US sends in FBI, offers $5 million reward to catch Ecuador assassin

ECUADOR: After the assassination of presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio on August 20, American FBI agents traveled to the South American country at the request of Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso, where they met with the State Attorney General’s Office and National Police. The United States offered a $5 million reward for information leading to capture of those involved in the assassination, and later through the Organized Crime Rewards Program the U.S. added a second reward of $1 million.

Anti-Israel Protesters Descend on Downing Street After Media Blamed Israel for Explosion at Gaza Hospital

Hundreds of anti-Israel protesters descended upon Downing Street in London outside the Prime Minister’s official residence on Wednesday evening to hold a “vigil” for those killed in an explosion at a hospital in Gaza, which the legacy media initially blamed on Israel based on apparently false assertions from the Hamas terror group.

An “emergency protest” was organised on Whitehall by the Stop the War Coalition to protest against Israel and to hold vigil for the people who died at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza on Tuesday evening.

EXCLUSIVE: Israeli Surveillance Drone Video of the Fully Intact and Undamaged Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza after Rocket Hits Parking Lot – NOT the Hospital

On Tuesday evening a rocket reportedly hit the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza causing a massive explosion and resulting in the deaths of allegedly several hundred Palestinians.

The Palestinians, Islamic Jihad terror group and Western media immediately blamed Israel for the explosion.

This comes ten days after the largest slaughter of Jews since World War II. Over 1,300 Jews were massacred by Hamas and another 200 Jews were taken hostage back to Gaza on October 7.

The international media immediately blamed Israel for the rocket attack “on the hospital.”

US vetoes UN’s call for ‘humanitarian pause’ and corridors into Gaza

Ambassador says text was unacceptable as it did not mention Israel’s right to self-defence

The US has used its veto at the UN security council to block a resolution calling for Israel to allow humanitarian corridors into the Gaza Strip, a pause in the fighting and the lifting of an order for civilians to leave the north of the besieged territory.

The text – supported by 12 of the 15 members of the security council on Wednesday – contained criticism of “heinous terrorist crimes by Hamas” and made no direct reference of Israel. In an attempt to win US support, the draft resolution did not explicitly call for a ceasefire, instead referencing a “humanitarian pause”.

But the US ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, said the resolution, carefully crafted by Brazilian diplomats, was unacceptable because it made no mention of Israel’s right to self-defence. The UK abstained, saying the resolution lacked mention of the way Hamas was using ordinary Palestinians as human shields.

Argentina’s Inflation Rate Soars Above 130% as Presidential Election Nears

Argentina’s rampant inflation reached 138.3 percent over the past 12 months as of September, creating a precarious economic situation that has made the nation one of the most inflation-plagued countries in the world as voters prepare to choose a new president on Sunday.

Argentina currently maintains the third-highest inflation rate in the world. The state of the nation’s economy, the crumbling Argentine peso, and out-of-control inflation rates not seen in the country in more than three decades are at the forefront of the issues defining the presidential election. Voters will choose a new president, as outgoing leftist president Alberto Fernández chose not to run for reelection.

Is a New World War About to Begin?

With the recent attack on Israel, American war hawks are squawking again despite these warnings. Meanwhile, cartels have been smuggling terrorists into the US for over a decade.

As detailed in “Phase 2 of The Great Reset: War,” published a year-and-a-half ago, in March 2022, the globalist cabal behind The Great Reset plan desperately wants war — the bigger the better — as this will facilitate the transition into their “new world order.”

The more areas leveled, the easier it will be to rebuild smart cities in their stead. The more people killed, the more malleable survivors will be, and likely to accept slavery in return for some semblance of peace and security.

War destroys supply chains, the energy sector, food supply and the workforce, which creates dependency on government, which in turn will be taken over by private interests and central banks through the collapse of the global economy. Putting an end to the Ukraine war could go a long way toward thwarting that plan.

At bare minimum, it would drastically delay the final implementation of The Great Reset, giving us time to work out other solutions. But instead, American leaders are adding fuel to yet another war.

As predicted, ever since Russia’s incursion into Ukraine, the U.S. has done nothing but push for the escalation of conflict, and now, with the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack on Israel, American war hawks are squawking again, calling for retaliatory strikes not only against Palestinian civilians in Gaza but also Iran, suspected of funding Hamas forces.

U.S. NEWS, POLITICS & GOVERNMENT

US Assesses Israel Not Responsible for Hospital Blast in Gaza

President Joe Biden said on Oct. 18 that data collected by the U.S. Defense Department supports Israel’s claim that it wasn’t responsible for a deadly explosion at a Gaza hospital on Oct. 17.

“Based on what I’ve seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you,” he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting in Tel Aviv following his arrival in the country.

The White House later confirmed this, saying its current assessment showed Israel wasn’t to blame.

BREAKING: 300 Arrested After Pro-Hamas Insurrectionists Infiltrated U.S. Capitol Office Building

More than 300 people were arrested Wednesday by the U.S. Capitol Police, after a full day of “protests” by Hamas supporters in and around U.S. Capitol grounds, according to Townhall Managing Editor Spencer Brown, who reported that three people were arrested for assaulting officers. A full list of charges is to be announced.

USCP leadership has anticipated unrest at the Capitol since the latest outbreak of hostilities between Hamas and Israel on October 7. Last Thursday night security fencing was erected around the Capitol ahead of Hamas’ “Day of Jihad” on Friday the 13th, and on Tuesday House members/staff were notified of an “increased security posture due to potential demonstration activity” and “potential for civil disturbance on Wednesday.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene Minces No Words in Letter to Capitol Police After ‘Ceasefire’ Mob Invades Capitol

It has been an absolutely wild day on Capitol Hill, to say the least, with a Democrat member of the United States Congress (Hamas Caucus leader Rashida Tlaib) inciting mobs while threatening President Joe Biden, and anti-Israel radicals invading the Cannon House Office Building, disrupting official proceedings and committing vandalism in the process.

Oh, and did I mention that there were other Democrat members of Congress who also joined in on inciting the agitators? Yeah, that happened, too.

In response to all the chaos, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.) minced no words whatsoever in a letter she wrote to the Capitol Police, demanding they preserve all evidence related to what she described as the “insurrection” at the Capitol Wednesday and calling for the insurrectionists to have the book thrown at them:

“I am formally requesting that the United States Capitol Police preserve all video surveillance footage, photographic evidence, police reports, and arrest records from all House Office Buildings on October 18, 2023.  The group that organized the insurrection, Jewish Voice for Peace, is a pro-Islamic anti-Semitic group that seeks the destruction of the state of Israel, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

By launching an insurrection in the Capitol complex, these actors caused elevators to be shut down, staircases and hallways to be blocked, exits to be made inaccessible, and official legislative business to be obstructed, putting Members of Congress, their staffs, and Capitol visitors at risk.

The Committee on House Administration must investigate this incident and review all footage and evidence provided by Capitol Police, and the insurrectionists involved must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Kari Lake Picks Up Endorsement from Top Republican Senator

‘Kari Lake is in this race to make Arizona and America stronger. I’m endorsing Kari Lake for U.S. Senate.’

Kari Lake’s Arizona Senate campaign got a boost on Monday after securing an endorsement from Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.).

“Kari Lake will shine brightly for Arizona,” Mr. Barrasso said in a statement. “She is a generational communicator who is giving voice to Arizona citizens.” Mr. Barrasso, chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, is the third-ranking member in the Senate Republican leadership.

Ms. Lake officially launched her campaign on Oct. 10 to capture the Senate seat currently held by former Democrat Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.). The latest endorsement came less than a week after former President Donald Trump endorsed Ms. Lake’s Senate bid.

“Joe Biden’s policies have crushed Arizona. Arizonans are dealing with record inflation—up 20 percent under the Biden administration,” Mr. Barrasso added. “Arizona is also on the front lines of the worst illegal immigration crisis in American history. Nearly 8 million illegal immigrants under Biden, equal to the population of Arizona. The U.S. Senate needs a Senator from Arizona that understands these issues, and will fight hard to solve them.

“Kari Lake is in this race to make Arizona and America stronger. I’m endorsing Kari Lake for U.S. Senate.”

‘End This Appeasement Strategy’: Senators Call on Biden to Formally Freeze $6 Billion Ransom Money to Iran

A bipartisan group of 14 senators led by Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn (TN), Joni Ernst (IA), and Jacky Rosen (NV) are calling on the Biden administration to freeze the $6 billion it agreed to release to Iran in exchange for five American hostages last month, in light of the terrorist attacks committed by Iran-supported Hamas in Israel.

On Thursday, the senators sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken requesting him to make it official U.S. policy to freeze the $6 billion and hold Iran accountable for its direct support of Hamas. Signatories of the letter included Sens. Blackburn, Ernst, Rosen, Joe Manchin (D-WV), Tammy Baldwin (D-IL), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), Bob Casey (D-PA), Todd Young (R-IN), Kyrsten Sinema (R-AZ), James Lankford (R-OK), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), and Jon Tester (D-MT).

Judge Denies Special Counsel’s Request in Trump Case

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon, presiding over the case against former President Donald Trump for allegedly mishandling classified documents, rejected special counsel Jack Smith’s request to set up a private facility in Washington, D.C., to hold classified documents he is required to turn over to the defendants in discovery.

“The parties are advised that production of classified discovery to defense counsel is deemed timely upon placement in an accredited facility in the Southern District of Florida, not in another federal district,” reads the brief order. “It is the responsibility of the Office of the Special Counsel to make and carry out arrangements to deposit such discovery to defense counsel in this District.”

Judge Cannon has been strict about jurisdiction in this case, after the special counsel revealed that a grand jury in Washington, D.C., was still meeting even after the case was assigned to her court. It is illegal to use a grand jury to produce additional information after a defendant has already been indicted.

Keep your voice down, judge warns Donald Trump at fraud trial

Arthur Engoron gives warning after ex-president conferred aloud in court and threw hands up in frustration as witness testified

A judge warned Donald Trump and others at his New York civil fraud trial to keep their voices down on Wednesday after the former president threw up his hands in frustration and spoke aloud to his lawyers while a witness was testifying against him.

Judge Arthur Engoron gave the admonition after Trump conferred animatedly with his lawyers at the defense table during real-estate appraiser Doug Larson’s second day of testimony at the Manhattan trial.

State lawyer Kevin Wallace asked Engoron to ask the defense to “stop commenting during the witness’s testimony”, adding that the “exhortations” were audible on the witness’s side of the room. The judge then asked everyone to keep their voices down, “particularly if it’s meant to influence the testimony”.

Judge Overseeing Election Case Assigned to Second Trump Case

Both cases accuse former President Donald Trump of wrongdoing in his actions to challenge the 2020 election results.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who is overseeing the case special counsel Jack Smith is prosecuting against former President Donald Trump, was randomly reassigned another case on Oct. 6, also against the former president.

The judge known for harsh Jan. 6-related sentencings now presides over both a criminal and civil case against the former president. He had previously filed a motion for her to recuse herself from his case, but she ruled it unnecessary.

The civil suit was brought by the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, accusing President Trump, his campaign, and the Republican National Committee of disenfranchising black voters.

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper Sues Republicans Over Changes to Election Rules

North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper filed a lawsuit against Republican legislative leaders on Oct. 17 over changes they made to the State Board of Elections and county boards of elections, which he says violated the constitutional separation of powers.

The lawsuit stems from Senate Bill 749, which goes into effect in 2025 and will remove the governor’s powers to appoint members of the State Board of Elections, handing it over instead to legislative leaders.

Under the measure, a bipartisan election board will be established instead of state and county boards being controlled by the party of the governor. Those boards will now have to be appointed by an equal number of Republicans and Democrats to make eight members in total.

Rep. Miller-Meeks Faces Death Threats After Voting Against Jordan

Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, R-Iowa, has received “credible death threats,” she said in a statement Wednesday, after voting against Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, for House speaker.

Jordan, a hardline conservative, was formally nominated by a majority of his party last week but has been unsuccessful in getting the necessary 217 Republicans to back him in two House votes so far, with more lawmakers from his own party opposing him Wednesday than in the first vote Tuesday. A third vote is expected to take place Thursday.

Miller-Meeks, a Republican who represents a politically competitive district in Iowa, voted for Jordan the first time but switched to vote for Rep. Kay Granger, R-Texas, chair of the House Appropriations Committee, on Wednesday afternoon.

What law? Bacon goes on CNN … typical RINO behavior!

GOP Rep. Bacon: Jordan Is Done, He Needs to ‘Withdraw’ from Speaker Race

Representative Don Bacon (R-NE) said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) should withdraw from the speaker race because he will not get the votes.

Anchor Jake Tapper said, “In fact, Jordan is doing worse than he did yesterday. He had fewer votes than he did yesterday. A spokesman for Jordan said he’s not dropping out. We’re going to “keep going.” Do you see Jordan getting to 217 any time soon, or do you think he will keep doing worse and worse?”

Bacon said, “I believe he’s done. He needs to withdraw from this. He’s going to lose more votes tomorrow. I know it. I know who is going to cross over and change. He doesn’t have a pathway forward to 217.”

Report: Soros-Backed New Orleans DA Carjacked by Armed Suspects

George Soros-backed Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams says he is just glad to be alive after he and his 78-year-old mother were reportedly carjacked Monday night around 10 p.m.

WWLTV reported that Williams got out of the car when the suspects converged on it, and he urged his mother to get out as well.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Comes Out in Favor of Reparations

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. departed from his usual moderate posturing by coming out in favor of reparations.

Kennedy favoring reparations may be a politically strategic move to pull support from President Joe Biden, who has remained silent on the issue. Earlier this year, for instance, the White House refused to provide an answer on the subject, opting to leave it up to Congress.

Sen. Ted Cruz Says RFK Jr. Needs Secret Service Protection, Questions DHS Denial

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is at risk of assassination ‘for no other reason than [the mere fact] that he is a Kennedy,’ the Secret Service has said.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) sent a letter to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Monday, questioning why the agency has not yet provided protection to 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“On July 21, 2023, you made the executive decision to deny Secret Service protection to Robert Francis Kennedy, Jr. after eighty-eight days of failing to respond to his either formal request for protection, or follow-ups by his campaign,” said the Oct. 16 letter. “This delay represents a stark departure from the standard fourteen-day turnaround for this type of request.”

He cited an incident in September when an armed man impersonating a U.S. marshal was arrested at one of Mr. Kennedy’s events in Los Angeles.

“This near assassination attempt hardly came as a surprise given that Mr. Kennedy’s original request for Secret Service protection included a sixty-seven page report from a leading private security firm detailing a myriad of unique and well-established safety risks,” the letter said.

Tucker Carlson’s Media Startup Gets Big Boost From ‘Anti-Woke’ Investment Firm: Report

Tucker Carlson’s media startup got a big boost on Monday as a venture capital firm has reportedly agreed to invest $15 million in his budding business.

Former Fox News primetime host Tucker Carlson scored a win Monday as an “anti-woke” venture capital firm has agreed to invest millions of dollars in his budding media startup, according to reports.

Venture firm 1789 Capital, co-founded by Chris Buskirk and Omeed Malik, has invested $15 million in Mr. Carlson’s media company, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Mr. Buskirk and Mr. Malik told the Journal that 1789 Capital sees investment opportunities in three key areas, including in what they described as the “parallel economy,” where companies like Mr. Carlson’s use existing business models to reach conservative-leaning consumers.

Another area of focus for 1789 is investing in companies that are bringing jobs back to the United States as part of the broader trend of deglobalization and reordering of supply chains.

The third is what Mr. Malik described as capital-seeking companies left out in the cold due to politicized investment decisions on the part of the collective “ESG cult.”

ESG refers to the “Environmental, Social, and Governance” (ESG) framework that started out as soft guidelines but some experts say has turned into heavy-handed mandates that push controversial “social justice” ideologies and refuse to invest in startups that don’t toe the “woke” line.

Natalee Holloway’s suspected killer, Joran van der Sloot, admits to crime, says mother

A man long thought to have killed Alabama teenager Natalee Holloway 20 years ago has admitted to the crime, her mother has said.

Joran van der Sloot pleaded guilty on Wednesday to extorting money from the family and as part of a plea deal he had to reveal how the teenager died.

“He is the killer,” Beth Holloway told reporters outside the Birmingham court.

Her daughter, then 18, disappeared from Caribbean island Aruba in 2005 after leaving a bar with van der Sloot.

The Dutchman will serve his 20-year sentence in Peru where he was already behind bars for another murder.

In 2010 he demanded $250,000 from her mother in exchange for information.

“You have finally admitted that, in fact, you murdered her,” her mother, Beth, said to him in court on Wednesday, according to news site AL.com.

2 Key Factors—Often Overlooked—in Immune Resilience This Winter

Certain habits, supplements, and often ignored factors play a critical role in how your immune system functions.

People love to shop for immune-boosting herbs and supplements during cold and flu season, yet the most important ingredients for immune resilience can’t be found in a supplement bottle.

Instead, they’re on your pillow. And in your kitchen.

Two deeply important yet overlooked factors when it comes to immune resilience are sufficient sleep and protein.

Why Sleep Is So Important for Healthy Immune Function

Research consistently shows that nothing holds a candle to sleep when it comes to superior immunity. Poor sleep signals other disorders that can compromise your immunity.

For a better nights sleep we recommend Herbal Zzz & Magnesium Oil

Clinically, one of the most common causes of poor sleep we see is a blood sugar imbalance.

On one end of the spectrum, we have people battling chronically high blood sugar, which causes inflammation, insulin resistance, and declining brain health, all of which degrade sleep. A fasting blood sugar over 100 milligrams/deciliter or an HbA1c over 5.6 percent indicates your blood sugar is too high, which may be the cause of your sleep issues and weakened immunity. One of the most common symptoms of insulin resistance is feeling sleepy after meals.

Product of recommendation to help with blood sugar: SugR-2-Fibr

Eating smaller meals more frequently, not skipping meals, and emphasizing sufficient fat, protein, and fiber can improve sleep in these cases. Eating a small amount before bed can also help with sleep during the night, and in some cases, if falling back asleep after waking up at 3 or 4 a.m. proves difficult, a few bites of food may help.

The Importance of Circadian Rhythm

The circadian rhythm, or your sleep-wake cycle, plays a role in immune resilience. Following a natural circadian rhythm, which involves going to bed at the same time and waking up at the same time, is crucial for enhancing immune resilience. Waking up naturally, without the need for an alarm, allows the body to complete its sleep cycles and promotes optimal immune function.

The biggest sleep mistake most people make is staying up too late, leading to disrupted sleep patterns and compromised immune function. If you genuinely want to improve your immune resilience, it is crucial to prioritize going to bed early enough to allow for waking up naturally.

Also, limit your exposure to blue light coming from your screens, which signals the body that it is daytime. Use the night mode on your devices that lowers blue light after a certain hour, avoid devices altogether, or try orange glasses to reduce the impact. Keep lights in your home dim after sunset.

Protein for Immune Resilience

One thing I frequently see in patients struggling with autoimmunity, chronic inflammation, and other immune-based disorders is they don’t eat enough protein. This is especially true of people on a limited diet because of their autoimmune condition. They may be great about avoiding gluten and eating a whole-food diet devoid of processed foods but when we analyze their intake, we find they eat far too little protein.

Protein plays an essential role in various aspects of immune resilience, including the immune response to viruses, regulating inflammation, and the synthesis of various immune cells.

Address Inflammatory Triggers

Chronic inflammation weakens the immune system, leaving it less equipped to combat viruses and other pathogens effectively. If you find yourself experiencing constant fatigue and body pain, it may be a sign of inflammation compromising your immune resilience. Understanding and then addressing the underlying causes of inflammation is crucial for restoring immune function.

Products we recommend for chronic inflammation: CurcuminX4000 With Fenugreek

The Synergy of Vitamin D3 and Omega-3s to Support Immunity

Studies have shed light on the powerful synergy between vitamin D3 and omega-3 fatty acids in supporting immunity and reducing inflammation. When taken together, these two nutrients have a combined anti-inflammatory effect that surpasses their individual benefits. Incorporating vitamin D3 and omega-3 into our daily routine can be safe, affordable, and effective in promoting immune resilience.

The Power of Glutathione for Immune Resilience

Glutathione, often referred to as our body’s master antioxidant, plays a vital role in protecting us from autoimmunity, viruses, inflammation, and other attacks on the immune system.

When glutathione levels decline due to aging, stress, poor diet, exposure to toxins, chronic infections, or other factors, we are more susceptible to inflammation and infection.

Building Immune Resilience Through Better Mental Health Habits

The field of psychoneuroimmunology has shed light on how excess stress and unresolved traumas can trigger powerful inflammatory responses, making us more susceptible to autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammatory disorders. To build resilience, it’s essential to adopt strategies that support our mental well-being:

  • Cultivate Positivity: Write down five things each day that bring you happiness. Reflecting on these positive aspects of your life can uplift your spirits and promote a more positive mindset, which can have a beneficial impact on your immune system and inflammatory response.
  • Practice Mindfulness: Engaging in deep breathing exercises, gratitude practices, prayer, or meditation can help reduce stress levels and promote a sense of calm. Mindfulness techniques have been shown to have a positive influence on immune function and inflammatory markers.
  • Regular Exercise: Engaging in regular physical activity not only helps reduce stress but also enhances immune function. However, it’s important to avoid overexercising, as excessive physical strain can have the opposite effect on the immune system.
  • Socialize Face-to-Face: Prioritize in-person social interactions whenever possible. Connecting with others face-to-face can provide emotional support, reduce feelings of loneliness, and positively impact mental well-being. Strong social connections have been linked to improved immune function and reduced inflammation.

Avoid Sugar

The detrimental effect of sugar is vast. Processed sugar, found in many processed foods and beverages, can have detrimental effects on our immune system. It triggers inflammation in the body, which can weaken our immune response and make us more susceptible to infections and illnesses. By eliminating or significantly reducing our intake of sugars, including natural sweeteners and fruit juices, we can help support our immune system and improve our overall health.

Diversify Plant Fiber Intake

Diversifying fruit and vegetable intake is crucial for immune resilience. Increasing the intake of low-glycemic fruits and vegetables in our diet not only helps to reduce sugar consumption but also provides essential nutrients, gut-friendly fiber, and beneficial antioxidant flavonoids. These components support our immune system and contribute to a healthy gut microbiome. A diverse gut microbiome is crucial for optimal immune function, as it helps regulate inflammation and promotes overall immune resilience.

Flesh-Eating Bacteria Cases on the Rise: Here Are the Symptoms

Despite usually occurring in Gulf Coast states, cases of flesh-eating bacteria have moved northward.

A “flesh-eating bacteria” called Vibrio vulnificus has been making headlines, with news of deaths and patients having to amputate limbs to control the infection.

While the bacteria tended to be more prominent in the Gulf Coast states, in recent months, cases have also spread northward, with cases in New York, North Carolina, and Connecticut.

So what is Vibrio vulnificus, and will they really eat flesh like in horror movies?

Fears of employee displacement as Amazon brings robots into warehouses

Digit will begin its time on the floor by shifting empty tote boxes amid concerns humans will be shifted out of jobs

Amazon is experimenting with a humanoid robot as the technology company increasingly seeks to automate its warehouses.

It has started testing Digit, a two-legged robot that can grasp and lift items, at facilities this week. The device is first being used to shift empty tote boxes.

The company’s ambitious drive to integrate robotics across its sprawling operation has sparked fears about the effect on its workforce of almost 1.5 million humans.

Tye Brady, the chief technologist at Amazon Robotics, claimed that – although it will render some jobs redundant – the deployment of robots would create new ones.

The US Government Is Getting A Massive Amount Of UFO Reports With The Numbers Only Getting Higher And Higher

I feel like we’re getting closer and closer to an alien invasion.

The United States government — our government — is getting dozens of reports per month of UFOs (which, by the way, I refuse to call “unidentified anomalous phenomena,” so stupid). The news comes courtesy of CNN, who is citing the director of the office that was created to investigate incidents associated with unidentified flying objects.

Alaska Sues Biden Administration Over Canceled Oil, Gas Leases
An Alaska state agency on Wednesday sued the Biden administration over its decision to cancel oil and gas leases in the state’s North Slope, one of the country’s largest reserves of pristine federal land.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in Washington, D.C., challenges the U.S. Interior Department’s Sept. 6 decision to scrap seven oil and gas leases in Alaska’s 19 million-acre Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, an area that is acutely vulnerable to climate change and home to grizzly and polar bears, snowy owls, and herds of caribou.

The Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority, which held the leases before they were canceled, is asking the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to restore them, arguing the federal government’s decision violates a clear Congressional mandate in a 2017 tax bill to open up the Arctic to drilling.

EPA Orders Additional Cleanup in East Palestine Derailment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Wednesday ordered Norfolk Southern Corp. to conduct additional cleanup in East Palestine, Ohio, following the Feb. 3 derailment of a company-operated freight train.

The EPA said it also ordered Norfolk Southern to conduct additional investigations into oily sheen, or film, on water and sediments in two creeks in East Palestine.

“Work done under this order will determine if more cleanup is necessary to ensure any potential long-term impacts are addressed,” the EPA said in a statement.

US Supreme Court Declines to Take on Major Car Dealers’ Case

The U.S. Supreme Court declined to take up a case that challenged a Minnesota law that would mandate auto dealers to offer more hybrid and electric vehicles.

The high court did not provide an explanation for declining the case on Monday. No justices offered a dissent.

The Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) challenged the emissions law, known as the “clean car” rules, after they were adopted in 2021 by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency at the request of Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat. The emissions standards are slated to go into effect in 2024 for 2025 model-year vehicles.

Federal Government Hit With Lawsuit Over Offshore Wind Plans

Several plaintiffs led by officials in Cape May County, New Jersey, filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration over development of a large offshore wind farm near the county’s coastline.

“As we’ve said many times, we spent the better part of two years trying to negotiate with Orsted to redesign this project in a way that would cause less damage to the environment and less damage to our tourism and fisheries interests,” Cape May County Board of Commissioners Director Len Desiderio said in a statement in announcing the lawsuit against several federal agencies.

Explaining that the county’s proposals “fell on deaf ears,” Mr. Desiderio claimed that federal and state regulators “rubber-stamped” permits to allow the construction of the Ocean Wind 1 project.

Greta Thunberg Gets Arrested for the Simple Offense of Protesting Gas and Oil Conference

When I came across this story a little while ago, it brought me such joy because it’s about one of my all-time favorite people in the world that I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, Britney Spears.

Whoops, scratch that, I mean Greta Thunberg.

For some reason that I still have not figured out, I think Greta and Britney are the same person and I truly don’t know why. There’s just something similar about both of them that I can’t put my finger on.

Anywho, if you don’t recall who Greta is, she made quite a name for herself a couple of years back at a U.N. conference when she lectured the audience about how she had to skip school and paddle a boat across the ocean to be environmentally conscious in her effort to get there.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here is one of my all-time drops on my radio show of HOW DARE YOU.

Pressure Test Yourself

I’ll just jump right into this article and say that this is not going to be like the normal type of tertiary prepping skills I like to write about.  This one is going to be focused solely on conveying the importance of pressure testing yourself.  What I mean by this is, although as a prepper, survivalist, homesteader, or bush crafter you may have all the necessary equipment given a SHTF or TEOTWAWKI event, and you may even have some skillsets you’ve learned over the years, but have you ever pressure tested YOU?

In other words, have you ever created that SHTF or WROL scenario and put not just that bugout or get-home bag equipment to the test, but your skills, physical ability, and intestinal fortitude as well?  At the end of the day, you can own all the latest gee-whiz-gizmo gadgets, read every prepper book, and watch every YouTube video on the planet, but if you have only mentally fantasized about what you will do when it all goes to Hades in a handbasket, you could get seriously injured or worse, killed, when that oh-so-lovely fantasy becomes a harsh reality.

His big crime? He got convicted for spreading a meme.

The 2023 Orionid Meteor Shower Ready to Rain Down on Earth This Fall—All You Need to Know

A little comet dust. A few shooting stars. Fireballs from above. Fall meteors are here—and it’s awe-inspiring to imagine how those infinite silver shards rain down from space like on some cosmic schedule, as they have done for eons. One group of meteors in particular faithfully returns every year around this time without fail.

The Orionids

Every mid- to late-October, we cross paths with a group of meteors called the Orionids. They seem to emanate from the same spot on our star map every year—right beside the club of the constellation Orion the Hunter, hence the name Orionids. But the meteors don’t actually come from that constellation; rather, they hail from a comet travelling along a vast loop around our sun, Halley’s Comet.
