Gun License Applications and Firearm Sales Surging in Israel

Gun license applications and firearm sales are surging in Israel weeks after the Hamas terror attacks took the lives of at least 1,400 Israelis on October 7.

The attacks were accentuated by videos on social media that showed terrorists going door-to-door in Israeli communities, finding and killing unarmed Israelis in their homes.

Report: Biden Admin Threatens to Quit Supplying Rifles After Israel’s Ben Gvir Purportedly Arms Civilians

The Biden Administration became upset and threatened to quit supplying rifles to Israel after photos emerged of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir passing them out to “community security squads,” according to Haaretz.

Photos of the rifles being passed out were posted on Ben Gvir’s social media and “led to a diplomatic incident that threatened to stop the arms shipments from the United States to Israel.”

South Africa Asks U.N. to Deploy ‘Rapid Protection Force’ to Gaza Against Israel

The government of South Africa on Monday asked the United Nations to deploy a “force” in Gaza to protect Palestinian civilians as Israel’s response to the savage Hamas attacks of October 7 continues.

The South African statement asked the international community to “hold Israel accountable for breaches of International law.”

The South African government had little to say about the brutality of Hamas and assigned absolutely none of the blame for civilian casualties in Gaza to the Palestinian terrorist organization, which is infamous for using civilians as human shields to protect its weapons. South Africa did not mention the reports of Hamas operatives preventing civilians from evacuating after the Israeli military warned them of incoming strikes.

Instead, South Africa accused Israel of “genocide,” “war crimes,” “crimes against humanity,” and “unlawful actions” against the people of Gaza.

Antisemitic Lynch Mob Attack at Russian Airport Leaves over 20 Injured

Russian officials on Monday said more than 20 people were injured when a mob of antisemites descended on the Makhachkala airport in Dagestan on Sunday night, looking for Jews to attack after a flight landed from Tel Aviv.

Local health officials said ten of the injuries required hospitalization, and two were in critical condition. Nine of the injured were police officers. Security officials said none of the passengers on the plane from Tel Aviv were harmed.

U.S. NEWS, POLITICS & GOVERNMENT

The real question is: Will a major war purposefully stop the 2024 elections?

Wider War Will Bring Inevitable Attempts At Martial Law In America

Not long ago at the height of fear over the global pandemic the US underwent a change that many people argued would never happen. For years I have heard people say that authoritarian controls in America are “tinfoil hat conspiracy theory” and doom mongering – All the prepping, all the talk of community organizing, all the guns and the gear and the training were for nothing.

Then…the covid agenda hit like a freight train.

U.S. announces new NUCLEAR weapon 24 times the power of one dropped on Hiroshima – days after it emerged China plans to double its warheads by 2030

The Pentagon has announced plans for a new nuclear bomb 24 times as powerful as the one dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.

It comes days after it emerged China plans to double its arsenal of nuclear warheads to over 1,000 by 2030.

America’s proposed new B61-13 nuclear gravity bomb would be dropped from aircraft including the $692 million B-21 Raider stealth bomber, which is currently in development.

Biden Policies Delivered $50-$60 Billion To Iran, World’s Top Terror Sponsor

Since 1984, the U.S. listed Iran as a “state sponsor of terror.” So, why was Biden so intent on helping them?

By making concessions to the Mullahs who operate the world’s largest state sponsor of terror, the Biden Administration has directly or indirectly pumped more than $50 billion into their coffers enabling untold violence, international destabilization, that threatens our our allies.

It allowed the sale of Iranian oil worth approximately $40 billion.

It allowed the sale of electricity to Iraq, bringing in an estimated $10 billion to the regime.

Most recently, it released another $6 billion to Iran in Iranian cash. Fortunately for all, the current custodian of that cash, Qatar, has agreed to hold onto those payouts for now.

Despite universal opprobrium and hard sanctions on Iran, Yale University and The Johns Hopkins University have partnered with Iranian entities for research in country since 2013 on the U.S. taxpayer’s dime. Both universities hold massive endowments and don’t need the taxpayer’s help. Furthermore, both were recently criticized for not rebuking the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel.

House, Senate Set for Showdown Over Ukraine, Israel Funding

The Biden administration has requested $14.3 billion in additional assistance to Israel and $61 billion in supplemental aid to Ukraine.

As the war between Israel and the terrorist group Hamas intensifies, with the Jewish state initiating a ground operation into Hamas-controlled Gaza over the weekend, Congress is divided over whether to intertwine or separate aid to Israel and Ukraine, which is under attack by Russia.

The Biden administration has requested $14.3 billion in additional assistance to Israel and $61.4 billion in supplemental aid to Ukraine. This is part of a supplemental request totaling $105 billion that also includes $850 million in funding for border security and $2 billion for the Indo-Pacific.

For Ukraine assistance, the administration has requested $44.4 billion in overall military aid. For Israel, the White House has asked for $10.6 billion in air and missile and other defense assistance. The administration is also seeking $9.15 billion in humanitarian assistance for Gaza, Israel, and Ukraine.

You can’t gag Trump!

Judge Reverses Pause on Trump Gag Order in Federal Election Case

A federal judge has sided with the government and denied President Trump’s request to pause the gag order during the appeals process.

A federal judge has reinstated a gag order she previously ordered on former President Donald Trump in the Department of Justice’s federal election case accusing him of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan had initially approved President Trump’s request for an administrative stay, or pause, on the gag order requested by government prosecutor special counsel Jack Smith. The gag order prohibited remarks that would “target” the prosecution and defense legal teams, court staff, and potential witnesses.

In Judge Chutkan’s initial written opinion, she dismissed arguments made for First Amendment defenses, writing that the obligation to protect the proceedings from outside interference preceded First Amendment rights.

Trump Gag Order Targets Actions of Others, Not Trump: Attorney

The attorneys wrote that such censorship of a political candidate constituted a ‘heckler’s veto.’

Attorneys for former President Donald Trump argued that the gag order issued by a federal judge in Washington, was neither “narrow” nor “tailored” and cited reasoning as others’ potential actions rather than any harm the former president could bring himself.

On Saturday, the brief was filed in response to the Department of Justice’s opposition to lifting the gag order while President Trump appeals it.

“It uses undefined, ambiguous terms such as ‘target’ that arguably (and unconstitutionally) encompass essentially all statements regarding this case, no matter how innocuous, unless they fall within three narrow (and equally vague) safe harbors,” the new filing reads.

‘Unthinkable’: President Trump Responds to Reinstatement of Gag Order

The gag order prevents the former president from making public statements about certain people involved in the indictment.

Former President Donald Trump has criticized the reinstatement of a gag order against him in a federal indictment case, insisting that the restrictions take away his free speech rights “in the middle of my campaign for President.”

“I have just learned that the very Biased, Trump-Hating Judge in D.C., who should have RECUSED herself due to her blatant and open loathing of your favorite President, ME, has reimposed a GAG ORDER which will put me at a disadvantage against my prosecutorial and political opponents,” President Trump said in an Oct. 30 Truth Social post. “This order, according to many legal scholars, is unthinkable!

“It illegally and unconstitutionally takes away my First Amendment Right of Free Speech, in the middle of my campaign for President, where I am leading against BOTH Parties in the Polls. Few can believe this is happening, but I will appeal. How can they tell the leading candidate that he, and only he, is seriously restricted from campaigning in a free and open manner? It will not stand!”

When you let crime run rampant, you get what you get!

Report: George Soros-Backed District Attorney Pamela Price’s Laptop Stolen in Crime-Ridden Oakland

George Soros-backed Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price was reportedly the victim of a car burglary on Friday afternoon in Oakland, California.

Sources said Price’s work laptop was stolen while her vehicle was parked outside a family justice center near 27th Street and Telegraph Avenue, ABC 7 reported.

D.C. Juvenile Shot and Killed During Attempted Carjacking of Federal Officer

A Washington, DC, 13-year-old juvenile was shot and killed during an attempted carjacking of a federal officer in Northwest on Saturday, according to police.

The tragic incident is representative of the soaring crime in the District:

A total of 760 carjackings occurred in the first ten months of 2023, police data show.

Sixty-five percent of those arrested for carjacking are juveniles.

U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves, who is responsible for prosecuting those D.C. police arrests,  prosecuted only 56 percent of those police arrested in 2023.

It’s Halloween! Great day for an exorcism … really? Wait ‘til you read this!

Catholic Priest Warns Ouija Boards Lead to ‘Demonic Possession’

Ouija boards and other attempts to contact the dead should be avoided because “angels, demons, spirits, and souls do exist, and they can have an impact on our life,” an exorcist priest warns this Halloween season.

“We too often forget that there is much more to this world than meets the eye,” Fr. Dan Reehil, a priest of the Diocese of Nashville, told Fox News Digital in a Monday report.

Trick-or-Treat!: Some American Towns Ban Teens from Halloween Pastime

As children across the nation ready their costumes for Halloween, the question of how old is too old for trick-or-treating has resurfaced.

It is against the law for some teenagers and adults to enjoy the activity in some American towns, however, many residents do not agree there should be an age limit, NPR reported Monday:

In one famous example, Chesapeake, Va., until recently had a 1970s law on the books threatening any teen caught trick-or-treating with up to six months in jail.

The city changed the law after a massive backlash. But its statute still says kids over 14 who trick-or-treat are guilty of a misdemeanor.

An ordinance in Taylorville, Illinois, says it is illegal for those over 13 to trick-or-treat on Halloween, News Channel 20 reported Friday.

Candy Inflation Hits Double Digits for Second Halloween in a Row

U.S. consumers are dealing with double-digit Halloween candy inflation for the second year in a row, with prices being an average of 13 percent higher this month compared to last October.

Retail price tracker Datasembly’s latest Grocery Price Index, based on “data collected from over 150,000 stores that represent 200+ retail banners” across the nation, revealed the spooky numbers on October 11. The index shared that sweet treats inflation “over-indexes the entire Grocery category at 6.7 percent for the same time period.”

We couldn’t leave Joe out … dressed as a competent leader? LOL

Biden Can’t Even Hand Out Halloween Candy Without Problems Arising

The world seems to be blowing up all around us, yet Joe Biden is still doing Joe Biden-like things — spending his time at the beach and engaging in activities that solve none of the problems he helped to create. He managed to make it back from the beach on Monday but his events were about anything except dealing with the chaos.

What was on Biden’s public schedule on Monday?

An event with Kamala Harris talking about their commitment to “safe AI” and giving out Halloween candy. Nothing at all about the hundreds of Americans trapped in Gaza that Hamas wouldn’t allow to leave or the American hostages who are being held. Leftists like to call Gaza an “open-air prison,” but if it is, it’s Hamas who are the jailers, not Israel.

But back to that important duty that Biden had to do — doling out candy to little kids visiting the White House.

It’s bad when he can’t even do that without problems.

Jill Biden was dressed as their cat, Willow, which she announced in her typically cringy way.

Rep. Eric Swalwell Testifies in Case to Keep Trump Off the Ballot

He was in disbelief, he said as he teared up during the testimony.

Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) testified on Oct. 30 in a trial in Colorado in a case that seeks to keep former President Donald Trump from appearing on the Colorado primary ballot.

Mr. Swalwell testified via video conference, describing the events of Jan. 6, 2021, from his perspective. He was in the Capitol when the Electoral College votes were being certified and had “gaveled” the Congress in that day, leading the pledge of allegiance.

“We connected the president’s tweets to our own safety in the chambers,” he said, “and the integrity of the proceedings taking place.”

Attorneys showed him a post on Twitter, now known as X, in which President Trump wrote that Vice President Mike Pence didn’t have the “courage” to give states “a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify.”

“USA demands the truth!” the president wrote.

“We interpreted it as a target had been painted on the Capitol,” Mr. Swalwell said.

No more UAW Strike?  Wait ‘til you see the new sticker price of their vehicles!

UAW Strike Ends with Higher Wages, Better Benefits for Auto Workers

The United Auto Workers (UAW) will end its strike against the Big Three as the labor union has reportedly reached a tentative agreement with General Motors (GM). The UAW had, in the last few days, reached similar deals with Ford and Stellantis.

On Monday morning, reports circulated that the UAW had reached a deal with GM. According to details available, the deal mimics many components of the union’s deal with Ford, where base wages will increase 25 percent through April 2028.

US Supreme Court Rejects Challenge to Trump’s Steel Import Tariffs

President Joe Biden’s administration has defended the tariffs as properly created.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Oct. 30 rejected a challenge from a manufacturer to tariffs on steel imports that were created by former President Donald Trump and have been kept in place by President Joe Biden.

The justices declined to hear PrimeSource Building Products’ appeal of a lower court decision that upheld a 25 percent tariff on imports of steel derivatives.

The court did not explain its decision.

The United States Is Borrowing to Disguise Recession

Commentary – The headline economic figures for the United States look robust. However, details show concerning weaknesses.

Real gross domestic product (GDP) growth surged to 4.9 percent in the third quarter, above the consensus estimate of 4.5 percent. However, some analysts, including Bloomberg, expected up to 5 percent growth based on the Nowcast estimates.

U.S. unemployment also is low, at 3.8 percent, although real wage growth remains negative, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Between September 2022 and September 2023, the decrease in real average weekly earnings was 0.1 percent. This means that a tight labor market isn’t improving the real disposable income of workers. In addition, the labor participation rate and employment-to-population ratio remain below pre-pandemic levels. Add rising taxes to inflation, eating away at wage growth, and you can see why things are more complicated than what headlines suggest.

The cracks in the bullish story will appear soon. Consumer spending grew at a strong 4 percent annualized rate in the third quarter, which surprised most analysts after a weak 0.8 percent in the previous reading. The worrying fact is that this rise in consumption comes mostly from higher debt, as U.S. consumers are borrowing heavily to spend on entertainment. The rise in services was 3.6 percent, while real disposable income is negative (-0.1 percent) and household credit card debt reached a new record.

Unsurprisingly, credit card debt rose to a new high of more than $1 trillion, with the average consumer running a $5,900 debt on his or her card, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Last year, credit card interest rose to $105 billion, and this year will be much higher.

The Essential Guide to Lyme Disease: Symptoms, Causes, Treatments, and Natural Approaches

Lyme disease is a tick-borne infection thought to affect between 300,000 to 476,000 Americans each year.

What Are the Natural Approaches to Lyme Disease?

While traditional treatment for Lyme disease is centered around antibiotics and other medications, natural approaches may aid in managing symptoms for those living with Lyme.

Some laboratory cell culture research has attempted to uncover the mechanism by which essential oils may help symptom management. Many theorize that the antimicrobial properties of these oils may help control the growth of the bacterial pathogen. While further research is needed on these specific combinations of essential oils, there is likely no downside to someone with Lyme disease diffusing them in their environments. Within this particular study of cultures, the following oils showed effectiveness in activity against the bacteria, with the active compound in oregano being the most effective:

  • Bandit.
  • Oregano.
  • Clove bud.
  • Geranium bourbon.
  • Cinnamon bark.

In addition, following an anti-inflammatory diet with the inclusion of a variety of foods can help mitigate symptoms. Limiting processed foods, refined carbs, sugars, and inflammatory seed oils may help those living with Lyme disease experience less inflammation, improving symptoms and quality of life.

The Essential Guide to Lupus: Symptoms, Causes, Treatments, and Natural Approaches

About 1.5 million Americans and 5 million people globally have some type of lupus.

Lupus, short for lupus erythematosus, is an incurable chronic autoimmune disease capable of damaging any part of the body and manifesting with a wide range of symptoms affecting nearly any organ. The term “lupus” is Latin for “wolf” and was first used by a 13th-century physician to describe the disease’s facial lesions, which he believed resembled a wolf bite.

The Lupus Foundation of America estimates that about 1.5 million Americans and 5 million people globally have some type of lupus. Lupus most often affects women of childbearing age.

Vitamin B12 May Lower Inflammation, Study Suggests

Rising Vitamin B12 levels linked to reduced inflammation, highlighting its essential role in combating chronic diseases.

Vitamin B12 is more than just another nutrient. It’s a key player in maintaining our health and well-being. Recent studies have highlighted its pivotal role in managing inflammation, a root cause of many chronic diseases.

Recent findings published in the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture have uncovered a significant correlation between vitamin B12 deficiency and chronic inflammation. This inflammation can pave the way for conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and even certain brain disorders.

NAFLD Has Become a Health Emergency Among Children

NAFLD is characterized by excess fat buildup in your liver. Without proper treatment, it can lead to serious liver problems including nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), which causes inflammation and fibrosis, or scarring of the liver. NAFLD also increases the risk of other health conditions, including cardiovascular disease

The first documented cases of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) didn’t come about until 1980. Today, NAFLD affects 32.4% of people globally, and it’s the most common cause of liver transplant in adults under the age of 50

NAFLD also affects up to 9.6% of American children aged 2 to 19, making it as common as asthma. In 15- to 19-year-olds, prevalence is as high as 17.3%. Prevalence among children 0 to 17 has risen 168.3% since 2017, with a particularly precipitous rise starting in 2020

The dramatic rise in NAFLD in early 2020 may in part be due to the COVID lockdowns, which had the effect of raising childhood obesity rates by 8.3% to 13.4%, depending on the age group

Maternal obesity and high consumption of diet soda and/or junk food during pregnancy have both been linked to NAFLD in offspring, and one theory is that artificial sweeteners may be programming the metabolism of the fetus to favor fat storage over energy production

Sam Altman: AI Is Learning ‘Superhuman Persuasion’

Humanity is likely still a long way away from building artificial general intelligence (AGI), or an AI that matches the cognitive function of humans — if, of course, we’re ever actually able to do so.

But whether such a future comes to pass or not, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has a warning: AI doesn’t have to be AGI-level smart to take control of our feeble human minds.

“I expect AI to be capable of superhuman persuasion well before it is superhuman at general intelligence,” Altman tweeted on Tuesday, “which may lead to some very strange outcomes.”

Google Antitrust Trial: Internet Giant Spent $26.3 Billion to Maintain Default Search Engine Status on Devices in 2021

Google shelled out a whopping $26.3 billion in 2021 to ensure that it remains the default search engine on various devices, including mobile phones and web browsers. The disclosure is a tantalizing piece of data that has come out of an antitrust trial that remains veiled in secrecy.

CNBC reports that Google spent a staggering $26.3 billion last year to maintain its dominance as the default search engine on a multitude of platforms. The total amount of its payments came out as part of an internal slide presentation that was disclosed as part of the federal antitrust lawsuit against the internet giant on Friday. This hefty sum wasn’t paid to a single entity but was rather distributed among various partners, with tech giant Apple likely being the prime beneficiary.

Berkey is back in the news again … Gaetz starts questioning the EPA!

EPA Sued for Trying to Label Certain Water Filters as Pesticides

October 16, 2023, Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., began pressing the Environmental Protection Agency for answers about the move to force major water filtration companies that use silver to label their products as a “pesticide”

Since the 1990s, silver has been used in water filtration devices without reports of health hazards or incidents. The second most popular filtration system, Berkey Water Filters, has filed suit against the EPA, alleging the rules were changed without notice or compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., wrote to the EPA administrator noting silver is not, on its own, considered a pesticide and that the EPA should be helping incentivize water-filtration systems to protect people from contaminated municipal and well water supplies

EWG testing showed Berkey filters remove 100% of PFAS from the water supply, which has contaminated well over 100 million American public utilities and has been found in 97% of Americans tested for the contaminant

The underlying reason for attacking water filtration systems that have used silver for over 25 years without incident has not yet been identified. But it is apparent that while the EPA has known about the damage PFAS has on human health, they have done little to nothing for over five decades to protect your drinking water from this ubiquitous chemical

Maine gunman’s family reached out to sheriff five months before shootings

Five months before the deadliest mass shooting in Maine’s history, the gunman’s family alerted the local sheriff that they were becoming concerned about his deteriorating mental health while he had access to firearms, authorities said Monday.

After the alert, the Sagadohoc county sheriff’s office reached out to officials of Robert Card’s army reserve unit, which assured deputies that they would speak to Card and make sure he got medical attention, sheriff Joel Merry said.

The family’s concern about Card’s mental health dated back to early this year before the sheriff’s office was contacted in May, marking the earliest in a string of interactions that police had with the 40-year-old firearms instructor before he marched into a Lewiston bowling alley and a bar last Wednesday, killing 18 people and wounding 13 others.

Democrat Infighting Breaks Out over Support for Israel

Democrat infighting over Israel threatened to turn physical Friday, after Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) repeatedly called Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) “cowardly” in an interview and said, “We can handle it like gentlemen or we can get into something else.”

Carson was responding to a post on X by Gottheimer where he slammed 15 Democrat colleagues who voted against or “present” on a House resolution expressing support for Israel as “despicable.”

Carson’s threat drew criticism from prominent Jewish progressives. Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, posted:
