Today’s the day …

1.Emergency Alert Test: Time Announced for Every Cellphone, TV, Radio, in America to Sound Alarm

A massive emergency alert test is set to sound alarms on every cellphone, radio, and TV in the United States on Wednesday at 2:20 p.m. EDT, 11:20 a.m. PDT.

The federal government says it will conduct a nationwide test of its Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts on the afternoon of October 4, as reported by Breitbart News last month. The emergency test is scheduled to occur at 2:20 p.m. eastern time which is 11:20 a.m. Pacific.

And for those of you preppers out there that take things a little more seriously:

  1. How to Make a Faraday Cage

The Faraday cage (or shield), named after Michael Faraday, is a device that is used to protect from electromagnetic radiation. A Faraday cage may be formed by a continuous covering of conductive material, or a mesh of such materials. This creates a shielding effect for any item inside the cage and protects those items from radiation. The effects of the cage can be enhanced by layering conductive and non-conductive layers – this creates a cage within a cage within a cage, providing additional protection without the need of specialised materials. Though it may sound complicated, you can make your own Faraday cage from aluminum foil. You can also make a larger version using a steel trash can.

McCarthy is OUT as House Speaker!

3.Kevin McCarthy ousted as House speaker, thrusting Congress into chaos

Kevin McCarthy made history Tuesday — becoming the first speaker of the House of Representatives to be ousted by a floor vote with the help of members of his own party.

Eight Republicans — Andy Biggs of Arizona, Ken Buck of Colorado, Tim Burchett of Tennessee, Eli Crane of Arizona, Matt Gaetz of Florida, Bob Good of Virginia, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Matt Rosendale of Montana — banded together with a united Democrat conference to declare the office of speaker vacant by a vote of 216-210, removing McCarthy (R-Calif.) from power and thrusting the chamber into chaos as it faces a grinding process to pick his replacement.

The prospect of a revolt against McCarthy, 58, had been dangled for several months by Gaetz, his chief Republican antagonist.

Gaetz, 41, finally went ahead with the motion to vacate Monday night, after a weekend of stewing over the speaker’s decision to call up a stopgap spending bill to avoid a partial government shutdown —  and rely on Democratic votes to get the measure through.

Patrick McHenry named Interim House Speaker after McCarthy was ousted!

4.Who is Patrick McHenry, the new acting Speaker of the House?

Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) is serving as acting Speaker of the House, after a small group of Republicans joined Democrats on Tuesday to oust Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in a historic first for the chamber.

McHenry was declared Speaker pro tempore following the 216-210 vote to remove McCarthy on Tuesday evening.

5.McHenry orders Pelosi to vacate Capitol office in one of first acts as Speaker pro tem

Speaker Pro Tem Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) ordered Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to vacate her Capitol hideaway office so he could take it over, just hours after becoming acting Speaker, Pelosi’s office said Tuesday.

WORLD NEWS

U.N. Security Council Approves Kenya-Led Intervention Force for Haiti

The U.N. Security Council voted on Monday to authorize a multinational military intervention against the gang lords of Haiti, led by Kenya, which volunteered to take point in July.

The resolution, drafted by the United States and Ecuador at the request of Haiti’s government, passed with 13 votes in favor, zero against, and two unsurprising abstentions: Russia and China.

Iran Floats ‘Talks’ with U.S. in Exchange for Return to Obama-Era Nuclear Deal

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kana’ani told reporters on Monday that his regime is ready to “resume negotiations” with the United States if President Joe Biden returns to the 2015 nuclear deal signed by predecessor Barack Obama.

Any negotiations between Tehran and Washington must hinge on the return to that agreement, the spokesman said, but talks would only be limited to implementing the provisions of the deal.

“If the other side shows its readiness to return to the JCPOA, Iran is ready to help in this regard,” Kana’ani asserted.

Venezuela’s Maduro Commands: ‘Every Socialist’ Must Have a TikTok Account

Venezuela’s socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro instructed the top members of his authoritarian regime on Monday to open accounts on the Chinese social media platform TikTok to “evade the censorship” that, according to him, the scarcely independent Venezuelan media left is imposing.

Maduro issued his order on Monday evening during the latest broadcast of his weekly television show Con Maduro Más (“With Maduro Plus”). The socialist dictator instructed the president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez; the vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and alleged drug lord Diosdado Cabello; and members of his cabinet of ministers to create TikTok accounts to share the “progress” of the regime’s socialist government.

“We have to go to battle in the neighborhood, in the community, even in the corner. A socialist, a chavista, a patriot, a Bolivarian, must have his TikTok account,” Maduro said.

South Korea warns North about ‘end of regime’

Seoul has vowed to “overwhelmingly” respond to any possible future attack

South Korea has warned that Pyongyang would see the “end of its regime” if it ever launched a nuclear strike, also declaring that Washington would come to its aid in the event of a conflict with the DPRK.

Seoul’s Defense Ministry issued a statement on Wednesday in response to recent developments in the North, after officials there pledged to bolster the country’s nuclear arsenal, even codifying the policy in the North Korean constitution.

“Our military is equipped with a combined South Korea-US readiness posture that can overwhelmingly respond to any attack from North Korea,” the Defense Ministry said, adding “If North Korea attempts to use nukes, it will face the end of its regime.”

African nation rejects EU financial aid

Tunisia is open to cooperation but does not accept anything that resembles acts of charity or handouts, President Kais Saied says

Tunisian President Kais Saied has rejected financial aid from the European Union intended to support the country’s budget and address a migration crisis, claiming that the bloc violated agreements signed earlier this year.

“Tunisia rejects what the EU announced, not because of the small amount… but because this proposal contradicts the memorandum of understanding signed in July,” Saied said on Monday, according to a statement published by national broadcaster TAP.

Judge issues gag order after Trump’s comments on court clerk in civil trial

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s civil fraud trial issued a gag order on Tuesday after the former president made comments about the judge’s clerk.

“Consider this statement a gag order forbidding all parties from posting, emailing or speaking publicly about any of my staff,” the judge, Arthur Engoron, said on Tuesday afternoon. “Personal attacks on members of my court staff are unacceptable, inappropriate and I will not tolerate them in any circumstances.

“Failure to abide by this order will result in serious sanctions.”

The second day of Trump’s trial got off to another combative start after Trump branded the case a “fraud” and a “scam” and pledged to take the stand in his own defense.

Asked if he would testify in the case, Trump said: “Yes, I will. At the appropriate time I will be.”

DOD official, longtime friend charged after allegedly operating dog fighting ring for over 20 years: DOJ

A senior Department of Defense official was one of two men arrested in Maryland last week on accusations of facilitating a secret dog fighting ring that included the execution of the dogs that didn’t win, the Department of Justice announced.

Frederick Douglass Moorefield, 62, who served as a Deputy Chief Information Officer for Command, Control, and Communications, for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, was arrested Thursday with his longtime friend Mario Flythe, 49, on charges of promoting an alleged dog fighting operation for over 20 years.

According to the criminal affidavit, authorities rescued at least 12 dogs while serving warrants at their residences in September, where they found veterinary steroids, training equipment and jumper cables that were “used to execute dogs that lose dogfights(sic).”

The two men used an encrypted messaging application to communicate about dog fighting, share tips on training and plan how to avoid detection from law enforcement, officials said. They also used code names to represent their respective operations – Moorefield used “Geehad Kennels” and Flythe used “Razor Sharp Kennels.”

Supreme Court Denies Petition, With Recusal From Justice Clarence Thomas

The U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 2 rejected an appeal from attorney John Eastman after a lower court found that he may have acted in a criminal manner regarding legal advice he provided to former President Donald Trump, prompting a recusal from Justice Clarence Thomas.

The Supreme Court left intact the lower court ruling that mandates that Mr. Eastman hand over emails to the House of Representatives’ Jan. 6 committee, which was dissolved earlier this year as Republicans took control of the chamber. Justice Thomas didn’t issue a written statement in the order, and the Supreme Court provided no reasoning for denying his petition.

“The petition for a writ of certiorari is denied,” the order said. “Justice Thomas took no part in the consideration or decision of this petition.”

Supreme Court Opens New Term With Drug Sentencing Case

Lawyers and justices argued during an Oct. 2 hearing about whether “and” always means “and,” as a convicted drug dealer hoping to reduce his sentence under the First Step Act of 2018 made his case before the Supreme Court.

The case, Pulsifer v. United States (court file 22-340), was heard on the first day of the court’s new term.

The First Step Act, a bipartisan measure approved by Congress and signed by then-President Donald Trump in 2018, reformed aspects of the criminal justice system, making it easier for the courts to reduce penalties for nonviolent drug offenders.

Pentagon Warns Congress It’s Running Low on Funds to Replace Weapons Sent to Ukraine

The Department of Defense warned Congress this week that it is running low on funds meant to replace weapons the United States sent to Ukraine in recent months and has been forced to slow down on resupplying American troops.

Pentagon Comptroller Michael McCord told House and Senate leaders in a letter that there is $1.6 billion left of the $25.9 billion Congress provided to replenish U.S. military stocks that have been flowing to Ukraine. The weapons include millions of rounds of artillery, rockets, and missiles critical to Ukraine’s counteroffensive aimed at taking back territory gained by Russia in the war.

“Without additional funding now, we would have to delay or curtail assistance to meet Ukraine’s urgent requirements, including for air defense and ammunition that are critical and urgent now as Russia prepares to conduct a winter offensive,” Mr. McCord wrote, according to multiple news outlets.

Trump New York Fraud Trial Day 2: Court Adjourns, but Judge Asks Attorneys to Stay

Day two of the trial ended at 4:30 p.m., but New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron asked the attorneys to stay behind for private discussions, according to media reports. Reporters were cleared out of the room.

During the defense’s cross-examination of Donald Bender, a former Mazars USA partner and accountant who worked with the Trump Organization, lawyers for former President Donald Trump noted that Mr. Bender was the only certified public accountant compiling Trump Organization financial statements.

Justice Engoron confirmed that closed-door meetings were regarding posts made about his staff.

Justice Engoron is known to confer with his clerk, Allison Greenfield, regularly on cases.

Hunter Biden Pleads Not Guilty to Gun Charges, Tests Negative for Drug Use

Hunter Biden pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to three gun charges after undergoing random drug testing since his July 2023 court hearing in which he tested negative for any substances.

Hunter Biden left the federal courthouse after Judge Christopher Burke released him on several conditions, journalists in the courtroom reported. Those conditions appear to be the same as his July plea deal, including that he does not possess a gun, use alcohol, or digest controlled substances.

Authorities previously fingerprinted and mugshot Hunter Biden in July, CNN reported, but the photo apparently remains concealed due to Justice Department policy.

The president’s son is charged with one count of false statement in the purchase of a firearm, one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance, and one count of false statement related to information required to be kept by a federal firearms licensed dealer.

He faces up to 25 years in prison and a $750,000 fine.

Moving forward, Hunter Biden could stand trial if Special Counsel David Weiss does not offer him a plea deal, as he previously offered him in July when the “sweetheart” deal fell apart under judicial scrutiny. Hunter’s charges could also be dismissed before trial, his lawyers claimed last month.

House Passes Tenney Amendment to Block Biden from Moving Jerusalem Embassy

The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed an amendment last week that barred the Biden administration from moving the U.S. embassy in Israel out of Jerusalem, though 67 Democrats opposed it

Emergency test set to blast phones — and conspiracy theorists are on high alert

Is the test a test?

Conspiracy theorists are flooding social networks ahead of the Federal Emergency Management Agency testing its blaring Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts on Wednesday afternoon.

The routine event — which will reach cell phones, televisions, and radios at about 2:20 p.m. ET — “is to ensure that the systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level,” according to FEMA.

Phones should only receive a single message during the half-hour broadcast, which will announce to consumers: “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”

TVs and radios will receive a similar message during the second phase of the test.

In the event of severe weather, the test will be postponed until Oct. 11.

However, because phones that are shut off — along with other opt-out options — during the test duration won’t receive an alert, many are theorizing that the EAS is a trap of some sort.

“Definitely turning off the cell phones and TVs…I’m very torn on what to do,” said “tin foil hat” TikToker Meredith Owen.

ECONOMY & BUSINESS

Business is trying to grow; the Fed is trying to stifle it!

Job Openings Unexpectedly Surge Higher, Putting Pressure on Fed to Hike Again

Job openings at US employers unexpectedly surged in August to the highest since May, putting pressure on the Federal Reserve to hike interest rates again this year and keep rates higher for longer in the coming year.

The number of vacant positions increased to 9.61 million on the last business day of August from an upwardly revised 8.92 million at the end of July, the Labor Department’s Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey, or JOLTS, showed Tuesday.

Nolte: Bidenflation — Netflix to Raise Prices Again

Netflix will increase the price of its ad-free streaming service once the actors’ strike ends, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Thanks, Joe Biden!

More:

Netflix plans to raise the price of its ad-free service a few months after the continuing Hollywood actors strike ends, the latest in a series of recent price increases by the country’s largest streaming platforms.

The streaming service is discussing raising prices in several markets globally, but will likely begin with the U.S. and Canada, according to people familiar with the matter. It couldn’t be learned how much Netflix will raise prices by or when exactly the new prices will take effect. Netflix declined to comment.

Netflix and I got along just fine for around a dozen years. The monthly subscription fee was reasonable, and everything wasn’t gay. Then one day, I discovered I was paying $16 a month, and everything was gay. So long, Netflix.

Currently, Netflix charges you $6.99 per month for programming with ads. Why anyone would pay to watch programming with ads is beyond me. Have you not heard of Pluto, FreeVee, or Tubi? Those streamers have more content than you could ever hope to watch … for free. Yes, there are ads, but it’s free.

Elon Musk Hits a Speed Bump: Tesla Suffers First Quarter-On-Quarter Sales Decline in Years

Elon Musk’s Tesla suffered its first quarter-on-quarter sales decline in years, prompting concerns about America’s appetite for electric vehicles. Analyst Dan Ives explains, “Even when factoring in the factory shutdowns with no rose-colored glasses, Tesla clearly missed the Street with bulls left disappointed.”

Fortune reports that in a landscape where Tesla has long been synonymous with strong growth, the company’s third quarter performance left much to be desired. Elon Musk’s car company reported a notable dip in vehicle sales, marking its first quarter-on-quarter decline in sales since the inception of Model Y production in January 2020.

Green Trucks, Red Ink: Rivian Loses $33,000 for Every Electric Pickup Sold

Rivian Automotive, a market leader in producing electric pickup trucks, has struggled with producing electric vehicles (EVs) that can accomplish tasks their gasoline engine counterparts handle with ease. A new report from the Wall Street Journal shows the company also struggles with profitability. The company reportedly loses an average of $33,000 for every truck it sells.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Rivian Automotive has positioned itself as a trailblazer in the electric vehicle sector, aiming to deliver an unparalleled driving experience by combining sports-car handling, advanced features, and robust design in its pick up trucks and other models. But not everything is working out according to the company’s plans.

Over 75,000 Kaiser Permanente Workers Prepare to Strike in Largest Health Care Disruption in US History

Kaiser proposed raising wages by 2 to 4 percent, which is an ‘offensive raise proposal’ that does not keep up with inflation, according to the labor union.

More than 75,000 workers employed with the Kaiser Permanente hospital systems are poised to strike this week, citing wage and staffing issues in what looks to be the largest health care strike in U.S. history.

The Coalition of Kaiser Permanente Unions represents over 85,000 health care workers in Kaiser Permanente facilities in seven states and the District of Columbia. Kaiser last negotiated a contract with the coalition in 2019, a year before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out. On Sept. 30 this year, the contract expired. On Sept. 22, the coalition submitted a 10-day notice to Kaiser Permanente executives, warning that they would begin striking on Oct. 4 if a better contract is not negotiated. With the deadline fast approaching and no deal in sight, the strike looks set to start at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

Over 75,000 workers in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Virginia, and Washington D.C. will take part, “making it the largest healthcare worker strike in U.S. history,” the coalition said in a Sept. 22 statement. The strike would last for four days until 6 a.m., Oct. 7, and affect hundreds of facilities.

2ND AMENDMENT

Biden Now Has Gun-Control Activists Employed in the White House
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris recently announced the establishment of what this administration has dubbed the “Office of Gun Violence Prevention.”

“[T]he Office of Gun Violence Prevention along with the rest of my Administration will continue to do everything it can to combat the epidemic of gun violence,” reads a statement from Biden on this administration’s latest action.

This newly created office will be overseen by Harris, whom Biden has tipped to be the “leading voice” for the administration’s push for more gun control in the pair’s reelection efforts. “I’m establishing the first-ever White House Office of gun Violence Prevention, overseen by Vice President @KamalaHarris, to build upon our historic work to keep guns out of dangerous hands and Americans safe,” wrote Biden on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The office’s director will be longtime Biden aide Stefanie Feldman, who, as America’s 1st Freedom previously reported, led the policy efforts for the 2020 Biden/Harris ticket and routinely voiced her animus for constitutionally-protected freedoms. It will also include Robert Wilcox, a former senior director of the anti-gun group Everytown for Gun Safety, as deputy director. Wilcox also worked for the anti-gun group Brady.

“[W]hat is clear is that Biden is determined to use the White House’s own (apparently vast) budget to employ professional gun-control advocates at the public’s expense,” reported the NRA Institute for Legislative Action (ILA).

Biden also indicated his intent to “push for Congress to do more,” and reiterated his desire to ban constitutionally-protected, commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles, as well as what he deems to be “high-capacity magazines.”

Laxatives Carry a Risk, Here Are Some Natural Alternatives

Americans have a laxative habit, with online searches for laxatives more than tripling in the last year. What is causing our problems with pooping?

A recent surge in laxative use has been causing nationwide shortages, and consumers are noticing emptier drugstore shelves as a result of our growing obsession with pooping.

A recent article in the Wall Street Journal, quoting analytics company Pattern, says searches for laxative pills on Amazon have more than tripled in the past year.

We all contend with constipation from time to time, and it tends to be something we encounter more and more as we age. Perhaps there are other reasons for our growing need for laxatives—most Americans also don’t eat enough fiber, don’t exercise enough, have rising levels of stress, and are on an increasing number of medications—all factors that contribute to constipation and other problems in the bathroom.

Laxative Use and Dementia

This new trend is worrisome, as long-term laxative use can have consequences. Recent research suggests that those who use laxatives regularly have an increased risk of dementia—as high as 50 percent. One prospective cohort study published in 2023 of 502,229 participants aged 40–69 found that those who regularly used laxatives had an increased risk of all-cause dementia, and that those who used multiple laxative types or osmotic laxatives had a significantly increased risk.

Some Reasons You May Be Constipated

There are a variety of factors that cause constipation, and some are listed below.

  • Certain medications.
  • Not drinking enough water.
  • Eating an unhealthy diet without enough fiber.
  • Sedentary behavior, or lack of movement/exercise.
  • Stress.
  • Not going to the bathroom when you first feel the urge.
  • Changes in routine (like traveling, working a new job, or starting school).
  • Age—incidence of constipation tends to increase with age.

Constipation is defined as having a bowel movement fewer than three times a week. Although the occasional bout of constipation is normal, if it is prolonged, or you need laxatives over the long term to keep things moving, consider seeing your physician or a health care provider to ensure it isn’t a symptom of more serious problems.

Things to Do

There are many things you can try if you are having problems pooping regularly. Here are some things you can try to get things going again.

Drink More Water

Many of us don’t drink enough water, and being well-hydrated keeps things moving through the digestive system. If you are constipated, try drinking more water, which will help keep stools soft and easier to pass. Also, drinking a lot of coffee or tea, because they are diuretics, can cause you to lose fluids.

Exercise

Our increasingly sedentary lifestyles can undoubtedly contribute to constipation. Moving your body—even simply getting up from your desk and walking around for a few minutes—will help move your energy and things through your bowels.

Adjust Your Position

Before the advent of the modern toilet, most people squatted when they went to the bathroom. This position is more natural for complete elimination of the bowels and squatting straightens your colon so that you can poop more efficiently without straining.

Things to Take

Aloe

Aloe vera juice, or the gel from inside the leaves of the aloe vera plant, can be used as a natural laxative. Aloe vera juice is an excellent source of vitamin C.

Kiwi Fruit

Plenty of foods can help with constipation—many we are familiar with, like prunes. But, if you have diabetes and are keeping track of your blood sugar or are watching your weight, kiwis are a better option. Prunes are much higher in calories, carbohydrates, and sugar than kiwi’s, and several studies have found that kiwi fruit is an effective remedy for constipation.

Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are rich in fiber and act as a prebiotic, helping to stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in your gut. Chia seeds form a gel when combined with liquid, so when using them for constipation, soak them in water before taking them.

Magnesium Citrate

Magnesium citrate is an osmotic laxative, and benefits constipation by drawing water into the intestines, making your poop softer and easier to pass. Because magnesium citrate draws water into the intestines from other parts of the body, it is crucial to drink a lot of water while taking it, so you don’t become dehydrated.

The Power Mall Recommends TRANSDERMA MINERALS MAGNESIUM OIL

Papaya

Papaya is high in fiber and has a high water content, making it a natural laxative. Papaya also contains an enzyme called papain that makes protein easier to digest and benefits digestion. Papayas are also high in vitamin C, which can help soften stool and make it easier to pass.

Global Healing Center OXY-POWDER

Oxy-Powder is a safe and effective colon cleanse product that uses the power of oxygen to gently cleanse and detoxify your entire digestive tract and relieve bloating, gas and occasional constipation.

Is gas, bloating, or occasional constipation making you feel like your digestive system needs a tune-up? Maybe you just want to counteract the effects of the toxins that permeate our food, water, and air. Whatever your motivation, Oxy-Powder can help. It uses natural oxygen to safely and effectively melt away compacted feces from your intestinal tract. It’s an easy way to stay regular and support a healthy lifestyle.

The Cancer Dangers Lurking in Widely Used Medications, and FDA Oversight Challenges

Some common drugs carry increased cancer risk, some due to contamination, while others have been associated with risk through recent research.

When taking medications for common reasons like lowering cholesterol, treating heartburn, and preventing pregnancy, most people trust these drugs are safe and effective.

However, some commonly used drugs may contain ingredients or contaminants that increase cancer risks. This problem could worsen as the United States relies more on overseas manufacturers with less stringent regulations to meet the growing demand for generics. Low profit margins have discouraged domestic production, forcing reliance on foreign plants where quality control may be lacking.

Hormonal Contraceptives

Millions of women worldwide use hormonal contraceptives to prevent pregnancy. Though such birth control pills are found to be around 99 percent effective, research suggests they may increase breast cancer risk, though the evidence is limited.

Statins

Statins are commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol, which, in turn, may reduce heart attack and stroke risk. However, some evidence suggests statin use may be linked to increased risk for certain cancers.

Heartburn Medicine

The heartburn medication ranitidine (Zantac) was recalled in 2020 after unsafe levels of the carcinogen N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) were found in it. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requested Zantac be removed from sale once NDMA was detected at higher than acceptable daily intake limits.

Proton Pump Inhibitors

Although Zantac won’t return to the market, it has been replaced by Zantac 360, which uses a far-from-perfect drug called famotidine. Famotidine comes with potentially serious side effects, including heartbeat irregularities, anxiety, and difficulty breathing.

Overseas Drug Manufacturers and Growing Safety Concerns

U.S. dependence on foreign drug makers could jeopardize safety.

In July, the chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-Wash.), alongside two colleagues on the Health and Oversight Subcommittee, sent a letter to FDA Commissioner Dr. Robert Califf, citing poorly conducted inspections of Chinese and Indian plants.

“We are worried that the United States is overly reliant on sourcing from foreign manufacturers with a demonstrated pattern of repeatedly violating FDA safety regulations,” Ms. Rodgers and her colleagues wrote.

These two nations garner the most FDA warnings, according to information from Ms. Rodger’s office.

These violations have included:

  • Carcinogens in medicines.
  • Destroying or falsifying data.
  • Non-sterile manufacturing processes.

Moreover, China recently expanded its National Security Law, potentially blocking access to drug records and limiting inspector authority.

To address concerns, the Department of Defense and Valisure, an independent laboratory, launched a partnership to improve drug quality monitoring and exclude subpar products.

Drug companies agree to participate in Biden Medicare price negotiation program

All 10 manufacturers of the first drugs selected for Medicare price negotiations will be participating, the White House said Tuesday, even as many of them are currently suing the administration in an effort to halt the process.

Many of the companies told The Hill separately ahead of the Oct. 1 deadline that they would participate. The White House confirmed the news in an announcement, taking a political victory lap.

Jamie Dimon: AI Will Cure Cancer, Extend Life to 100

While artificial intelligence inevitably will eliminate some jobs, it offers enormous promises, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said in an interview on Bloomberg TV.

“Your children are going to live to 100 and not have cancer because of technology,” Dimon said. “And literally, they’ll probably be working three-and-a-half days a week.”

Thousands of JPMorgan Chase employees are already using AI, which Dimon has called “critical to our company’s future success.”

Enhance Your Memory & Promote Mental Resilience With These Simple Tips

Whether recalling an acquaintances name or trying to figure out where you parked, your memory helps you access short-term and long-term information and process the world around you.

We could all use a little extra mental strength to help us remember important things, right? Well, it turns out there are research-backed ways to support brain health and enhance memory.

1.Eat for your brain

Nutritional psychiatry is a field of science that uses food and supplements to provide essential nutrients and phytonutrients that help support an individual’s mental health needs.* In other words, making strategic dietary changes can support your individual mental well-being and overall cognitive function.

Here are some nutritional changes you can make to increase brain function and improve memory:

  1. Get plenty of Omega-3s

Speaking of healthy fats, omega-3 fatty acids are vital for overall cognitive function and enhancing memory—particularly EPA and DHA, which are omega-3 fatty acids found primarily in marine sources (fish and algae).*

Power Mall Product of Recommendation: OPTIVIDA SUPER KRILL OIL

  1. Move your body

Exercise is medicine for the body and the brain. Studies have shown that aerobic and cardiorespiratory exercise increase white and gray matter in the brain, respectively. Gray matter is responsible for the majority of processing that occurs in the brain, while white matter is more involved in communication within the brain and between the brain and spinal cord—all of which are important for memory function.

  1. Zen out

Meditation and other mindfulness practices have certainly gained growing attention over the past few years—and for good reason! Meditation has been proved to lengthen telomeres (a biomarker for longevity) and improve overall brain function. More specifically, meditation increases gray matter in the brain22 and helps enhance memory and learning

  1. Hit the hay

It’s no surprise that sleep is critical for our overall well-being, but did you know that it plays a specific and vital role in healthy memory? While you’re sleeping each night, your brain takes all the information from the day and trims down the unnecessary bits so it can properly store what is essential.

Getting your seven to nine hours of restful sleep ensures the right memories are retained—so be sure to call it a night a little bit earlier if you’re hoping to supercharge your memory while you sleep!

If you have trouble sleeping you may want to try a natural sleep support like HERBAL ZZZS

Harvard Study: Relying on AI Can Make Workers 19% More Likely to Make Mistakes

A recent study by Harvard University and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) sheds light on the impact of AI in the workplace, revealing its potential to both enhance and negatively affect productivity and efficiency. The study found that AI can enhance performance, but also that overreliance greatly increases the chances of finding wrong answers.

Forbes reports that AI is changing how we work, but it’s not all smooth sailing, according to a study by Harvard and BCG. While AI, especially OpenAI’s GPT-4, can make us work faster and better, it also has its drawbacks.

Sam Altman Is Creating Himself In The Image Of Robert Oppenheimer Or Bill Gates?

Some claim OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is the 21st-century version of Robert Oppenheimer, the director of the laboratory at Los Alamos, New Mexico, where the atomic bomb was designed. Oppenheimer was an administrator; Altman is an administrator, venture capitalist, and opportunist. Altman is a pedestrian programmer who clawed his way to the top of a budding empire, just like Bill Gates, who created Microsoft in 1975.

Gates purchased all the early software from others. The programmers he hired after that did all the work while he wined and dined the corporate elite and governments around the world. Gates tried desperately to posture himself as a genius, just as Altman is doing today.

Sam Altman is creating himself in the image of Bill Gates, not Oppenheimer.

The “Air Vaccine” Is Here, No Needle Necessary to Get mRNA Technology Into Humans

The “air vaccine” is here and it’s able to deliver mRNA technology into the human body without a needle injection. The mRNA can be delivered right into the lungs and has been used to “vaccinate” mice intranasally.

A team from Yale University has developed a new airborne method for delivering mRNA right to your lungs. The method has also been used to vaccinate mice intranasally, “opening the door for human testing in the near future.”

While scientists may celebrate this invention as a convenient method to vaccinate large populations, skeptics have started to raise obvious concerns about the potential misuse of an airborne vaccine, including the possibility of covert bioenhancements a concept that has previously been suggested in academic literature.

Roman Balmakov of Facts Matter discusses the study in the following video: https://rumble.com/v3fsrl0-researchers-create-aerosolized-mrna-vaccine.html

Pay no heed to the circus politics coming out of Washington DC. It’s just more of the same grandstanding by tone-deaf politicians oblivious to the plight of the citizenry.

Don’t allow yourselves to be distracted by the competing news headlines cataloging the antics of the ruling classes. While they are full of sound and fury, they are utterly lacking in substance.

Tune out the blaring noise of meaningless babble. It is intended to drown out the very real menace of a government which is consumed with squeezing every last penny out of the population.

Focus instead on the steady march of the police state at both the national, state and local levels, and the essential freedoms that are being trampled underfoot in its single-minded pursuit of power.

While the overt and costly signs of the despotism exercised by the increasingly authoritarian regime that passes itself off as the United States government are all around us—warrantless surveillance of Americans’ private phone and email conversations by the FBI, NSA, etc.; SWAT team raids of Americans’ homes; shootings of unarmed citizens by police; harsh punishments meted out to schoolchildren in the name of zero tolerance; drones taking to the skies domestically; endless wars; out-of-control spending; militarized police; roadside strip searches; privatized prisons with a profit incentive for jailing Americans; fusion centers that collect and disseminate data on Americans’ private transactions; and militarized agencies with stockpiles of ammunition, to name some of the most appalling—you rarely hear anything about them from the politicians, the corporations or the news media.

So what’s behind the blackout of real news?

Los Angeles Unified School District Plans Weeklong Celebration of National Coming Out Day

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) will be hosting a weeklong celebration of “National Coming Out Day” in this month of October.

According to City Journal, a teacher within the district shared a document called “Week of Action Toolkit – Elementary,” which outlined how the LAUSD would essentially be treating the month of October as a secondary LGBTQ pride month.

Parents Defending Education noted:

The document provides elementary teachers with an ‘identity Map’ to use when teaching young children during this week. This identity map focuses on the identity of students, including their ‘race,’ ‘ethnicity,’ ‘gender identity,’ ‘religion,’ ‘sexuality,’ and ‘mental health.’ The purpose of the identity map is to teach students about ‘intersectionality.’

“Teachers will have students create their own images with the identity map, and these images will be shared with the district. The document also has a famous transgender person to discuss with students each day of the week,” it added.

Such famous people that will be discussing transgenderism are Elliot Page and Jazz Jennings.
