Knowledge is Power

Today’s News: June 19, 2023

Today’s Top 5:
  1. It Begins: 20 Heavily Armed IRS and ATF Agents Raid Great Falls Gun Store, Seize Firearm Purchase Records

In an unprecedented move, twenty armed Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents carried out a raid on a gun store in Great Falls, Montana, seizing all Form 4473 – documents that record buyer’s information during firearms transactions.

Tom Van Hoose, owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters, alleges that he has been under constant surveillance by state and federal agencies for over two years, KRTV reported.

On Wednesday, the gun shop owner reported an unexpected visit from 20 heavily armed IRS and ATF agents at his store.

The agents reportedly arrived at the shop early in the morning, as Van Hoose was opening for the day.

  1. Federal Judge Issues Order on Trump’s Classified Documents Case

U.S. district judge Aileen Cannon handed down an order in connection to former President Donald Trump’s classified materials case.

Cannon, in brief Thursday order, instructed all parties involved to obtain security clearances for lawyers who will need them. The order appears to emphasize the sensitivity of the case, as it is dealing with classified materials that a president could access.

“On or before June 16, 2023, all attorneys of record and forthcoming attorneys of record shall contact the Litigation Security Group of the U.S. Department of Justice, if they have not done so already, to expedite the necessary clearance process for all team members anticipated to participate in this matter, and thereafter file a Notice of Compliance” no later than June 20, Cannon wrote.

  1. IN-DEPTH: Farmers Band Together Against CO2 Pipeline Project in South Dakota

On their way to attend their niece’s wedding in July 2021, fourth-generation farmer Ed Fischbach of Mellette, South Dakota, and his wife made a quick stop to check the mailbox.

His wife reached inside, pulling out a handful of letters. Within the small pile was an envelope from a company she had never heard of—Summit Carbon Solutions.

She opened the letter and began reading it.

“Dear landowner,” the letter began innocently enough. But as she continued reading, her jaw nearly dropped.

  1. Due to Schedule Impasse, RFK Jr. Appears Poised to Win New Hampshire Primary

In what some Republican leaders are calling a classic case of cutting off your nose to spite your face, President Joe Biden could lose his own party nomination to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in New Hampshire’s historically important primary in the race for the presidency.

Biden’s successful push to re-calendar New Hampshire’s long-standing First in the Nation primary, making it second to South Carolina, means the president’s name will likely not appear on the state’s Democrat primary ballot.

Both Republican and Democrat leaders in New Hampshire have meanwhile vowed not to yield to the schedule change and have cited a state law that prohibits the move anyway.

That leaves RFK Jr. and Marianne Willamson to take the state’s Democrat nomination. Biden’s recent vow not to campaign in the Granite State increases the already high likelihood that Biden’s name won’t be on the ballot.

  1. House Judiciary Committee: IRS Agent Used Fake Identity, Spoke ‘Aggressively’ to Taxpayer During House Visit

An IRS agent used an alias and false pretenses to make a tax inquiry during a visit to an Ohio resident’s home in April, according to the House Judiciary Committee.

Committee chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) laid out the details of the incident, which he described as “bizarre,” in a letter Friday to IRS Commissioner Daniel Werfel, asking Werfel for an array of documents related to the matter.

Hate Speech Law to ‘Restrict Freedom’ for the ‘Common Good’, Claims Irish Senator

Impending hate speech legislation is about “restricting freedom” for the “common good”, the chairwoman of the Irish Green Party said this week.

Appearing before the Irish Senate (Seanad) this week, Green Party chairwoman Pauline O’Reilly admitted that the intention of proposed legislation to further curtail speech in Emerald Isle is intended to “restrict freedom”, but in an Orwellian turn attempted to convince the public that this would somehow be in their interests.

McCarthy Threatens to Block Funding of Visa Waivers for Chile Over Linked Burglaries

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy threatened to use the congressional spending bill to block funding of a visa waiver program for Chile that has been blamed for a sharp rise in organized crime including home burglaries and robberies in the United States.

The rise in residential and business crimes is linked to a Chilean crime syndicate, McCarthy told reporters at a press conference on June 16 in Santa Ana, California, following a roundtable discussion with Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer, law enforcement officials, and California-based Republicans in Congress.

Chile won’t let the United States do criminal background checks on Chilean nationals entering the country on visa waivers even though thousands of Chilean nationals have been arrested for organized crime in America, McCarthy said.

U.S. NEWS, POLITICS & GOVERNMENT

When is the White House going to show up?  This what you get with vague and ambiguous news reporting with journalists that can’t get their facts in order with pin-point accuracy:

Rep. Jim Jordan Threatens White House With Subpoenas Over Social Media Censorship

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has threatened to subpoena the White House for records on how the executive branch allegedly colluded with social media companies to suppress Americans’ free speech.

Jordan made the demand in a June 15 letter (pdf) to White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, asking him to turn over records on how the White House “coerced and colluded with companies and other intermediaries to censor speech.”

The request comes as the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government that Jordan chairs has been probing allegations that the Biden administration pressured Big Tech to suppress dissenting views.

Let’s face it … the FBI is NOT going to cooperate!

DOJ Responds to House GOP Request for Information on Mar-a-Lago FBI Raid

The Department of Justice (DOJ) rejected a House Republican request to disclose information connected to the FBI’s search and raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago last August for alleged classified documents.

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) had requested the information in a letter sent to the DOJ, asking for information about the classified materials that were discovered in the search. That included communications between the FBI’s Washington office and the U.S. Secret Service.

On Friday, the DOJ rejected (pdf) Jordan’s request and argued that it couldn’t provide “non-public information about an ongoing criminal investigation and prosecution by a Special Counsel.”

“Protecting the confidentiality of non-public information regarding investigations and prosecutions preserves the American people’s confidence in the evenhanded administration of justice by guarding against the appearance of political pressure or other improper attempts to influence Department decisions,” Assistant Attorney General Carlos Uriarte wrote in a letter to Jordan.

Make Evidence in Biden Corruption Probe Public, Top Democrat Tells FBI

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), the ranking Democratic member on the House Oversight Committee, has asked the FBI to make public evidence that would confirm that President Joe Biden isn’t under federal investigation for bribery.

At issue are allegations made by an FBI informant and documented in form FD-1023 claiming that then-Vice President Biden engaged in a $5 million bribery scheme with a foreign national in exchange for certain actions.

Hunter Biden, the president’s son, was alleged to have been part of the “arrangement” and to have cashed in on $5 million, per the form.

Muddying up “the pool” for their own self-interests?

ANALYSIS: Not Every Republican Running in 2024 Has Sights Set on the Presidency

As more and more candidates jump into the GOP 2024 pool, speculation has mounted about their motivations. Do all of them really believe they could be looking back at America from the Oval Office by January 2025—or do some have a different destiny in mind?

Multiple insiders have stressed to The Epoch Times that anyone who enters contention imagines themselves winning, even with the perceived incumbent, former President Donald J. Trump, already enjoying a commanding lead in many polls (though his chief rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has outpaced Trump in fundraising).

After all, politicians don’t have small egos.

ANALYSIS: Vatican Official Denies Whistleblower’s Mussolini-Era UAP Cover-Up Claim

A Vatican official has denied a recent whistleblower’s claim that it was involved in a cover-up of extraterrestrial craft.

David Grusch, a decorated Air Force veteran and former senior intelligence officer, reported to media outlets The Debrief and NewsNation that classified information about the government’s possession of craft of nonhuman origin has been illegally withheld from Congress.

Grusch told interviewers he handed classified information on the craft to Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General and filed a complaint that he’s suffered from retaliation since becoming a whistleblower.

The publication of his statements on June 5 was followed up by a publication of more segments from the interview on June 11 in which he claimed that Pope Pius XII backchannelled a partially intact UAP Italian Dictator Benito Mussolini’s regime discovered in 1933.

Historically, it’s been reported that Mussolini documented UAPs, as demonstrated by the Italian Secret Services’ internal memo showing drawings of craft, according to NewsNation.

Florida Police: Illegal Alien Kidnapped, Beat, Raped Woman in ‘Sadistic’ Attack

An illegal alien was accused of kidnapping, beating, and raping a woman in what police have called a “sadistic” attack in Lee County, Florida, on Saturday.

Julio Velazquez, an illegal alien who arrived at the United States-Mexico border in 2021, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and charged with sexual assault and kidnapping after allegedly picking up a woman from a nightclub, taking her to a wooded location, and beating and raping her before she eventually fled.

Westchester County DA Ends Investigation Into Trump Golf Course

Former President Donald Trump applauded a suburban New York prosecutor after she dropped a two-year criminal investigation into him and his company.

Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Rocah, a Democrat, said in a statement on June 15 that her office had closed the case against Trump after an investigation that was conducted “objectively, and independent of politics, party affiliation and personal or political beliefs.”

Her office did not file charges against Trump or the Trump Organization.

Trump applauded Rocah’s decision, writing on his Truth Social account that ending the investigation “WAS THE HONORABLE THING TO DO IN THAT I DID NOTHING WRONG.”

“BUT WHERE AND WHEN DO I GET MY REPUTATION BACK? WHEN WILL THE OTHER FAKE CASES AGAINST ME BE DROPPED?” Trump added. “ELECTION INTERFERENCE!!!”

Poll Shows RFK Jr. With Highest Favorability Rating of All Presidential Candidates

Dismissed as a longshot candidate by many political pundits, Democrat Robert F. Kennedy Jr. carries the highest net favorability of all 2024 presidential candidates, according to a recent poll (pdf) from The Economist/YouGov.

Kennedy was viewed favorably by 49 percent of the respondents, which translates to a net favorability rating of 19 points. He was seen as unfavorable by 30 percent.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, who is currently the frontrunner among Republican candidates, had 45 percent and 43 percent of the respondents view them in a favorable way.

Biden’s net favorability rating was minus 7 while Trump had a minus 10 net favorability rating.

Former Oath Keepers Attorney Ruled Incompetent to Stand Trial on Jan 6 Charges

Former Oath Keepers general counsel Kellye SoRelle has been ruled incompetent to stand trial on four Jan. 6 criminal counts, suspending her prosecution indefinitely while she seeks mental health treatment.

At a hearing on June 16 in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., Judge Amit Mehta ruled that SoRelle will not stand trial as scheduled on July 10.

SoRelle’s attorney, federal public defender Horatio Aldredge IV of Austin, Texas, told Judge Mehta that SoRelle would require inpatient mental health treatment as soon as a slot becomes available. Details of SoRelle’s condition were not released.

SoRelle, 44, of Granbury, Texas, was indicted on Aug. 31, 2022, on charges of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of an official proceeding, i.e. aiding and abetting, entering, and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; and obstruction of justice, i.e., tampering with documents.

Airline Fined $15K After Woman ‘Ingested’ into Plane’s Engine

A subsidiary of American Airlines has received a hefty fine following the death of a ground crew worker who was ingested into a plane’s engine in Alabama.

The Occupational Health and Safety Administration’s $15,000 fine against Piedmont Airlines comes as investigators say it was to blame for a safety breach, the New York Post reported Friday.

Harvard Poll: Most Voters Say Trump Indictment Is Election Interference, Believe He’ll Be Acquitted

Majorities of registered voters believe that special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of former President Donald Trump is “politically motivated” and election interference, according to a Harvard/Harris poll.

A portion of the poll, which was conducted after Trump’s arraignment, gauged public perception of the 37-count indictment relating to classified documents Trump allegedly took to Mar-a-Lago at the end of his presidency.

2ND AMENDMENT

Joe Biden: Stabilizer Braces Make Pistols Shoot ‘Higher Caliber’ Bullets

President Joe Biden boasted of his executive push for the new Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) AR-pistol stabilizer brace rule and claimed the braces make pistols shoot “higher caliber” bullets during the Safer Communities Summit Friday.

Biden talked at length about the gun control Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) helped him pass in mid-summer 2022, then talked about his executive action against guns that the Democrats refer to as “ghost guns.”

Confusion as Biden Blurts Out ‘God Save the Queen, Man’ at End of Gun Control Speech in Connecticut

Joe Biden on Friday left Americans scratching their heads with an off-the-cuff remark that was, well, royally unusual for a US president: “God save the queen, man!”

What he meant, which queen he was referring to, and why he threw in what sounded like the traditional patriotic British cry, no one could immediately tell.

At Least 21 Shot at Juneteenth Celebration in Gun-Controlled Illinois

At least 21 people were shot, one of them fatally, at a Juneteenth celebration in gun-controlled Illinois on Sunday morning around 12:30 a.m.

CNN reported the shooting occurred “in a parking lot in Willowbrook, about 21 miles west of Chicago.”

Unanimous Supreme Court Ruling Eases Prison Sentences for Some Gun Crimes

Some people convicted of gun crimes can spend less time in prison, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on June 16.

Sentences for certain gun crimes can run concurrently, the nation’s top court said in a unanimous decision, siding with the convict.

“Congress could certainly have designed the penalty scheme at issue here differently. But Congress did not do any of these things. And we must implement the design Congress chose,” Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, a Biden appointee, wrote in the ruling (pdf).

ECONOMY & BUSINESS

US National Debt Hits All-Time High of $32 Trillion

The U.S. national debt has surpassed $32 trillion for the first time in U.S. history, Treasury Department data released on June 17 showed.

The national debt as of June 16 is at an all-time high of $32.04 trillion, according to the Treasury’s daily statement (pdf).

This represents about $25 trillion in debt held by the public, and about $7 trillion in intragovernmental debt (pdf).

American Citizens’ 401(k) Accounts Lost a Fifth of Their Value in 2022

The balances of 401(k) retirement accounts have declined in 2022, with the share of participants who are making “hardship withdrawals” hitting a “new high,” according to a recent report by investment firm Vanguard.

“In 2022, the average account balance for Vanguard participants was $112,572; the median balance was $27,376. Vanguard participants’ average account balances decreased by 20 percent since year-end 2021,” Vanguard’s “How America Saves 2023” report (pdf) said. Last year’s average and median account balances were the lowest in three years. Many participants also withdrew from their 401(k) accounts early, with hardship withdrawal activity in 2022 rising higher than anytime previously.

Bud Light Maker CEO Responds to Boycott in New Statement: ‘We Hear You’

The company that manufactures Bud Light issued a new statement to customers in light of a weeks-long boycott that has caused the beer’s sales to drop significantly after the brand issued a promotional can with a transgender activist’s face on it.

In a statement released on Thursday, the CEO of Anheuser-Busch’s U.S. division, Brendan Whitworth, appeared to make reference to the boycott. The statement, however, did not mention Mulvaney or any of the controversy surrounding the brand’s move.

Biden’s Deputies Hide Mass Fraud in H-1B Middle-Class Outsourcing Visa

Indian-born CEOs are closing their firms and fleeing back to India to escape charges of fraud in the annual lotteries for visas to import H-1B foreign contract workers, says a lawyer for many Indian-owned subcontractors and visa workers.

“So yes, they are getting prosecuted, they are getting investigated, and that’s the reason why some of them are packing their bags and closing their companies,” said Rahul Reddy, an immigration lawyer in Texas.

SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY

When science tries to play God, this is what you get!

Synthetic Human Embryos: No Need For Eggs Or Sperm

Scientists have created synthetic human embryos using stem cells, in a groundbreaking advance that sidesteps the need for eggs or sperm.

Scientists say these model embryos, which resemble those in the earliest stages of human development, could provide a crucial window on the impact of genetic disorders and the biological causes of recurrent miscarriage.

However, the work also raises serious ethical and legal issues as the lab-grown entities fall outside current legislation in the UK and most other countries.

The structures do not have a beating heart or the beginnings of a brain, but include cells that would typically go on to form the placenta, yolk sac and the embryo itself.

Prof Magdalena Żernicka-Goetz, of the University of Cambridge and the California Institute of Technology, described the work in a plenary address on Wednesday at the International Society for Stem Cell Research’s annual meeting in Boston.

“We can create human embryo-like models by the reprogramming of [embryonic stem] cells,” she told the meeting.

There is no near-term prospect of the synthetic embryos being used clinically. It would be illegal to implant them into a patient’s womb, and it is not yet clear whether these structures have the potential to continue maturing beyond the earliest stages of development.

And what will happen to society as we know it when this technology goes wrong in humans?

CRISPR Gone Wrong: Fluffy Hamsters Turn Into ‘Aggressive’ Rage Monsters

A team of scientists in the US have accidentally created overly-aggressive mutant hamsters following a gene-editing experiment.

Using the controversial CRISPR technology, researchers at Northwestern University were examining a hormone called vasopressin and its receptor, Avpr1a.

They opted to try and remove the latter from a group of Syrian hamsters, with the expectation it would increase bonding and co-operation between the lovable little critters.

That’s because Avpr1a is understood to regulate things like teamwork and friendship as well as dominance and bonding.

Their expectation proved to be wrong. Very wrong.

‘We were really surprised at the results,’ said Professor H Elliot Albers, the lead researcher on the study.

‘We anticipated that if we eliminated vasopressin activity, we would reduce both aggression and social communication.

‘But the opposite happened.’

Open the Pod Bay Doors, Bezos: Amazon Shuts Down Man’s *Entire* Smart Home After Delivery Worker Claims Racism

Earlier this month, Amazon locked a man out of his account, disrupting his extensive smart home system. The suspension was driven by a delivery driver who claimed the man used a racial slur through his automated doorbell system. The only problem is that the man captured the entire interaction on his security system — the communication to the worker was an automated greeting of, “Excuse me, can I help you?”

In a post to Medium, Brandon Jackson outlined how his smart home system was disrupted by a week-long lockout from his Amazon account.

Sounding Alarm Over Thought Crime Programs, Rutherford Institute Warns College Against Tracking Religious, Political Ideologies

Responding to a report suggesting that the University of Virginia should consider tracking the religious and political affiliations/ideologies of students and faculty, The Rutherford Institute has warned that such a program would raise significant constitutional concerns, especially as it pertains to the right of citizens to associate anonymously without being compelled by the government to disclose their political or religious beliefs.

“Any attempt by a government agency to establish a system by which the populace can be targeted, tracked and singled out based upon their ideological viewpoints and affiliations must be met with extreme caution,” said constitutional attorney John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Institute and author of Battlefield America: The War on the American People. “In an age when the government has significant technological resources at its disposal to not only carry out warrantless surveillance on American citizens but also to harvest and mine that data for its own dubious purposes, whether it be crime-mapping or profiling based on whatever criteria the government wants to use to target and segregate the populace—including race, religion or politics—the potential for abuse is grave.”

Texas Power Grid Warning: Demand Will Rise Considerably Amid Soaring Temperatures

The Texas state power grid is anticipating higher demand due to rising temperatures, with the state predicted to see “dangerous heat” this weekend.

“ERCOT has issued a Weather Watch June 15-21 due to forecasted higher temperatures and anticipated higher electrical demand,” the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), the state’s power grid operator, said in a June 14 post on Twitter. The operator’s grid conditions remained “Normal” as of 01:00 p.m. EDT, with operating reserves at 6,094 MW. ERCOT manages the flow of electric power to over 26 million customers in Texas, representing roughly 90 percent of the state’s electric load.

The National Weather Service (NWS) of Houston/Galveston has issued a heat warning for Sunday, with many places expected to see temperatures of 100 degrees or more.

“Dangerous Heat is expected on Sunday. Highs across SE Texas will reach the upper 90s, likely breaking triple digits. Heat Indices will near or exceed 112 degrees,” the agency said.

EV Range Dips Nearly 25 Percent While Carrying Load: AAA

The range of electric vehicles can fall by up to a quarter when made to carry heavy loads, according to a study conducted by the American Automobile Association (AAA) on Ford’s EV pickup truck F-150 Lightning.

In an unloaded state, the 2022 Lightning had a driving range of 278 miles. However, with a payload of 1,400 pounds, the driving range dropped to 210 miles, a decline of 68 miles or 24.5 percent from the unloaded range, according to the June 13 study. Such payloads are equivalent to hauling around 20 bags of concrete mix. AAA advised that prospective buyers of EVs who are likely to carry heavy loads regularly should “consider the impact this can have to their driving range.”

“This study is important for broadening our understanding of the limitations of electric vehicles,” said Adrienne Woodland, spokesperson for AAA, according to a June 13 post. “Range anxiety remains a top reason consumers are hesitant to switch from gasoline-powered vehicles to EVs.”

Geoengineering Watch Global Alert News, June 17, 2023, #410

Physicists have now officially “predicted” that Earth will become a “chaotic” world with “dire consequences”. Have the so called experts acknowledged climate engineering operations yet? No. Fresh snow in Utah while the Texas coast hits heat index temperatures of over 120F. Summer snow is also in the forecast for portions of Western Canada where record high temperatures and wildfires have raged for weeks. What’s wrong with this picture? Another group of “experts’ has just authored a report stating “geoengineering is shockingly inexpensive”. They further suggest that we should “embrace” geoengineering and put aside our “unfounded” fears. Welcome to the planetary asylum, how long till impact?

What Toxic Wildfires Can Teach Us About COPD and COVID-19

A fairly under-recognized medical problem is large numbers of people becoming ill from an air pollutant (e.g., after the recent East Palestine train derailment). One of the most common causes of this is the smoke from wildfires converging on a single area. Recently, that resulted in New York city having the worst air quality in the world.

How to Build a Healthy Home

While commonly overlooked, the materials used in the building of your home can have a significant impact on your health

“Prescription for a Healthy House: A Practical Guide for Architects, Builders and Homeowners,” co-written by Paula Baker-Laporte, principal architect at EcoNest Architecture, is a complete guidebook to building a healthy nontoxic home

Toxic chemicals, mold and electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are common sources of chronic health problems

Elevated EMF is typically the result of improperly grounded electrical systems due to inept electricians. One way to avoid this is to measure the EMFs before you consider purchasing or renting, because it is far easier, and far less costly, to find a home that’s acceptable from the start than it is to remediate

Also get general air testing done before buying or renting to check for chemicals and mold. There are several labs and industrial hygienists who can collect air samples that can then be tested for hundreds of potential pollutants, including mold

Iowa Supreme Court Issues Rare 3–3 Decision, Declines to Reinstate Abortion Law

The Iowa Supreme Court, in a 3–3 decision, declined to reinstate a six-week ban on abortions that was backed by the state’s governor.

A 2019 district court nullified the state’s previous six-week ban on the procedure, with a Polk County District Court judge ruling that the ban was unconstitutional based on state and federal law. The case was taken up last year after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending federal protection of the procedure.

After the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, Gov. Kim Reynolds immediately sought to revive the law. The blocked law barred abortions once cardiac activity can be detected, coming usually around six weeks of pregnancy.

Parkinson’s Disease: 9 Very Early Warning Signs to Be Aware Of

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder primarily impacting movement, caused by damage or death of neurons in the brain region responsible for muscle control.

When assessing Parkinson’s disease, doctors distinguish between two phases: the prodromal and clinical phases. The prodromal phase is characterized by patients noticing symptoms that raise concern, while the clinical phase involves health care providers conducting tests to diagnose the disease, Dr. Guy Schwartz, co-director of the Stony Brook Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center at Stony Brook Medicine, told The Epoch Times.

Important Information About Low Carb, Cortisol and Glucose

If your fat intake is higher than 30%, glucose will be metabolized through glycolysis and not in the mitochondria, which increases lactic acid. The fat percentage limit for most healthy people is likely around 35%, whereas diabetics and the obese may need to limit their fat intake to 15%

Your body releases cortisol to produce endogenous glucose when your blood sugar is low. Cortisol breaks down your lean muscle, bones and brain to make amino acids that your liver then converts to glucose. Cortisol also promotes inflammation

The best complex carbs are ripe fruits that grow in tropical conditions, such as oranges, tangerines, mango, melon, watermelon and grapes. Cooked starches such as potatoes and white rice are also good if well-cooked. Avoid resistant starches, as they promote endotoxin production in your colon

Joe Rogan Makes Surprise Offer to Vaccine Scientist

Podcast host Joe Rogan on Saturday offered vaccine scientist Peter Hotez $100,000 to the charity of his choice if he would debate 2024 Democratic presidential Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently appeared on Rogan’s show.

Over the weekend, Hotez, a frequent guest on CNN and NBC during the COVID-19 pandemic, posted a Vice article that claimed Spotify has “stopped even sort of trying to stem Joe Rogan’s vaccine misinformation” after the episode with Kennedy, 2024 presidential candidate and prominent skeptic of some childhood vaccines. That article essentially served as a hit-piece targeting Rogan, accusing him of fostering “misinformation” by allowing Kennedy on his program.

“It’s really true,” he wrote, adding that the interview is “just awful. And from all the online attacks I’m receiving after this absurd podcast, it’s clear many actually believe this nonsense.” Hotez is a vaccine scientist and a professor of molecular virology at Baylor College, a chair with the Texas Children’s Hospital, and also wrote about his daughter, titled, “Vaccines Did Not Cause Rachel’s Autism: My Journey as a Vaccine Scientist, Pediatrician, and Autism Dad.”

Wyoming Sorority Sisters Sue Fraternity for Inducting Biological Male As First ‘Trans’ Member

The younger woman spoke through tears, telling Patsy Levang how a biological male had been admitted into Kappa Kappa Gamma, the on-campus women’s sorority house where she lives at the University of Wyoming. The newly-minted male member has free access to areas where men are strictly banned: that includes hallways, lockless bathrooms, and changing areas. “I don’t think anyone cares,” Hannah Holtmeier told Levang, the former Kappa Foundation president who bid the organization farewell in 2012.

The women were “shocked” and “caught off guard” by the 6-foot, 2-inch, 260-pound individual, Artemis Langford, 21, who identifies as female and gained unfettered access to the girls-only quarters of the second floor. Witnesses reported seeing him couched in the common area, not studying, for hours; sidling in and standing silently in the corner of the room while the women changed; becoming visibly aroused—mind and body reacting as a man—while watching them. His distinctly male response was visible through his leggings, they allege. Other times he kept a pillow on his lap.
