U.N. Watchdog Confirms Iran’s Uranium Enriched to Near Bomb-Grade Levels

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed it has discovered uranium particles enriched to 83.7 percent purity at an Iranian nuclear facility, the closest it’s ever been to the 90 percent needed to produce an atomic bomb.

The particles, which were taken in January from Iran’s underground Fordow plant, were “inconsistent with the level of enrichment … as declared by Iran and requested Iran to clarify the origins of these particles,” a report by the IAEA said.

How This US Lie Will Likely Lead to War

September 26, 2022, Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 — Russian pipelines that deliver natural gas from Russia to Europe underneath the Baltic Sea — were blown up

Months before the sabotage, President Biden publicly announced that “if Russia invades Ukraine, there will be no Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it.” Undersecretary Victoria Nuland also delivered a near-identical message, saying, “If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another Nord Stream 2 will not move forward”

February 8, 2023, legendary investigative journalist Seymore Hersh published a shocking article based on whistleblower testimony claiming the sabotage was carried out by U.S. Navy divers during BALTOPS 22, a NATO exercise that took place in the Baltic Sea in June 2022. Three months later, the planted explosives were remotely detonated, destroying the two pipelines

According to the whistleblower, Norway was in on the plan, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz OK’d the operation

According to Hersh, the “why” behind Biden’s decision to blow up the pipelines was threefold. First, it would massively impact Russia’s economy. Second, eliminating Germany’s and Western Europe’s ability to buy low-cost gas from Russia would force them to buy U.S. gas. And third, he feared Europe would be reluctant to supply Ukraine with money and weapons if they were reliant on Russian gas

UN Promotes Anti-Israel, Pro-Beijing Policies: US Ambassador

The U.N. consistently demonstrates an anti-Israel bias and is overly beholden to authoritarian regimes, including China and Russia, according to testimony during a U.S. House subcommittee hearing on March 1.

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield said the international body continually seeks to place Israel at a disadvantage and favors actions that undermine Israeli security and sovereignty.

“The U.N. is replete with anti-Israel actions and bodies, including disproportionate resolutions against Israel across the U.N. system,” Thomas-Greenfield told members of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs.

European Antiwar Protests Grow As Fears Of NATO vs Russia Spiral

A series of antiwar protests over the weekend saw Western European citizens in mass demanding their governments pursue diplomacy with Russia and halt arms shipments to Kiev. As the current conflict in Ukraine turned one year old, major demonstrations – which saw people united across the political spectrum – were seen in Germany, France, and Italy.

10,000 people gathered in Paris to protest against France’s membership in both NATO as well as the EU. Attendees also demanded an end to the French government’s military aid to Kiev. The demonstration, dubbed the “National March for Peace” was organized by the right-wing Les Patriotes party. According to the group’s leader Florian Philippot – who joined the Paris rally himself – similar but smaller protests were held at 30 other locations throughout the country on Sunday.

EXCLUSIVE: Jim Jordan, House Intel Committee Call On Intelligence Officials Who Discredited Hunter Biden Story To Appear For Transcribed Interviews

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner sent letters Wednesday to Central Intelligence officials who discredited the Hunter Biden laptop story, saying they have not yet responded to previously requested interviews.

The Daily Caller first obtained the 29 letters to the different Central Intelligence officials in which the lawmakers reiterate their requests and ask that the officials “comply promptly.” The letters ask the officials to schedule interviews and “arrange for the production of the outstanding material.”

Both The Washington Post and The New York Times noted the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s laptop in March 2022, more than one year after the Daily Caller News Foundation first verified it. Recent reporting by the Daily Caller and other outlets has highlighted the Biden family’s extensive dealings with Chinese companies, including a presentation Hunter Biden gave promoting American shale and natural gas to Chinese businessmen.

Scientist Slams EPA for Not Testing for Cancer-Causing Chemical in East Palestine

A scientist slammed the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for not testing for dioxins, a cancer-causing chemical that is “no doubt” in the environment of East Palestine, Ohio, as a result of the February 6 controlled detonation that was conducted in response to the train derailment.

Stephen Lester, science director at the Center for Health, Environment and Justice, told WKBN there is no doubt in his mind that dioxins were released during the controlled burn of vinyl chloride in East Palestine last month.

Almost 80 Percent of Americans Aged 17 to 24 Unfit for Military Service

It’s no secret that the U.S. military is struggling to find people who are fit for service these days. Maintaining health and wellness among its existing members has also become a challenge.

A Department of Defense report cited during a Feb. 16 congressional hearing offered a hard pill to swallow: 77 percent of Americans between the ages of 17 and 24 are unqualified physically to enter the armed forces. That’s a 6 percent increase from 2017, which has added to the struggle to find new recruits in every branch of the military.

One of the major hurdles recruiters now face is obesity, which has become a dominant health challenge for Americans. As of 2020, the prevalence of obesity in the adult population hit nearly 42 percent.

In addition, research shows that government food subsidies are a significant contributing factor.

One 2022 study found a link between receiving food assistance and a greater chance of becoming obese through the consumption of unhealthy foods. That’s especially true for participants in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

CCP Seeks to ‘Replace’ US With ‘Tech-Powered Dystopia,’ Select Committee Hears

China’s communist regime is engaged in a concerted effort to undermine and replace the United States as the world’s most powerful nation by weaponizing Americans against each other, U.S. lawmakers were told this week.

The House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) convened on Feb. 28 for its first hearing, which was titled “The Chinese Communist Party’s Threat to America.”

Committee Chair Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.) described the competition between the United States and the CCP as an “existential struggle.” The Republican congressman said that the CCP, which rules China as a single-party state, is pitting “America against America,” hoping to topple the United States from within.

Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Ill.), the panel’s ranking Democrat, agreed with the assessment, saying that the regime seeks to exploit political divisions in the United States that are endemic to democratic societies.

“The CCP wants us to be fractious, partisan, and prejudiced,” Krishnamoorthi said.

“We must rise to the occasion and prove them wrong.”

To that end, however, Gallagher noted that many powerful and monied interests within the United States had made their fortunes outsourcing U.S. jobs to China, and were pushing back on American efforts to secure itself against the regime.

“The CCP has found friends on Wall Street, in Fortune 500 C-suites, and on K Street who are ready and willing to oppose efforts to push back,” Gallagher said.

Merrick Garland Says DOJ Has Prosecuted More Pro-Lifers Because Attacks Occurred ‘During the Daylight’

United States Attorney General Merrick Garland admitted that the Department of Justice [DOJ] has prosecuted more pro-life activists than pro-abortion extremists following the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, but blamed the timing of alleged crimes for the discrepancy.

“I will say, you are quite right: there are many more prosecutions with respect to blocking of the abortion centers. But that is generally because those actions are taken with photography at the time, during the daylight, and seeing the person who did it is quite easy,” Garland told Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) during a Wednesday Senate Judiciary Committee hearing.

Eli Lilly cuts insulin prices up to 70% amid federal pressure to lower costs

Eli Lilly and Co. said it will cut prices of its most commonly prescribed insulins up to 70% and expand a program that limits out-of-pocket monthly costs for some consumers.

The Indianapolis drugmaker’s price cuts and discounts for insulin come as federal and state lawmakers and patient advocates pressure drug companies and health insurers to improve affordability for the life-saving medication used by millions of Americans.

“The aggressive price cuts we’re announcing today should make a real difference for Americans with diabetes,” said Lilly’s Chair and CEO David Ricks.

Increased Vitamin D Intake May Help Prevent Dementia, New Study Shows

New research indicates that one essential vitamin could make all the difference in cognitive decline and brain longevity: Vitamin D.

According to a new observational study published in Alzheimer’s & Dementia this week, older adults that increased their vitamin D intake were 40% less likely to develop dementia. The study also learned quite a bit about how individual factors (e.g., demographics, genetics, behavior) play into the equation.

Want A Calmer, More Restful Nighttime Routine? Try Magnesium

Sleep is a core pillar of overall health and well-being, if a struggle for many. Fortunately, there are things we can do to promote quality rest. Giving our bodies enough essential minerals, including magnesium, is paramount.* Here’s why magnesium can help promote quality sleep, plus a handful of easy ways to incorporate it into your nighttime routine.*

What does magnesium have to do with sleep?

First things first: Let’s look at the role magnesium plays in sleep, in particular. For one thing, research suggests it may help regulate our circadian rhythm1, which subsequently regulates our energy throughout the day—and signals when it’s time to go to bed.*

Beyond that, it can also help to directly and positively affect relaxation and sleep architecture, as an agonist of GABA pathways in the brain, mbg’s vice president of scientific affairs Ashley Jordan Ferira, Ph.D., RDN, previously explained.*

And according to functional medicine doctor Robert Rountree, M.D., “Everyone in our stressed-out society could benefit from consuming more magnesium, which is well known for its calming effect that makes for easier and more restful sleep.”* Now without further ado, here’s how to get more of this soothing mineral.

  1. Prioritize nuts & seeds.

Odds are, your favorite nuts and seeds likely have a good amount of magnesium, from pumpkin seeds to cashews to brazil nuts and even sunflower seeds. Noshing on a small handful as you’re starting to wind down for the night can help you stay satiated until breakfast, and give you a magnesium boost before bed.

  1. Try a magnesium supplement.

Not in the mood for a bedtime snack? The easiest and most convenient way to reap the sleep benefits of magnesium is to opt for a supplement

60 Percent of US Adults Living Paycheck to Paycheck: Report

Americans are still struggling to save money at the end of each month amid the increased cost of living, although not quite as much as they were a year ago, according to a new report by LendingClub and Paymnts.

The report is based on a survey of 4,163 U.S. consumers conducted from Jan. 6 to Jan. 27, as well as an analysis of other economic data.

It found that as of January, 60 percent of U.S. adults, including more than four in 10 high-income consumers, live paycheck to paycheck, although that’s down from 64 percent in January 2022.

According to the report, 45 percent of consumers annually earning more than $100,000 reported living paycheck to paycheck in January 2023, down from 48 percent at the same time last year.

An earlier Paymnts/LendingClub survey in December last year found that around 64 percent of consumers were left with little to no money to spend at the end of the month, marking 9.3 million more than the year before.

Elsewhere, according to the latest report, the share of middle-income consumers—those earning between $50,000 and $100,000 a year—and low-income consumers—those earning less than $50,000 a year—reporting that they are living paycheck to paycheck also dropped over the past year, and is now at 64 percent and 74 percent, respectively.

Supreme Court Slashes IRS Penalty Against Taxpayer for Not Reporting Foreign Bank Accounts

The Supreme Court ruled 5–4 in a fractured opinion on Feb. 28 that the IRS imposed an excessive fine on a businessman for failing to report foreign bank accounts, reducing the financial penalty to $50,000 from $2.72 million.

The decision came after the House of Representatives, now controlled by Republicans, voted in January to repeal a congressional provision allotting almost $80 billion to the IRS over the coming 10 years for increased enforcement.

Democrats say the IRS has long been underfunded, but Republicans say the extra money would have been used to harass taxpayers. Only 4 percent of the additional funding would have been devoted to improving taxpayer service, while 58 percent would have gone to escalating enforcement efforts, the New York Post reported in August 2022.

The petitioner, Alexandru Bittner, was born in communist Romania. He moved to the United States in his youth, working as a dishwasher and later as a plumber. Eventually, he was naturalized in the United States and has been a dual Romanian–U.S. citizen ever since.

Bittner returned to Romania after the collapse of Soviet bloc communism in 1990 and lived there until 2011.

FTX Engineering Chief Pleads Guilty to Criminal Charges

The six charges against Singh included conspiracy to commit securities fraud, conspiracy to commit money laundering, and conspiracy to violate campaign finance laws, according to a report by CNBC.

California’s Community Colleges Hired Too Many Part-Time Professors, Misspent Funds: State Auditor

Some of California’s community colleges do not have enough full-time faculty, and some misspend state funds intended for full-time professors on part-time adjuncts, according to a report released last month by the state’s auditor.

The audit—which state legislators authorized last year at the request of a community college faculty group—investigated state spending and hiring practices at the Foothill-De Anza, Kern, Los Rios, and San Diego Community College Districts.

Auditors partially faulted the California Community College Chancellor’s Office for a lack of oversight and for using a faulty metric to measure the districts’ part-time and full-time professors.

“Our calculations show that the districts’ actual percentage of instruction by full-time faculty can sometimes be significantly lower than the current metric suggests,” the audit stated. “Further, a lack of oversight by the Chancellor’s Office allowed some districts to improperly use the funds allocated for hiring full-time faculty.”

Tester to Join Manchin to Overturn Biden ESG Investment Rule, Ensuring Bill Goes to President’s Desk

Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) announced on March 1 he will join Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) in voting to overturn a Biden administration rule that permits money managers to consider environmental, social, and governance (ESG) in deciding where to invest retirement funds.

“At a time when working families are dealing with higher costs, from health care to housing, we need to be focused on ensuring Montanans’ retirement savings are on the strongest footing possible,” said Tester in a statement.

“I’m opposing this Biden administration rule because I believe it undermines retirement accounts for working Montanans and is wrong for my state.”

The GOP-controlled House of Representatives voted on Feb. 28 to repeal the rule through the Congressional Review Act, which allows Congress to repeal regulations within 60 days of enactment.

Biden Breaks Out Veto Pen for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Soft on Crime Bills

President Joe Biden will reportedly issue the first vetoes of his term this week in the wake of Congress passing the resolution to overturn the D.C. soft-on-crime bill and the bill to scrap his administration’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Rule.

As Breitbart News reported, Republicans and moderate Democrats helped to pass a bill  that would nullify Biden’s ESG rule, or the Department of Labor’s “Prudence and Loyalty in Selecting Plan Investments and Exercising Shareholder Rights” rule.

What is White Flight?

The phenomenon of upper and middle class whites moving out of cities and into the suburbs is known as white flight. The opposite of white flight is gentrification, a process in which wealthy whites move back into an urban area, displacing the current residents and rapidly driving up the cost of living so that the previous residents are forced to move. Both practices have been extensively documented by students of demographics and urban development. White flight, in particular, has negative connotations, especially for those left behind in the suddenly impoverished neighborhood.

This Giant Maine Coon Is So Big It’s Already the Average Height of a 9-Year-Old Kid

Finn the cat has grown so big he is now 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) long, the average height of a nine-year-old kid. And many people mistake the enormous Maine coon for a dog.

Owner Natalie Bowman, 32, adopted Finn in 2017 when he was just three-and-a-half months old.

The cat’s stupendous size makes him an expensive pet to maintain. Finn gets fed three or four times a day, and Natalie spends $150 a month on his food.

Natalie, a healthcare provider who lives in San Carlos, California, often walks Finn through their neighborhood on a lead, and he has now become a local celebrity.

“It’s really funny,” Natalie said. “They think he’s a dog, and then when they get closer they say, ‘Oh my God, it’s a cat’—and they love him.”

When Natalie has visitors, they are often given a fright by the huge feline.

“I’ve had service people come around to fix things,” she said. “It’s always fun to see grown men get shocked by my cat, they often say he looks like a bobcat or a wildcat.”

Despite his size, Finn is a gentle giant and gets along splendidly with Natalie’s other cat.

“It took them a little while to adjust to each other, but they love each other now,” she said.

Natalie said Maine coons need a “lot of time and affection,” and Finn has “separation anxiety” so she takes him into the office sometimes.

“He is a very sociable cat and he loves to talk, he’s very loud,” she said.

“Finn is really docile and curious. He is so funny and is very needy and affectionate; he loves cuddles and to be spooned.”

Merrick Garland Admits He Would Have to Allow Charges Against Hunter Biden

Attorney General Merrick Garland would personally have to authorize any potential charges against Hunter Biden, he admitted Wednesday amid concerns that President Joe Biden’s Justice Department (DOJ) has been politicized under his leadership.

Hunter has been under investigation by David Weiss, the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney for Delaware, for potential tax and gun violations for years. Yet no charges have been levied. Garland has refused to appoint a special prosecutor in the investigation to avoid a conflict of interest between the Biden family and himself.

Levy, who was hired to work on opposing congressional investigations that seek to reveal the complexities of the family’s business schemes, is no longer representing the infamous Biden family business member, the New York Times reported Wednesday.
