Globalist groups demand US close military over ‘climate change’
(Can you believe the stupidity of this bunch?)
A report published this month by globalist dark money groups calls on the US to shut down the military for the climate.
“Not Just Less Pollution — Less Military,” reads a policy recommendation in the report published by the Climate and Community Project (CCP) and Common Wealth, two think tanks funded by George Soros’ Open Society Foundations. “Scaling back military operations and hardware acquisition is essential to emissions mitigation.” The groups also urge the military to start closing bases, which are “unnecessary in a foreign policy agenda that prioritises peace and cooperation.”
“There must be a reduction in the US and UK military’s sprawling infrastructural footprint. Base closure processes should include environmental assessments and financing for environmental remediation.”
But before it closes, the US military should pay $106 billion in “climate reparations,” adds the report, with the British military contributing $5 billion. According to climate calculations shown in the report, both countries should “introduce a specific military-focused climate reparations approach alongside other leading military powers.”
This $111 billion should be placed in a “global superfund” that will be used to help countries affected by “climate change.”

The rally was larger than similar events to support Israel during the terror of the second Palestinian intifada in 2002, and a rally to support Soviet Jews trying to leave the USSR in 1987.
House Passes Funding Plan with Overwhelming Democrat Support
The House passed a continuing resolution Tuesday to extend spending levels from a lame duck session last December by Democratic House and Senate majorities into 2024.
The final tally was 336-95. A whopping 209 Democrats supported the measure, far more than the 127 Republicans in favor.
Freedom Caucus Opposes Stop-Gap Spending Bill: No ‘Meaningful’ Wins for the ‘American People’
The House Freedom Caucus said in a Tuesday statement that it opposes a stop-gap spending bill that does not contain any border security or spending cuts.
“The House Freedom Caucus opposes the proposed ‘clean’ Continuing Resolution as it contains no spending reductions, no border security, and not a single meaningful win for the American People,” the Freedom Caucus said in a written statement. “Republicans must stop negotiating against ourselves over fears of what the Senate may do with the promise ‘roll over today and we’ll fight tomorrow.’”
Trump Listed on Michigan Presidential Primary Ballot Despite Legal Fight to Block Him
Several left-leaning groups have sued to block the former president from the state’s ballot on 14th Amendment grounds.
Former President Donald Trump has officially—at least for now—made it onto the 2024 presidential primary candidate list in Michigan, even though a legal battle that seeks to block him from being listed remains pending.
The list, released on Nov. 13 by Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, marks a significant step (though not the final word) in President Trump’s efforts to stay on the ballot after activists sued Ms. Benson to force her to drop him.
While several left-leaning groups have sued to block President Trump from the ballot in Michigan on 14th Amendment grounds, the former president’s legal team has demanded that Ms. Benson keep him on.
Michigan Judge Rules to Keep Trump on the Ballot
Michigan rejected efforts to remove the former president from the ballot under the 14th Amendment.
A Michigan judge echoed the Minnesota Supreme Court’s recent decision that 14th Amendment challenges to keep former President Donald Trump off the state primary ballot as he seeks reelection are premature.
Michigan Court of Claims Judge James Robert Redford wrote on Tuesday that “plaintiffs cannot show that they are entitled to a declaratory judgment,” because Michigan state law requires the secretary of state to put major candidates identified in the media on the primary ballot. Yesterday, Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson did just that, including President Trump on the list.
The judge’s new order addresses three separate cases—one brought by a local advocate, another by Free Speech for People representing a handful of local voters, and one brought by President Trump. All three were petitions against Ms. Benson, arguing over whether her office had the authority to disqualify candidates from presidential primary ballots, and whether President Trump was disqualified under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
Parts of videotaped testimony from Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, Kenneth Chesebro and Scott Hall were leaked to two outlets.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ office is seeking an emergency protective order after parts of videos from key witnesses in her election interference case against former President Donald Trump and others were leaked to two news outlets.
“The release of these confidential video recordings is clearly intended to intimidate witnesses in this case, subjecting them to harassment and threats prior to trial,” the DA’s office said in a court filing Tuesday after parts of the videotaped statements of lawyers Jenna Ellis, Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro and bail bondsman Scott Hall were made public.
The four were among the original 19 defendants charged in the racketeering case in August and have all pleaded guilty to related charges. The footage, known as proffer videos, was made pursuant to the defendants’ plea agreements, which required that they provide true and accurate information to prosecutors.
Judge Scott McAfee scheduled a hearing on the emergency motion for Wednesday.
House Republicans issue criminal referral against Michael Cohen over NY fraud trial testimony
Two Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee have recommended the Justice Department look at pursuing charges against former Trump attorney Michael Cohen for contradictory testimony he gave last month in former President Trump’s fraud trial in New York.
The criminal referral letter — sent by House Intelligence Chair Mike Turner (R-Ohio) and committee member Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) — accuses Cohen of committing perjury and having “knowingly made false statements” before the congressional panel four years ago.

House Votes Against Progressing Mayorkas Impeachment Effort
The House has voted to keep Marjorie Taylor Greene’s impeachment resolution naming DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in committee.
The House of Representatives has voted against progressing a resolution to impeach Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Nov. 13, pulling the brakes on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-Ga.) effort to challenge the official overseeing the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis.
A Democrat motion sought to send the resolution back to the Homeland Security Committee, which is conducting its own investigation into Mr. Mayokas. Eight Republicans joined Democrats to pass the motion in a 209-201 vote.
After the vote, Ms. Greene had a message to the Republicans who voted with Democrats to shelve her resolution. “They’re gonna have to face their voters. The American people are fed up,” she told reporters.

A former fundraiser for the New York Republican congressman George Santos pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a federal charge of wire fraud, which could put him behind bars for more than two years.
Sam Miele admitted to a single count of wire fraud relating to impersonating a senior aide to the then House speaker Kevin McCarthy. The ruse was part of a fundraising scheme conducted in 2021 to raise money for Santos’s bid for a seat in the US House of Representatives.
Miele was charged with four counts of wire fraud in August. Prosecutors said he pretended to be a “high-ranking aide to a member of the House with leadership responsibilities”, taking on the persona in order to solicit donations over the phone.

Inflation Slows in October to 3.2 Percent
The U.S. annual inflation rate eased to 3.2 percent in October, coming in slightly lower than the consensus estimate of 3.3 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). This is notably down from 3.7 percent in September.
Last month, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was unchanged at zero percent monthly.
Core inflation, which strips the volatile energy and food components, slowed to 4 percent year over year, down from 4.1 percent in September and slightly under the market forecast of 4.1 percent.
EV Disaster: Tesla Competitor Fisker Suffers Weak Revenues, Slashes Production Targets
Fisker, a competitor of Tesla in the electric vehicle (EV) market, has released the results of a tough quarter featuring lower-than-expected revenue. The bad news didn’t stop there — the company also announced it would slash its annual production target on its Ocean SUV to just 13,000-17,000 cars from its projection of 20,000-23,000 this year.

Publicly traded companies are required to file an SEC form S-4 to register any material information related to a merger or acquisition.

CDC Urges Caution After 22 Toddlers Poisoned by Lead Linked to Applesauce Pouches
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned health care providers about potential cases of high blood lead levels in children after consuming certain cinnamon-flavored applesauce products.
The CDC issued a health advisory on Nov. 13, stating that as of Nov. 7, at least 22 toddlers aged between 1 and 3 had been found to have high blood lead levels after eating cinnamon-flavored applesauce products.
The cases were reported in 14 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.

This gene-editing therapy could cure sickle cell disease, and it’s close to FDA approval
A breakthrough treatment for sickle cell patients could soon become the first gene-editing treatment to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an inherited blood disorder that affects roughly 100,000 Americans, most of whom are Black. The disease causes red blood cells to become sickle or c-shaped, clumping together and clogging blood vessels, causing pain and other complications.
There is only one approved treatment that can cure sickle cell disease: a bone marrow transplant in which a healthy donor offers stem cells that create red blood cells in the sick patient. In the vast majority of cases, the best donor is the patient’s fully related sibling, but even then, a sibling only has a 1 in 4 chance of being a match.
“Only about 18 percent, or less than 1 in 5 individuals, will have a suitable match. And the best match possible is a sibling who happens to have the same tissue type that they do, but only about less than 20 percent of sickle cell patients will have a sibling with an appropriate match,” said Alexis Thompson, chief of the Division of Hematology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
As a result, doctors and regulators are highly interested in a new treatment known as exagamglogene autotemcel (exa-cel), which was developed through a partnership between Vertex Pharmaceuticals and CRISPR Therapeutics.
This treatment takes a patient’s stem cells and edits them to produce more fetal hemoglobin, an abundance of which has been observed to cause red blood cells to not “sickle.”
The idea of altering a person’s genes to potentially cure a disease sounds like science fiction, but gene therapy has been used more and more in medicine in recent years.

Gov. Kathy Hochul: NY Collecting Data from ‘Surveillance Efforts’ on Social Media
New York is reportedly collecting data from what Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) described as “surveillance efforts” on social media platforms, and is launching an effort to “counter some of the negativity.”
Speaking Monday, Hochul announced that the state is “very focused on the data we’re collecting from surveillance efforts [and] what’s being said on social media platforms,” admitting to government surveillance. What is more, Hochul said they have “launched an effort to be able to counter some of the negativity and reach out to people” when they see what they deem to be “hate speech being spoken about on online platforms.”

Nolte: Study Shows New York Green Switch Will Skyrocket Residential Costs
New Yorkers are about to get an expensive taste of what they voted for as the state’s inevitable green changeover hits their pocketbooks, per a new study.
The Empire Center for Public Policy warns that in 2030, “New York may begin a policy of forcing New York families to use electricity for home heating instead of fuels like heating oil, propane and natural gas.”
The study, which is titled “In Cold Reality: The Cost and Challenge of Compulsory Home Electrification in New York,” offers a ton of data to make two crucial points…
- “New York’s plan to steer homeowners and landlords toward electric heat could backfire due to high costs and practical concerns.”
- “The global effect of the costly program of compulsory electrification will be a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of less than 0.05 percent.” The study goes on to warn that in “choosing this approach, New York has closed the door on a more affordable means of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, clean fuel standards that promote biodiesel and renewable propane.”
Greta Thunberg has come under fire for her pro-Palestine stance by Jewish groups, as the German branch of climate movement Fridays for Future also distanced itself from her.
Ms Thunberg, wearing a Palestinian black and white scarf, had urged ‘ceasefire now’ at a climate protest in Amsterdam on Sunday before a man grabbed her microphone and said: ‘I’ve come for a climate demonstration, not a political view.’
The 20-year-old eco-protester had accused ‘the people in power of not listening’ to the ‘voices of those who are being oppressed’ in the Gaza Strip during her speech in front of tens of thousands of climate demonstrators.

US Supreme Court Rejects Challenge to COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate
The Supreme Court released an unsigned order saying it would decline to take up the case.
The U.S. Supreme Court on Nov. 13 declined to take up a lawsuit filed by four New Jersey nurses to challenge a now-scrapped state COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
The justices will not examine a U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals decision that dismissed the nurses’ challenge as moot. In the Supreme Court’s list of orders released on Nov. 13, the court rejected an appeal in the case, Katie Sczesny, et al. v. Murphy, Gov. of New Jersey, et al. In early 2022, New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy issued an executive order that “unvaccinated covered workers must obtain their first dose of the primary series of a COVID-19 vaccination by January 27, 2022,” adding that those workers have to give “adequate proof” they’ve received all their shots by Feb. 28 of that year. Those who do not provide sufficient proof “must be considered noncompliant.”

Texas Bishop Joseph Strickland Speaks Out About His Removal by Pope Francis
‘I encourage those upset or confused by the development to pray for the pope and not to leave the Church,’ he said.
Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, was forcibly removed from his office by Pope Francis on Saturday morning.
“They had the authority to remove me from diocesan governance, but I encourage those upset or confused by the development to pray for the pope and not to leave the Church,” Bishop Strickland wrote on Facebook on Monday morning.
The news from the Vatican shocked and angered many who supported the 65-year-old bishop’s respect of traditional Catholic teachings.
Bishop Strickland, who has served as the fourth bishop of the Diocese of Tyler since 2012, has been outspoken in his criticisms of Pope Francis’ progressive views on the LGBTQ community within the church.
In June, Pope Francis ordered an investigation into the pastoral governance of the Tyler Diocese by Bishop Dennis Sullivan of Camden, New Jersey, and Bishop Emeritus Gerald Kicanas of Tucson, Arizona.
“After months of careful consideration by the Dicastery for Bishops and the Holy Father, the decision was reached that the resignation of Bishop Strickland should be requested,” according to a statement by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
