Russian Missiles Strike Kyiv as G-7 Leaders Meet in Europe

Russian missiles struck an apartment block and close to a kindergarten in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Sunday as world leaders gathered in Europe to discuss further sanctions against Moscow.

Up to four explosions shook central Kyiv in the early hours, in the first such attack on the city in weeks.

“The Russians hit Kyiv again. Missiles damaged an apartment building and a kindergarten,” said Andriy Yermak, head of the president’s administration.

A Reuters photographer saw a large blast crater near a playground in a kindergarten that had smashed windows.

Deputy Mayor Mykola Povoroznyk said one person was killed and six wounded. He said explosions heard later in other parts if Kyiv were air defenses destroying further incoming missiles.

Canada’s Coercive COVID-19 Mandates a ‘Tragic Error’: Former Ontario Chief Medical Officer

Canada’s public health agency made a “tragic error” by grounding its COVID-19 response policies on coercion rather than persuasion, which was a key medical principle that had been thrown away during the pandemic, according to Dr. Richard Schabas, a former Ontario chief medical officer of health.

Schabas, who served as Ontario’s top doctor from 1987 to 1997, said on June 24 that the public health principle that he practiced for decades was “based on persuasion, not coercion,” and would hardly resort to legal powers in medical interventions.

He said that governments’ COVID-19 vaccination mandates have backfired, as instead of meeting the intention of getting more people vaccinated, they have resulted in more people being turned away in the long run.

“By polarizing the issue, by making it a question of coercion, they’ve taken a group of people—many people who would have been persuaded to take the vaccine—and lock them down as being opposed to vaccines because they don’t want to be forced,” he said.

“I think that’s a tragic error.”

Schabas made the remarks during the Citizens’ Hearing panel, an independent inquiry that scrutinizes the impacts of COVID-19 mandates and restrictions on Canadians. Panelists include former Reform Party leader and MP Preston Manning, retired Ontario pediatrician Dr. Susan Natsheh, and David Ross, president of the Canadian COVID Care Alliance, which co-hosted the three-day event that concluded on June 24.

Norway mourns as memorial service for victims of Oslo shooting held

Norway’s prime minister and members of the royal family joined mourners at a memorial service in Oslo Cathedral for the victims of a shooting in the capital’s nightlife district.

A gunman opened fire in central Oslo’s bar area on the night between Friday and Saturday, killing two people — a man in his 50s and another in his 60s — and wounding more than 20 others.

The Norwegian security service called the attack an “Islamist terror act” during the capital’s annual LGBT+ Pride festival.

The suspect will be held in pre-trial custody on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, and terrorism for four weeks, a Norwegian court said on Monday.

He was named by the court as Zaniar Matapour, a 42-year-old Norwegian citizen originally from Iran.

WHO Determines Monkeypox Not an International Public Health Emergency ‘at Present’

The World Health Organization (WHO) has determined that the outbreak of monkeypox across multiple countries does not constitute a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) “at present,” according to WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and the International Health Response (IHR) Emergency Committee.

In the meeting statement, released on June 25, the WHO determined that monkeypox is currently not at the extent that establishes a PHEIC, which is defined as an “extraordinary event” that constitutes public health risks to other states through international transmission and requires a coordinated international response.

Some members of the WHO committee dissented, though the majority agreed with this decision.

How Bad Will the Food Shortage Get?

It’s becoming increasingly clear that severe food shortages are going to be inevitable, more or less worldwide, and whatever food is available will continue to go up in price

The cost of agricultural inputs such as diesel and fertilizers is skyrocketing due to shortages — caused by a combination of intentional and coincidental events — and those costs will be reflected in consumer food prices come fall and next year

Mysterious fires, alleged bird flu outbreaks and other inexplicable events are killing off livestock and destroying crucial infrastructure. Since the end of April 2021, at least 96 farms, food processing plants and food distribution centers across the U.S. have been damaged or destroyed

The global food price index had risen 58.5% above the 2014-2016 average as of April 2022, due to a convergence of post-pandemic global demand, extreme weather, tightening food stocks, high energy prices, supply chain bottlenecks, export restrictions, taxes and the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Combined, all of these factors set us up for guaranteed food shortages, food inflation and, potentially, famine in some places, so now is the time to prepare

UN Chief Warns of Food Shortage ‘Catastrophe’

The head of the United Nations warned Friday that the world faces “catastrophe” because of the growing shortage of food around the globe.

“There is a real risk that multiple famines will be declared in 2022,” U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in a video message to officials from dozens of rich and developing countries gathered in Berlin. “And 2023 could be even worse.”

Guterres noted that harvests across Asia, Africa, and the Americas will take a hit as farmers around the world struggle to cope with rising fertilizer and energy prices.

“This year’s food access issues could become next year’s global food shortage,” he said. “No country will be immune to the social and economic repercussions of such a catastrophe.”

Guterres said U.N. negotiators were working on a deal that would enable Ukraine to export food, including via the Black Sea, and let Russia bring food and fertilizer to world markets without restrictions.

He also called for debt relief for poor countries to help keep their economies afloat and for the private sector to help stabilize global food markets.

Biden Accidentally Reveals Very Specific Cheat Sheet Reminding Him How to Act

A cheat sheet giving U.S. President Joe Biden specific instructions on how to behave was captured on camera during a June 23 conference.

The 79-year-old president unintentionally held up the pre-written staff notes, titled “Offshore Wind Drop-By Sequence of Events” at a White House meeting with wind-industry executives. The snapped sheet contains a list of bullet points, which begin by telling Biden to “enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to participants.”

Next, the instruction reads “YOU take YOUR seat.”

The president should also give two-minute comments after reporters arrive, as the paper instructs, and ask AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler, joining virtually, one question after the press departs. Ignoring the guidance, Biden spoke for over seven minutes at the event.

The notes end with “YOU thank participants” and “YOU depart.”

This is not the first time the 46th president inadvertently flashed his note card to reporters and photographers. Last July, Biden was seen alerted by an aide to remove a speck from his chin via a handwritten message during a live-streamed event at the White House.

The president was spotted in March carrying a cheat sheet containing possible tough questions with potential responses on Vladimir Putin, after he previously stated in Poland that the Russian leader “cannot remain in power,” causing confusion as to whether the United States was seeking to topple the Russian regime. He also confused Iran with Ukraine in his first State of the Union speech amid the Russian invasion.

A host of Biden’s so-called gaffes since he took office have also drawn fire from Republicans and raised further suspicions over his mental well-being. Almost 40 Republican lawmakers requested in a February letter that the president take a cognitive test, which is beyond “a partisan issue,” following the example set by former President Donald Trump.

Rioters Smash Windows, Write Graffiti Threats During Roe v. Wade Protests in Portland

Rioters in Portland, Oregon, were seen smashing windows and committing numerous acts of vandalism downtown on Saturday night and early Sunday in connection to the Supreme Court’s ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade.

The group can be seen in photos and videos scrawling numerous messages on the sides of buildings, targeting the Supreme Court and making pro-abortion comments. Footage also showed the individuals partaking in the riots wearing all black, a color that’s often employed during Antifa riots.

According to a flyer that was obtained by KOIN-TV, they were encouraged to wear “all black,” a term often used during the 2020 riots in Portland that went on for more than 100 days and nights.

In a news release on Sunday morning, the Portland Police Bureau said that “officers were monitoring the crowd, but did not have resources to intervene in the moment.”

“At the time of this event, there was an injury shooting and a stabbing in East Precinct, and a felony assault in Central Precinct,” the release continued. “Additionally, a community festival in North Precinct was underway, an impromptu ‘dance party’ drew approximately 1,000 people to Irving Park, and they held a march and blocked traffic. There were also calls about speed racers doing stunts in various parts of Portland.”

No arrests were made during riots, according to the Portland Police Bureau in a Sunday morning update, but it added that “just because arrests are not made at the scene, when tensions are high, does not mean that people are not being charged with crimes later.”

As the group left the area on Saturday night, officers confirmed that windows were broken at several banks and coffee shops.

“A pregnancy resource center was vandalized,” the police department said. “Officers are working to contact affected business owners and assist with arrangements to secure the buildings. Efforts are already underway to get graffiti removed.”

“Individuals who engage in violent activity or property destruction will be investigated and are subject to arrest and prosecution. That does not always happen in the moment. We will continue to conduct follow-up investigations, make arrests, and forward cases to the Multnomah County District Attorney for prosecution,” said the bureau in its release.

Senators Call on Biden to Use ‘Full Force of Federal Government’ to Stop Abortion Restrictions

More than 30 senators requested that President Joe Biden use the “full force of the federal government” to stop states from preventing abortions after Roe v. Wade was overturned last week by the Supreme Court.

The letter was signed by 34 lawmakers, including Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.).

“We call on you to combat these attacks and take immediate action to use the full force of the federal government to protect access to abortion in the United States,” their letter states (pdf).

They continued, “There is no time to waste: nearly half of the states already had laws in place to ban abortion or severely restrict access as soon as the Supreme Court decision came down” and that “many states enacted those laws immediately, and at least a dozen are set to follow suit in the coming days and weeks,” referring to trigger laws and laws that were previously signed into law restricting abortions in a number of states.

On Friday, the Supreme Court in a 5–4 opinion argued that legislatures—not courts—have the power to pass laws to enable or restrict abortions. Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito noted that the Constitution contains no references to abortion.

“We end this opinion where we began. Abortion presents a profound moral question,” he wrote, in part (pdf). “The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority,” referring to the 1992 decision, Planned Parenthood v. Casey, which was also struck down Friday. “We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives.”

Infamous Jan. 6 Crutches Were Stolen from Injured 18-Year-Old at Capitol

The now-infamous crutches that appeared multiple times at the mouth of the tunnel entrance to the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, were stolen from a young man with a broken ankle, according to podcaster Steve Baker.

Baker, who blogs and podcasts as the Pragmatic Constitutionalist, learned the story of the stolen crutches while on a speaking tour in Texas.

“At one particular meet-up, and in casual discussion after one of those meetings,” Baker told The Epoch Times, “a young lady mentioned to me that it was her own brother’s crutches that had become a central feature at the Capitol’s west side tunnel skirmish.”

The crutches were at various times on Jan. 6 used as a weapon and a shield. They were memorialized most vividly in photos of protester Luke Coffee holding up one crutch over his head as he stood between police and the raucous crowd.

Prosecutors allege Coffee used the crutch to attack officers, but he says his only intention was to be a buffer between the groups after protesters became trapped in a pile after a stampede out of the tunnel.

It’s Now Crucial to Understand What We’re Up Against

It’s become absolutely crucial to understand what we’re up against, globally, and who’s responsible for the rising totalitarianism and their ultimate intention

The COVID pandemic was a coup d’état by the technocratic cabal that is behind the global takeover agenda, referred to as The Great Reset

The Great Reset was introduced by the World Economic Forum, which is tightly coupled to the United Nations and the World Health Organization. Their agenda is to implement a global type of totalitarianism based on technocratic and transhumanist ideologies. Part of that plan also includes reengineering and controlling all life forms, including humans

While the outward expression of technocracy will appear as totalitarianism, the control center is not an individual. Rather than a single person ruling by the decree, technocracy relies on control through technology and algorithm. This is a very important difference. In short, there will be no individual to blame or hold accountable. The “dictator” is an algorithm

Technocracy is an invented and unnatural form of economics that expresses itself as totalitarianism and requires social engineering to work. Technocrats in the past defined technocracy as the science of social engineering. Controlling the populace is crucial for the system to function

Rep. Liz Cheney Soliciting Votes From Democrats

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) is starting to ask Democrats to switch parties and vote for her, as she faces a tough primary battle with a candidate endorsed by former President Donald Trump.

Cheney’s campaign website recently added a section that asks and answers questions about voting.

It notes that voters must be registered as a Republican to vote for Cheney in the Aug. 16 primary.

“How do I change my party affiliation to register as a Republican so I can vote for Liz?” the website states, before telling voters how to change their affiliation.

Under Wyoming law, voters can submit an application by mail to change their party up to 14 days before an election. They can also change their affiliation while at a polling place on the day of the primary election.

Cheney’s campaign has also been mailing forms that outline how to change parties to Democrat voters, Joseph Barbuto, the chairman of the Wyoming Democratic Party, told The New York Times.

Barbuto himself got one in the mail.

“I haven’t had any Republicans share online or tell me that they received it,” Barbuto told the paper.

In February, Cheney said that she would not undertake such an effort.

“That is not something that I have contemplated, that I have organized or that I will organize,” she said at the time.

“Liz Cheney told the New York Times that she wouldn’t be encouraging Democrats to raid the Republican primary, but I guess the drive to hold onto power is just too strong for her to keep her word,” Carly Miller, campaign manager for lawyer Harriet Hageman, who is challenging Cheney in the primary, told The Epoch Times in an email.

“What Cheney doesn’t understand is that Democrats will drop her like a bad habit after she’s no longer useful to them on the January 6th Committee. She’s in No Man’s Land—Democrats just see her as a temporary tool, while Republicans are fed up with her completely,” Miller added.

Cheney’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment

Biden Signs Gun Control Bill Into Law

President Joe Biden on June 25 signed into law the biggest gun control measure introduced in the United States in decades, after the bipartisan bill cleared both houses of Congress.

“I was there 30 years ago, the last time this nation passed meaningful gun safety laws, and I’m here today for the most significant law to be passed since then,” Biden said at a June 25 press conference at the White House.

The legislation, called the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, passed the House on June 24 in a 234–193 vote following Senate approval a day earlier.

Key provisions of the bill include expanding federal background checks for buyers between the ages of 18 and 21, incentives for states to adopt so-called red flag laws, expanding access to mental health programs, and enhancing school security in a bid to prevent mass shootings.

“While this bill doesn’t do everything I want, it does include actions I’ve long called for that are going to save lives,” Biden said.

The legislation comes on the heels of mass shootings in Buffalo, New York, which left 10 people dead, and Uvalde, Texas, where 21 people were fatally shot, including 19 children. Both gunmen were 18 years old.

“At a time when it seems impossible to get anything done in Washington, we are doing something consequential,” the president said.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) both support the bill.

The Latest Tragedy: Sudden Adult Death Syndrome

In recent weeks, media outlets around the world have started highlighting a medical phenomenon called “sudden adult death syndrome,” or SADS, in what appears to be a clear effort to obscure the reality of COVID jab deaths. Sad on steroids indeed.

Underlying factors for SADS include undiagnosed myocarditis, inflammatory conditions and other conditions that cause irregularities in the electrical system of the heart, thereby triggering cardiac arrest.

While SADS has been known to occur previously, what’s new is the prevalence of this previously rare event. In Australia, the Melbourne Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute is setting up a new SADS registry “to gain more information” about the phenomenon.

Data compiled by the International Olympic Committee show 1,101 sudden deaths in athletes under age 35 between 1966 and 2004, giving us an average annual rate of 29, across all sports. Meanwhile, between March 2021 and March 2022 alone—a single year—at least 769 athletes have suffered cardiac arrest, collapse, and/or have died on the field, worldwide.

Among EU FIFA (football/soccer ball) athletes, sudden death increased by 420 percent in 2021. Historically, about five soccer players have died while playing the game each year. Between January and mid-November 2021, 21 FIFA players died from sudden death.

FBI Raids Home of Retired Texas Couple Who Attended Jan. 6 Capitol Rally

A retired Texas couple says FBI agents on June 22 broke through the gate of their rural home, threw flash-bangs, handcuffed them, and trained lasers on them before searching their home for evidence connected to the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the Capitol.

Lora DeWolfe and Darrel Kennemer, who live on seven acres near San Marcos, Texas, told The Epoch Times they attended the Jan. 6 rally at the Capitol but did nothing wrong. They believe the FBI mistakenly identified Kennemer as someone else.

The FBI didn’t arrest them, they said. Agents eventually produced a search warrant saying Kennemer was suspected of “assaulting, resisting or impeding” officers and “entering restricted building or grounds.”

Both said they went no farther than the Capitol steps on Jan. 6 and didn’t harm anyone or damage anything. They said the allegation of assault was false, and the FBI kept showing Kennemer a blurry photo of a man who looked similar but wasn’t Kennemer.

Military Doctor Facing Discharge for Giving Exemptions to COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

A U.S. military doctor has been reprimanded and could be discharged because of his opposition to the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

U.S. Army Maj. Samuel Sigoloff, a doctor, was ordered to stop seeing patients because of concerns that he was disseminating misleading information about the COVID-19 vaccines, according to documents reviewed by The Epoch Times.

Sigoloff was later found to have referred to COVID-19 as the Wuhan COVID-19 virus and to have counseled patients against COVID-19 vaccination.

He contests the findings, but believes his military career is likely over, according to his attorney.

New Monkeypox Study Holds Possible Clue to Fast Spread of Virus

A new study into monkeypox holds a possible clue as to why the virus is spreading so quickly, with researchers saying they have discovered that the virus contains an unusually high number of mutations, which may represent “accelerated evolution.”

The new monkeypox strain was found to have an average of 50 mutations in samples examined by Portuguese researchers, while only around 10 would normally be expected, according to the new peer-reviewed study, published on June 24 in the medical journal Nature Medicine.

The unexpectedly high number of genetic variations in the currently spreading monkeypox variant suggests that the virus may be fast-adapting, with possible implications for transmission speed.

“Our data reveals [sic] additional clues of ongoing viral evolution and potential human adaptation,” the research team wrote in the study.

Oath Keepers FBI Interviews Contradict Indictment Charges

May 2021 interviews with Indiana leader say there was no plan to attack U.S. Capitol or interfere with transfer of power

An Indiana Oath Keepers leader who was in charge of security operations for the group in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 24 on five counts related to violence at the U.S. Capitol.

Michael Greene, 39, of Indianapolis, was arrested in Indiana on a warrant from Washington. An indictment unsealed June 24 charges Greene with conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of an official proceeding (aiding and abetting), conspiracy to prevent an officer from discharging any duties, entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds, and tampering with documents or proceedings (aiding and abetting).

Greene was added to a superseding indictment against seven other Oath Keepers, including Donovan Crowl, Sandra Parker, Bennie Parker, Laura Steele, Connie Meggs, William Isaacs, and James Beeks.

Greene, who also goes by the name Michael Simmons, is not accused of seditious conspiracy, a charge leveled in a different indictment against nine Oath Keepers, including the group’s founder, Elmer Stewart Rhodes III.

Rhodes and his eight co-defendants were named in the latest 13-count superseding indictment unsealed in Washington, also on June 24. The other defendants in the seditious conspiracy case include Kelly Meggs, Kenneth Harrelson, Jessica Watkins, Roberto Minuta, Joseph Hackett, David Moerschel, Thomas Caldwell, and Edward Vallejo.

The overarching cases against the Oath Keepers allege the group conspired to prevent the counting of Electoral College votes by a joint session of the U.S. Congress at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. The goal, according to federal prosecutors, was to keep then-President Donald J. Trump in office and prevent Joseph R. Biden Jr. from assuming the presidency.

All of the current 17 Oath Keepers defendants have pleaded not guilty to all charges. Defense attorneys say the indictments are a vast misreading and twisting of communications between group members who came to Washington to do nothing more than keep event participants safe from attacks by Antifa radicals.

“At 1:42 p.m. on January 6, Greene sent a text message to an acquaintance stating, ‘Storming the capital’ (sic) along with a photograph that depicted the advancing mob on the west side of the Capitol grounds,” the Department of Justice stated in a news release. “Greene communicated with Rhodes and others during the afternoon. At about 3:09 p.m., Greene texted an acquaintance, ‘Congress evacuated.’”

List: Senate Republicans Who Voted for Gun Control Bill

The Senate on June 23 approved a bill that would tighten gun laws.

The House of Representatives plans to take up the legislation soon, and President Joe Biden has said he will sign it into law if it reaches his desk.

2020 Election Fraud Case in Pennsylvania County Progresses: Plaintiff’s Attorney

One of the lawyers on a lawsuit alleging election fraud in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, during the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election cycle says the case is progressing forward, as a court recently assigned a judge to the case.

Stefanie Lambert told The Epoch Times on Tuesday that the lawsuit, alleging election fraud and evidence destruction, is progressing forward as Judge John Whelan from the Delaware Court of Common Pleas was assigned to the case last week. Lambert is one of the two attornies representing the plaintiffs of the case.

“Defendants intentionally and fraudulently conspired to and did destroy, delete, secrete, and hide November 3, 2020, election data, materials, and equipment to prevent discovery of election fraud and election law violations in Delaware County, which the Defendants also conspired to commit and did commit while carrying out the November 3, 2020 election,” the lawsuit stated.

Lambert called the lawsuit the “steal-and-conceal” case, which alleges that the defendants conspired to cheat by fabricating election data in the 2020 election and destroyed relevant evidence afterward.

Pennsylvania is one of the states in which Biden’s win was contested during the 2020 election cycle. High-profile lawsuits—including Texas v. Pennsylvania, which was dismissed by the Supreme Court for lack of standing—alleged widespread election fraud in favor of then-candidate Joe Biden in Pennsylvania.

Ghislaine Maxwell Placed on Suicide Watch

In a June 25 letter to Judge Alison Nathan, one of Ghislaine Maxwell’s defense attorneys, Bobbi Sternheim, informed the court that Maxwell was placed on suicide watch yesterday by the Manhattan Detention Center (MDC), and that this “recent development” may “require postponement of Tuesday’s sentencing proceeding.”

Sternheim went on to write, “[Maxwell] is not permitted to possess and review legal documents and is not permitted paper or pen. This has prevented her from preparing for sentencing.”

The attorney stated that this was done “without having conducted a psychological evaluation and without justification.”

She went on to say, “Ms. Maxwell was abruptly removed from general population and returned to solitary confinement, this time without any clothing, toothpaste, soap, legal papers, etc. She was provided a ′suicide smock′ and is given a few sheets of toilet paper on request. This morning, a psychologist evaluated Ms. Maxwell and determined she is not suicidal.”

Sternheim wrote she met with Maxwell today and has determined herself that Maxwell is not suicidal.

She ended the letter with, “Currently, she is unable to prepare for sentencing. If Ms. Maxwell remains on suicide watch, is prohibited from reviewing legal materials prior to sentencing, becomes sleep deprived, and is denied sufficient time to meet with and confer with counsel, we will be formally moving on Monday for an adjournment.”

On June 15, the defense filed a 36-page memorandum that essentially asks Nathan to go easy on their client.

For much of the 36 pages, the defense puts the blame on the now-deceased Jeffrey Epstein, who was Maxwell’s employer and romantic partner, referring to him as the “central figure,” “mastermind,” and “principal abuser.”

White House Clarifies Biden’s Stance on Adding Justices to Supreme Court

President Joe Biden doesn’t support Democrats’ bid to expand the Supreme Court, the White House confirmed over the weekend.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed Biden’s position while speaking to reporters on Air Force One, coming as Democrats repeated their calls to expand, or pack, the Supreme Court with more justices after the court ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade on Friday.

“I’ve been asked it before—and I think the president himself … about expanding the court,” Jean-Pierre told reporters Saturday. “That is something that the president does not agree with. That is not something that he wants to do.”

Several Democrat senators, including Sens. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), said the high court should be expanded. Critics of the move have said that it would allow Democrats to place additional judges on the bench to sway future rulings in their favor.

“This court has lost legitimacy. They have burned whatever legitimacy they may still have had after their gun decision, after their voting decision, after their union decision,” Warren told ABC News on Sunday, without elaborating on why it lost legitimacy.

“They just took the last of it and set a torch to it,” she added. “I believe we need to get some confidence back in our court and that means we need more justices on the United States Supreme Court.”

Markey on Friday claimed the Supreme Court’s majority “appears set to destroy the right to abortion” and that “we must expand the court.”

Starting in 2020, more and more Democrats have vowed to pack the Supreme Court with ostensibly left-leaning judges under the Biden administration. In April 2021, however, Justice Stephen Breyer, who was appointed by a Democrat president, argued against the move and said it would politicize the court.

“Structural alteration motivated by the perception of political influence can only feed that perception, further eroding that trust,” said Breyer, a Clinton nominee who announced his retirement from the court earlier this year, at the time. “There can be no shortcuts to it.”

Following the Supreme Court decision last week, Biden issued a public statement saying that he believes Congress should pass laws to allow abortions. Failing that, he said that people should vote for candidates who support such measures during the 2022 midterms.

“Let me be very clear and unambiguous: the only way we can secure a woman’s right to choose—the balance that existed—is for Congress to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade as federal law,” Biden said during his speech. “No executive action from the president can do that.”

Here Comes the Sun—to End Civilization

Every so often, our star fires off a plasma bomb in a random direction. Our best hope the next time Earth is in the crosshairs? Capacitors.

TO A PHOTON, the sun is like a crowded nightclub. It’s 27 million degrees inside and packed with excited bodies—helium atoms fusing, nuclei colliding, positrons sneaking off with neutrinos. When the photon heads for the exit, the journey there will take, on average, 100,000 years. (There’s no quick way to jostle past 10 septillion dancers, even if you do move at the speed of light.) Once at the surface, the photon might set off solo into the night. Or, if it emerges in the wrong place at the wrong time, it might find itself stuck inside a coronal mass ejection, a mob of charged particles with the power to upend civilizations.

The cause of the ruckus is the sun’s magnetic field. Generated by the churning of particles in the core, it originates as a series of orderly north-to-south lines. But different latitudes on the molten star rotate at different rates—36 days at the poles, and only 25 days at the equator. Very quickly, those lines stretch and tangle, forming magnetic knots that can puncture the surface and trap matter beneath them. From afar, the resulting patches appear dark. They’re known as sunspots. Typically, the trapped matter cools, condenses into plasma clouds, and falls back to the surface in a fiery coronal rain. Sometimes, though, the knots untangle spontaneously, violently. The sunspot turns into the muzzle of a gun: Photons flare in every direction, and a slug of magnetized plasma fires outward like a bullet.

The sun has played this game of Russian roulette with the solar system for billions of years, sometimes shooting off several coronal mass ejections in a day. Most come nowhere near Earth. It would take centuries of human observation before someone could stare down the barrel while it happened. At 11:18 am on September 1, 1859, Richard Carrington, a 33-year-old brewery owner and amateur astronomer, was in his private observatory, sketching sunspots—an important but mundane act of record-keeping. That moment, the spots erupted into a blinding beam of light. Carrington sprinted off in search of a witness. When he returned, a minute later, the image had already gone back to normal. Carrington spent that afternoon trying to make sense of the aberration. Had his lens caught a stray reflection? Had an undiscovered comet or planet passed between his telescope and the star? While he stewed, a plasma bomb silently barreled toward Earth at several million miles per hour.

When a coronal mass ejection comes your way, what matters most is the bullet’s magnetic orientation. If it has the same polarity as Earth’s protective magnetic field, you’ve gotten lucky: The two will repel, like a pair of bar magnets placed north-to-north or south-to-south. But if the polarities oppose, they will smash together. That’s what happened on September 2, the day after Carrington saw the blinding beam.

Electrical current raced through the sky over the western hemisphere. A typical bolt of lightning registers 30,000 amperes. This geomagnetic storm registered in the millions. As the clock struck midnight in New York City, the sky turned scarlet, shot through with plumes of yellow and orange. Fearful crowds gathered in the streets. Over the continental divide, a bright-white midnight aurora roused a group of Rocky Mountain laborers; they assumed morning had arrived and began to cook breakfast. In Washington, DC, sparks leaped from a telegraph operator’s forehead to his switchboard as his equipment suddenly magnetized. Vast sections of the nascent telegraph system overheated and shut down.

The Carrington Event, as it’s known today, is considered a once-in-a-century geomagnetic storm—but it took just six decades for another comparable blast to reach Earth. In May 1921, train-control arrays in the American Northeast and telephone stations in Sweden caught fire. In 1989, a moderate storm, just one-tenth the strength of the 1921 event, left Quebec in the dark for nine hours after overloading the regional grid. In each of these cases, the damage was directly proportional to humanity’s reliance on advanced technology—more grounded electronics, more risk.

When another big one heads our way, as it could at any time, existing imaging technology will offer one or two days’ notice. But we won’t understand the true threat level until the cloud reaches the Deep Space Climate Observatory, a satellite about a million miles from Earth. It has instruments that analyze the speed and polarity of incoming solar particles. If a cloud’s magnetic orientation is dangerous, this $340 million piece of equipment will buy humanity—with its 7.2 billion cell phones, 1.5 billion automobiles, and 28,000 commercial aircraft—at most one hour of warning before impact.

The hormone insulin directs your cells to open up and take in glucose from the blood.  With insulin resistance, your cells become desensitized to insulin.  They ignore the instructions to open up and take in glucose.  Your body keeps producing more insulin to try to get the message heard.  But it doesn’t work.  And your insulin levels rise higher and higher.

Those chronically high insulin levels cause rapid weight gain, premature aging, high blood pressure, heart disease, and higher cancer risks.  Eventually they lead to type 2 diabetes.

Herbs, spices and foods are your first line of defense.  Here are eight that can help restore and maintain your cells’ sensitivity to insulin.

  1. Turmeric: 100% Effective In Preventing Diabetes
  2. Ginger: Lowers Fasting Blood Glucose by 10.5%
  3. Cinnamon: Less Than Half a Teaspoon A Day Reduces Blood Sugar Levels
  4. Olive Leaf Extract: Results Comparable to Metformin
  5. Berries Lower After-Meal Insulin Spike
  6. Black Seed (Nigella Sativa): Just 2 Grams Reduces Insulin Resistance
  7. Spirulina Increases Insulin Sensitivity by 225%
  8. Berberine Just As Good as Three Different Diabetes Drugs

Why Beets Are Good for the Heart

  • Research presented to the British Cardiovascular Society showed how nitrates in beetroot juice could reduce harmful inflammation in people with coronary heart disease
  • Nitrate is a substrate in the body’s production of nitric oxide, long known to be a potent vasodilator that promotes healthy blood flow for efficient oxygenation of your tissues and organs
  • Nitrates improve brain neuroplasticity by participating in the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), required for activation of BDNF receptors and improve muscle function, athletic performance and lung function
  • Other foods with cardioprotective properties include cruciferous vegetables that may promote thinner (healthier) carotid walls, high-fiber, probiotic-rich sauerkraut that reduces inflammation and blood pressure, and high magnesium, dark green leafy vegetables

13 Cancers Are Related to This One Physical Condition, and It’s Only Increasing

Studies have found that many cancers are related to obesity. Nowadays, more and more people are becoming obese. However, doing two things can easily achieve the effect of cancer prevention and weight loss.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), obesity will increase the risk of 13 types of cancer, and these cancers account for 40 percent of all cancers diagnosed in the United States each year, including breast cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer (esophageal adenocarcinoma), pancreatic cancer, kidney cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, gallbladder cancer, thyroid cancer, meningioma (a type of brain cancer), and multiple myeloma (a type of blood cancer).

Compared to those with normal weight, the risk for several cancers increases substantially for those who are obese or overweight:

  • Endometrial cancer: The risk is seven times higher for those with severe obesity, and two to four times higher for those who are obese or overweight.
  • Esophageal cancer (esophageal adenocarcinoma): The risk is 4.8 times higher for severely obese people and 1.5 to three times higher for obese or overweight people.
  • Stomach cancer (gastric cancer): The risk is twice as high for obese people.
  • Liver cancer: The risk is twice as high for obese or overweight people.
  • Kidney cancer: The risk is twice as high for obese or overweight people.
  • Pancreatic cancer: the risk is 1.5 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Colorectal cancer: The risk is 1.3 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Gallbladder cancer: The risk is 1.6 times greater for obese people and 1.2 times greater for overweight people.
  • Meningioma: The risk is 1.5 times greater for obese people and 1.2 times greater for overweight people.
  • Breast cancer (after menopause): The risk is 1.2 to 1.4 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Thyroid cancer: The risk is 1.2 to 1.3 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Multiple myeloma: The risk is 1.1 to 1.2 times greater for obese or overweight people.
  • Ovarian cancer: The risk increases 1.1 times for every five-point increase in body mass index (BMI).

EV’s, Green Deal Destruction & Warning Extreme Diesel Engine Oil Shortage

Commentary by Devvy Kidd – Electric Vehicles fondly called EV’s

The push continues for everyone to buy an electric vehicle to save the planet!  Dictator Democrat/Communist Party USA governor of California, Gavin Newsome, signed an Executive order which bans gas, diesel cars by 2035.  Gotta get down to zero emissions to save us from one of the greatest hoaxes ever shoved down the world’s throats:  climate change.  Yep, and you can get one of those EV’s cheap for around $46,000.

Solar Reviews:  All prices shown here are the final retail prices, straight from the Tesla website 2022:  $46,990 – $138,990; those are the cheap ones.  The loaded versions are very expensive, at least in my world.

California’s 2020 vehicle registration system showed 36 MILLION paid for tags.  Most illegal aliens don’t bother with that pesky requirement or insurance.  California is over run with millions of illegals. How many cars are on freeways in LA, SF Bay Area, Sacramento, Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth and around the country every day?

So, how many charging stations would be needed in say the LA basin or Dallas/Ft. Worth or other major metropolitan cities – never mind for 18-wheelers and commercial delivery trucks?  And how many millions for all the major federal and state highways like I-80 going coast to coast?  How about in super rural areas in states like Montana or even Highway 40 out of California to AZ or NV where gas stations are way far and few in between.  I know, because I’ve driven them all over the decades.  And they all require, what?

Those charging stations cannot operate without electricity. Yes, you can re-charge them at home overnight depending on your electrical wiring load.

OMG! Charging the Chevy Volt in this video with what?  Could it the dastardly coal?“So what’s charging the batteries right now? What’s the source of electricity?” … wait for it …

I covered this extensively in two columns I did last year after several states lived through a deadly Polar Vortex.  Texas where I live was hit hard; thankfully I was unaffected the whole time.  But, just in case, I now have a generator.  I urge you to take the time to read them so that you get facts and not more lies about “renewable energy” which is not only UNRELIABLE BUT HAS CREATED AN ON-GOING ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER.

Texas Disaster – What Americans Need to Know, Feb. 22, 2021

Renewable Energy IS Causing an Environmental Wasteland, March 1,2021.

Wind turbines kill billions of birds a year and they are killing threatened species like bald eagles, condors, snowy owls, Swallow-tailed Kite.  Some are stable for now but the numbers being killed are rarely mentioned by the brain washed global warming/climate change hoax victims.

But, what about long distance driving?  Cost to replace batteries?  Cost to charge at a public charging station?  Yes, you can charge overnight in your garage but a big problem is how the house is wired and what electricity is available from the grid.

Batteries can run from $1,000 – $6,000 depending on what brand and model.  Average life is ten years.  Doesn’t sound too bad until one looks at minerals (lithium, graphite, nickel, etc), mining and much more on that issue.  Not a pretty picture.

The communist plan known as the “New Green Deal” is nothing but a con job.  Another catastrophe that will play out for decades and destroy our economy even worse than what’s underway.  But, that’s always been the game plan for nearly 100 years.

Demand Congress Stop Funding This Manufactured Hoax. Mine, February 25, 2019:

“We’ve got to ride the global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic policy and environmental policy.” – Tim Wirth, former member of Congress, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs.

At the Fifth Congress in Moscow, ‘The Program,’ was drafted and agreed upon by the International Communist dictators. It was agreed that an environmental “crisis” would be gradually developed to siphon off the money from capitalism and reduce countries to socialism and eventually under communism. I refer readers back to this column and the book by Gus Hall, head of the Communist Party USA for decades: Ecology, Can We Survive Under Capitalism? published in 1972.

“Joe Biden is a dirty traitor. More than a decade ago when he was announced as running mate for criminal impostor president, Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama, I tried to warn people in columns and on radio about Biden. I wrote about a speech he gave on June 29, 1992:  On The Threshold of the New World Order: The Wilsonian Vision and American Foreign Policy in the 1990’s and Beyond.”

Democrats Against Agenda 21 have provided a very good breakdown of Biden’s speech which includes manufacturing a global environmental crisis. That organization also recognized the connection between Common Core and Agenda 21.”

GARDENING, FARMING & HOMESTEADING

5 Common Mistakes That Attract Garden Pests

As the flowers and vegetables start to get planted and grow, an important question is beginning to form in the minds of plant owners everywhere: how to prevent garden pests from destroying your plants.

Whether it’s insects eating up and infecting crops with diseases or hidden animals potentially posing a threat for gardeners, it’s no wonder why specific insects and animals can be a real pain for gardeners everywhere.

Unfortunately, however, not everyone knows how to keep unruly pests under control and out of the way, or some of the mistakes that can lead to them becoming a big problem in the first place.

So to help you and your plants to get through the new gardening season, here are 5 of the most common mistakes plant owners make that attract unwanted garden pests—and how to prevent them.

#1. Mismanaging Your Plants in Their Early Stages

The early stages of plant life are a very important part of every organism’s life, including plants. It can greatly determine early on whether your plant will successfully flourish or not.

Whether your plant’s journey starts from little seedlings or from starters, every plant needs 4 essential things to survive: sunshine, water, food, and protection. Lack or excess of any of these essentials will lead to your plant becoming more susceptible to pests.

For example, the most common way first-time plant owners “overlove” their plants is by overwatering them.

#2. Failure to Remove Items Cluttering up Your Garden

Many people tend to keep a lot of things in their gardens, from compost bins to woodpiles and overgrown patches of grass. However, most people forget that isolated and unattended-to areas like this can invite a lot of unwanted guests.

#3. Cramming Too Many Plants in One Area

Most new plant owners, especially owners of small gardens, are known to unconsciously crowd too many plants into one area to fill up their gardening space with beautiful, interesting flora and fauna. However, most don’t realize that this is doing nothing but creating a beacon for garden pests everywhere to make this place their new home.

Similar to over-cluttering your garden with different items and unattended-to areas, overcrowding with plants gives pests more places to find shelter, more warmth, and more things to snack on, making it the perfect place to call home and reproduce in.

#4. Killing Off All The Bugs in Your Garden

Killing off all the bugs in your garden may not seem like a mistake to most people, since many people consider all bugs pests. However, not all bugs are your enemy when it comes to your garden.

Unbeknownst to most people, there are a lot of species of bugs that actually help protect your garden against unruly, unwanted pests, and it’s going to be important for you to keep them around.

#5. Limiting Your Plant Diversity

The final mistake people tend to make in their gardens is decreasing the amount of diversity in them.

Most people tend to want to plant the same plants in the same area to make their gardens more aesthetically pleasing to the eye. However, they fail to realize that this just makes their gardens a buffet to potential pests since aesthetics usually doesn’t allow for a diverse ecosystem that is crucial in forming a good, sustainable ecosystem.

So, armed with this new information, the only thing left to do now is to go out into your garden and protect your leafy friends this season from whatever unruly garden pests present!

Pfizer Vaccine Impairs Sperm Count—Conspiracy Theorists Were Right

A new peer-reviewed study published in the journal Andrology on June 17 vindicates another dark suspicion about COVID-19 vaccines: they harm male fertility. Specifically, researchers find declining sperm counts for up to five months after the second dose of Pfizer’s mRNA COVID-19 jab.

Previously, any legitimate questions about COVID-19 vaccination affecting fertility were dismissed using the perverse rhetoric of “there’s no evidence” (it’s dependent upon the advocates of a universally distributed medical product to prove it’s safe, not the other way around). Then, there was a published study that seemingly disproved any male fertility concerns.

“We now have evidence that should reassure you that the risk of immunization compromising your sperm count is extremely low,” Dr. David Cohen, a reproduction expert, told CNN.

“Because the vaccines contain mRNA and not the live virus, it is unlikely that the vaccine would affect sperm parameters,” stated study author Dr. Ranjith Ramasamy, director of the Reproductive Urology Fellowship program at the University of Miami.

After the publication of the study and positive support from the scientific community, all male fertility concerns were brushed aside. Anyone who dared question the parameters of the study or the longer-term effects was now relegated to a conspiracy theorist. As someone who generally doesn’t like to engage in speculation, I was not one of these people—but I vividly recall it happening.

There was one severe limitation of the study: it only looked at sperm counts before the first dose and 70 days after the second. What happens after two months remained a mystery, but a mystery not worth worrying about as we were told.

The new study published in Andrology tested beyond 70 days and tested sperm counts from men who donated sperm to three fertility clinics in Israel. The study had four phases: a pre-vaccination baseline control, and a short-term (15–45 days), intermediate (75–120 days), and long-term (>150 days) test.

In the first phase (15–45 days), no significant change in sperm concentration or motility was found.

However, the intermediate evaluation (75–120 days) showed a temporary 15.4 percent sperm concentration decrease, which led to a total motile count (TMC) reduction of 22.1 percent compared to the pre-vaccination baseline control. The study authors concluded that the immune response induced by the Pfizer vaccine “is a reasonable cause for transient semen concentration and TMC decline.”

This study isn’t without its limitations. There was no control group of unvaccinated sperm donors to compare to. Moreover, only relative reduction rates were given rather than absolute sperm counts. If the broader data paints an even darker picture, it’s possible it was obscured given the tremendous amount of public and institutional pressure to support the unchallengeable holy biotechnology (see the backlash Dr. Tracy Beth Hoeg and colleagues faced for publishing the vaccine myocarditis studies).

The biggest unanswered question from this study is the reproductive side effects associated with a booster shot. Study participants were given a third dose, but data collection ended after the second shot. Moreover, this data is only for the Pfizer vaccine. As we’ve seen with myocarditis, the Moderna vaccine has severalfold (approximately three to five times) higher rates of myocarditis compared to Pfizer. If the differential vaccine damage for myocarditis in any way aligns with sperm count impairment, this would be a medical disaster.

Vaccine fanatics have always dismissed concerns as “conspiracy theory.” That vaccines are wildly ineffective at preventing transmission was once a conspiracy theory. Former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson was kicked off Twitter for making this claim, alongside other “misinformation.”

Robust evidence showing vaccines cause an unacceptably high rate of myocarditis in men has also been bizarrely challenged, ignored, and distorted (see Dr. Sanjay Gupta on The Joe Rogan Experience).

Being concerned with “long-term side effects” was treated like speculating whether the Earth is flat.

Vaccine advocates made the grave mistake of overconfidently assuming the unknowns were completely benign and any consideration otherwise was blasphemous.

Science is not religious scripture—it’s an ever-evolving process. With the new data in, responsible scientists must acknowledge this risk and compare it with the potential benefits of vaccination (against severe disease and death). And accordingly, the one-size-fits-all “everyone 5 and up should get boosted” propaganda campaign must be scrapped in favor of age-specific, individualized decision-making.

A 30-year-old male looking to start a family may be reasonably discouraged from getting vaccinated (or now getting a booster) given the new data, meanwhile a frail 75-year-old man with multiple comorbidities would much rather be protected from the potentially lethal consequences of COVID-19.

CDC Confirmed Post-Vaccination Death From Blood Clotting Two Weeks Before Alerting Public: Emails

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed in late 2021 that a person died from blood clotting after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine that had been linked with an increased risk of blood clotting, but did not alert the public for two weeks, newly obtained emails show.

Dr. Tom Shimabukuro, a CDC official, told colleagues at the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on Dec. 2, 2021, “We have confirmed a 9th TTS death following Janssen vaccination,” according to emails obtained by The Epoch Times through a Freedom of Information Act request.

TTS refers to thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome, a condition that features low platelet levels combined with blood clots.

Officials had recommended a nationwide pause on the administration of the vaccine, produced by Johnson & Johnson (J&J) subsidiary Janssen, in April 2021 after six women experienced TTS after J&J vaccination and three died. But they lifted the pause after determining the vaccine remained safe and effective.

The condition was not discussed much in the ensuing months, despite the CDC later reporting that five additional deaths occurred before Aug. 31, 2021. Shimabukuro gave a single update, in mid-October 2021, saying five total deaths had been reported.

That was until December 2021. Twelve days after Shimabukuro alerted colleagues of the ninth death, the FDA urged healthcare workers not to administer the vaccine to people with certain conditions because of the TTS risk. Two days after that, Dr. Isaac See, another CDC official, informed the public during a meeting that nine deaths had occurred post-vaccination.

It’s unclear when the CDC learned of the sixth, seventh, and eighth deaths.

‘God Has Called Me to Stand Up’: USAF Pilot Facing Discharge for Rejecting COVID Vaccine

USAF pilot Lt. John Bowes dreamt of flying and protecting the country his entire life—since he was a child.

He is heartbroken now that he had to put his religious faith over his dream due to the COVID vaccine mandates within the U.S. military, but believes that God is helping him get through the tribulation and that he has a duty to speak up.

The 24-year-old was an F-16 student pilot but was taken out of training and prevented from flying since September of last year when he first submitted his religious accommodation.

“I exercised my constitutional and statutory right to receive a religious accommodation. And then I was, as a direct consequence of doing that, removed from training to fly the F-16. I personally believe that is religious discrimination,” Bowes told The Epoch Times.

He made clear that his views are not representative of the USAF.

“Now that my religious accommodation is denied, I have been formally removed from training. I’ve received a letter of reprimand, which is a disciplinary action that goes on my record as an officer. And I’ve been told that I’ll be processed for discharge here pretty soon,” he said.

Bowes says that nine months ago he filed an equal opportunity complaint with the Air Force Equal Opportunity office, but has not heard back from them so far.

“I’m absolutely heartbroken,” Bowes said, “it’s sad to see that my dream is at risk over something like the COVID vaccine, which doesn’t stop you from getting or spreading COVID.”

North Carolina’s Biggest Hospital Systems Made Record Profits While Taking Billions in COVID Relief Funds: Report

North Carolina’s largest hospital systems made billions of dollars in profits during the pandemic, while simultaneously taking $1.5 billion in taxpayer-funded COVID-19 relief funds, according to a report released Wednesday by the state treasurer’s office.

The report, titled, “North Carolina Hospital Systems Profit During COVID” was published by State Treasurer Dale Folwell who called on the hospital systems to “use their profits to lower costs for patients” or “return unnecessary, taxpayer-funded relief dollars.”

According to the report, Atrium Health, Cone Health, Duke Health, Novant Health, UNC Health, Vidant Health, and WakeMed made a combined $5.2 billion in net profits in 2021 and recorded $7.1 billion in growth in cash and financial investments from 2019 to 2021.

Six of those hospital systems enjoyed higher net profits than in the years before the pandemic, the report states.

That growth came as the seven hospital systems reportedly took $1.5 billion in taxpayer-funded COVID relief meant to help support hospitals who were struggling through the pandemic, as well as another $1.6 billion in Medicare Accelerated and Advance Payments from 2020–2021.

“These systems boasted huge reserves, but they still took the bulk of the relief funds meant for struggling hospitals—and then failed to dedicate more than a fraction of their windfall to increasing charity care for their suffering patients,” Folwell said in a press release unveiling the report.

Vaccines for 6-Month-Olds ‘Makes Absolutely No Sense’: Dr. Jeffrey Barke

As the Biden administration rolls out vaccines for the nation’s youngest children (6 months to 5-year-olds), Dr. Jeffrey Barke, chief medical officer at the Convention of States, said there is absolutely no evidence supporting that these youngest children are at any serious risk of death from COVID-19 and should not get be broadly vaccinated.

“I think it’s important that we tell the truth first, and then let parents and adults make informed decisions about whether or not to get vaccinated,” Barke said during a recent interview with NTD’s Capitol Report. “And to recommend this product to 6-month-olds makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. So, to start with, there is no COVID emergency, especially as it relates to younger people. It simply doesn’t exist.”

Barke referenced the CDC’s own website, saying that according to the CDC’s data, just over 1,000 children have died since the beginning of the pandemic as of the interview. “While every death of course is tragic, the reality is every one of those deaths occurred in a child that had significant underlying comorbidities. Healthy children simply do not die from this illness,” said Barke.

Meanwhile, White House COVID-19 Response Coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha made a contrary statement, saying that the infant vaccines “have been thoroughly tested. Millions of children above the age of 5 have gotten these vaccines. They’re exceedingly safe,” Jha told CBS News in a June 20 interview.

The CDC last Saturday signed off on giving both Moderna’s and Pfizer’s COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to infants and children between 6 months and 5 years old. It came after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) advisory panel unanimously voted to authorize the use of the vaccines.
