“It’s A Powder Keg”: Steve Bannon Warns Tucker Ireland’s Post-Stabbing Anti-Immigration Crisis Is “Coming Here, At Scale”

Tucker Carlson sat down with Steve Bannon to discuss last week’s terrorist incident in Ireland – where an Algerian immigrant went on a stabbing spree in downtown Dublin, attacking five people – including three children. Following the stabbing, anti-immigrant riots broke out across the country over the government’s general pro-immigrant policies.

“Several days ago, a man in his 50s for reasons that are still not clear stabbed five people outside a school in Dublin, Ireland, including three children, and then almost immediately after, parts of that City erupted into rioting,” said Carlson, adding “The Washington Post stepped in helpfully to explain, here’s the Tweet The Washington Post sent out quote ‘online rumors claimed the perpetrator of a stabbing attack was an immigrant’.”

“Actually, the man was an immigrant,” Carlson continued. “He was from Algeria and as it turns out he’s been living in Ireland for 23 years at public expense, he has never had a job.”

City Councillor Said Shoot Ireland Rioters in the Head, ‘Beat Them Until They Die’

The Irish political establishment has generally responded with more disgust to the Dublin riot last week than the mass stabbing that pressaged it, but none as strongly, perhaps as Councilman Abul Kalam Azad Talukder who said he wanted those responsible killed.

Limerick councillor who responded to last Thursday’s riots by declaring “hate will never win” appears susceptible to the emotion himself, having also ranted that protesters should be shot and beaten to death. Irish outlets including Gript and The Limerick Post have reported on remarks made by councillor Azad Talukder — chairman of the Metropolitan District of Limerick and “businessman and taxi driver by trade” — made at the City and Country Council on Monday in which he made his incendiary claims.

Meet the Israeli History Teacher Arrested & Jailed for Facebook Posts Opposing Killing of Palestinians

On November 9, Israeli police arrested Jerusalem history and civics teacher Meir Baruchin after he posted a message on Facebook about his opposition to the killing of innocent Palestinian civilians. Police seized his phone and two laptops before interrogating him on suspicion of committing an act of treason and intending to disrupt public order. After being in jail for four days, Baruchin was freed but lost his job as a teacher and is still facing charges. “These days Israeli citizens who are showing the slightest sentiment for the people of Gaza, opposing killing of innocent civilians, they are being politically persecuted, they go through public shaming, they lose their jobs, they are being put in jail,” says Baruchin, who says if he had been Palestinian, he would have faced more violence.

Israel and Hamas Agree to Extend Temporary Truce

Hamas has supplied Israel with a new list of women and children for release.

The humanitarian ceasefire between Israel and Hamas was extended early Thursday morning, shortly before the six-day truce was set to expire.

“The operational pause will continue in light of the mediators’ efforts to continue the process of releasing the hostages and subject to the terms of the framework,” the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) announced on X, formerly Twitter. The announcement came minutes before the expiration of the truce.

The conditions of the ceasefire, including the halt of hostilities and the entry of humanitarian aid, remain the same, according to a foreign ministry spokesperson from Qatar.

Glenn Greenwald: Is Facebook Operating as an Arm of the Israeli State by Removing Palestinian Posts?

Facebook is being accused of censoring Palestinian activists who protest the Israeli occupation. This comes as Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked reportedly said in December that Tel Aviv had submitted 158 requests to Facebook over the previous four months asking it to remove content it deemed “incitement,” and said Facebook had granted 95 percent of the requests. We speak with Pulitzer Prize winner Glenn Greenwald about his new report for The Intercept headlined “Facebook Says It Is Deleting Accounts at the Direction of the U.S. and Israeli Governments.”

Xi Jinping Demands Communists Bend International Law to China’s Will

Chinese dictator Xi Jinping led a “study session” at the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party on Monday, during which he stressed the need to “create law-based governance conditions and a favorable external environment for advancing Chinese modernization.”

In other words, he instructed Communist officials to bend international law to China’s will.

FIRST READING: Federal commission declares Christmas holiday is ‘religious intolerance’

The Canadian Human Rights Commission — an agency with broad judicial powers that is fully funded by the federal government — has declared that the celebration of Christmas is evidence of Canada’s “colonialist” religious intolerance.

“Discrimination against religious minorities in Canada is grounded in Canada’s history of colonialism,” reads a Discussion Paper on Religious Intolerance published last month by the agency.

“An obvious example is statutory holidays in Canada,” it adds, noting that the Christian holidays of Christmas and Easter get days off, while non-Christians have to “request special accommodations to observe their holy days.”

The thrust of the paper, first reported by Blacklock’s Reporter, is that Canada is replete with religious intolerance and always has been. “In order to move forward towards sustainable change, all Canadians must first acknowledge Canada’s history of religious intolerance,” it reads.

This is despite the fact that the free exercise of religion has been Canadian law since before Confederation — a state of affairs that would have been conspicuously rare in the world of the 19th century.

In 1851, the colonial Province of Canada even enacted the Freedom of Worship Act, which protected “free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and worship, without discrimination or preference.”

Reports: Bank Protests Once Again Rock China’s Henan Province After Violent 2022 Crackdown

Protesters once again stormed banks in China’s Henan province last weekend, a little over a year after the authoritarian regime violently crushed mass demonstrations by depositors who wanted to pull their life savings out of collapsing financial institutions.

Images shared online by Chinese dissident outlets on Tuesday suggested that groups of depositors organized on November 26 outside of banks in Nanyang, a city in Henan province, demanding the bank hand over their money.

Pro-Palestinian Activists Disrupt Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting

Another cadre of pro-Palestinian activists attempted to disrupt the much beloved Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting on Wednesday night.

The protesters, estimated in the hundreds, swarmed the surrounding areas of Rockefeller Center and were seen clashing with police while chanting anti-Israel slogans like “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

“Waving Palestinian flags and signs calling for the ‘end to genocide,’ the ralliers gathered along Sixth Avenue alongside hordes of tourists waiting in line to see the iconic ceremony,” reported the New York Post.

Henry Kissinger Has Died at the Age of 100

He died at his home in Connecticut.

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, a key figure in shaping U.S. foreign policy during the late 20th century, has died at the age of 100.

Mr. Kissinger died at his home in Connecticut on Wednesday, according to Kissinger Associates, Inc.

A German-born American diplomat, he served as secretary of state for two presidents. While serving under Republican President Richard Nixon in the 1970s, Mr. Kissinger, Ph.D., played a key role in many significant global events.

Biden Sends Emails to 813,000 Borrowers Celebrating Student Loan Forgiveness

The administration has canceled $127 billion in student debt with hopes to expand those efforts via regulation.

The first of roughly 813,000 student loan borrowers will be notified via email on Nov. 28 that their federal loans were forgiven, the White House has announced.

The email, shared ahead of time with The Epoch Times, includes a message for borrowers from President Joe Biden congratulating them on their debt forgiveness and urging them to share their stories of “what this relief means” to them.

“For too long, the student loan program failed to live up to its commitments – and millions like you never got the relief you were owed because of errors and administrative failures,” the missive reads. “I vowed to fix that, and I’m proud that my Administration has delivered on that promise.”

Special Counsel Jack Smith Demands X/Twitter Give Info on All Americans Who Interacted with Donald Trump

Special Counsel Jack Smith, in a search warrant sent to X, formerly Twitter, requested a vast swathe of information about the account of former President Donald J. Trump, as well as information on the millions of accounts that interacted with it — even those that liked a tweet by Trump in the timeframe of October 2020 to January 2021.

The heavily redacted search warrant requests a list of all users who liked or retweeted posts from Trump between October 2020 and January 2021, including “all associated logs and metadata,” which could cover location data. This extraordinarily expansive request would result in data on millions of American users being turned over to the DOJ.

Trump Seeks Evidence of 2020 Election Fraud in Federal Criminal Case

Lawyers of President Trump argue that his concerns about fraud in the 2020 election ‘were plausible and maintained in good faith.’

Lawyers for former President Donald Trump are asking a federal court in Washington to compel federal prosecutors to turn over evidence suggesting the existence of election fraud in the 2020 election, which they say will aid President Trump’s defense in the case.

President Trump’s lawyers argue in a pretrial motion (pdf) filed late Monday that the former president’s concerns related to fraud in the 2020 presidential election “were plausible and maintained in good faith,” citing numerous official investigations after the election that found alleged evidence of foreign influence in the election.

In a line of argument that experts say sheds light on President Trump’s defense strategy at trial, the lawyers state that President Trump in 2020 was “not obligated to credit” assessment by officials who said there was no evidence of election fraud, and that foreign actors may have sought to influence the election.

Deutsche Bank Actively Sought Out Trump’s Business, Former Managing Director Testifies in NY Civil Trial

A former banker with Deutsche Bank’s private wealth management team has provided details on how the relationship with the Trump Organization grew over time

The civil fraud trial of former President Donald Trump ground onward Wednesday as defense witness Rosemary Vrablic, a former managing director of Deutsche Bank, explained how, under direct orders from her superiors, she actively sought to expand the global bank’s business relations with the Trump Organization and give it a central role in his ambitious real estate ventures.

Throughout the trial, the government lawyers have sought to depict President Trump—along with his sons and daughter, who are not defendants but have testified at length—as real estate grifters who exaggerated the value of Trump’s assets in the hope of securing better terms for bank loans and insurance policies.

In her Wednesday direct examination, Ms. Vrablic described how her superiors at Deutsche Bank repeatedly encouraged her to woo the Trump family and court their business—not the other way around. Her statements affirm the general gist of the former president’s testimony on the stand earlier this month and that of Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka Trump. Often cited during the direct examination were emails from her superiors requesting that she take steps to bring Mr. Trump and his organization closer into the Deutsche Bank fold and treat members of the organization as VIPs.

Trump Conviction Wouldn’t Deter Home Depot Billionaire’s Support

‘The new war in the Middle East will present great challenges for the free world for some time,’ Bernie Marcus wrote in an op-ed.

Bernie Marcus, the billionaire who founded Home Depot and served as its first CEO, threw his support behind former President Donald Trump and said in a new interview that the support would continue even if the GOP frontrunner is convicted.

President Trump has pleaded not guilty to 91 criminal counts in four separate indictments and faces a busy court schedule as he campaigns to seek reelection.

Reuters asked Mr. Marcus whether he would continue to back President Trump if he were convicted.

Supreme Court to Hear Case That Could Upend Administrative Courts’ Power

Supreme Justices to deliberate constitutionality of administrative law within the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

The U.S. Supreme Court is set to hear oral argument on the constitutionality of administrative law courts within the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Nov. 29 — teeing up yet another opportunity this term for justices to review bureaucrats’ power.

SEC v. Jarkesy involves a hedge fund manager, George Jarkesy, whom the agency penalized for violating securities fraud law. More specifically, the SEC imposed a civil penalty of $300,000 on Mr. Jarkesy after bringing an administrative proceeding against him.

The agency ultimately agreed with the administrative law judge’s conclusion that Mr. Jarkesy had violated securities law.

74 arrested in Las Vegas human trafficking sting — all suspects believed they were ‘meeting a child for sex’

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police conducted a massive sting operation that resulted in the arrest of over 70 individuals reportedly attempting to meet minors for sex.

During the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, a busy weekend for the city, LVMPD conducted an anti-sex-trafficking operation that yielded impressive results for one of the department’s highest priorities.

According to KTNV Las Vegas, law enforcement revealed that 36 individuals were arrested for alleged pandering (also known as trafficking), with another 31 arrested for allegedly soliciting services. Seven were arrested for allegedly luring a child.

Disturbingly, LVMPD Officer Hector Cintron said that all of the suspects who were taken into custody believed they were “meeting a child for sex.”

Exclusive – Vivek Ramaswamy: AFP Action Endorsement Makes Haley Candidate of ‘Establishment Puppet Masters’

Republican presidential Vivek Ramaswamy told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview Wednesday that the Koch-backed group Americans for Prosperity Action’s endorsement of former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) shows “the establishment puppet masters chose their establishment candidate,” which he finds unsurprising.

It was revealed on Tuesday that AFP Action, the political arm of the AFP linked to establishment Republican mega-donor Charles Koch and his late brother David, had endorsed Haley, dealing a significant blow to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in particular. What is more, the network of establishment donors plans to dump tens of millions of dollars in the primary, according to ABC Washington Chief Correspondent John Karl.

ECONOMY & BUSINESS

Bidenflation: U.S. Households Are Spending an Extra $11,400 Annually to Afford Basics

The average U.S. household needs an extra $11,434 per year just to maintain the same standard of living they had only a few years ago, before inflation hit record highs under the Biden administration.

A Tuesday CBS News Moneywatch report used government data to determine how much Americans paid to live in January 2021 compared to today, finding that the typical family just can’t compete with the 40-year record-high inflation.

US Economy Grew Faster in 3rd Quarter Than Expected; Cooling Signals Warrant Caution

America’s economy grew faster than initially thought in the 3rd quarter of 2023, though on the income side the numbers look more gloomy and growth is cooling.

The U.S. economy grew faster in the 3rd quarter than previously expected, although the numbers look more gloomy when looked at from the income side, and, since then, economic data suggests that momentum has waned and growth is cooling.

Gross domestic product (GDP) rose at a 5.2 percent annualized rate last quarter, revised up from the previously reported 4.9 percent pace, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) said in its second estimate of third-quarter GDP, released on Nov. 29.

The 5.2 percent pace of expansion was the fastest since the fourth quarter of 2021, with the acceleration in third-quarter GDP mostly because of an uptick in consumer spending and private inventory investment.

Ransomware Attack on Title and Escrow Company Impacts Homeowners, Real Estate Transactions

Fidelity National Financial, a major player in real estate services such as title insurance and escrow, recently fell victim to a devastating ransomware attack, causing widespread confusion and concern among homeowners and potential buyers.

TechCrunch reports that Fidelity National Financial (FNF), known for its leading role in providing title insurance and escrow services in North America, experienced a significant cyberattack last week. This incident has left many homeowners and prospective buyers who deal with FNF or its subsidiaries in a state of uncertainty and distress.

Biden’s media intimidation crusade takes a turn for the worse

A top White House censor heads for Biden’s re-election campaign to combat “misinformation” — which is now just another word for dissenting from this administration’s bungled economic policies.

The Biden administration’s efforts to intimidate media outlets into censoring information that might paint the president in a bad light (other than his own gaffes, lies, and plagiarism) are receiving new and much-needed attention this week. The House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government reconvenes Thursday to look into “the federal government’s involvement in social media censorship” and “recent attacks on independent journalism and free expression,” according to the committee’s press release.

It is a timely investigation. As Byron York noted at the Washington Examiner, “President Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign is ‘overhauling’ its strategy to fight ‘misinformation’ on social media. The new effort includes ‘recruiting hundreds of staffers and volunteers to monitor platforms.’”

The Biden team’s big current concern is the economy. Somehow, the public just isn’t getting the message that everything is hunky-dory and that Biden is the reason we’re all supposedly so much richer than we were in January 2021. Yet even voters who admit to having voted for Biden in 2020 say the economy is awful.

The new operation is reminiscent of the Biden administration’s successful efforts in 2021 to persuade media companies to suppress unpopular observations about government initiatives, especially doubts about the science behind combatting COVID-19 and concerns about interference in the 2020 election. That was, in fact, a ruthless campaign of threats and intimidation against tech companies, the legality of which the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to decide in its current session.

“They were bullying companies to censor anything contradicting government guidance,” the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year. “The private intimidation was amplified by public threats to use antitrust action and regulation if tech companies didn’t follow orders.”

The Biden administration has continually turned up the heat on those who dare to say things that might undermine the president’s re-election prospects.

‘For once, AOC is right’: AOC gets more than she bargained for after complaining that residents are fleeing New York City

NOTE: Old Glory Bank(.com) does not portfolio their loans (thought you should know).

However, Fort Sill National Bank does portfolio their loans (fsnb.com). Both are in Oklahoma.

The New York Post delivered a reality check to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) this week after she complained about the sky-high cost of living in New York City.

At a virtual town hall on Monday, Ocasio-Cortez condemned the sweeping budget cuts that Mayor Eric Adams (D) says are necessary because the migrant crisis is draining city resources.

“Why is the only conversation in the room cuts and why is there no conversation about revenue raising?” Ocasio-Cortez complained. “The people who are moving out of the city are not by and large the wealthiest people — they’re the working class that can’t afford to live here anymore.”

On Tuesday, the New York Post editorial board issued a response to Ocasio-Cortez.

HEALTH

Report: Half of Medicaid Recipients Are Unable to Access Care

According to a recent survey, Medicaid enrollees report worse overall health as a result of being unable to access care compared to those with other health coverage, despite giving their health insurance an overall positive rating.

KFF’s Survey of Consumer Experience with Health Insurance asked individuals covered by different types of insurance to rate the overall performance of their health insurance. The survey was conducted from Feb. 21 through Mar. 14 and focused on Medicaid recipients.

While most enrollees viewed their insurance positively, over half reported experiencing some type of problem related to cost, provider availability, or authorization in the past year.

CDC Data: U.S. Suicides Reached a Record High in 2022

U.S. suicides reached a record high in 2022, with nearly 50,000 people losing their lives to the mental health crisis, data from the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) revealed.

A provisional tally from the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) estimates the 2022 American suicide rate at 14.3 deaths per 100,000 people, the highest since 1941.

The health agency said the 2022 end-of-year count will likely be higher, with the provisional deaths adding up to 49,449 so far. This is a 2.6 percent increase from 2021, which saw 48,183 official suicides.

Males made up the biggest portion of suicides by far, with NCHS data showing that 39,255 boys and men lost their lives to mental illness in 2022, compared to 10,194 girls and women.

How to fall asleep anywhere in 120 seconds or less

Take a pot of coffee. Get yourself a nice, straight-backed chair with no cushioning — something you might find at the DMV. Keep the lights on, fluorescent if possible. Play some machine gun sounds on a loop at maximum volume. Take a seat, close your eyes, and relax.

That’s how legendary sprinting coach Bud Winter taught a bunch of Navy pilots to fall asleep during World War 2. It took them six weeks of practice to get to this level, but once they did, it worked every time. And Winter’s technique is something we can apply in situations even more hostile to peaceful slumber than combat. Flying coach from Philadelphia to Tampa, for example.

Here’s the technique, often called the “Military Method,” as described in Winter’s book “Relax and Win.” It has two parts: relaxing the body, followed by relaxing the mind.

FDA Issues Severe Warning About Popular Sleep Apnea Machine Risk

Philips faces new FDA scrutiny over life-threatening defects of its DreamStation 2 CPAP.

The FDA warned that Philips’s popular DreamStation 2 CPAP machines, used by millions to treat sleep apnea, pose severe burn risks after the agency received hundreds of incident reports.

The devices have overheated, smoked, and caught fire during use at home and in clinics, resulting in injuries.

The Philips DreamStation 2 CPAP machine helps people by providing positive air pressure to keep airways open during sleep. Sleep apnea, which affects about 39 million Americans, is a common disorder that causes repeated stops and starts in breathing during sleep.

Former Google Boss Eric Schmidt Raises Alarm on AI Development, Compares to Nuclear Weapons

Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google and a close ally of both Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, has issued a stark warning about the lack of current safeguards in AI, likening its development to the historical challenges of nuclear weapon regulation.

Axios reports that Eric Schmidt, who led Google from 2001 to 2011, expressed serious concerns about the trajectory of AI development at the Axios AI+ Summit in Washington DC. He cautioned that AI could pose a threat to humanity within the next five to ten years, especially if it reaches a stage where it can make autonomous decisions. This estimation narrows down the previously believed timeline of around 20 years, with some experts now suggesting that this critical point could be as soon as just two to four years away.

Self-Amplifying RNA Shots Are Coming: The Untold Danger

The truth behind RNA-based vaccine technology (Part 3)

The next generation of RNA-based injections will contain self-amplifying RNA (saRNA). If the term “self-amplifying RNA” sounds frightening, it should. It likely brings to mind images of scientific experiments run amok.

As discussed in a previous article, “mRNA vaccines” are not made with messenger RNA but with modified RNA (modRNA). These so-called vaccines are actually gene therapy products (GTPs), as modRNA hijacks our cells’ software. We have no possibility at all to gain influence on modRNA (or saRNA) after it has been injected.

What Distinguishes saRNA From modRNA?

The term “self-amplifying” is self-explanatory: saRNA replicates itself repeatedly, which is not natural, as natural mRNA is always (without exception) transcribed from DNA (this is called the “central dogma of molecular biology”).

Compared to modRNA, a small amount of saRNA results in an increased amount of produced antigen; one shot of saRNA-based injection may be enough to generate sufficient antibodies against a virus.

54 Bipartisan Lawmakers urge Speaker Mike Johnson not to allow Deep State surveillance into the proposed defense bill …

Conservatives Call Foul on Move to Extend Deep State Surveillance Authorization in Defense Bill

House and Senate conservatives on Wednesday sounded the alarm on a potential move by congressional leadership to extend a deep state surveillance law in a defense bill.

“Reauthorization of FISA can’t be hooked to anything. The federal GOV has spied on Americans [who] decided to go to Church or you went to a school board meeting. This needs to end. Reauthorization needs to stand on its own, and have significant reform,” House Freedom Caucus Chairman Scott Perry (R-PA) said during a press conference with the House Freedom Caucus and Senate conservatives.

Rep. Jim Jordan Opposes Any Deep State Surveillance Authorization in Defense Bill

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) opposes any extension of a deep state surveillance law in the upcoming defense bill, temporary or otherwise.

As Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and other members of the congressional leadership continue to mull putting Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a deep state surveillance long criticized by conservatives and progressives alike, Jordan, one of the principal leaders on the fight to reform the law, opposes the bill.

American dissident journalist placed on flying watch list

Air Marshals too busy tailing political opponents to follow ‘bad guys,’ says Air Marshal chief

Guerilla journalist and O’Keefe Media Group CEO James O’Keefe revealed Sunday the US State Department has placed him on a flying watch list.

O’Keefe is known for using undercover journalism and hidden cameras to expose totalitarians in various powerful institutions, including the federal government, pharmaceutical companies, and schools.

When O’Keefe recently attempted to go through security at Palm Beach International Airport (PBI), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials shut down the line he was in and subjected him to a lengthy and invasive body search.

O’Keefe’s boarding pass bore the letters “SSSS”, singling him out for Secondary Security Screening Selection. TSA officials were either unwilling or unable to tell the journalist why he was placed on the SSSS list, and they added that in order to remove himself from the list he must first speak with the State Department.

In a hidden camera video posted to X, a TSA officer told O’Keefe that they see only about one SSSS designee a month.

The White House Goes Rogue: Secret Surveillance Program Breaks All the Laws

John Whitehead’s Commentary – “We are rapidly entering the age of no privacy, where everyone is open to surveillance at all times; where there are no secrets from government.” — William O. Douglas, dissenting in Osborn v. United States (1966)

The government wants us to believe that we have nothing to fear from its mass spying programs as long as we’ve done nothing wrong.

Don’t believe it.

It doesn’t matter whether you obey every law. The government’s definition of a “bad” guy is extraordinarily broad, and it results in the warrantless surveillance of innocent, law-abiding Americans on a staggering scale.

For instance, it was recently revealed that the White House, relying on a set of privacy loopholes, has been sidestepping the Fourth Amendment by paying AT&T to allow federal, state, and local law enforcement to access—without a warrant—the phone records of Americans who are not suspected of a crime.

This goes way beyond the NSA’s metadata collection program.

Operated during the Obama, Trump and now the Biden presidencies, this secret dragnet surveillance program (formerly known as Hemisphere and now dubbed Data Analytical Services) uses its association with the White House to sidestep a vast array of privacy and transparency laws.

According to Senator Ron Wyden, Hemisphere has been operating without any oversight for more than a decade under the guise of cracking down on drug traffickers.

This is how the government routinely breaks the law and gets away with it: in the so-called name of national security.

More than a trillion domestic phone records are mined through this mass surveillance program every year, warrantlessly targeting not only those suspected of criminal activity but anyone with whom they might have contact, including spouses, children, parents, and friends.

It’s not just law enforcement agencies investigating drug crimes who are using Hemisphere to sidestep the Fourth Amendment, either. Those who have received training on the program reportedly include postal workers, prison officials, highway patrol officers, border cops, and the National Guard.

It’s a program ripe for abuse, and you can bet it’s getting abused.

Hayward: U.N. Climate Alarmism Summit COP28 to Begin with Oil Giant UAE Hosting

The U.N.’s COP28 climate summit begins on Thursday, accompanied by a symphony of groans from environmental activists and rueful chuckles from skeptics since the host for 2023’s event is the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — one of the world’s greatest oil powers.

“Brilliant: a COP28 to save the planet – staged by oil barons who imperil it,” columnist Marina Hyde grumbled at the UK Guardian on Tuesday.

William Shatner Pleads with King Charles on Climate Change: ‘We’re All Going to Die’

Actor William Shatner, forever immortalized as Captain Kirk on Star Trek, pleaded with King Charles to fight climate change for fear of “human extinction.”

Shatner issued his plea during an appearance on Good Morning Britain where he said the king should warn the British public at the COP28 climate conference.

Aurora Set To Glow Over U.S. This Week After ‘Severe’ Solar Storms

Scientists think a severe geomagnetic storm will strike Earth this Thursday, potentially triggering significant displays of the northern lights at mid-latitudes—and that means as far south as Oregon, Wyoming and Illinois.

Experts sounded the alarm Tuesday after a solar flare caused three separate coronal mass ejections on the sun, all aimed toward Earth, creating a rare “halo CME.”

A CME is a cloud of magnetic fields and charged particles from the sun that streams into space at up to 1,900 miles (3,000 kilometers) per second.

Car Dealers Warn Biden: ‘Unrealistic’ Green Agenda Must Be Abandoned, Americans Not Buying Electric Cars

Car dealers across the United States are warning President Joe Biden that his “unrealistic” green energy agenda must be abandoned, mainly because Americans are not buying Electric Vehicles (EVs) as the administration expected.

Executives with car dealerships from Massachusetts to Alabama to Wyoming sent a letter to Biden this week, urging his administration to drop EV mandates and green energy requirements on the auto industry, citing a lack of interest among American consumers in EVs.

New COVID Variant Spreading in US, but Risk Is Low: Experts

Compared to Eris, BA.2.86 has a significantly lower growth efficiency, meaning that it is less capable of replicating itself in the human bodies.

The new BA.2.86 variant, unofficially known as Pirola is taking hold in the United States.

Between Oct. 28 to Nov. 25, its prevalence increased from 1 to around 9 percent in the United States, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The World Health Organization designated Pirola as a variant of interest on Nov. 21, yet it also found the public health risk posed by BA.2.86 to be “low at the global level (pdf).”

Adverse Events From COVID Vaccination More Likely With Prior COVID Infection

People who have moderate to severe COVID-19 prior to vaccination may have increased reactogenicity to COVID-19 vaccines, according to a Canadian study.

Individuals previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 develop immunity and may be more likely to experience adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination compared to those with no history of infection, according to a study published in Clinical Infectious Diseases.

Canadian researchers conducted a large, prospective observational study to assess the short-term safety of COVID-19 vaccines in adults with a previous history of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Study participants were sent an electronic questionnaire seven days after receiving their first, second, and third vaccine doses to assess whether adverse events experienced after vaccination prevented daily activities, attendance at work or school, or required medical care, including hospitalization.

Saline Now Recommended for COVID?

According to recent research, gargling and rinsing your nasal passages with saline can ease the respiratory symptoms of COVID-19 and reduce your risk of hospitalization

The hospitalization rate among those gargling and irrigating their sinuses four times a day for 14 days, using 2.13 grams of salt dissolved in 8 ounces of warm water, was 18.5%. Those who used 6 grams of salt had a hospitalization rate of 21.4%. The untreated reference population had a hospitalization rate of 58.8%

Nasal irrigation and gargling with hypertonic saline has also been shown to reduce the duration of the common cold by 1.9 days and reduce transmission within the household by 35% when done within 48 hours of symptom onset

Irrigating your sinuses with povidone-iodine has also been shown to reduce COVID hospitalization rates

Nebulizing hydrogen peroxide may be the most effective strategy of all. In most respiratory infection cases, improvement is seen within a few hours. Some of your immune cells produce hydrogen peroxide to destroy pathogens. By killing the infected cell, viral reproduction is stopped. Hydrogen peroxide therapy aids your immune cells to perform their natural function more effectively

Pop Singer Sabrina Carpenter Desecrates NYC Church in Music Video Shoot, Priest Stripped of Duties

Pop singer Sabrina Carpenter’s use of a Roman Catholic church in Brooklyn as a backdrop for parts of a music video, with her dancing next to pastel-colored coffins, led to its pastor being stripped of his administrative duties after its release and officials holding a Mass to restore the church’s “sanctity.”

Carpenter, who as a youth appeared on the Disney Channel, released the video for “Feather” on Oct. 31; in it, she’s in several scenarios with men who behave badly, like taking a nonconsensual photo of her body, and then die in grisly ways. At the end, Carpenter, 24, is filmed dancing in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, wearing a short tulle dress and a black veil.
