Six More Years for Putin: Three-Day Russian Presidential Election Polling Opens

Voters headed to the polls in Russia on Friday for a three-day presidential election that is all but certain to extend President Vladimir Putin´s rule by six more years after he stifled dissent? (that’s not news, that’s political opinion from AP!)

The election takes place against the backdrop of a ruthless crackdown that has crippled independent media and prominent rights groups and given Putin full control of the political system.

Voters are casting their ballots Friday through Sunday at polling stations across the vast country´s 11 time zones, as well as in illegally annexed regions of Ukraine. Russians also can vote online, the first time the option has been used in a presidential contest; more than 200,000 people in Moscow voted online soon after the polls opened, authorities said.

The election holds little suspense since Putin, 71, is running for his fifth term virtually unchallenged. His political opponents are either in jail or in exile abroad, and the fiercest of them, Alexei Navalny, died in a remote Arctic penal colony last month. (an insinuation) The three other candidates on the ballot are low-profile politicians from token opposition parties that toe the Kremlin´s line.

Gender Equality! Denmark Expanding Conscription to Women

Denmark is extending conscription, more than doubling the period of mandatory service, calling up more young people, and requiring women to enroll in the lottery for selection for the first time. Women are to be conscripted into the Danish armed forces, as the nation’s leadership says it is seeking to deter aggression by being better prepared for war. Under the plan, which wouldn’t come into force until 2026, mandatory military service would dramatically increase from four months to 11, encompassing five months of training followed by six of service.

Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said protecting the nation is an honor for those conscripted, saying: “We do not rearm because we want war. We are rearming because we want to avoid it… we propose full equality between the sexes.” The Foreign Minister emphasized Russia does not pose a direct threat to Denmark, but expanding the military now is about preventing “ourselves [coming] to a place where they could come to do that”.

Defense minister Troels Lund Poulsen says the European security situation “has become more and more serious, and we have to take that into account when we look at future defense… a broader basis for recruiting that includes all genders is needed.”

As things stand presently, all men are required to report to a military depot on ‘Defence Day’ to be physically assessed to determine whether they are fit for callup, and then entered into a lottery.

Although millions of people in Denmark are technically eligible to be conscripted, actually the nation’s military is one of the smallest in Europe and only around four thousand people are presently in mandatory service at any one time.

Under the plan, women aged 18 would also be obliged to attend Defence Day and enter the service lottery.

Sack Sunak? Top Tories Look to Replace PM Before General Election as Polls Collapse and Party Mood Sours

Rumors are swirling around Westminster of the potential of another Conservative prime minister being removed by palace coup as the party continues to trail the left-wing Labour Party and is facing a challenge from the right from Nigel Farage’s Reform UK as the country heads toward a general election.

Just 16 months after the Conservative Party establishment ousted short-termed PM Liz Truss and installed Rishi Sunak in Downing Street — expressly against the wishes of Conservative voters, who had rejected Sunak in favor of Truss in the leadership contest that followed the ousting of Boris Johnson — there are talks again about a change in leadership.

According to a report from Bloomberg, members of Sunak’s Cabinet met recently to discuss the possibility of removing the prime minister before this year’s general election amid growing concerns about the ex-Goldman Sach’s banker’s ability to connect to voters.

The news outlet, citing sources familiar with the talks, said that because there is no consensus among government ministers as to who could possibly step in as PM, Sunak’s position appears to be protected for the immediate future.

Tory insider Harry Cole notes in The Sun newspaper notes the mood in the party has soured as those at the top belatedly realize what outsiders have long known, that things are going desperately wrong. Feelings have “snapped” and top figures now realize Sunak should have been removed months ago, he claimed.

The refusal of Sunak’s government to clamp down on immigration, with a record 1.2 million in net migration coming over the past two years, as well as instituting one of the highest tax burdens on the public since the Second World War despite the economic hardships facing the country following the coronavirus lockdowns and the energy crisis, has seen support for the party collapse.

Sack Sunak? Top Tories Look to Replace PM Before General Election as Polls Collapse and Party Mood Sours

U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon on March 14 heard arguments on two of former President Donald Trump’s several motions to dismiss a case alleging he mishandled classified documents, rejecting one motion by order roughly two hours after court adjourned.“Defendant’s motion is denied without prejudice,” the judge wrote regarding the motion to dismiss based on unconstitutional vagueness.Defense attorneys had argued for dismissal of 32 counts regarding mishandling classified documents under the Presidential Records Act (PRA) and for “unconstitutional vagueness.” However, during the hearing, Judge Cannon seemed unconvinced that those arguments weren’t better suited to the trial stage of the case. These were only two of several motions to dismiss filed by the defense.

Judge Cannon pressed the prosecution to address cases concerning past presidents and vice presidents after Mr. Bratt brought up other officials being prosecuted for retaining classified information.

She asked whether history would not then inform a sitting president of what was acceptable—if past presidents had retained classified information without prosecution, what would lead the next president to believe otherwise? She asked if this would not make it a case of “arbitrary” enforcement.

Mr. Bratt could not name an example. He argued that President Clinton’s tapes did not contain classified information.

House May Refer January 6 Committee Members for Prosecution

House Oversight Committee chairman Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) said Wednesday that he may refer members of the January 6 Committee to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution for hiding and destroying documents.

Loudermilk has been investigating the work of the January 6 Committee, and discovered last year that the Committee had destroyed documents and other records, despite being warned by then-incoming Speaker of the House Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to preserve all of the evidence it had collected in months of investigations and closed-door testimony.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga,, the chairman of the House Administration Oversight Subcommittee, told Just the News he is frustrated that videotapes of interviews, transcripts and other evidence that Congress gathered under the prior Jan. 6 inquiry run by Democrats was deleted, destroyed, moved to other federal agencies or locked behind passwords that have not been recovered, and he believes some form of accountability is warranted.

Loudermilk said that censure or ethical sanctions could also be applied instead of prosecution, given the immunity that members of Congress often enjoy regarding their work due to the separation of powers under the U.S. Constitution.

CIA Deployed Bomb Technicians to Capitol Area on Jan. 6, New Records Show

The Central Intelligence Agency deployed two bomb technicians to assist with a pipe bomb found at the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6 and there were “several CIA dog teams on standby,” according to records obtained by Judicial Watch.

References to CIA involvement on Jan. 6 were included in text messages obtained from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) under a U.S. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit Judicial Watch filed in 2023 against the U.S. Department of Justice.

“These striking records show that CIA resources were deployed in reaction to the January 6 disturbance,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a March 13 news release.

Among the 88 pages of heavily redacted records obtained by Judicial Watch is a group of text messages labeled “Jan. 7 Intel Chain” that includes two references to CIA assets in use or on standby on Jan. 6, 2021.

“FC I has two CIA bomb techs with us—EEO [redacted] in route,” one text read. Just prior, what appeared to be a text from the ATF said, “Our assets: SRT in Capitol with Group I, Groups II and III assisting with pipe-bomb scene on New Jersey and D St. SE.”

The CIA bomb techs are referenced in a text later that afternoon as “helping Capitol Police bomb squad clear Capitol.”

The names of most of the participants in the group text are redacted in the records turned over to Judicial Watch. One name on the text chain is Ashan M. Benedict, the ATF’s incident commander in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6 who in December 2023 became assistant chief of U.S. Capitol Police.

Appeals Court Denies Peter Navarro’s Bid to Delay Jail Term

Former Trump White House aide Peter Navarro’s bid to delay his prison sentence as he appeals his conviction was rejected on March 14 by a federal court.

Mr. Navarro, who was convicted in 2023 of contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 select committee, is slated to report to prison on March 19.

His bid to stay out of prison while he appeals his conviction was turned down initially in February by U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta, who found that the trade adviser to former President Donald Trump failed to pose any substantial questions of law in his motion. Mr. Navarro then asked an appeals court to overturn Judge Mehta’s ruling.

In the decision on March 14, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit rejected the fresh bid.The ruling from the three-judge panel, which included Circuit Judges Patricia Millett, Cornelia Pillard, and Robert Wilkins—all of whom were appointed by former President Barack Obama—was unanimous.

Mr. Navarro argued in filings to the appeals court that, as a senior presidential adviser, he was protected by executive privilege. He said the case presents questions that could be decided the other way and thus the appeals court should grant his motion.

Georgia Judge Expected to Rule on Fani Willis Disqualification—Here’s What We Know

On March 1, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee heard closing arguments regarding a motion to dismiss Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from prosecuting a high-profile racketeering case against former President Donald Trump and 14 others, deciding that he would issue a ruling within two weeks rather than reopening evidence as the parties requested.

The embattled district attorney has been the subject of several complaints and lawmaker investigations in recent weeks, since a defendant’s attorney alleged an improper relationship and misuse of public funds in a Jan. 8 filing in the racketeering case.

The motion was later joined by half of the codefendants.

Weeks after the allegation, in a required Feb. 2 court filing, Mr. Wade and Ms. Willis acknowledged there was a “personal” relationship while arguing that the defense had not met the standard of showing a conflict of interest and accusing Ms. Merchant of trying to “harass” and “embarrass” Ms. Willis.

Judge McAfee then called an evidentiary hearing that spanned three days in mid-February.

Key to whether Judge McAfee will disqualify the district attorney is what standard of law to abide by in making the decision.

Defense attorneys have put forth that the appearance of impropriety alone warrants disqualification, and that case law shows a preponderance of evidence, or 51 percent proof, is enough for the judge to rule in their favor.

Biden Giving Sanctuary New York City Over $100 Million in Aid for Migrants

President Joe Biden will send New York City, a sanctuary jurisdiction, more than $100

million in aid for migrants — including footing the bill for their luxury hotel stays.

Last year, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced that American taxpayers would be forced to subsidize mass migration in New York City to the sum of more than $100 million.

The Biden administration has already sent New York City millions to cover costs associated with migrants, including their housing, food, and social services.

Much of the funding had been held up with paperwork. The New York Daily News, though, reports that the taxpayer money is finally set to be trickled down to migrants living in the Big Apple:

The aid — which has sat untouched since Congress first allocated it last summer — is at long last being authorized for disbursement to the city after Adams’ administration provided the feds last Friday with required budgetary documentation as well as a waiver asking the feds to relax a cap on how much of the money can be used on hotel costs, said Schumer’s office. Under existing rules, only 10% of the total aid earmarked for the city can be used to cover costs related to housing migrants in hotels. FEMA is expected to bump that figure up to 15% in response to the Adams administration’s waiver request, clearing the way for the city to receive the full pot of aid, according to Schumer’s team. [Emphasis added]

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is currently suing several Texas-based charter bus companies for dropping off migrants in the sanctuary city without covering the costs of caring for or housing them.

According to Adams, from April 2022 through December 2023, New Yorkers have been forced to spend $3.5 billion housing, feeding, and clothing nearly 200,000 migrants released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration.

Alvin Bragg Asks for 30-Day Delay in Trump Trial in New York

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg asked a trial court in New York to postpone the criminal trial of former President Donald Trump by 30 days. Trump faces prosecution for allegedly falsifying business records.

Trump’s attorneys had sought a 90-day postponement to consider new documents that had only been handed over recently by federal prosecutors. Bragg offered a 30-day postponement instead.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office, which accused Mr. Trump of covering up a sex scandal during and after the 2016 presidential campaign, said the delay would give Mr. Trump’s lawyers time to review a new batch of records. The office sought the records more than a year ago, but only recently received them from federal prosecutors, who years ago investigated the hush-money payments at the center of the case.

In response to the new records — tens of thousands of pages of them — Mr. Trump’s lawyers requested that the trial be delayed 90 days. Although the former president frequently requests such delays, prosecutors consenting to any postponement makes one far more likely.

Former Treasury Secretary Mnuchin Says He’s Looking to Buy TikTok

Former Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin announced during an interview yesterday on CNBC that he is putting together a group of investors to submit a bid for the acquisition of social media platform TikTok.

This comes one day after the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act passed the House of Representatives by an overwhelming vote of 352–65. The legislation could prohibit the Chinese-controlled social media app in the United States unless it is sold to a U.S.-based owner.

He said that he would allow existing investors in the United States to roll over their holdings in TikTok. He also asserted that no one entity would have more than 10 percent control. However, Mr. Mnuchin avoided naming any of the members of the team that he was assembling, saying only, “I’ve spoken to a bunch of people.”

The former treasury secretary had some thoughts on how TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, and Beijing would respond to a similar situation.

“There’s no way that the Chinese would ever let a U.S. company own something like this in China,” he said.

Mr. Mnuchin claimed that he has seen evidence that having TikTok on one’s phone provides the app with the potential to “collect an awful lot of data,” according to information that he received while working in the Trump administration.

Speaking to the possibility of another U.S.-based tech company buying the app, he said: “I don’t think this should be controlled by any of the big U.S. tech companies. I think there could be antitrust issues on that.”

Former President Donald Trump made a similar statement on March 11, just days before the legislation passed the House. He said he was convinced that there was a national security threat related to TikTok’s app but was concerned that an all-out ban could favor rivals such as Facebook.

Lara Trump: RNC Is ‘Not Paying Any Legal Bills’

Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump said Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Story” that the committee will not be “paying any legal bills.”

During a MeidasTouch Network podcast, Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison said, “As they say, the RNC is down bad. They’re taking out lines of credit, laying off staff. They can’t even afford to spend money on their races down ballot. But, but, this is the good thing: they are paying Donald Trump’s legal bills. So as I said, with you earlier, man, go, Lara, go. Girl, you are doing it. You are knocking it out of the park. Keep doing it.”

Trump reacted, “That’s very cute. We’re not paying any legal bills from the RNC.”

She continued, “Actually, this weekend, I personally had had $2.7 million pledged to me. It was our largest digital fundraising weekend since 2020. So, we’re getting to work. And while things may be changing at the RNC, they’re changing rapidly. And one of the things that’s changing is going to be our fundraising. So they can sit back and watch and I can promise you we are paying attention, not just to the top of the ballot, but all of the down ballot races as well.”

Joe Biden’s Got-Aways: Illegal Alien Wanted for Murder Found Living in Rhode Island

An illegal alien found living in Rhode Island but wanted for murder in his native Honduras is among nearly two million known “got-aways” who have crossed the United States- Mexico border since President Joe Biden took office in 2021.

The Honduran national first crossed the southern border in January 2021 and was removed immediately thanks to Title 42, the public health order that served as a border control but which Biden has since ended.

Later in 2021, the Honduran national successfully crossed the border undetected by Border Patrol agents. In June 2023, he was arrested in Central Falls, Rhode Island, for felony assault with a weapon and arrested again on February 4, 2024, for domestic violence.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents learned that the Honduran national was wanted in his native country on murder charges. On February 7, following his domestic violence arrest, an ICE detainer was lodged against him.

However, a judge in Cranston, Rhode Island, ignored the ICE detainer and released him back into the community. ICE agents arrested him in Warwick, Rhode Island, on February 27, and he remains in federal custody while awaiting deportation.

“It is very disturbing that, despite the serious charges this fugitive faces and the existence of an active immigration detainer filed for his custody, he was released by the court back into the community,” ICE official Todd Lyons said in a statement.

Three Reasons Why Probiotics Should Be Part of Your Program

You’ve likely heard about probiotics and you may even take them for your digestive health, but you may not realize that probiotics have benefits way beyond the belly. Probiotic organisms are beneficial bacteria that support the microflora balance in the gut. The goal is to ensure that the gut’s balance of good bacteria is maintained. It’s easy to have dysbiosis, where the gut’s bacteria is disrupted by antibiotic medications, oral contraceptives, excessive alcohol consumption, and poor diet.

Here are 3 reasons why probiotics should be part of your program:

IMPROVED GUT INTEGRITY

Changes in the gut’s bacteria contribute to conditions like diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Antibiotics are often associated with diarrhea because the cause changes in the gut’s bacteria that contribute to loose stools. Probiotics can reduce that risk. IBS is partially caused by normal bacteria changes, and research suggests probiotics may help alleviate or lessen symptoms like bloating, abdominal pain, and gas.

Your digestive tract has a thin, strong wall of gut barrier cells for protection, but when the gut microbiome is “off”, these cells can become inflamed. Over time, that inflammation creates enough damage to cause leaks in the gut lining (leaky gut syndrome). Probiotics can definitely help.

GUT-BRAIN CONNECTION

Gut health primarily benefits digestion but it is about so much more. Multitudes of scientific evidence show the communication and connection between the gut and the brain. Gut health does play a role in supporting memory, focus and mood. Gut health is tied to sleep, too. Stress is known to affect the mind and gut; if you are experiencing stress, make sure to take probiotic supplements. Keeping your gut healthy with probiotics has far-reaching benefits.

GUT-IMMUNE CONNECTION

Did you know that most of your immune system –about 70% — resides in your gut? It’s true, and probiotics can help improve that immune response to keep your immune system functioning normally. When you are ill, the gut bacteria often become unbalanced so it is important to replenish your gut flora with good bacteria. Research shows that probiotics can reduce the length of time and severity of colds and the flu.

Probiotics can help stimulate the growth of good bacteria while also protecting against disease-causing bacteria. Together, this mix of microorganisms is known as the gut microbiota or gut microbiome, and it plays a key role in the health of the human body. All probiotics are not created equal; it’s important to have one that is shelf-stable and formulated for on-target release in the gut.

Consider Living Streams Multi-Blend Liquid Probiotic @ The Power Mall (also great for your animals!)

Living Streams Multi-Blend Probiotic is a totally NEW, unique friendly flora liquid solution. This product is the direct result of years of research and development, and could well be one of the most beneficial biological products in support of good health ever discovered. The secret is in the “solution” the friendly flora produce, NOT in the bacteria themselves or the quantity of bacteria.

Living Streams Multi-Blend Liquid Probiotic is a natural by-product of friendly bio-organisms (probiotics) that have been specially cultured and developed to produce the natural anti-infective substances the human body was meant to receive from flora in the intestinal tract. However, because of processed foods, (for both humans and animals) lack of enzymes and other nutrients, poor quality intestinal flora and other health stresses, even the normal amounts of these substances that would otherwise be there are missing in most animals and people.

Cashews Sold at Walmart Stores Recalled Due to Potentially ‘Life-Threatening’ Undeclared Allergens: FDA

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced a voluntary recall involving certain cashews sold by manufacturer John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. (JBSS), the parent company of Great Value brand products, at multiple Walmart stores across the United States.

Officials said the recall is due to some of the cans of cashews being incorrectly labeled without the proper allergen warnings—specifically not declaring they contain coconut and milk.

The recall involves a specific lot of 8.25 oz Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews, according to a March 12 notice from the federal agency.

The potentially affected products are packaged in a plastic can with a blue wrap around the label and have a “best used by”date of July 8, 2025 GH2.

Additionally, the product’s Universal Product Code (UPC) is 078742133348.

“The recall was initiated after a consumer report of finding coconut cashews within a container labeled as honey-roasted cashews,” the FDA said in the notice.

Consumers who have the product are being warned not to eat it and instead discard it or return the product to a Walmart store for a full refund.

According to the FDA, the recalled cashews were distributed in select Walmart stores across 30 states.

They are as follows: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, and West Virginia.

The recalled items were also sold online at Walmart.com.

CDC Warns of Increasing Potentially Deadly Outbreaks From Drinking Tap Water

A deadly bacteria found in drinking water systems across the country is causing an alarming rise in outbreaks and deaths, according to a new report from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Legionella-associated outbreaks are now the leading cause of water-related outbreaks, hospitalizations, and deaths throughout the nation, according to the CDC. Legionella, a type of bacteria that can form hazardous biofilms, is responsible for causing the potentially fatal Legionnaires’ disease, a severe form of pneumonia.

Between 2015 and 2020, Legionella was the bacteria “most implicated” in outbreaks associated with public water systems, causing 92 percent of such outbreaks, the CDC noted in its newest report “Surveillance of Waterborne Disease Outbreaks Associated with Drinking Water.”

The number of Legionella-associated outbreaks in the U.S. fluctuated annually, with 14 outbreaks in 2015, 31 in 2016, 30 in 2017, 34 in 2018, and 33 in 2019, before declining to 18 in 2020. Collectively, these Legionella-associated outbreaks accounted for 37 percent of all waterborne illnesses (876 cases), 97 percent of hospitalizations (544 cases), and 98 percent of deaths (86 cases) during the five-year period, according to the report.  One out of every 10 people who contract the disease will die from complications. Alarmingly, the death rate surges to one in four for those who acquire it during a stay in a healthcare facility.

Even One Joint per Week Enough to Boost Heart Disease Risk: Study

Lighting up a joint once or more a week? That puff of marijuana could be seriously hurting your heart.

A new study finds that even relatively infrequent cannabis use is linked to higher risks of having a heart attack or stroke—and the more you smoke, the more danger you’re in.

The large-scale research presents some of the most damning evidence yet about marijuana’s impact on cardiovascular health.

Using cannabis is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, even among non-tobacco smokers, according to a new study published in the Journal of the American Heart Association. Previous research had linked marijuana use to heart disease risk, but those findings were often dismissed because many participants also smoked tobacco, which has long been linked to various cardiovascular issues.

In the new study, researchers analyzed data from over 434,000 patients aged 18 to 74, collected between 2016 and 2020 from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey.

About 75 percent of the study participants said smoking was the most common way they consumed marijuana, but they also reported using edibles and vaping. However, the researchers did not specifically compare the risks of smoking marijuana versus consuming edibles.

Study details why phase 3 trial of GSK’s RSV vaccine for pregnant women was halted early

The pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) abandoned a maternal vaccine because there was an unexplained higher incidence of preterm birth among infants whose mothers received the shot, the company has disclosed in a new study.

Among women who received GSK’s respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, known as RSVPreF3-Mat, during pregnancy, 237 had infants born prematurely. Just 89 in the placebo group suffered the same problem.

Of the vaccinated women, 6.8 percent had infants born prematurely, compared with 4.9 percent of women who received a placebo, researchers reported in the New England Journal of Medicine.

“For every 54 infants born to women who received RSVPreF3-Mat rather than placebo during pregnancy, one additional preterm birth occurred,” the researchers said.

If the phase III trial results had been better, it would have likely been the last test before regulatory approval.

Researchers were unable to determine why infants of vaccinated women were more likely to be born prematurely.

Investigators also found that seven infants who were born preterm and whose mothers received a shot died. Zero preterm infants whose mothers received a placebo died.

Kellogg’s Shareholder: Company Is ‘Knowingly Harming Our Children’ with Additives, Dyes

Kellogg’s is facing even more backlash amidst a mass boycott of their products after one of the company’s shareholders publicly demanded accountability for the “harmful additives” in their products.

Jason Karp, founder of health food company HumanCo and investor in Kellogg’s, has teamed up with celebrity attorney Alex Spiro to get the cereal manufacturer to get rid of “harmful artificial dyes, such as Red 40, Yellow 6, and Blue 1, as well as the preservative BHT.”

“When a company is knowingly harming our children to make a little extra money, we have to stand up and do what is right,” Karp wrote in a statement on X alongside an activist letter he filed with Spiro against Kellogg’s.

The Thursday letter is demanding the company to “stop their unethical behavior of selling inferior, more harmful versions of their products to American children.”

In other countries such as Canada, Japan, and the U.K, Karp pointed out that certain additives in American Kellogg’s products are completely banned. In EU countries, food companies must put a “warning label on products with these ingredients, stating they ‘may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children,’” the investor wrote.

“Kellogg knows that these artificial additives can harm children,” Karp alleged, citing research from the Center for Science in the Public Interest that said the dyes can cause organ damage, cancer, birth defects, allergic reactions, and behavioral problems in children.

Nervous System Disorders Now Top Cause of Illness

Conditions affecting the nervous system — such as strokes, migraines and dementia — have surged past heart disease to become the leading cause of ill health worldwide, a major new analysis said on Friday.

More than 3.4 billion people — 43 percent of the global population — experienced a neurological condition in 2021, far more than had previously been thought, the analysis found.

The study was carried out by hundreds of researchers led by the US-based Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), which has become a global reference for health statistics.

SpaceX launches giant Starship rocket into space on epic 3rd test flight (video)

SpaceX’s Starship megarocket, the world’s largest and most powerful rocket, reached orbital speed for the first time Thursday in a historic third test flight from South Texas.

Hundreds of Spring Break spectators, rocket launch chasers and SpaceX fans gathered along the southern shores of South Padre Island and surrounding areas to witness the third test flight of the biggest rocket ever built. About 5 miles (8 kilometers) south of the crowds, SpaceX’s massive Starship vehicle lifted off this morning (March 14) at 9:25 a.m. EDT (1325 GMT) from the company’s manufacturing and test launch facilities near Boca Chica Beach.

“Starship reached orbital velocity,” SpaceX founder Elon Musk announced on X(formerly Twitter) after liftoff. The launch occurred on the 22nd anniversary of SpaceX’s founding in 2002, the company said.

Neither the Starship vehicle nor its Super Heavy booster survived all the way through to their intended splashdown, but SpaceX officials said the test flight achieved several of its key goals during the flight.

It Begins: AI Is Being Used To Deceive Voters, Disrupt Elections Worldwide

The WEF, UN, and the global elitists want to destroy democracy worldwide, even as they say that they will save democracy. The WEF’s main topic in its 2024 meetup in Davos was “disinformation” that threatens its existence, even as calls went out to Big Tech, governments, and  “Fact Checkers” to harness AI to do away with dissent. Thus, the article below should be understood as a Trojan Horse to mask the institutional deceivers while blaming the rest on everybody else.

The civilized world is about to take a huge blow to reality as people lose their ability to discern truth from propaganda. This is a simulacrum.

As I wrote in Warning : Reality Is Escaping Out The Back Door in 2023,

Jean Baudrillard wrote about this in a 1981 paper called “The Precession of Simulacra”, where he digs deeper, making a distinction between a simulation and a simulacrum.

Whereas representation attempts to absorb simulation by interpreting it as a false representation, simulation envelops the whole edifice of representation itself as a simulacrum. Such would be the successive phases of the image:

it is the reflection of a profound reality;

it masks and denatures a profound reality;

it masks the absence of a profound reality;

it has no relation to any reality whatsoever;

it is its own pure simulacrum.

So, the switch for reality is anti-reality: “The simulacrum is never what hides the truth – it is truth that hides the fact that there is none.”

Police: Florida Mom Attempted to Sell Baby for $500 Before Abandoning Her with Stranger

A Florida mother has been jailed for allegedly abusing her baby, after attempting to sell

her to a concerned stranger for $500 and abandoning her.
Jessica Woods, 33, was identified as a frequent loiterer by an employee at a Palatka H&R Block location

prior to her arrest, the New York Post reported.
On March 4, Woods was seen hitting her 18-month-old inside the tax office’s bathroom, according to a

probable cause affidavit obtained by the Daily Mail.

The next morning, Woods was reportedly found sleeping on an air conditioning unit outside the location while her daughter was inside a nearby shopping cart, completely unprotected from the elements and other danger.

The H&R Block employee then asked Woods if she needed help, to which she allegedly responded by demanding money.

Instead of cash, the worker offered to purchase them items that they may need. However, the mother became so enraged that she allegedly “threw her child” before taking her and leaving.

Woods had returned with her baby later in the day when the same employee saw the little girl about to crawl into traffic.

After the worker picked up the baby — most likely saving her life — she was allegedly asked by Woods if she would like to buy the child.

“Woods told the citizen she did not need anything but, offered to sell the child to the citizen for $500.00,” the Palatka Police Department said. “When the citizen refused to purchase the child, Woods walked away, leaving her daughter behind.”

The employee “immediately” brought the baby to the police department and reported the incident. The child has since been placed in foster care, officials said.

Woods has been charged with six felonies, including child abuse, child neglect, and abandonment of a child.

She was booked into Putnam County Jail with a bond of $255,000, the Post reported.
