, restaurant foods, condiments, and animals raised on grains, such as chicken and pork

Vitamin E, in a dose of about 2 IU – 3 IU for every gram of PUFA (not just linoleate) consumed daily may also be able to provide some protection against the inflammatory and endocrine (estrogenic, pro-cortisol) effects of linoleate and PUFA in general

To safely encourage the elimination of LA from your body, focus on building muscle and maximizing lean muscle mass with concentric exercise, and eat a balanced diet with a ratio of 2-to-1 healthy carbs to protein

Sulfur Consumption Reduces Risk of Death

A large epidemiological study found people who took glucosamine supplements daily had a reduced overall mortality to the degree that is conferred by regular exercise

One contributing factor may be the sulfate in the supplement. Stephanie Seneff, senior research scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, calls sulfur an “unappreciated deficiency” and proposes it may be central to heart disease, muscle wasting and altered glucose metabolism

Bone broth and Epsom salt baths are simple and effective strategies to naturally boost your sulfur levels; each also has other health benefits

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a sulfur donor widely used in the treatment of arthritic pain and known to reduce inflammation, balance reactive oxygen species and modulate your immune response

Breakfast or Late-Night Snacks — Which Should You Give Up?

Evidence shows that calories are burned differently when they are consumed at breakfast or late at night; breakfast is better

More energy is stored, and less fat is burned when you eat a late-night snack, which contributes to weight management challenges

Several factors contribute to weight loss, and being within normal weight doesn’t necessarily mean you’re healthy

The terms “metabolically obese normal-weight” and “skinny-fat” describe individuals who are normal weight, but whose bodies operate as though they were metabolically fat

A combination of cyclical ketosis with intermittent fasting helps support mitochondrial health and lowers your risk of several chronic diseases

Twitter Censorship Contributed to Destructive Pandemic Policies and Is Criminal, Says Former White House COVID Adviser

The recently revealed censorship that has plagued Twitter in recent years is “criminal,” according to former White House COVID adviser Dr. Scott Atlas, as it allowed “lies to be imposed on the public” during a pandemic that wrought untold damage worldwide.

“When correct science policy is blocked, people die, and people died from the censorship,” Atlas, a special coronavirus adviser during the Trump administration and contributor to The Epoch Times, said in an interview.

The Elite, Expensive Colleges Are Still Mandating The Vaccine — And Their Students Have Had Enough

Elite colleges universities across the country are imposing COVID-19 bivalent vaccine mandates on students returning to campus for the spring 2023 semester.

Yale University, Fordham University, Harvard University, University of Notre Dame, Tufts University and Wellesley College all require students to receive a bivalent booster shot, which protects against the original and omicron variant, in order to return to campus after winter break, the schools announced. However, some students are opposing the schools’ continued reliance on mandates.

Notre Dame students are required to submit proof of their bivalent shot or granted exemption to continue enrollment for the 2023-2024 academic year, according to its website. The mandate applies to all undergraduate, graduate and professional students, even if they are “studying or performing or researching remotely.”

FBI Handed Twitter ‘Unacceptable’ List of Names for Censorship: Ex-DoD Official

Twitter was censoring American citizens at the same time that Chinese intelligence agents were employed at the company and officials of the Chinese regime were given uncensored use of the social media platform, John Mills, former Director of Cybersecurity at the Defense Department, told The Epoch Times’s sister media NTD Television in an interview on Dec. 10.

“This is a de-facto social credit system whether the FBI was calling it or not. They were handing lists of names into Twitter and seeking the censorship of American citizens, which is unbelievable. Unacceptable,” Mills said on the “China in Focus” program aired on Wednesday.

Mills was responding to censorship information that was revealed after Twitter’s new owner, Elon Musk, released the “Twitter Files” revealing the former management of the social media platform has “secret blacklists.”

“MSS [Ministry of State Security] agents, Chinese Foreign Intelligence Agents were working at Twitter and Twitter didn’t care. Jack Dorsey didn’t care. The number one priority of the FBI should be the foreign intelligence threat inside of America,” Mills said, adding that instead of handing down a list of American citizens to be censored, the FBI should have immediately arrested the MSS agents.
