India expels Canadian diplomat in tit-for-tat move as row over assassinated Sikh activist deepens

Canada’s accusation that India may have been involved in the assassination of a Sikh activist on its soil has triggered a growing row with Ottawa and New Delhi both expelling senior diplomats, sending relations between the two countries plunging.

The tit-for-tat diplomatic expulsions came after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canada was investigating “credible allegations” linking India to the June killing of Canadian citizen and prominent Sikh leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar.

“Over the past number of weeks, Canadian security agencies have been actively pursuing credible allegations of a potential link between agents of the government of India and the killing of a Canadian citizen Hardeep Singh Nijjar,” Trudeau said in parliament on Monday, adding his government would take all steps necessary “to hold perpetrators of this murder to account.”

Canada said it had kicked out an Indian diplomat, who foreign affairs minister Mélanie Joly described as the head of the Indian intelligence agency in the country.

“Today we’re acting by expelling a key diplomat, but we will get to the bottom of this,” she told reporters in Ottawa, adding Trudeau has raised this issue with both US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

“I offered 10,000 people to the mayor of Washington D.C. and Nancy Pelosi … and they turned it down flat,” President Trump said in a Sept. 17 interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Nancy Pelosi, who was then the House speaker, “was in charge of security. Appeals Court Says Supreme Court Didn’t Overrule Gun Ban for Felons

The Supreme Court’s landmark decision last year on the right to carry guns outside the home for self-defense purposes didn’t invalidate the longstanding gun law that bars felons from owning firearms, according to an opinion written by a circuit court judge.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit wrote that the Supreme Court decision on the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association v. Bruen “created a new test for determining the scope of the Second Amendment,” but it didn’t “appear to question the constitutionality of longstanding prohibitions on possession of firearms by convicted felons.”

“If anything, Bruen contains two potential signs of support for these prohibitions,” an opinion written (pdf) by 10th Circuit Judge Robert Bacharach said in a separate case.

US Debt Rises Above $33 Trillion For The First Time, Soars By $1 Trillion In 3 Months

On Sept 6, when looking at the latest daily debt numbers, we predicted that total US debt would hit the very special (at least for Masons) number of 33 in two weeks.

We were off by 2 days, with the US treasury naturally obliging by hitting the number early rather than late.

Today, the Treasury announced that for the first time, total US debt has surpassed $33 trillion, rising by $56 billion in one day, and by a mindblowing $1 trillion in just the past 3 months!

The historic breakout takes place just weeks before the interest on total federal debt is set to hit $1 trillion, surpassing how much the US spends on defense – and soon after – every other outlay category.

4 Tips For Lowering Blood Pressure From A Dietitian

Hypertension is known as “the silent killer,” with 20 percent of Americans unaware that they have it. The good news is that it’s easy to check on your health using a blood pressure cuff from home, and there are many ways to lower your blood pressure without going straight to prescription drugs.

There are different categories of high blood pressure

According to the American Heart Association, the following guidelines should be used for classifying high blood pressure.Of note, even with a stage 1 reading, official diagnosis is up to the discretion of your doctor as they can fully evaluate your health outlook.

Even after you see a doctor, there are plenty of steps you can take to manage your high blood pressure — and lower it.

4 tips for lowering blood pressure

Limit excess salt

An excess of salt, not salt by itself, can drive high blood pressure. Salt works together with other electrolytes, namely potassium and magnesium. When there is an imbalance, it can create problems. Highly processed snack foods like chips and crackers as well as fast foods are typically exceedingly high in sodium. The simplest way to reduce your intake is to eat less of these foods.

Eat more potassium

Potassium blunts the effects of salt by oppositely acting on it. This helps your body to get rid of it more efficiently. Sometimes, it isn’t eating too much salt that is the problem, but not eating enough potassium. It’s recommended to reach close to 4,700 mg per day. However, if you aren’t making a concerted effort to hit this mark, it can be difficult to reach this level through a normal diet. Potassium rich foods include beans, potatoes, avocados, coconut water, and watermelon.

Magnesium regulates both salt and potassium, making it a very important mineral to keep up with if you are trying to lower your blood pressure. Additionally, studies show it is effective at lowering hypertension by enhancing vasodilation.

Vasodilation describes the dilation of blood vessels, which is directly linked to lowering blood pressure. Magnesium-rich foods include dark leafy greens, avocado, and dark chocolate.

Pro tip: don’t overcook your vegetables if you want to retain as much magnesium as possible. All dark leafy veggies contain chlorophyll, of which magnesium is a central part of. Overcooking vegetables to the point that they are no longer a vibrant green means that the magnesium has been removed. It can also be difficult to get magnesium from food, so consider supplementing it if you are medically cleared.

Power Mall Product to Try: HYPER-EEZ from NAH&S – In today’s stressful world it’s no wonder many people, young and old, have lost ideal physiology. This continuous stress leads to syndrome X and, ultimately, high blood pressure and other cardiovascular conditions. Hyper-eez is made from mountain-grown herbs, spices, and handpicked, wild Hawthorne berries. It provides potent support and a dense nutrient base for optimal nutrition. Hyper-eez is ideal for supporting a healthy circulatory system; the heart, circulation, and kidneys, through its potent antioxidants and wild herbs. Discard any synthetic, petrochemical-based vitamins. Take instead this truly natural whole food supplement, and defeat all of your stress.  Use for a minimum of 90 days for best results.

Lower stress

Chronic stress can have an incredible role on blood pressure. However, getting rid of stress can sometimes feel impossible. We can’t always be completely stress-free, but try to practice more mindfulness and let go of things that are not within your control. Engage in more fun activities when you can, and just make more time to enjoy things you like. Whether it’s reading, going for a walk, or watching your favorite show, it all helps.

Bottom Line

Unless you’re keeping track, it can be hard to tell when your blood pressure is running high. Then before you know it, you find out that you have it. This is how it goes for millions of Americans, and many times, “cut the salt” is the main advice they get back. While this helps, there is more to the picture. Increasing potassium and magnesium-rich foods, while lowering stress, plays just as much of a significant role.

Black Lives Matter Protests Led to Fewer Police Killings, More Murders: Study

During the five-year period of the study, reported murders rose by about 11.5 percent.

While police killings declined in the aftermath of Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests, a recent study found that there was a jump in homicides as police became “less proactive” due to worries about public perception and lawsuits.

The Sept. 14 study analyzed two major waves of BLM protests—those following the death of Michael Brown, from 2014 to 2015, and those following the death of George Floyd, from 2020 to 2021.

Mr. Brown was an 18-year-old black man shot by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. Mr. Floyd, 46, died after a white police officer knelt over his neck during an arrest in Minneapolis in 2020. The study analyzed how police treatment changed over a five-year period between the two protest waves.

The Tyranny Of Technocracy And The Religion of Masking

Technocracy claims that it is the “Science of Social Engineering”. Technocrats turned to religious practices where face masks were common, then they weaponized the practice across all religions. This served to suppress free speech (i.e., don’t talk about technocrats) and to force submissive behavior on those who were too gullible to go along with it. This was a brilliant strategy, if patently evil. When you see this, you will never fall for it again. Free people do not wear masks!
